I made contact with this company and sent them a BCM from my truck for repair. After a short email saying that it was not able to be repaired and I would need to spend additional money to get a reconditioned module I declined and asked that my part be sent back. The company responded with an email saying i was making a bad situation worse and I should have the repair done immediately. I declined again and requested my part back. I have inquired about a status 5 times since and have heard nothing back from the company. I called and spoke to a service representative that took my contact information and guaranteed a manager would respond to me. I have heard nothing and still have a vehicle that is not operational . Very disgusted with every aspect of this companies conduct.

Started transaction process 24 AUG by paying $164 diagnosis fee. 09 NOV 249.99 was payed to Module Experts for a part/service. Was promised tracking information/updates thru email after 3-5 business days. Made several attempts to get tracking/information. Made calls (10/18, 11/3, & 11/8) with promises that shipping manager would provide info. Disputed charge for non-delivery 09 NOV. Item did not arrive until 1st week of DEC when it was returned via USPS. Retailer has since recieved item and reversed the charge dispute with customers bank, charging customer for item not in possession, and not compensating for return delivery charges.

I sent in an engine control module for repair . Miss fire cylinder number 3 . The coil driver was bad which is a somewhat common occurrence. They repaired the coil driver for cylinder number 3 and returned the ecu to me . After installing the engine ecu the check engine light came on with a code for misfire on cylinder number 2. I sent the ecu back to module experts and they then informed me that the ecu was no non repairable. I called trying to get the contact to work with me on a replacement. I was told they would just refund the $159.00. But now I need a $2200.00 new ecu and they do not want to do anything to help with the computer that they repaired into a non repairable unit. manager told me that I missed diagnosed the problem but the paper sent by me and confirmed by them that it was indeed cylinder number 3 that was the initial problem

Nationwide Parts Distributors I called Module Experts of Jacksonville, FL on the 25th of August and requested a quote to repair my Ford ECU

I called Module Experts of Jacksonville, FL on the 25th of August and requested a quote to repair my Ford ECU. Talked to *** Price and shipping cost were acceptable so I gave AdanE my credit card number and was charged $164.00. I was sent instructions and a repair order form by email. I filled out the from with the requested information and shipped ecu with next day delivery. It was delivered to Module Experts August 27. Never received email that part had arrived as promised. I started calling and emailing Module experts on August 30 to see if they had got my part and no one would answer or return emails. Then I found the Complaintsboard.com site and read were Module Experts had over 150 complaints of ,"bait and switch" and telling customer their part was bad and there would be extra charges etc. I again emailed them and called repeatedly with no answer. September 1 ,I got someone to answer the phone and told them NOT to do anything to my ECU, just ship it back. She was very rude and hung up on me

on or about nov 3 i contacted module experts to repair my scion pcm, i was instructed by someone named mark to pay first ($175) then send in pcm (i had to pay shipping) after @ 10 days i contacted them (they had not contacted me ) i was told pcm was unrepairable and they could provide replacement for $600 less the $175 already paid, i agreed and paid them @$455 more on or about nov 15, was told id recieve an email reciept and tracking number, iv recieved neither and have not been able to get mark to call back or answer the phone, after reading through some of the 174 complaints registered against this co. it seems many people recieved the exact same story, cant be repaired, we have replacement for xxxx$ more, then little if any contact,...this place is a scam, a repetitive scam, how are they allowed to keep robbing people

Nationwide Parts Distributors Original transaction was placed on April 22 for 253.99 for diagnosis and repair of my bmw module

Original transaction was placed on April 22 for 253.99 for diagnosis and repair of my bmw module. I was informed on March 11 that my module was not repairable and for an additional $760 they would provide me with a fully cloned replacement within 3-5 business days. The same day on March 11th i paid them an additional $760 and was told to allow 3-5 business days and they would email me a tracking number. I waited 5 business days on March 18th i then called customer support to be told they had issues and that it would be 3-5 more business days i waited another 5 business days and called again on March 25th and was told I would receive a call back the same day by the technician. I did not receive a call back. I then tried calling the following day on March 26th and my phone calls were not answered. I waited till today March 29th and called customer support and be told the same story. I asked to speak with someone instead and they ended the phone call and have rejected my phone calls.

on 9/16 I received an email from *** E at module experts that my module was beyond repair. He explained that they could provide a fully programmed replacement module, fully cloned to the KEY'S, VIN, Security, mileages and Vehicle options for 999.00 minus my initial repair costs of 169.00 leaving me owing 849.00 I confirmed in the emails that this would be it plug it in and its ready to go. I purchased the module and when i installed it my car would not start it had a security code. Module experts verified the code and said I needed to have my keys programmed for the security system. This was advertised to me as being fully programmed and should have been done since I paid for that service. since then no one will call me or respond to my emails after I expressed that I wasn't happy. I was also informed that they could not program security systems or the keys as advertised.

Nationwide Parts Distributors On January 11 I contacted **** at Module Experts about a module problem, he had me send it to him for a check and reprogram

On January 11 I contacted *** at Module Experts about a module problem, he had me send it to him for a check and reprogram. ($164.00) *** contacted me at a later date to tell me Module was no good. For an $499.00 he would get another Module and reprogram. Life time warranty after that. February 19th. I received Module back. I had to pay a locksmith $125.00 to program keys to Module. Module would no communicate, no good. I sent it back on April 28 for warranted work. Every time I call ***, he hangs up on me. Every time I call customer service, they tell me it is in shipping and going out the next day. Now, 3 week later, they are telling me this Module is no good and they can't find another one for me. I just want this Module fixed and returned. I also gave them the info where there is another one that they can get and program. I need this Module to finish this car. We are going into the 6 month mark. I have paid the shipping all 3 times. I'll take Module or all cash back.

My dispute is like most of the 79 complants they have this year. On may 14 i went to *** and filled out the form to see how much to fix my car abs module. The next day i got a reply "We offer repair services for this at only $239.00 + return shipping. " first email I received from the seller. I called the number in email as instructed to pay before I send it in and confirmed that for $239 + return shipping it would be fixed and have a lifetime warranty, they said yes it will be $15 for return shipping a total of $253.99, i also confirmed that all i would have to do is plug it in and it will work and they said "YES" nothing else would be needed. I paid and sent it in, than they tell me they can not fix it and to pay them more for a new part, i said no because they wanted over 2x what a new one on ebay cost and ask them to just send it back with a refund. They refused to give refund. i opened a dispute with cc and than they ended up refunding 29%

I contacted Nationwide Parts Wholesalers about repairing 2008 Saab ECM unit and they said they could do it for $283.99. I paid them in advance by credit card and mailed my ECM into them, then a week later I got an email stating, "Diagnostics are completed on the Saab 9-3 module, and this unit is beyond repair...We can provide a remanufactured replacement, fully clone programmed to the KEYS, VIN, security, mileage, and vehicle options, plug and play ready to go and with a lifetime warranty, at $899.00 (minus the repair cost), so we would need an additional $660." I declined and they say they will charge me $45.00 to ship my ECM back along with a non-refundable Diagnostic Evaluation Service (DES) fee of $150.

I sent my ECM to Module Experts to have diagnostics done to it. I was informed that it could not be repaired by them. I then specifically asked that I would still like the ECM sent back to me even if it was beyond their repair. The company said they have sent the module back around two weeks ago. I have not received any more information and I have not received a tracking number for my ECM.

Spoke to them on phone and mailed my non-functioning control module to them. When a week passed, I called and they said that key and ignition modules was also needed. This was never mentioned. I sent it to them the next day. They told me module was not fixable but, they had a new one in stock which I bought. So so far $1500 spent. The parts were sent back to me with no packing slip, loose in a box. I gave the parts to my mechanic (who noted the module looks like the old one). He was not able to get the module to do anything. Car then taken to Mercedes dealership in Macon and they also found module to be completely non-functioning. I would like a refund of complete amount spent as i have no confidence in this firm. They have not responded to my emails so far.

Nationwide Parts Distributors August 18th I requested information about their services and how to go about having my ECU diagnosed and rebuilt

August 18th I requested information about their services and how to go about having my ECU diagnosed and rebuilt. On this same day I paid $150 (non-refundable) for Diagnostic Evaluation Service, $72.32 for a rebuilt ECU and lifetime warranty, $16.67 service charge plus $15 shipping and handling. On Aug. 25th I was informed by ***. that my ECU could not be fixed and I would need to send them $660 dollars for a cloned part for my vehicle. I responded by requesting my original part and monies owed to me for a rebuilt part that I would not be receiving. He replied by asking me why I wanted my part back and I explained to him there were some concerns about why my part couldn't be fixed and that I just wanted it returned so I could go down a different avenue. He told me I was making a huge mistake and I would see the people telling me to buy a used part standing around with a dumb look on their face when they see they were wrong. That was his last email to me. 9/3 I asked again for my prt

Nationwide Parts Distributors i sent a car computer to these people for repair , They told me it was too bad to fix and could clone me another for an additional $749

i sent a car computer to these people for repair , They told me it was too bad to fix and could clone me another for an additional $749. their sales points were as follows " We can provide a remanufactured replacement, fully clone-programmed to the KEYS, VIN, security, mileage, and vehicle options, and with a lifetime warranty, at $899.00 (minus the repair cost), so we would need an additional $749. This would take about 4-5 business days, and it would come fully clone-programmed and install ready. No dealer required. putting the vin in the module was a key sales point to me he had told me that on phone earlier, So i agreed to the full repair and it took much longer then expected they charged it to my card on october 26, got the module back 11/6 put it in car and it was exactly as it was when i sent it in, i called and was told tech support would call me back, that was last time i got to talk to a live person there , no one would talk to me just leave me on hold, trying to get my money back thru my card company but they are contesting that and still not talking to me, everyone should know do not deal with these people they are not honest!

Nationwide Parts Distributors On 8/7 I shipped Modular Experts/ Nationwide Parts Distributor a PCM (Programable Control Module) for diagnostics and paid $191.91

On 8/7 I shipped Modular Experts/ Nationwide Parts Distributor a PCM (Programable Control Module) for diagnostics and paid $191.91. On 8/19 I was notified that the PCM was not repairable and that I could purchase a reconditioned one for an additional $600.92. which I immediately paid over the phone by C.C. On 8/25 I spoke with *** and advised him that this truck had a performance chip ( Banks) and that if I removed the protective tamper tape i would ruin any warrantee. He advised me to return the PCM with the performance chip and pay an additional $150.00 and they would install the performance chip and honor the warrantee. some time later, I received the PCM and the mechanic installed it. However, The truck ran sluggish. Upon furthur inspection, the performance chip was not installed by Modular Experts/ Nationwide Parts Distributor. On 10/5 I spoke with *** who advised me to ship the PCM back and they would install the chip and ship it back. Today its 10/26 and I keep getting the runaround. I was just told by *** that my account was locked out and that no information is available. She will forward my concerns to management but could not tell me how long I should wait for a response or if there would be any followup. Now I am out almost $1000.00 dollars and they have my $600.00 performance chip!

I sent in a tcm for repair and the salesman that I put the order in with contacted me saying that the unit was not any good and that they would sell me one for $499 minus the $164 that I had already paid. I can't afford that much so he wanted me to tell him how close that I could get so I said $80 more or you can just send me the old one back. He then messaged me saying lol we will send you your junk! The module that I sent couldn't have been as bad as he said because it would shift into every gear except for 1st gear and it would work but my rpms had to be 2000 plus. I understand that it's a business but I don't appreciate the smart emails and I feel like the whole thing is just a scam to get easy money from hard working people in distress trying to get their car back on the road. I think that someone needs to look into this business really well because I felt like my unit was repairable and they just wanted me to send them more money and they were going to fix my unit and send it back! I've read some of the complaints about this business yesterday and if I had known that I wouldn't have sent my unit to them, because they're advertising that they are A+ Complaintsboard.com certified business in which I find very misleading especially when a hardworking American citizen like myself spends their money just to get taken advantage of! The representative that I dealt with was ***.

Nationwide Parts Distributors Moduel Experts of Jacksonville Florida also known as Nationwide Parts Distributors Inc

Moduel Experts of Jacksonville Florida also known as Nationwide Parts Distributors Inc. I sent them my ECM with $239 for diagnosis they claimed it was not able to be repaired and had to be replaced. For an additional $1161 they had them in stock and would send a tracking number in 3 to 5 business days. I authorized the additional charge but in 6 business days there was no tracking number I called the customer support to get an update and got attitude from the girl and no update. I the Emailed *** the salesman and got the same excuse filled attitude with no update on where my ECM or my now $1400 are. I then waited and additional 2 days emaild *** to return my money and my old ECM then turned them into the fraud division of my bank. I got my money back but not my old ECM which is needed for a core. 12/6 the supposed rebuilt ECM showed up at my door step I was never sent a tracking number and had already ordered another ECM from another company having to pay additional money to cover the core charge. I decided to install the ECM from moduel experts fallowing the procedure to perfection got 50 miles on a test drive and the supposed rebuilt ECM goes out doing the exact same problem. I have now seen hundreds of the same complaints against this company my question now is how are they able to still legally conduct business and flat out screw people out of thousands of dollars.

Nationwide Parts Distributors Spoke with *** on phone about rebuilding computer in my vehicle paid him 255.00 times have computer rebuilt

Spoke with *** on phone about rebuilding computer in my vehicle paid him 255.00 times have computer rebuilt. Sent to computer to Jacksonville and *** contacted me the next day and said computer main board was damaged and could not be repaired but they would sell me another one for 1300.00 dollars. I refused and he returned the computer. I asked for a refund since company did not complete the work they were supposed to perform which was rebuild the computer. The vehicle runs with the computer in the vehicle and corvette shop said if main board damaged car would not run. I had to file a complaint with my credit card company because *** stopped responding to emails in reference to a refund and finally he refunded around 77.00 dollars of my money back and his company kept the remainder of the 255.00 dollars for testing the computer and shipping. The 178.00 this company kept is not the issue. The issue is the way ***. Scams you out of your money. All of the reviews on the Complaintsboard.com site and other sites prove that this is the type practice this company does on a regular basis. I am not but three hours away from Jacksonville and I am considering filing in small claims court for the 178.00 dollars because I have printed out enough evidence to prove my case against ***. And this company. All I want is my money that this company took that they had no right to since they did not complete the job we agreed on.

Nationwide Parts Distributors Order for 2011 Saab Sedan 9-3 Turbo: Status of Original and Cloned ECUs

I placed an order for my 2011 Saab Sedan 9-3 Turbo and I'm inquiring about the whereabouts of my original Engine Control Unit (ECU) and its cloned counterpart. The expected turnaround time was 24-48 hours. The part was sent to Nationwide Parts Distributors on December 17. They confirmed receipt of the original ECU and it's currently in processing. The repair shop that sent it to Nationwide Parts Distributors, a company they've used before, has been unable to provide any further updates, replies, emails, or a tracking number after two weeks. As the vehicle owner, I urgently require either the new cloned ECU for the repair shop to complete the repairs or the return of my original unit. The lack of transportation is causing significant inconvenience. Despite alarming reviews about Nationwide Parts Distributors, I'm reluctant to pursue legal action but will if necessary. The tracking number provided for my original ECU shipment to Nationwide Parts Distributors has not been helpful. My initial trust in the repair service was based on their positive past experiences with Nationwide Parts Distributors. Without the ECU or its replacement, my Saab remains inoperable.

Nationwide Parts Distributors I contacted this company around January 15th and inquired about their services

I contacted this company around January 15th and inquired about their services. Im my case, I had a car's computer that failed. *** replied on January 17th and said the following, "We offer repair services for this at only $149.00 + return shipping. This includes the Diagnostic Evaluation Service, the repair, and includes a lifetime warranty. Our turnaround time on a repair is generally only 3 business days, and it does NOT require any programming by you because we keep all your original programming stored on the unit" This sounded great to me and I was very excited. I called *** shortly after, paid $170 with my credit card, and then paid an addition $60 to ship the computer to them to begin work. After tracking it online and seeing that it was delivered (on Tuesday Feb. 9th) I never heard a word back from the company. I was initially quoted a turn-around time of 3 days (since the car is broken without this computer, it is important) I am generally pretty patient, so after not hearing anything in over a week, I gave them a call on 2/16. Customer service told me that *** sent me an email on the 11th saying the BCM was deemed "unrepairable". I informed them that I had not received it, and asked for a copy so that I could figure out what steps to take. A few more days went by, and I still heard nothing from them. I have called them at least three additional times, sent four emails and have heard absolutely nothing. they took my money and my BCM and have not refunded anything (minus a diagnostic fee) or shipped my unit back to me.

Nationwide Parts Distributors I contacted AES Modules, aka National Parts Distributors, and talked with ***

I contacted AES Modules, aka National Parts Distributors, and talked with ***.He assured me they could fix the problem with my stiff power steering in my 2002 Thunderbird.Yuo have to pre pay for the repair and the shipping. The module got to them in one day. After 1 week I called and asked if the had gotten it.After a slight wait the person that answered my call said they are working on it.I called the next week since I didn't hear from them and they checked and said it was unrepairable.I had given them the DTC that the car put out so they should have know what to look for.% more days went by and I had to call them to send my module back.Another 5 days and I finally got it.It is a next day delivery for UPS from Jacksonville to Palm Coast.I heard about another company that repairs these modules,ModuleMasters.I talked with them and you send them the module and you don't pay until it's repaired. If they can't fix it there is no charge. They told me that AES sends the modules out to be fixed and sometimes to Module Masters.I sent my module to Module Masters in Idaho. They got it on monday afternoon.Wednesday they called me and said it was repaired and on it's way to me.This is the module that AES said could not be fixed.I installed the module and the power steering works like new.I have not recieved any money back. They obviously didn't try to repair it.It's too bad that I didn't see some of the sites that had their terrible reviews.Everyone has had the same experience that I have and no money returned.Something should be done to stop this company from stealing customers money.

Nationwide Parts Distributors On Dec 10 **** from Module Experts(National Parts) gave me a quote of 149$ to repair my Nissan Murano computer

On Dec 10 *** from Module Experts(National Parts) gave me a quote of 149$ to repair my Nissan Murano computer. I sent it in and received a email that said the module I sent in was not repairable that I needed a new one. He provided a contract by email that stated they would get a refurbished module and clone mine, it would arrive plug and play no dealer required. I paid by credit card and the payment said National Parts. I sent the Module in it arrived back I installed it and it didnt work. It coded 1610 Nissan Lockout and 640 bad computer. I contacted Module Experts and had several emails from a Tech7405. He said send it back and we will look at it.. I asked what the turn around would be as Im already a month down time. He said when it arrived I would be 3 day turn around. I had to pay shipping back to them and after sending the module back I didnt hear from them for weeks. I called and only was allowed to speak to the front desk. *** said the module they sent was bad and 3 more they tried were bad and they were waiting on one to arrive. after a month 1 received the module back installed it and the car didnt run. It coded 1610 Nissan Lockout code. I spoke to Nissan and they said no one can get around there security. I had to have it towed to Nissan 145$ Nissan charge 300$ to unlock the module. I emailed Module experts with no return mail. I went through my Credit card company to get the money but Module experts said the module arrived in working order even after I provided the Nissan bill. by just provided mail tracking on the module the credit company wouldnt help me.

Nationwide Parts Distributors I contacted them about having my 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee ECM repaired

I contacted them about having my 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee ECM repaired. After speaking with *** he informed me that could repair it. I filled out the requested paper work and sent it all in to them. After not hearing a thing from them for two a half weeks I called ***. At that point he told me my PCM couldn't be repaired due to what model it was ( which I had provide as well as the VIN number, he should have be able to tell me prior to even sending it in, that they couldn't do it) regardless he said they could sale me a remanufactured one with lifetime warranty. I agreeed and at this point by the time I received it , it had been three weeks. Had it installed and it wouldn't work. My locksmith and mechanic both greed that it was the Still the bad ECM showing the same codes as the prior ECM. I contacted *** to request a refund he said they don't do refunds that I could send the ECM back to them to have it reprogrammed which I did. After receiving the ECM back for the second time installing it my mechanic and locksmith once again found that the computer would not speak to the car thus the ECM still had the same exact error codes. At this point my mechanic told me to invest in a junkyard ECM which I purchased for $50 had them install It solved all of the problems. Again contacted *** told him of the developments requested a refund once again that ECM that they had sent me still had not worked and that I wanted a refund got no reply. At that point I had been dealing with them for the better part of two months. At this point I am into them for over $500 and still had no working ECM This company is a sham and the complaintsboard.com is doing nothing to prevent them from continuing their sham. To this day they owe me $513.99 for a product that fails to work they did not repair rebuild or reprogram or give me a working ECM.

Nationwide Parts Distributors September 21 we initiated a transaction with Module Experts (AKA National Parts Wholesalers) to have an ECM reprogrammed in a 2011 Subaru

September 21 we initiated a transaction with Module Experts (AKA National Parts Wholesalers) to have an ECM reprogrammed in a 2011 Subaru Outback. Payment for reprogramming was made in the amount of 193.41 on September 21 via credit card. We mailed off the non-working module. Once the module was received by Module Experts they contacted us indicating that the ECM unit we sent was not programmable because it was a dead unit and gave us the option to purchase a working ECM with transfered vehicle information making it compatible with a 2011 Outback. We paid an additional 321.42. Once returned to us it was installed in the customer's vehicle. Upon installation the vehicle threw a P1571 code indicating an "Incompatible Reference" Code. The vehicle would not start. I reached out to them on 4 different occasions via phone being told twice that they would have a technician call me back. The other two occasions resulted in leaving a message with no return call. There was also an email sent to a man by the name of Chris as per the instruction on the order confirmation form we received from the Module Experts when we initially placed the order. There was no reply to any of the emails or the phone calls. In the interim we have had to send the customer's vehicle, which has been down for months, off to a dealership because they were becoming irate as to the length of time that had lapsed since drop off. I called again, today, November 4 and was told that they only had verification of one phone call having transpired October 22,2021 and they would now escalate it to a manager and a senior technician. I was not allowed to hold and speak to a supervisor and I was not provided with a direct number. I was told to await a call yet again. I did inform the customer service representative that I would wait for the phone call and would also be contacting the complaintsboard.com due to their previous lack of attention to the matter.

Nationwide Parts Distributors Wat*h out for these guys they are a horrible bait and swit*h operation and apparently they are a low te*h operation

Wat*h out for these guys they are a horrible bait and swit*h operation and apparently they are a low te*h operation. The normal folks we send EMs to out in Idaho said they were not able to deal with a VIN lo*ked EM, at least they were honest! So after *alling Module Experts and telling them we had a Mer*edes *240 EM whi*h was water damaged they said "No Problem," send it on down and we will rebuild for ~$260, just make the payment and we will email you a shipping label. Two weeks later a follow-up *all yielded some s*urrying about, and an explanation that the module *ould not be rebuilt but if we sent them the ignition swit*h off the *ar they would *lone the VIN lo*ked software to a used module. Now we understand why all over their do*umentation they state that diagnosis is nonrefundable and that to dispute their *harges all *osts would be ours. So for an additional ~$600, bringing the total to $860 we shipped them the ignition swit*h, Another two weeks go by and no module, so we *alled and they said they meant to *all us and the firmware on the original module was so messed up that it *ould not be *loned onto a new module. BUT they were happy to refund the *lone *harge of $600, leaving us out only a *ouple hundred bu*ks for their la*k of diagnosis *apability and we had a very anxious *ustomer. My lead bozo was ***. but *onversations with him were about as useful as *** on a bull. So we did some snarfelling around and found Presserte*h out of Smyrna, Ga (s*[protected]@presserte*h.*om) a small *ompany (15-20 people). One *all to them yielded fantastiresults. They said with water damage it was not reliable to rebuild this EM, however, if we send them our EM they will *lone it onto a new platform. I explained what I had been through with Module Experts and they said no problem that they have found very few that they *an't deal with and implied this was not the first time they had heard of these *lowns in Ja*ksonville. The best reassuran*e was they don't bill us until they were ready to mail it ba*k with *loning *omplete. Three days after Presserte*h re*eived the module they *alled and said to pay us $600 and it will be shipped that day. No sending the ignition swit*h, no hassle, and great servi*e from Presserte*h saved my day and kept my *ustomer happy. Module Experts may be okay at domestisimple modules but I will never use them again, and *ertainly, I would not re*ommend them for European or any vehi*le with VIN lo*ked modules. With Module Experts being a division of Nationwide Parts, they don't have the same relationship with their *ustomers and are a typi*al evil empire big *ompany, so with respe*t to them, I will take Monty Pythons advi*e and run and hide

Nationwide Parts Distributors On November 11 I contacted **** at module experts to inquire about the warranty concerning a Remanufactured EPM I had recently purchased from

On November 11 I contacted *** at module experts to inquire about the warranty concerning a Remanufactured EPM I had recently purchased from them in June. I was experiencing the same problem with the replacement unit, over charging the battery's, that the original ECM had been diagnosed with. The built in voltage regulator was calling for the alternator to charge the battery when it should not and putting out to many volts. That was a short conversation as I was yelled at and hung up on; however, I was told it was covered. I called back and spoke to *** and got the warrenty order number 2121911 and the claim form emailed to me. I sent the ECM to them the following week of November 16th with the claim form. They proceeded to return it by the end of the week to northern Ia (4 hours from my requested return address) my son went and got it and brought it back Thankgiving weekend. That's when I discovered they had done nothing and requested additional diognostic paper work and the receipt from the shop that installed it. Why? I gathered that information and return it again around the first week of December and followed up with a phone call to *** when I saw by the tracking number they had received it. She told my that was not enough information and the needed to talk to my machanic so I had Mototheads contact Module Experts. They did and also sent emailed information that the technician had requested. I called them the week of the December 14 and was told it was not covered by warrenty and they needed more information and Motorheads was aware of what the needed. The tech said the part was being sent back to Motorheads. I waited a week but no part. I called again to get tracking information and was told the ECM had not been sent out, but would go out that day to my address. I asked for tracking information to be emailed to and was told yes it would be emailed to me and verified my email address. That did not happen either and no ECM. On January 11 I sent an email requesting the tracking. No response. On January 14 still no ECM and I sent an email requesting my money back $1399.00 since they had not returned my ECM. I followed up with another call the week of the 1/16 and was told a request for refund was sent to the "manager" and it could only be refunded to my original card. I told them that bank card had been hacked and replaced. She told me to check with my bank. I did and even though it had been canceled refunds still go through. Again a called ***, now January 24th, and told a request had been forwarded and she would message the manager. I requested to talk to the manager but told no one else was there. When I tried to call February 8 they had blocked my number , so I had my wife call. *** told her the ECM had been recycled because this order was from June And over 90days old and we were not do a refund. When my wife objected she was told to contact a lawyer or the complaintsboard.com "do what ever you have to do" and hung up on. Then they blocked her number as well. I need my money back from this sham of a company. They have jerked around and stolen my part and my money because this was under warranty.
