NESN: The Ultimate Website for Sports Fans - A Review
But one thing I do know is that NESN is a great website for sports fans. They have all the latest news and updates on all the major sports leagues like the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL. You can also find articles on college sports and other lesser-known sports like soccer and lacrosse.
The website is easy to navigate and has a clean layout. You can quickly find what you're looking for with their search bar or by browsing through their different categories. They also have a section for videos where you can watch highlights and interviews with players and coaches.
One thing I really like about NESN is their live game coverage. They have live streams for many of the games so you can watch them from anywhere. They also have a feature where you can set reminders for upcoming games so you don't miss them.
Another great feature of NESN is their fantasy sports section. You can create your own fantasy team and compete against others for prizes. They have different leagues for different sports and skill levels so anyone can participate.
Overall, I highly recommend NESN for any sports fan. They have everything you need to stay up to date on your favorite teams and players. Whether you're a casual fan or a die-hard, NESN has something for everyone.
NESN's Website: A Frustrating Hassle for Sports Fans
I gotta say, NESN's website is a bit of a hassle. It seems like every time I wanna watch a game, I gotta sign in and out a bunch of times. And don't even get me started on the site navigation - it's a real pain in the butt. I've tried reaching out to customer service for help, but they haven't been much help at all. It's like they don't even know what they're doing. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience on NESN's website. They really need to step up their game if they wanna keep their customers happy.
NESN's App Pricing is Unfair to Fans: A Review
I gotta say, I'm not too happy with NESN's app. I mean, come on, $34.99 just to watch Bruins hockey? That's a bit much, don't you think? I've seen other apps that are only $12-15.99 a month, and they offer way more than just one team's games. It's like John Henry and the NESN crew are just trying to rip off their fans with these prices. I mean, we're the ones who keep them in business, right? So why charge us so much for a mediocre app? It's just not fair. I think they need to rethink their pricing strategy and give us fans a break. We deserve better than this.
Sports Website Review: Great Content, but Beware of Ads and Sketchy Sign-Up Requirements
This website is pretty good, but there are a lot of ads. Like, seriously, there are ads everywhere you look. And some of them are kinda gross, if you know what I mean. Plus, now they're making you sign up for an account just to use some of the stuff on the site. I mean, I get that they want to know more about us, but it feels kinda creepy, you know?
Anyway, the stuff they have on here is pretty cool. They talk a lot about the Red Sox and the Bruins, which is awesome if you're a fan of those teams. But here's the thing: the people who own those teams also own this site. So, like, you know they're just trying to make money off of us, right? It's not like they really care about the fans or anything.
Overall, I'd say this site is worth checking out if you're into sports. Just be prepared for a lot of ads and some sketchy stuff with the account sign-up. But hey, at least you'll get some good content out of it.
D. Obrien: A Disappointing Announcer for the Boston Red Sox
I have been a fan of the Boston Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots, and Celtics for over 60 years. I have heard some of the best announcers in the game, but unfortunately, D. Obrien is not one of them. Every single game, he manages to ruin the experience for me. It's like he has a script that he repeats over and over again for three innings straight. It's incredibly frustrating to listen to.
Another thing that bothers me about D. Obrien is that he steals other announcers' catchphrases and uses them until they are completely worn out. It's like he has no originality or creativity of his own. And to make matters worse, he always manages to throw in unnecessary political jabs during the game. Sports should be a place where we can escape from politics, not be bombarded by it.
But what really gets me is that D. Obrien seems more interested in talking about the opposing team and other teams than the Red Sox batter that's at the plate. It's like he forgets which team he's supposed to be rooting for. I miss Don Orsillo so much, and I almost hate watching the games now because of D. Obrien.
When I was in New England, I could always turn the volume off and listen to Joe Castiglione on the radio. But unfortunately, that radio station doesn't play in Arizona where I live now. I have complained about D. Obrien over and over again, but it seems like nothing ever changes. It's like he just keeps on being an ahole.
As a loyal fan, RSN Founding member, and Monster member, I think it's time for a change. Maybe it's time for NESN to find a new announcer who actually cares about the Red Sox and their fans. Until then, I'll just have to suffer through D. Obrien's terrible commentary.
