National CPR Foundation NationalCPRFoundation Review: Good for Basic CPR Certification, Not for Advanced Training

So, I gotta say, I took some courses from NationalCPRFoundation and I gotta say, they're not certified by American Heart, but they're still pretty good for getting your CPR certification or learning how to do hands-only CPR. Now, if you're looking for something more advanced like ACLS or BLS in an acute care setting, this ain't it. I used it as a review before my BLS and I gotta say, the ACLS content was a bit questionable. But, if you're just looking for some basic material that's affordable, this is a solid option. Just don't expect it to meet any trauma or advanced cardiac requirements, ya know?

National CPR Foundation NationalCPRFoundation Review: Cheap and Easy, but is it Reliable?

This website, NationalCPRFoundation (nationalcprfoundation.com), is a place where you can get certified in CPR. It's pretty easy to use and you can do it all online. The best part is that it's cheap, so you don't have to spend a lot of money to get certified.

But, there are some problems with this website. One of the biggest hospitals in the US, UHS, accepts this certification. That's scary because if someone gets certified through this website and then tries to use their CPR skills in a real emergency, they might not know what they're doing.

I heard that some patients have died in behavioral hospitals because the staff didn't know how to do CPR correctly. That's really sad and it could have been prevented if they had been properly trained.

Some people say that this certification isn't accepted at hospitals, but that's not true. UHS still uses this certification for their staff in Florida. So, if you work for UHS and you want them to pay for your CPR class, you have to get certified through this website.

Overall, I think this website is okay if you just want to get certified quickly and cheaply. But, if you want to make sure you know how to do CPR correctly, you should probably look for a different certification program.

National CPR Foundation NationalCPRFoundation Review: Unprofessional and Suspicious Website Raises Concerns for Medical Certification Needs

As a retired RN with 46 years of experience, I was in need of a REAL BLS certification quickly to give COVID immunizations. I stumbled upon NationalCPRFoundation (nationalcprfoundation.com) and was initially drawn to their cheaper prices. However, as I delved deeper into the website, I began to feel uneasy about it. There were several misspellings, grammar errors, and an unprofessional way of stating things. It made me wonder if this was a legitimate website or not.

I was particularly concerned about the fact that there was no street address available for the company, even though they claimed to be based in Las Vegas. Additionally, they stated that they were BBB A+ rated, but when I tried to look them up on the BBB website, they did not come up. This seemed very suspicious to me, and I felt that the Attorney General of Nevada needed to know about this website.

In these uncertain times, it is crucial that we have access to reliable and trustworthy sources for our medical needs. NationalCPRFoundation's lack of professionalism and transparency is unacceptable, and I would give them a ZERO rating at best. I only gave them one star because I had to. I urge others to be cautious when considering this website for their medical certification needs.

National CPR Foundation Hands-On CPR Training with NationalCPRFoundation: A Review

I recently took a CPR and First Aid course from NationalCPRFoundation (nationalcprfoundation.com) and I have to say, I was impressed. While I had previously taken online courses, I realized that these skills require hands-on practice to truly be effective. I mean, you wouldn't want someone performing CPR on you who had only learned it online, right?

That's why I appreciated the emphasis on hands-on training that NationalCPRFoundation provided. They had us practice on CPR mannequins, like resusci-Annie, so we could get a feel for the correct amount of pressure needed to perform chest compressions. And let me tell you, it's a lot more pressure than you might think! In fact, I learned that cracking someone's ribs is often necessary to get enough heart compression. That's not something you can learn from an online course.

Overall, I found the course to be informative and engaging. The instructor was knowledgeable and patient, and I felt like I was able to ask questions without feeling embarrassed. I would definitely recommend NationalCPRFoundation to anyone looking to learn CPR and First Aid skills. Just remember, hands-on practice is key!

National CPR Foundation Disappointed with NationalCPRFoundation's Service: Wrong Provider Card Sent and Delayed Delivery

I done paid for the CPR/AED course on NationalCPRFoundation (nationalcprfoundation.com), took it online and passed it with flying colors. They sent me an email copy of my certificate and a wallet size certificate which I can print out. But, I was expecting my hard copy of my Provider Card and Key Chain certificate too, which I can carry with me all the time. But, it took them six whole days to send it to me after I passed the exam on 11/16/2021. I was so excited to receive it, but when I opened the mail on 11/22/21, I was shocked to see that the Provider Card and Key Chain had someone else's name on it. They sent me the wrong card! I was so disappointed and frustrated. I contacted NCPRF on 11/22/21 to tell them what happened and NCPRF replied they would send me my correct card in the mail. But, it's been almost 5 months now, and I am still waiting for my correct card. I am so disappointed with their service. I will NOT be renewing my CPR/AED cert with them when it expires. I would have attached proof of the wrong Provider Card I sent to NCPRF via email, but because it has someone else's name on it, I don't want to share that publicly.

National CPR Foundation Beware of National CPR Foundation: Misleading Business Model and Non-Accredited Certification

National CPR Foundation is a company that offers online CPR courses. Some people may be wondering if this company is legit. Well, let me tell you, I had a less than satisfactory experience with them.

The first thing that struck me about National CPR Foundation was their business model. They claim that by answering 10 questions, anyone can become certified in CPR. This seemed too good to be true, and it was. The company uses misleading wording to make you think that you are getting a certification that adheres to American Heart Association standards. However, the American Heart Association does not endorse or accredit any online CPR courses.

This means that many employers and agencies will not accept this certification because it is not an accredited course and does not meet AHA or OSHA standards. So, if you are looking for a certification that will be recognized by your employer or agency, this is not the way to go.

Another issue I had with National CPR Foundation was their refund policy. If you try to request a refund, the company will make you jump through hoops to receive one. They require a typed, signed letter from your employer, and then you have to mail back the card which the company states is a "gift" according to their Terms of Service. This is a lot of work for something that should be a simple process.

In conclusion, I would advise anyone looking for a CPR certification to stay away from National CPR Foundation and other companies like it. Their business model is misleading, and their certification is not recognized by many employers and agencies. Plus, their refund policy is a hassle. It's better to go with a reputable company that offers accredited courses.

National CPR Foundation National CPR Foundation Website Review: Easy to Use, but Not Widely Accepted or Sufficient for Medical Professionals

The National CPR Foundation website is quite user-friendly, but it may be too easy to use. The 10-question test at the end of the course is so simple that it's almost laughable. I wouldn't want someone who only received training from this website to perform CPR on me. Most medical professionals don't accept this type of certification because it's not through the American Heart Association, and it doesn't involve hands-on training. Although there may be some small places that accept this form of certification, it's not as widely accepted as advertised.

I used this site to recertify in BLS for a clinical position, but the hospital told me that it's not accepted because it needs to be through the AHA or the Red Cross. Fortunately, I was given the option of getting recertified within 90 days of starting my new job. Any type of CPR certification that is online-only shouldn't exist. You need hands-on training of some sort if you're going to be using a skill to save lives. I feel foolish for even thinking that this kind of training would be acceptable by a reputable healthcare facility. I thought that since I've already been trained properly, I could recertify the easy way. Don't make the same mistake I did!

National CPR Foundation Questionable Quality: A Review of National CPR Foundation's Certification Courses

I recently stumbled upon the National CPR Foundation's website and was taken aback by some of the things I saw. They claim that their certification courses are AHA compliant, created by AHA certified individuals, and endorsed by AHA experienced health providers. This seems like a big deal, as the AHA is a well-known and respected organization in the medical field. However, it's hard to believe that they would endorse another organization's courses in such a way.

As I delved deeper into the CPR certification course, I noticed a lot of inconsistencies and grammatical errors. For example, in the section about chest wounds, one paragraph would say to leave the wound open, while the next would say to dress it with a pad. This kind of inconsistency can be confusing and potentially dangerous in a real-life emergency situation.

The exam at the end of the course is also concerning. There are only ten multiple choice questions, and they remain the same after every retake. This means that someone could simply retake the exam until they pass without actually learning anything. This is a major issue, as CPR is a life-saving skill that requires proper training and knowledge.

Even the physical certification card itself has some oddities. Words like "Course", "Accordance", and "Examination" are capitalized when they wouldn't normally be. While this may seem like a minor issue, it's still strange and raises questions about the legitimacy of the certification.

Overall, I would be hesitant to trust the National CPR Foundation's certification courses. While they may be cheaper and more convenient than other options, the inconsistencies and errors make me question the quality of the training. When it comes to something as important as CPR, it's better to be safe than sorry.

National CPR Foundation NationalCPRFoundation Review: Poorly Worded Questions and Irrelevant Content

My wife recently took an online course for first aid and CPR certification from NationalCPRFoundation (nationalcprfoundation.com) for her job at a home care facility. Her employer agreed to accept an online training program, so she decided to give it a try. She passed the test with only two errors, but upon reviewing the test, I found that most of the questions were irrelevant to the training and poorly worded.

One of the questions she missed was about the Heimlich maneuver. The question stated, "To save an unconscious person who choked on an object, you should do the Heimlich maneuver." The supposedly correct answer was false, yet the choking section of the training said, "When performing the Heimlich maneuver on an unconscious person, lay the patient on his/her back..." It's still the Heimlich maneuver when they're on their back, so why is the answer false?

Another question that my wife missed was about the acronym CAB in CPR. The question stated, "C in C.A.B. stands for chest compressions." They said this was false, but the CPR section of the training said, "C is for Circulation Compressions," and the next line was "Chest Compressions." So, what is this question actually testing that's of relevance to the training? If you Google "CAB CPR," you'll see that the "C" does indeed stand for chest compressions.

Overall, I found the training to be quite lame, and I refused to let my wife pay for the certificate. Instead, she took another online course from newlifecpr.com, which was much more rigorous, and the testing was more reflective of what you need to know. The newlifecpr.com course had 40 multiple-choice questions instead of just 10 true/false questions.

Our advice is to stay away from NationalCPRFoundation and get your training from a provider where you'll actually learn something. Don't waste your time and money on a course that doesn't teach you what you need to know.

National CPR Foundation The Importance of Legitimate CPR Certification: A Nurse's Review of NationalCPRFoundation.com

Hey there, I'm a nurse, nursing professor, and BLS instructor for ASHI, AHA, and Red Cross. I just wanted to share my thoughts on NationalCPRFoundation (nationalcprfoundation.com).

I get it, taking a CPR course can be a drag, especially if you have to do it every two years. Plus, money and time can be tight for some folks. But here's the thing: legality and accreditation are crucial, and unfortunately, this organization lacks both.

You absolutely need a legitimate certificate from AHA, ASHI, or Red Cross to prove to your school, employer, etc. that you know how to perform CPR, first aid, etc. A printed-out certificate from a word document program won't cut it. And forget about getting a physical card in the mail - everything is e-cards these days, so you'll get instant accreditation after completing the course.

Watching a webinar without a licensed medical professional can land you in legal trouble, especially if you end up performing CPR, first aid, etc. and the patient is harmed. The Good Samaritan law won't protect you if the patient, their family, or an observer decides to sue and you can't provide accredited documentation for court.

So please, please, please protect yourself legally and take a legitimate class run by a licensed instructor.

If you're strapped for cash, look for community classes at your local fire department or ask your employer for assistance. (Fun fact: in Seattle, companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Hilton, Sheraton, Seattle Symphony, and Facebook all contract through local nurses and pay their staff for training time and course costs.) So don't be afraid to ask for financial help if you need it.

Just be careful online - there are plenty of predatory websites out there waiting to lure you in.

Anyway, that's my two cents. Stay safe out there, and go save a life!

National CPR Foundation Extremely poor quality content. Absurd to be considered legitimate certification

I found them looking for a quick way to renew my first aid qualifications.

Super cheap, and pay after the test! so why not.

It lets you skip straight to the test, which is a 10 question multiple choice.

Most questions only have two choices.

you only need 7/10 to pass.

You can retry as much as you want.

If you fail, it tells you the correct answers.

Basically, there is zero requirement for you to learn or know anything, or demonstrate knowledge in any way, to get certified.

you've got a decent chance to pass the quiz fully randomly guessing answers, and if you somehow get it wrong, it TELLS YOU THE CORRECT ANSWERS, so the test takes a maximum of 5 minutes to complete, even having zero first aid knowledge.

one of the questions is

"When treating Bites & Stings you should use:

A) An AED (Automated External Defibrillator).

B) An auto-injection."

I'm sorry, WHAT? how about NEITHER? oh you were bitten by an ant? let's just give you an epipen. That just feels like a dangerously worded question that has removed as much context as possible to make the quiz as easy to guess through as possible.

two of the 10-question quiz (20%!) are:~ "your patient is critically ill (heart attack/3rd degree burns). should you call an ambulance? Yes/no."

I truly hope this is a scam provider and their certifications are NOT accepted world wide, as they claim.

I can't imagine a lower possible standard. There is no integrity in actually ensuring the students learn or have any of the required knowledge to provide first aid in any context. If I was an employer, I would see a certificate from this site as less than worthless, since it also clearly demonstrates my employee is trying to cheat their way past having the LIFE SAVING KNOWLEDGE required for the job.

Recommendation: If you want to actually learn and have legitimate first aid training, avoid! If you're just trying to cheat your employer and put lives at risk on the cheap, then use photoshop for free. No reason to use this provider.

National CPR Foundation Your program is great!

Your program is great! I love the information you provide where we can study before taking the exam. The only thing is that I put in that I was renewing my CPR but it didn't renew me it took it as if I just took the exam; however, it's okay as long as when I renew again it don't do the same thing. I renew every 2 years so not sure what happened. I would recommend you to anyone that has to take CPR. The program you offer is the best I have seen. Thank you

The on line CPR review and exam on line was a good way of doing it on line when you have taken CPR classes live many times and provides a basic understanding of what you need to do in case of a situation where you are the only person available to do CPR. It has come handy for me with family members where I actually performed CPR. It can be a real life saver when you act quickly even without an AED at home. It saved my aunt's life who is now 90, 2 years after the incident at home.

I didn't verify my last certificate's expiration date when I was notified by the National CPR Foundation that I was due for renewal. So I paid and took the test. When I went to swap out the certificates, I had one more year on it. WOW, was I ***.
So folks, check your certificate's expiration date before you rely on the Foundation's notice of renewal. I doubt that I could request a refund and receive it.
Otherwise, it is a great resource that I introduced to my company's Training department at the start of Covid.

I loved it! BLS Course was extremely comprehensive. Topics weren't over explained. To the point, no information overload, order of topics just seemed to roll. I truly understand more and retained more from this course than the class I took with an onsite instructor. I honestly feel more knowledgeable and much more confident in assessing an emergency situation and providing the critical care needed to increase the chances of survival and/or recovery of the persons involved as well as basic non emergency care for the injured or ill. Loved It! Definitely well layed out course. I'm impressed!

National CPR Foundation NationalCPRFoundation Review: Don't Waste Your Time or Money on Their Certifications

Yo, so I took the exam on NationalCPRFoundation's website and I passed with flying colors. But when I tried to use my certification, it turns out that it ain't accepted by nobody. I had to go and retake the whole thing through the American Red Cross. Like, what a waste of time and money, you know?

They say they're all OSHA and AHA compliant, but that's just a bunch of baloney. Don't trust 'em.

I'm pretty ticked off about the whole thing, and I want a full refund on my purchase. But now I can't even upload my proof of purchase, so who knows if I'll ever get my money back.

Overall, I'd say steer clear of NationalCPRFoundation if you want a legit certification. They're just a bunch of phonies.

National CPR Foundation NationalCPRFoundation Review: Not the Best Option for CPR Certification

I recently stumbled upon NationalCPRFoundation's website (nationalcprfoundation.com) and decided to give it a try. However, after purchasing a card from them, I quickly realized that it wasn't as official as it appeared.

One major issue with the card is that it doesn't have an expiration date. This is a dead giveaway to any competent HR department that the card is not legitimate. It's important to have an expiration date on your CPR certification to ensure that you are up to date on the latest techniques and procedures.

Another issue I had with NationalCPRFoundation is that their website is a bit confusing to navigate. It took me a while to find the right course and I had to contact customer service for help. However, the customer service representative was friendly and helpful.

Overall, I would say that NationalCPRFoundation is not the best option for getting your CPR certification. While it may seem like a quick and easy solution, it's important to take a legitimate course to ensure that you are properly trained and certified.

National CPR Foundation NationalCPRFoundation Online Course Review: Helpful Instructor, Non-AHA Affiliation, Not Hands-On Certified

I recently took an online CPR course through the NationalCPRFoundation website and I have to say, it was a pretty good experience. The instructor was really helpful and knowledgeable, but I did notice that it wasn't affiliated with the American Health Association like some other courses I've taken in the past.

Unfortunately, I found out later that the certification I received wasn't accepted by my employer because it wasn't hands-on. I was pretty disappointed because I had to take another course through my job, which made it my third time taking a CPR course in just one year! Can you believe it?

Despite this setback, I do think that the NationalCPRFoundation course would be a good option for nursing agencies or other similar organizations. Just make sure to double-check with your employer before signing up to avoid any issues down the line.

National CPR Foundation Beware of NationalCPRFoundation: A Bogus Operation for CPR Certification

So, I was looking for a way to get certified in CPR and stumbled upon NationalCPRFoundation (nationalcprfoundation.com). At first, I thought it was too good to be true, but I decided to give it a try. It was super easy to get certified, which should have been a red flag for me. However, I was curious as to how they could make their claims.

After completing the certification, I realized that it was just a bogus operation designed to separate me from my money. Sure, it was cheap, but it was a complete waste of money because the certification doesn't qualify for anything. I felt like I had been scammed and it was a dishonest business practice. In my opinion, it should be illegal to operate in this way.

Overall, I would not recommend NationalCPRFoundation to anyone looking to get certified in CPR. It's just not worth the risk of wasting your money on a certification that won't qualify you for anything. Save yourself the trouble and find a reputable organization to get certified with.

National CPR Foundation Disappointing CPR Course: My Experience with NationalCPRFoundation

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with NationalCPRFoundation. I mean, I'm no expert or anything, but I've taken a few CPR courses in my time and this one just didn't seem up to snuff. The website was kinda clunky and hard to navigate, and the course itself was just...well, let's just say it didn't inspire a lot of confidence.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm all for online learning and convenience and all that. But when it comes to something as serious as CPR, I feel like you really need to have some hands-on experience and guidance from a real-life instructor. And this course just didn't provide that.

Plus, like the other reviewer said, the course was over in a flash. I mean, I get that they're trying to make it quick and easy, but come on. Ten minutes? That's barely enough time to read through the material, let alone actually absorb it and understand how to apply it in a real-life emergency situation.

All in all, I wouldn't recommend NationalCPRFoundation to anyone looking to get certified in CPR. There are plenty of other, more reputable organizations out there that offer better courses and more comprehensive training. So save your money and go with one of them instead.

National CPR Foundation NationalCPRFoundation Review: Easy Exam, Frustrating Payment Process, Good Website Overall

So, I recently took the CPR exam on NationalCPRFoundation website and I gotta say, it was pretty easy. I passed it with flying colors and was feeling pretty good about myself. But then, when I went to pay for the certificate, I ran into a bit of a problem. I forgot to provide my billing number and the payment didn't go through.

I was pretty frustrated, but I decided to contact the support team to see if they could help me out. I provided them with all the evidence and documents of payment, including my bank transaction history, but they told me that they couldn't do anything for me. I was pretty disappointed, to be honest.

But, despite the setback, I still think NationalCPRFoundation is a good website to use for CPR certification. The exam was easy to understand and the website was easy to navigate. I just wish the support team could have been a bit more helpful.

Overall, I would recommend NationalCPRFoundation to anyone looking to get certified in CPR. Just make sure you double check all your payment information before submitting it!

National CPR Foundation Beware of NationalCPRFoundation: Not AHA Compliant and Not Widely Accepted

I recently stumbled upon the NationalCPRFoundation website and was intrigued by their claim of being AHA compliant. However, upon further research, I discovered that the AHA does not actually approve, endorse, or accept their courses. This was a bit disappointing to learn, as I was hoping to receive a certification that would be widely recognized and accepted.

In addition, I found out that many State Boards and employers do not accept certifications from NationalCPRFoundation. This was concerning, as I was hoping to use my certification for employment purposes. It seems that these certifications do not actually comply with the licensure requirements of most healthcare professionals.

After reading up on the actual laws, I found that most healthcare professionals are required to complete "contact hours" of CPR training in order to meet licensure requirements. It appears that NationalCPRFoundation's courses do not meet these requirements, making them essentially useless for those in the healthcare field.

Overall, I would caution anyone considering using NationalCPRFoundation for their CPR certification needs. It seems that this website is not a legitimate option and may even be a scam. It's important to do your research and make sure that any certification you receive is widely recognized and accepted by State Boards and employers.

National CPR Foundation NationalCPRFoundation Review: Great Certification Process, But Poor Customer Service on Social Media

So, I recently took my CPR certification exam through NationalCPRFoundation and I'm happy to say that I passed it! They sent me an email with my certificate and wallet card, which was great. However, they did mention that due to Covid, the delivery of the wallet card might be delayed. I was patient and waited for 10 days, but unfortunately, it didn't arrive. I was a bit disappointed, but I understand that these are tough times.

After 15 days, I still hadn't received my wallet card, so I decided to reach out to them on social media. I sent them a message, but to my surprise, they didn't reply. I was a bit frustrated because they had sent me an email asking me to like/follow them on social media, but they weren't responding to my messages. I mean, why would I follow you if you don't reply, right?

Overall, I'm happy with the certification process and the exam itself. However, I do wish that they were more responsive on social media. It would be great if they could provide an explanation for the delay in the delivery of the wallet card. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.

National CPR Foundation Disappointing Experience with NationalCPRFoundation: Flimsy Certificate and Missing PVC Card

I recently tried to get my CPR certification from NationalCPRFoundation and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with the experience. The certificate they sent me was just a flimsy piece of paper that I don't think would be accepted anywhere. And to make matters worse, they promised to send me a PVC wallet card but it never arrived. When I reached out to them about it, they said they had just dispatched it, but it's been 13 days and I still haven't received it.

Honestly, I'm starting to wonder if this company is even legitimate. Do they have a trade license? Or are they just a scam fake illegal company? I'm so frustrated with the whole experience that I'm considering reporting them to the FTC to find out their legitimate status.

Overall, I would not recommend NationalCPRFoundation to anyone looking to get certified. Save yourself the hassle and find a more reputable company to work with.

National CPR Foundation I am unable to contact National CPR Foundation

I am unable to contact National CPR Foundation. The contact page on the website does no work, and there is no response when calling. On September 26, I completed a First Aid course. A Plastic card is supposed to be shipped and delivered in 1-2 weeks. After not receiving it for 1 month, I went on the website (https://www.nationalcprfoundation.com/support/) to try to resolve the issue there. However, I received an error. I tried multiple times on different devices, but I got the same error. I then called their phone number multiple times, but there was no response.

National CPR Foundation I paid for the class and tested but have not received my certification or refund

I paid for the class and tested but have not received my certification or refund. Also, I have not been able to contact any rep for the company. I submitted payment for the CPR class online Jan 22nd 2020, and took the class and tested the same day. I have not received the certification via email or hard copy mail to date. When I attempted to print online, I got an error message, several times. I managed to locate a phone number for the company but when I called, there was no voicemail, and no answer. I need this for work. If they cannot fulfill their commitment, I would like a refund so I can go to a reputable company.I can no longer delay this issue. Their customer service leave a lot to be desired.

National CPR Foundation The National CPR Foundation's website is misleading

The National CPR Foundation's website is misleading. The first aid courses do not meet OSHA, Defense, or Government standards. Upon looking at the National CPR Foundation's website I believed that the certifications the National CPR Foundation offered would meet the requirements needed to complete a Coast Guard license application. After completing a simple ten question test i found out I had passed. I expected more and more difficult questions. Because of the limited questions and the extremely easy nature of the test I became skeptical, I still went through and payed for my course which was a mistake. I still had questions about the veracity of the test and upon further research found out that indeed the implied claims of a valid OSHA approved certificate and an implied affiliation with The American Heart Association was untrue and based on information defining acceptable test on the OSHA's website. here is a link to that page. *** I admit I was all to ready to get an easy certification online, and without doing my due diligence I purchased the Class and Test for $14.95. I have looked for information on how to get a refund for a product I feel was badly misrepresented. I have included a picture of my billing statement. These are hard times for everyone. We shouldn't have to deal with things like this.
