I referred a home hunter who signed a lease more than a month back and I still haven't gotten any clear feedback confirming the commission. Now I am waiting to get a lease verification so I can send them my invoice and get compensated for my referral. Even though the commission company confirmed that I will get 100%, I still didn't get any reply to my countless emails and personal visits. What bothers me most is that this whole mess means I am owed a fee of 50%, which went up to 100% because of what they confirmed to me over the phone on April 29th, 2022. But the lease is starting this May 6th, 2022 and still no feedback. I might have to turn this whole thing over to an attorney if it's not solved asap. Why do these apartment managers pretend to work with referral agents and then just ignore them as soon as the lease is signed? Seriously, this isn't the way to do business!

Had several maintenance requests but nothing was done about them. Smoke detector battery was inaccessible and low for weeks, and it finally failed in the middle of the night. Couldn't reach smoke detector because it was on a high ceiling. Called the apartment number for after-hours maintenance, but they said it wasn't important and would only fix it the next morning. The loud beeping every ten seconds was bothering me, and I couldn't sleep. I explained the situation repeatedly but got dismissed every time. Tried calling back, but they blocked my number. Very frustrating experience.

On March 29, I got an email from the helper boss of The Avenues at Carrollton Kimberly Taylor. I was done with my lease with The Avenues at Carrollton on March 14. She sent me an email and told me that the carpet was busted up and it's more than my deposit by $500.00. She told me I gotta pay it real quick or it'll mess up my credit report real bad. My lease contract from June 30 section 38 said that I gotta clean everything before I leave, like doors, windows, furniture, bathrooms, kitchen stuff, patios, balconies, garages, carports, and storage rooms. She said if I don't clean good enough, I gotta pay for the cleaning, like when stuff is dirty worse than normal (like if you don't take care of it or do something on purpose). I think Noel Management should do what they said in the lease contract that I signed. They shouldn't make me pay for something that wasn't that bad before March 14, 2022.
