I bought a PC from them (Octagon Cagayan de Oro) last February and it runs good but then five months after the PC was slowly have problems. It came to the point where in the PC no longer boot. So I brought it to their store and and they run some test. After that they said that I have to used a power supply with bigger wattage and so I did bought one. The next day, the PC is back again which would not boot so again I brought to their store. This time they said they will test my Graphics Card and then they said it may be the cause of the problem. While I am not contended on what they say, I looked for ways to test it with my own. I bought another Graphics card to test it. But still the problem was never resolve. Finally they said, they will ship the motherboard to Manila to replace it as they say. From the time of the problem till the time they said they will ship it to their main office was almost a month. And so, I let them brought the motherboard to their main office to replace it. They said they will call me if it will arrive. They haven't gave me any service PC. One month and half later, the package arrived. When I got there they said that they have to send it back to Manila because the box is correct with the wrong Motherboard model. I was really pissed at that time. That was really a negligence of those whoever packed that box. Till Now they haven't gave me back my motherboard. What a shame on them, a big company with a zero customer service attitude.
well in my case im not a regular customer of octagon but in my point of view the staff are ok. i did not experience any problem when i bought my pc in octagon computer in cagayan de oro...
Octagon computer is the same with the other computer shops in Cagayan de Oro. ZERO customer service.. Too bad they call it octagon. they cant even give a hand to the customers. Octagon Sucks.
my neo 531 laptop which is covered with warranty was checked by octagon personnel then found out that the LCD need to be replace. I thought they will replace the said parts free but unfortunately the they are asking 15k for LCD and only the services is free. In my case i am also working in mitsubishi as warranty personnel where only the consumable parts is charge to the customer like engine oils. i dont believe LCD is a consumable parts that need to be raplace every how many hours.
May i suggest that once the unit is covered to warranty and with carefully examine. they should replace the parts or the item as soon as possible.
im working in octagon manila, here in manila replacing of parts is not a big deal, if its under warranty, we assured max of 5 working days we replaced the defective parts. and if the item will took so long, we offer service unit. eventhough im working at octagon, i dont tolerate them, give them a punishment. talk to the supervisor and demand what is right for a customer, if they not, write or call at DTI. they will advise you what you gonna do in legal aspect. if i were you, i demand for a refund. or call at octagon main office at manila then report that stupid supervisor...

I also have a bad experience when i visited OCTAGON Computer store LIMKETKAI MALL in Cagayan de Oro City last November ... the store has a lot people and the sales man are busy at that time so i look around check out the laptops then this fat ugly security guard saw me looking at the laptop and start sales talk me to buying one. My budget is only 20 thousand pesos so i asked him if there is a cheaper laptop maybe a price of 20 thousand or below but he insulted me and giving me a bad attitude saying " Maam sa surplus ka dapat pumunta mga bago ang mga tinda namin dito. doon ka dapat pumunta sa american surplus sa labas ng mall. so walk out and being insulted by a security guard i cant forget his tag name in his uniform SG NAPULI i will never go near this store again. He is not doing hes duty guarding the store instead he acts like a sales man not only that hes rude person i dont know why they hired this kind of person.

not all but that chip big fat technician does not know the history of video card, i came there last jan. since octagon is a new name they came from culombia b4 but the owner expand then made octagon ... while the i am talking to the sale lady about "do u have an video card PCI or AGP because i have to replace my old computers video card" at that time the big fat techician is some wat repairing the laptop of the other costumer just talking aloud that PCI and AGP is not the same, whitout looking at me or maby excuse may do ... his rigth PCI is not the same with AGP but ... he did not know that i am a technician to " b4 the video card are PCI then after it became AGP then this time PCI-E, , , , ...i am looking for PCI or AGP video card, i am not that stupid puting PCI to AGP slot ... i really hate that big fat summing good technician who dont have MANNERS and like u said then cant not repair or even tell where is the damange of your motherbord and they sent it to manila what a joke

there is one thing i can tell you base on my experience in Octagon Iligan.
i have bought an Edifier speaker the warranty is only 5 months then when i used it it looks like the speaker is grounding so ive returned to them immediately. my concern is why they dont replace my speaker a new one they replaced it used speaker grrrrrrrrrrrrr... it's a pain in the ### peole i dont recommend this Establishment...
in Iligan I recommend Wizmaster Computer sales and services all their units and accesories is one year Warranty...;

IM agree with you big fff, im a technician too... the technician in octagon must undergo on assessment on National Certificate level II of Computer hardware servicing. it look's like they dont know every thing...i have a frend, he brought his pc their in octagon Iligan to troubleshoot his pc now the technician test the pc the error is boot failure... the technician immediately told my frend that the problem is the hard disk and must be replaced a new one hahahahahahaha what a business hahahaha then my frend refused to the decision of octagon and he brought the pc to me then i examined now i found out that the main problem is only corrupt partition and not the hardisk... what a pain in the ### all the octagon technician you must be shame on your doing...
Yep Octagon really sucks I asked if they have an available Quad Core Processor and they said that "There's still no available Quad Core Processor in Cagayan de Oro" even though I already inquired on other Computer shops and thery did have Quad Cores..

Hi, I am also a licensed Computer technician from tesda, it is very silly and laxity sometimes when computers parts will send to manila to repair. The company should be liable to fixed or replaced directly to the customer, with in a month. You can file a case.
FIrst of all, why would you post this complaint here when there is the Department of Trade and Industry to report you complaint to. If your PC is still within warranty, you can have it changed if you can prove that there is really a problem with the equipment.
Secondly, I''m a frequent customer there at octagon Cagayan de Oro and whenever i do have complaints, there do try their best to please me (or any other customer that i do recommend to their store).
Thirdly, please fix your grammar. You could have at least the decency to have your English checked before posting an exasperated complaint when there are supposedly other venues where you can make your complaint and be heard.

yeah sue octagon..they just keep on asking for service fee even under warranty...my friend bought a pc from them and then she asks to reformat the pc, since my friend doesn't know how to reformat, , they ask for 500p service fee and the most pissing part..they took one of the part of the pc..the usb ports located in front of the pc...another friend of mine bought a pc and the ram is stated 2gb but when she open and look at the ram its only 1gb..alot of my friends had the same feedbacks from octagon...damn them..this is in Octagon ozamiz. I bought an Acer lap top from Octagon in Feb of 2010. Everything was ok until I had to contact Acer for a recovery tool software. They asked me for my ser # and snid # which I gave them. Acer never heard of my pc and says Acer didn't make it. Now, just between you and me I am very suspecious and am thinking that maybe my unit is a clone made in China. I don't know for sure but I'm very suspecious.
I agreed on what the first customer said. I had an experienced same as him. I retuned my laptop 3x and it gave me some headaches. The only problem on my laptop is the screen, but when they returned it to me, battery was not charging anymore so gave it back, again again when they gave it to me there was another problem the cursor, so i returned it again then they advised me to buy harddisk to get my file and they will reformat ..now the laptop is ok...after how many headaches achieved...
my netbook NEO was 1 month expired from its warranty then the problem occured really bad because the operating system was not found or cant be detected, i bought it to OCTAGON-ozamiz city then they said that they dont have an available hard disk but if they have i have to pay, 3-5k then they said about the service center of NEO in CAGAYAN. so may i ask where is this service center of NEO in cagayan.
This problem is not supposedly be bigger and bigger. This problem is by the Computer Technician that he did not diagnose correctly and just replace in a wrong problem. Wrong diagnose makes wrong replacement of parts. Less experience in troubleshooting and guessing the problem this and that solution that did not diagnose correctly. This is very simple cannot bootup? Lots of Computer technician today that wrong diagnosing. If I am the Computer Technician and step by step diagnose. It takes 1 to 2 days and call back the owner about the problem. There are lots of ways on how to troubleshoot or diagnose Computer. If the problem persist. Call the customer and give him or her a a computer for service in order not to stop his or her work. This company should trained their Computer Technician and maintain its good servicing to their costumer.

Its customer support is nothing. Even website running on its server is not working.
Call its no +[protected] is switch off by 6 pm IST.
At the time of meony taking there are very prompt and will commit lot of services.
But all commitment is zero after they receive money.
I says 24x7 but even indian business hour hthey are not working.
and at any point of time they may change any technical information of server.
very much frustrating with this company.

The problem with my laptop is that, it immediately turns off without prompting that it is lowbatt and even if you had it fully charged before using it, it automatically turns off. So what i did, i brought it to their store, i told them my concerns with the unit and they said "talagang nalolobat yan maam". And they even asked me of a video proving that the unit wont show a notification that it is lowbatt even if they themselves already witnessed the said problem after running some tests. After a week (on October 18 to be exact), I had given them the video they were asking and they said the motherboard is the problem and they need to send my unit with their accredited service shop and i'll just wait for their text message after 30-40days if the unit is already fixed. After 42 days (November 28, 2015), i returned to the store and to my surprise, my unit is already fixed and yet they were not informing me for they were using it on their personal motives. AS i reviewed the receipt, i saw that the date that my unit was fixed was on October 22, 2015, just 4 days from the day i surrendered my unit. THe staff can't even answer my queries and the worst, they can still show you lack of respect to their customers. What a shame on Octagon Limketkai CDO Branch...
