This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I was owed $78, 000.00 for over 5 years.
Finally, it was paid into my password protected account, but I did not know it had been put in.
11 days later it was removed by the person who owed it, from my account.
My account is password protected. It only has my name on it. It was ear-marked for identity theft.
Nfcu allowed the person who finally paid me to take it back out!
I spent 60k with lawyers and lost.
Nfcu needs to be held responsible for stealing my money!
I have a letter from sheila albin, ncu assoc general counsel who said it is legal! How can this be?
I hope nfcu is one of the banks that dry up for its unscrupulous behavior!
My account shows the money in and the money out! I have court papers saying it was owed me.
However, I ran out of money to fight for it. My lawyers could not compete with nevada lawyers who were actually being indicted for income tax fraud while it was going on!
I am at poverty level.
Nfcu should be held responsible for robbing my account of money put in.
It is like when a renter deposits into landlord's account rent money.
Renter may not remove said money eleven days later and say it is in the "wrong account" or everyone would do this with their bills!
Where should I turn? I have all the nfcu phone calls on my cell phone since last october! I want these people to own up!

I'm a little confused... did the person fraudulently access your account and transfer it out?

Or did the person's institution recall the wire transfer or check that had been placed into the account?

Interestingly, I had a similar issue. I had sent an electronic check from my local bank to Navy Federal Credit Union (our military account since 1993-we have several accounts) on which I typed for deposit only and the account number that I wanted it placed in. When this check did not show up for a couple of weeks, I checked all my accounts including a dormant account because my deposits had been placed in incorrect accounts in the past. The check had been deposited into this dormant account. When I inquired, I was told that they had a picture of the check and someone in their mail remittance department had scratched off the electronically typed information and had put the account number of the dormant account and had it deposited there. I was told by a supervisor that . . . "may she thought that was where you really wanted it to go . . ." You have got to be kidding. Now employees are interpreting what they think you really intend to do with your funds? Or is this an opportunity to move funds in and out of dormant accounts? I think I'll take this one to the media . . .

Sounds like the person's check bounced is all it was. They didn't jsut remove the money from the account themselves. The check had to have bounced and that is why you see it going in and then going out. Bounced check. Sorry.

My wife took $70K from our retirement account and purchased a CD. She made it Payable on Death to our grandchild without my knowledge. NFCU didn't require her to get my approval of the assignment of the money to the POD. She then died of a heart this past March and about 1/3 of my retirement portfolio is now gone and the guardian of the child won't return the money.
