Stay away from these fraudsters!!
There isn't a 0 star, otherwise would give them only that. This company is a total fraud. You will not get your chair at least for a month. When you get it, it will be broken. Talk to them to return it, and they will ask you to send photos as evidence. They take their own time in acknowledging your return merchandise. The issue is they don't seem to issue any refund though they send a PayPal screenshot that they had issued a refund. The catch is one can't dispute this transaction via the credit card company if the transaction is more than 45-60 days old. So you just lost all your money without receiving anything in return or with a product that is useless.
This company should be banned and the ownsers should be put behind bars for their fraudulent practices.
Recommendation: Stay away from this fraudulent company!!
Warning: Poor Shipping Practices and Unclear Processing Timelines from Office Chair @ Work
I bought a chair from Office Chair @ Work on August 4th and was told it would take 5-14 days to arrive. However, after 3 days, the order showed as "Complete" on my login page, but the UPS tracking number provided only showed that the label had been created and nothing else. I reached out to the company multiple times to find out when my chair would ship, but their responses were not helpful. They only gave me short, one-sentence answers that didn't fully answer my questions. One time they told me it would take 10-20 BUSINESS days to ship, and the next time they said I would receive it between September 1-10. It seems like they are confusing the order processing time with the shipping time. It's now been 5 weeks since I ordered and I still haven't received my chair or any indication that it has been shipped.
Yesterday, I emailed them to let them know that I hadn't received my order and requested that they ship the chair at their cost to be delivered by their committed date of September 10th. I also mentioned that if they didn't comply, I would file a dispute with my credit card company and leave a negative review. Their response was not what I expected. They said that they have a zero tolerance policy towards threats and decided to cancel my order and issue a refund. They were quick to take action, but who knows if they will actually deliver the refund.
Since they haven't been able to deliver the chair I ordered in the time they quoted, I have taken action and filed a dispute with my credit card company. I want to warn others about their unclear processing timelines and poor shipping practices. I don't make threats, but I will take action to protect myself, my money, and other consumers.
Disastrous Customer Service and False Advertising: My Experience with [Website Name]
This website is not the place to go if you want to get your money's worth. I recently purchased a chair that was advertised as leather, but it turned out to be plastic. The website claimed that the chair was restored, but it was barely wiped down. The casters were binding, the foam was not new, and the chair made creaking and popping sounds.
Their customer service is a disaster. They offer a 12-year warranty, but it's a joke. My issues could have been resolved with a phone call, but nobody answered their number. I received curt emails from Evelyn Kinsley, the Customer Care Team, who told me that they don't do phone calls. That's not what I call customer service.
To make matters worse, the second chair I ordered came in with a piece snapped off. I sent it back and I'm still waiting for my refund. The fake leather chair was already assembled when I realized it was plastic. I offered to keep the chair at a discount, but they told me to take it apart and send it back. I don't have the tools to take it apart without damaging it, but they didn't seem to care.
I'm extremely disappointed with this website. They lied about what they sold/shipped me, and they won't stand behind the product. If you want to get threatening emails in all caps from their "legal dept" threatening "YOUR PLACE BEING SWATED IN FRONT OF YOUR NEIGHBORS, FRIENDS, FAMILY, COWORKERS." while your dispute is being handled by Visa, buy from these guys.
I thought I was getting old stock, but they buried the fact that it was restored. They don't stand behind what they sell, and when they screw up, they don't try to make it better. That's their idea of customer service. It's a massive fail!
My advice to you is to go local and see what you're getting, or buy from a reputable website. Don't waste your time and money on this website. May you have better luck than me. Good luck!
Disappointing Experience with Office Chair @ Work: Poor Quality, Shipping Nightmare, and Glitchy Website
I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with my experience with Office Chair @ Work. I was on the hunt for a Herman Miller Aeron Chair for my daughter's birthday, and stumbled upon this website. They had what I was looking for, but I didn't realize that I was buying a used chair. I wish they had made that more clear on their website.
The shipping and tracking was a complete nightmare. I couldn't get a hold of anyone to ask about my order, and the chair was promised by a certain date that came and went. It took a whole four weeks for the chair to finally arrive at my daughter's place in Texas. And when it did arrive, she was pretty disappointed with how dirty and beat up it was. The chair was poorly packed and the box was broken, which probably contributed to the damage.
But the real kicker? A week later, I received a second Aeron chair delivered to me in Alabama! The packing was so bad that the chair broke through the box and the box was torn open in four places. I contacted the company to try and sort out what had happened, and was told via email that I had actually ordered two chairs. Which I definitely did not do.
To make matters worse, the website itself is a mess. When I was trying to order the chair for my daughter, I accidentally put in the wrong address. When I tried to change it, the website glitched out and I had to start the whole process over again. And then, to top it all off, I ended up with a second charge on my credit card bill.
All in all, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. The website is a mess, the merchandise I received was subpar, and the customer service was non-existent. Buyer beware!
Warning: Stay Away from this Scam Website Selling Herman Miller Chairs and Upgrades
This website is a complete scam, no doubt about it. I had a similar experience to many others who have left reviews before me. I shelled out over $900 for a Herman Miller chair and some soft-roll wheels as an add-on. My credit card was charged on February 5th and I received an email saying that my order had been processed. They promised that it would take 5-14 business days for shipping. However, 14 days went by and I didn't hear a peep from anyone. I decided to reach out to their customer service via email. The first response I got was that it could take up to 30 business days to process and they gave me a UPS tracking number that only showed "label created" as the status. I waited another 30 business days and still nothing. I reached out again and this time they told me that due to "global supply chain shortages," it would take another 10-20 business days to assemble all the parts and upgrades (rollerblade wheels in my case) in-house before shipping. They even offered me a "Quick Ship" upgrade for an additional $99, but I declined because it already seemed fishy to me.
After waiting another 20 business days, I was beyond angry. It was only then that I realized how much of a scam this website really was. I asked to cancel my order, but the customer service rep told me that my order was scheduled to ship the following week. I insisted on canceling anyway, but then they miraculously told me that my order had already shipped. This time, it was a FedEx tracking number from a completely different location. I still wanted to cancel, but they told me that once the order ships, you can no longer cancel it outright. This was despite the fact that I had requested to cancel before it shipped and was told multiple times via email that I could cancel if I wanted to.
Two days later, a package arrived at my doorstep. It was a chair, clearly used, packaged haphazardly with no upgraded wheels that I had paid extra for. And to top it off, the customer service rep stopped replying to me after I called them out on all their lies. I have since opened a dispute with my credit card issuer, but I doubt I'll ever see my money again. These scammers deserve to be punished for their shady business practices.
The website is a complete scam, from their terms (if you even bother to read them) to their business address (which is fake if you look it up on Google Maps street view). Even the customer service rep's name "Evelyn Kinsley" is probably fake. The random name and return address listed on the shipping label is also a scam. It's all a scam! Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. Don't make the same mistake I did and lose your hard-earned money to these crooks.
Terrible Experience with Office Chair @ Work: Poor Quality, Bad Customer Service, and Misleading Policies
This company, Office Chair @ Work, is not a good choice for purchasing used furniture. They claim to have good quality items, but my experience with them was terrible. I ordered a Knoll office chair for $499, but when it arrived, the box was ripped and the chair parts were damaged. Despite this, I decided to give them a chance and put the chair together. However, I quickly realized that the base had been spray painted to cover up major damage, which rubbed off on my hands and clothes. The wheels were also squeaky and beat up.
I contacted their customer service on the same day to request a replacement chair, as I still wanted the chair but not one that was as damaged as the one I received. However, I never heard back from them. A few weeks later, the seat came off the chair and left a sharp screw exposed, which snagged my pants and stabbed my leg. At this point, I wanted a refund instead of a replacement, as their website claims to offer a money back guarantee and free returns.
I contacted them again through their website and by phone, but still received no response. I eventually filed a complaint with the BBB, and only then did I receive an email from them claiming that they had been trying to reach me for weeks. We exchanged emails using different email addresses, as they claimed my original email did not work.
Their emails were poorly written with mistakes and poor grammar. They offered me a 30% refund or the option to return the chair in its original box, which I no longer had since I had put the chair together and recycled the box. They also had no customer service representative to speak with, only an email address.
In the end, they asked me to drive to their location in NJ between 11am-4pm to return the chair and receive a refund. This was a huge inconvenience and a waste of my time.
I do not recommend using this company. They should be upfront about the condition of their used furniture and price it accordingly. Their policies for full money back guarantee and refunds are misleading and not honored.
Buyer Beware: Office Chair @ Work Fails to Honor Warranty and Sells Inferior Products
I recently purchased a Steelcase Leap chair from Office Chair @ Work in October of 2021. While I have had this chair at work for years and know it very well, I was disappointed to find that the package was destroyed and the chair was broken upon arrival. According to their terms and conditions, I should have refused the shipment, but since they did not require a signature, the chair was dropped off when I wasn't home. When I contacted them, they made me submit a claim with Fedex, which was a hassle as the store needs to submit and/or verify the claim. After much back and forth, I finally got a replacement, but it was not a new seat. Instead, they sent me a stripped-down part of just the exact piece that was broken. This made it difficult for any normal person to find the specialized driver bits and/or instructions on how to strip this chair down. Steelcase doesn't even consider it repairable at that point.
Fast forward to one year later, and I'm having an issue with the recline feature. The chair sticks and doesn't recline or reset cleanly and gets stuck. I've tried to grease the chair multiple times and contacted Steelcase directly. Steelcase said the chair is defective and that it needs to be replaced under warranty, but I would have to go back to where I bought it. When I contacted Office Chair @ Work, I was told that a warranty claim was already submitted, but I had not submitted any warranty claim. When I inquired further, I was met with silence.
It's worth noting that Office Chair @ Work sells chairs on the "Gray Market" and provides inferior products that Steelcase cannot verify and/or support. I've now tried to contact Office Chair @ Work five times via email and left a voice mail over a 3.5 week duration, but I've had no responses. The last email I sent verified that they admit to guilt for failing to honor their warranty and providing false and fraudulent advertising as it pertains to their warranty.
If you're considering purchasing a chair from Office Chair @ Work, be forewarned. There are many negative reviews out there, and they push you to cusrev.com, which I can't even get into as a paying customer. While the chair itself is great, if you can't afford to get it directly from the manufacturer, then maybe look for a different chair. It's a gamble, and their terms and conditions may be used to weasel out of every option possible.
Unreliable Delivery & Poor Communication: My Experience with Office Chair @ Work
As a customer who recently made an order at Office Chair @ Work (officechairatwork.com), I wanted to share my experience with others who may be considering this vendor.
I placed my order 15 days ago, but unfortunately, the website missed their own processing and shipping deadline without any outreach to me. Frustrated, I decided to contact customer support, only to be redirected to their email.
To my relief, Evelyn Kinsley responded promptly, but quoted a processing and shipping timeline that differed from what was clearly advertised on their website. However, she did offer to replace my original order with an alternative, more expensive option, that was ready to be shipped immediately. I weighed my options and ultimately decided to cancel my original order and purchased the new one.
However, when I made it clear that I would issue a chargeback if they missed their deadlines again, they canceled my re-order altogether. This experience left me feeling rather disappointed, as their inability to meet their own policies made me look elsewhere for my chair needs.
In my opinion, you may want to invest your time and money in a vendor that is capable of delivering what they advertise. I believe that Office Chair @ Work (officechairatwork.com) may fall short in their delivery expectations, based on my own experience. If you are considering purchasing from this website, I would recommend that you conduct your own research and weigh the potential risks before proceeding.
My advice to the management team at OCAW is to take customer satisfaction seriously, and to strive to deliver products and services that meet or exceed the expectations of their customers.
Office Chair @ Work Review: Poor Quality, Terrible Customer Service, and a Total Scam
I recently had an unfortunate experience with Office Chair @ Work, a company that specializes in refurbished office chairs. I decided to purchase a chair from them as I was hoping to find a quality chair that would be both comfortable and stylish, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations.
I ended up spending a significant amount of money on the chair, but after only four weeks of use, the seat began to fall apart. I contacted their customer service team, and they promised to send me a new seat. However, I waited for two weeks and heard nothing, so I reached out to them for an update. They informed me that it would be another two weeks before they could send me the replacement part.
As the delay began to drag on and on, I became increasingly frustrated. After three months of waiting and several rounds of back-and-forth with their customer service team, FedEx still had not received the replacement part. Eventually, I gave up on the idea of receiving the new seat altogether and requested a refund.
Initially, they promised to give me a full refund with no restocking fees. Unfortunately, I was asked to pay for the shipping costs ($400) for returning the chair. I diligently followed up with my shipping provider, UPS, to ensure that the chair was delivered safely and accurately. According to UPS, the chair was delivered back to the company, but when I attempted to communicate with them to confirm receipt and request a refund, they blocked my email address.
I cannot stress enough how frustrating this experience has been. Office Chair @ Work promises quality and service, but their product clearly did not live up to my expectations. I have since purchased a "real" Herman Miller Aeron chair, and I can confidently say that the materials used in the refurbishing process are significantly inferior to those used in a truly high-quality chair.
It is painfully obvious that this company is nothing more than a scam, and I strongly recommend that you do not purchase anything from them. If you're searching for a legitimate business that will deliver the quality products and customer service you deserve, look elsewhere and avoid Office Chair @ Work.
Damaged Refurbished Chair: Disappointing Experience with Office Chair @ Work
When I think about my experience with Office Chair @ Work, it was definitely not a positive one. When I initially received my chair, I noticed that it was quite damaged. There were visible scratches on both the base and the cover of the mechanism and the cylinder seemed to stick out quite noticeably. I immediately reached out to the vendor to inform them of the problem and I was shocked by their response. Instead of offering to help me get a replacement chair or even filing a claim with FedEx on my behalf, they essentially threw all of the work back on me.
I was disappointed that I had to take on the responsibility of figuring out how to send the chair back and paying for the shipping costs myself. Given the damage, the chair was completely unusable and it was also frustrating to see it scratch up the hardwood floor when I took it out of the box to inspect it. After considering my options, I ended up accepting the offer from the vendor for replacement parts.
Unfortunately, this solution also came with its own set of challenges. When I received the new base and cylinder, there were no instructions included on how to remove the old parts and install the new ones. My husband and I tried to figure it out on our own, but we weren't successful in loosening the cylinder. This was especially difficult since my husband is older and has had multiple back surgeries. We watched multiple YouTube videos to try and troubleshoot, but we had no luck.
One of the biggest frustrations with this entire experience was that the chair was actually refurbished, which is something that wasn't evident on the website. Because of this, we found out that the cylinder was basically frozen, with no way of dislodging it. We feel that the responsible thing for the company to have done was to file a claim with FedEx to get their money back and then send us a new, functioning chair.
Overall, I'm incredibly disappointed in my experience with Office Chair @ Work and I'm planning on escalating the issue with PayPal. I would definitely not order from them again and would caution others to do their research and make sure they're getting a brand new chair if they do decide to order from them.
Review of Office Chair @ Work: Clearing Up Misconceptions about Preowned Chair Sales
Upon my experience with Office Chair @ Work (officechairatwork.com), I wanted to clear up some misconceptions about this website. First and foremost, this site is definitely not a scam. Like many people, I was skeptical at first after reading some negative reviews. However, I did some research and found out that the chairs sold on this site are not new, but preowned and repaired. Therefore, some may have some scuffs or scratches, but the mechanisms work perfectly fine.
I decided to take the plunge and purchased two chairs from this website- a SteelCase and an HM Aeron. While the SteelCase arrived promptly, there was a delay with the Aeron due to high demand. I had to be patient, but it was worth the wait. It should be noted that some people who are used to Amazon's rapid delivery system may find the waiting process challenging, but it is essential to understand the nature of the business.
The return policy of this company is impressive as it starts as soon as the chair arrives, and they ask if there are any issues within 24 hours. This way, they can figure out if the problem was caused during shipping or not. If an issue arises, the company always tries to provide a part for repair before insisting on returning the chair.
I had some questions regarding their return policy, and I sent multiple emails to the company. I was surprised to receive responses quickly and found them to be helpful and concise.
Unfortunately, I believe that Office Chair @ Work has received a bad reputation from some people who did not understand their terms and conditions. The two main reasons for this misunderstanding are: some thought the chairs sold on this site were brand new, which is incorrect as the prices of these chairs make it obvious that they are secondhand, and some customers made unreasonable demands, expecting the company to cater to their every whim, or else threaten a bad review.
Overall, I think that Office Chair @ Work is a legitimate and reliable website that will provide you with quality chairs at a fair price. I am writing this review to address some inaccuracies and misconceptions that circulate around this site. I believe that this company deserves recognition for its services and that we should refrain from spreading fake news about them.
Disappointing delivery and customer service experience with Office Chair @ Work
Office Chair @ Work provides a wide range of seating solutions to cater to the needs of professionals out there. I was looking for comfortable and ergonomic office chairs and ended up ordering two Henry Miller chairs from them. The ordering process was straightforward, and my credit card was charged immediately. However, I noticed that their terms of service were buried under a link titled "Terms of Service," where it stated that the chairs could take up to 14 days "to process" after the credit card charge.
When I reached out to their customer service team, they clarified that it's 14 business days, which is a bit longer than what I anticipated. Nonetheless, I waited patiently for the chairs to arrive. The first chair was shipped within the 14 business days, but I am still waiting for the second chair to be delivered, and it is AFTER the 14th business day.
The only way to get assistance is through email as calling the number on their site directs you to email. They have one individual, Evelyn, who is the only one that replies to support requests. While she responded to my queries in a timely manner initially, I have yet to see my second chair shipped, and there is nothing but silence on their end.
It's frustrating, and my only recourse is to post a negative review and dispute the charge for the second chair. I also noticed an interesting fact when I checked their Yelp ratings, which is 1.5, while on their site, it's listed as 4.8. It seems they are filtering negative reviews and are not being transparent on all feedback regarding their business. Sadly, there is no way to post a review directly on their site.
In conclusion, I appreciate the quality of their products, but their delivery timelines and customer service could do better. The lack of transparency and unresponsiveness from their support team has left me feeling disappointed.
Worst online shopping experience - Avoid [protected]@Work
I recently had the unfortunate experience of ordering a chair from [protected]@Work, and I have to say, it was one of the worst online shopping experiences I've had to date. First off, it took nearly a month for my chair to arrive, which is ridiculous considering they claim to only need 14 business days to process the order. As if the delay wasn't bad enough, when the chair finally did arrive, it wasn't even the one I had ordered! Instead of the "titanium base" chair that was depicted on their website, I received a shoddily painted black plastic chair. To make matters worse, the fabric color was also incorrect.
When I reached out to their so-called "customer care team" for assistance, they responded in a shockingly unprofessional manner, with one representative even saying "LOL, we're not sending you anything" when I requested a replacement for the wrong chair that I had received. What's more, after reading through their return policy, I discovered that they charge a 35% restocking fee - even for items that were incorrectly sent! - and they have been known to refuse refunds for credit card fees and other transaction costs.
At this point, I'm stuck with an inferior chair that I never even wanted in the first place, and it cost me nearly $350. I would never recommend anyone to shop at [protected]@Work, and I strongly urge others to learn from my mistakes and look elsewhere for their office furniture needs. It's clear from reading other reviews that I'm not the only customer who has had problems with this retailer, so I truly hope that they take responsibility for their errors and make things right with their customers.
[protected]@Work Review: Poor Customer Service and Non-Functioning Products
If you are looking for a company that provides quality customer service, we urge you to steer clear of [protected]@Work. Our recent experience with this company proved to be quite frustrating, to say the least. We encountered several issues upon purchasing and ultimately returning chairs from their website.
We initially made the mistake of purchasing a chair with fixed arms that were not high enough for our needs, resulting in our decision to return the chair. Although this process was relatively straightforward, it proved to be a vastly different experience when we tried returning the second chair we purchased from them. This time around, we ordered a Herman Miller Aeron with adjustable arms and had chosen the chair for its ability to lock in the forward position, all features that were noted on their website.
However, upon receiving the chair, we realized that it did not lock in the forward position as advertised, and we sought clarifications from their customer service team. Instead of a helpful response, we were met with rude and even aggressive comments from their representative. According to her, we should return the chair if we did not like it, with no mention of the non-refundable restocking fee that we were levied for our return.
Even when we argued our case and asked to speak to a manager, we were ignored and our calls went unanswered. The whole experience was incredibly frustrating, and we felt that we had been taken advantage of with no resolution in sight. As a result, we will never patronize [protected]@Work again, and we hope others will be wary of this company's lack of customer service and disregard for their customers' needs.
Office Chair @ Work Review: Poor Quality and Unfair Policies
When I stumbled upon Office Chair @ Work, a website that claimed to offer discounted prices on high-quality office chairs, I was eager to make a purchase. They advertised free shipping, free returns, and other amazing deals that seemed too good to be true.
Unfortunately, my excitement soon turned into frustration when I received my chair. Upon unboxing it, I discovered that almost every part of the chair was scratched or damaged in some way, from the arm pads to the wheels. I immediately contacted their customer service team via email to request a return, as the chair was clearly not in the condition I had expected.
However, the response I received from their so-called "Care" Team was extremely disappointing. I was asked to provide pictures of the damage, which I did, only to be told that their chairs are restored and that the damage was not significant enough to warrant a return. This was hardly a satisfactory response, especially considering that the damage was clearly visible and the chair did not appear to be fully restored, as advertised.
To make matters worse, the customer service agent told me that my return would not be eligible for a free return under their conditions, despite the fact that the chair was not in the condition it was supposed to be. In order to return it, I would have to pay for the shipping and a 35% restocking fee - a ridiculous and unfair policy that I had not seen advertised anywhere on the website.
I was extremely disappointed with the way this company has handled my situation. The lack of transparency and poor customer service have left me feeling frustrated and angry. I urge anyone looking to make a purchase from this company to read all of the fine print and pay close attention to any hidden details. In my personal opinion, after my experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone else.
Review of Office Chairs @ Work's Herman Miller Aeron Chair: Mixed Experience, But Worth the Purchase
I recently purchased a Herman Miller Aeron chair from Office Chairs @ Work and, like many others, was a bit hesitant about ordering from them due to mixed reviews. However, now that I have received my chair, I wanted to share my thoughts to hopefully help others with their decision making.
Firstly, I want to address a few things that people should be aware of before ordering. The countdown timer on the "discount sale" is just a marketing ploy, so don't feel pressured to make a purchase before it ends. The chairs are also refurbished, which is mentioned on the website, but it's not exactly advertised in bold writing. Finally, shipping times can vary and it may take longer than expected for your chair to arrive.
Despite these minor issues, I am very happy with my purchase. The chair itself is comfortable and well-made, and for the price I paid, I feel like I got a great deal. The fact that it arrived already assembled was also a huge plus, as I didn't have to spend hours trying to put it together myself.
I will say that the customer service experience could use some improvement. When I called the number listed on their website, it went straight to voicemail and instructed me to email them instead. While they did respond to my email within 24 hours, the reply felt a bit robotic and generic.
As for the chair itself, I have noticed a couple of minor issues. The wheels are a bit stiff and can be difficult to move on certain surfaces. I also noticed that the chair sinks slightly whenever I sit in it, but this could be due to my weight and height ratio (I got a size B and weigh around 150 lbs at 6 feet tall).
Overall, I would recommend Office Chairs @ Work to anyone looking for a good office chair at an affordable price. While there may be some minor issues that need to be addressed, the quality of the chairs and the convenience of having them arrive fully assembled make this a great option for those on a budget.
Buyer Beware: My Experience with Office Chair @ Work's Misleading Cyber Monday Sale
I was in search of an office chair deal during Cyber Monday and stumbled upon a review on Amazon recommending Herman Miller chairs. Naturally, I decided to Google "Herman Miller chairs" which led me to a website called Office Chair @ Work. The website looked professional and was showcasing a sale on their products. Each product page featured a countdown timer which seemed to indicate that this was a Cyber Monday sale. I spent some time browsing the offerings and eventually selected a chair.
However, I was shocked to find out that this chair was not new. The only indication that the chair was refurbished was buried deep in the website's "Term of Service" section, which I only found later after reading negative feedback from previous customers. Feeling deceived, I quickly emailed the company asking for a full refund.
To my surprise, I received a response within minutes stating that my items were not used. While technically true, they were not addressing the refurbished chair I had ordered. I sent another message demanding an immediate cancellation of my order, and the company replied with a generic message about the refund process. Frustrated with the situation, I filed a report with the FTC to report their deceptive sales practices and will follow up with the State Attorney General, BBB, and my credit card company.
Overall, I advise caution while dealing with Office Chair @ Work. While they may present themselves as a legitimate company, they seem to engage in misleading practices. My experience with them has been a nightmare, and I do not recommend anyone to purchase from this company.
Office Chair @ Work Complaints 18
Terrible Customer Service and Warranty Restrictions: A Review of [Company Name]
This company was a real pain to deal with, let me tell you. We ordered a Steelcase office chair from them, but when it arrived, it was missing a key part and another part was broken. What a mess! And even though they advertise free return shipping on their website, they tried to stick us with the cost of returning the chair so we could get a refund. Can you believe that?
To make matters worse, their customer service was a joke. You couldn't even talk to a real person on the phone, and the emails we got from their agents were downright rude and disrespectful. It was like they didn't care at all about our problem.
If you're thinking about ordering from this company, do yourself a favor and read ALL of the fine print in their warranty. It's super restrictive and makes it almost impossible to get a full refund. And don't forget to check out their Better Business Bureau and TrustPilot ratings before you make a decision. I wish we had done that before we ordered from them. Their poor ratings would have been a big red flag for us.
Overall, I would definitely NOT recommend this seller. They're just not worth the hassle.

It is painfully obvious that this company is nothing more than a scam, and I strongly recommend that you do not purchase anything from them. If you're searching for a legitimate business that will deliver the quality products and customer service you deserve, look elsewhere and avoid Office Chair @ Work.
Disappointing Experience with Office Chair @ Work: Defective Chair and Lack of Communication
I recently purchased the Steelcase Amia office chair with a headrest from Office Chair @ Work, and I have to say, I was quite disappointed with my experience. After reading online reviews about the chair being sturdy and upright, I decided to give it a try. However, it took almost a month for the chair to arrive, which was the first red flag.
When I finally received the chair, I noticed that it wouldn't sit upright and the headrest only rested my head if I was looking at the ceiling. Additionally, everything on the chair felt loose and janky. I knew I had to return it, so I contacted the company and they were pretty responsive. They even offered me a discount on another chair as soon as they received the defective one back. However, I politely declined and requested a refund instead.
The company informed me that my refund would be processed once they received the chair back, and I should expect to see the refund in 7-14 days. I waited patiently, but I never received any further communication from them. I started scouring my email and found a refund transaction through PayPal, but it failed, and I was instructed to contact the vendor. I emailed both returns and support, but I received no response for a week.
Frustrated with the lack of communication, I decided to dispute the payment on my Amex card. To my surprise, my claim was approved, which made me realize that I wasn't the only one who had issues with this merchant. Needless to say, I won't be doing business with them again.
Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with Office Chair @ Work. The chair I received was defective, and the company's communication was lacking. While they were responsive initially, they failed to follow through with their promises. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.

Office Chair @ Work Review: Lack of Transparency and Misleading Processing Times
I recently made a purchase on Office Chair @ Work's website for an Aeron chair. The website stated that processing would take 5-14 business days, which I was okay with. However, after 10 days had passed, I decided to reach out to their support team for an update on my order.
To my surprise, I received a response stating that the processing time for all Aeron chair orders was actually 10-20 business days, as seen on the sales listing. They even included a screenshot with an arrow pointing to the text. I double-checked my order confirmation, which still stated 5-14 business days. I was a bit confused, but decided to wait it out.
After 14 business days had passed, I reached out for another update. This time, I was informed that there was a delay in processing due to a sudden surge in global Aeron chair sales. They told me it would be another 5-15 business days before my order would ship. Frustrated with the lack of transparency, I decided to cancel my order altogether.
If there's a sudden surge in sales that's causing delays, it's important for the company to clearly state that on their order forms and send updates to customers with pending orders. Misdirecting and lying about processing times is not the way to go.
Overall, I would advise others to avoid this company and either pay the extra money for a new chair or go to a more reputable third-party seller. It's not worth the hassle and frustration.
Office Chair @ Work: Threatening Emails and Poor Quality Products
I recently purchased the Leap V2 chair from Office Chair @ Work and boy was I disappointed. The quality was just plain awful. The wheels were caked with dust and bugs, the leather was scratched all over, and the height adjustment was not working at all. I was so upset that I took pictures of all the issues and requested a return. I mean, they do have a 30-day money-back guarantee, right?
But instead of apologizing and accepting the return, they accused me of not assembling the chair properly. Can you believe that? And the way they said it was so passive-aggressive, it really rubbed me the wrong way. Luckily, I was able to request a return through PayPal and they helped me out. But then, things got even crazier.
I received an email from the company threatening to SWAT my house! Can you imagine? They even attached a picture of the email, which I've included here. The email said that if I didn't stop trying to return the chair, they would call the police and have my house raided in front of my neighbors, friends, family, and coworkers. They even said I could face up to 10 years in prison! Who sends an email like that? And they signed it "legal" and used an AOL email address. It's like they're not even trying to be professional.
Honestly, I'm just glad that I was able to get the chair picked up by UPS and sent back to them. I'm crossing my fingers that I don't get swatted or anything like that. It's really scary to think that a company could act like this and get away with it. I wouldn't recommend Office Chair @ Work to anyone, unless you want to risk your safety and sanity.

My Disappointing Experience with Office Chair @ Work: A Review
When I decided to invest in an office chair for my work space, I came across Office Chair @ Work, a website that seemed to have a variety of modern and stylish chairs that would look great in my home office. I ultimately chose the Aaron chair and placed my order, excited for my new purchase to arrive.
However, I was disappointed to find that my chair did not arrive for a whole month. To make matters worse, when I tried to contact Office Chair @ Work via phone, I was unable to reach anyone as the phone simply went straight to voicemail. It wasn't until I sent them a few emails that they finally sent my chair.
As I excitedly unboxed my new chair, I hoped that it would be as comfortable as it looked online. Unfortunately, after sitting in it for a while, I found that it just wasn't the right fit for me and I decided to return it.
This is where things got a bit tricky. Even though I had followed all of the return instructions and sent the chair back in its original condition, I was only refunded half of the amount I had paid for the chair. I was left feeling frustrated, out of money and without a good chair for my workspace.
While I do appreciate the selection of chairs available on Office Chair @ Work, I do wish that their customer service and return policies were more transparent and straightforward. It's difficult to trust a company that doesn't respond to phone calls and takes such a large cut from a return.
Office Chair @ Work Review: Impressive Selection But Frustrating Customer Service
When I was in the market for a new office chair, I came across Office Chair @ Work's website. At first glance, their selection was impressive and their prices were competitive. However, my experience with their customer service left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.
I placed an order for a chair and eagerly awaited its arrival. Unfortunately, I soon realized that the shipping timeline they advertised was not accurate. When I reached out to cancel my order due to the delay, I was met with resistance from their team. Despite having plenty of time to cancel, they made it difficult for me to do so and refused to give me a full refund.
Their lack of transparency about availability and delivery left a lot to be desired, and I felt like I had wasted my time and energy on a product that wasn't even ready for shipping. If you're considering purchasing from Office Chair @ Work, I highly recommend getting in touch with their customer service team to understand the availability of the product you want and receive a realistic shipping timeline.
Overall, I would caution against buying from this vendor. While their selection and pricing may seem attractive, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Save yourself the headache and consider a different vendor for your office chair needs.
Unreliable Customer Service: My Experience with Officechairatwork.com
As a human being who values quality and dependability, I was excited to purchase a new office chair from Officechairatwork.com. With the promise of a comfortable and supportive seat for my long work hours, I was eager to try out their products. However, I was sadly disappointed by the lack of customer support I received from this company.
For over six weeks, I have contacted their customer service team multiple times with no response. This left me feeling frustrated and disheartened, as I was unable to resolve any issues I may have had with my purchase. It wasn't until I reached out to Steelcase Customer Support that I received any useful information.
The Steelcase representative informed me that Officechairatwork.com is not an authorized dealer. This means that any chair purchased from their site is not eligible for the full warranty offered by Steelcase. As a customer who values peace of mind, this information left me feeling disappointed and frustrated.
In hindsight, I realize that I should have done more research before making my purchase. I could have avoided this entire situation by buying my chair from a more reputable and reliable site like Amazon. If I had done so, I would have had the peace of mind that comes with purchasing from an authorized dealer.
Furthermore, the Steelcase representative informed me that had I purchased my chair from an authorized dealer, I would have been entitled to a full replacement under the 12 years of lumbar mechanism warranty. This only further highlights the importance of purchasing from trustworthy sources and making informed decisions.
In conclusion, my experience with Officechairatwork.com has been disappointing. I would caution anyone considering buying from this site to do more research and make an informed decision. As for me, I will be looking for a new office chair from a more reputable source.
Officechairatwork.com Review: Buyer Beware of Refurbished Chairs and Poor Customer Service
After conducting research on officechairatwork.com, we found that there may be some cause for concern. It appears that the company is currently operating under a new name, seatingmind.com, and it has received negative feedback from customers regarding their purchases of "refurbished" chairs. Several customers had major issues with the chairs they purchased and their attempts to seek customer service were fruitless.
One of the most concerning issues that was reported is that the company requires customers to upload videos on YouTube as "proof" of broker chairs. However, even after videos were submitted, customers were told that the chairs were not covered under warranty. This left many customers feeling frustrated and angry, as they felt like the company was not holding up their end of the bargain.
Another red flag is that officechairatwork.com does not appear to be an authorized dealer of used Herman Miller chairs. Customers can confirm this by emailing Herman Miller, which suggests that the chairs being sold may not be genuine or of the highest quality.
Overall, the negative reviews of this company suggest that there may be some issues with their products and customer service. We advise that customers proceed with caution when making purchases from officechairatwork.com or its sister company, seatingmind.com. It is always helpful to read reviews from verified customers before making a significant investment in office furniture.
OfficeChairatwork.com: Poor Business Practice and Violation of NJ State Law
I recently purchased an Office Chair from the website OfficeChairatwork.com. Unfortunately, after waiting for two weeks for the shipment to arrive, I decided to check on its status, only to find that it wouldn't be shipping for another week or two. Since I needed a chair due to working from home, I ended up buying one locally and had to cancel my order with OfficeChairatwork.com.
To my dismay, my refund was only 90% of the total amount. It took a lot of persistence on my part to finally get an explanation, but it turns out that OfficeChairatwork.com has a 10% cancellation fee, which is a violation of NJ state law. I was very unhappy with this and consider it to be very poor business practice. Had they just refunded my money as requested, I may have considered doing business with them again in the future. However, after my experience, I highly recommend that you steer clear of this company.
Office Chair @ Work review: Dishonest shipping policies and partial refunds
I recently had the opportunity to purchase an office chair from Office Chair @ Work (officechairatwork.com). My initial impression was good, as the website boasted quick shipping times. However, after waiting for ten days without any indication that my order had even shipped, I became frustrated. I reached out to customer service to inquire about the status of my purchase, and was disappointed to hear that it had not yet shipped.
At that point, I asked if I could cancel my order. While the company has a money-back policy in place, the representative informed me that I would only receive 90% of my money back due to their policy. I couldn't help but be disappointed - why offer a full money-back policy if you're not going to honor it?
My curiosity got the best of me, so I decided to investigate further. I looked into Office Chair @ Work on the Better Business Bureau's website and was surprised to find that they had a history of not shipping items and only refunding customers 90% of their money back.
Personally, I find this to be a dishonest way of conducting business. It seems like they're taking advantage of customers who are willing to pay for quick shipping, only to then not follow through with their end of the deal. And to add insult to injury, they're not even refunding the full amount promised.
All things considered, I wouldn't recommend shopping with Office Chair @ Work. I think it's important to support businesses that are honest and transparent in their practices, and this one falls short in my book.
Mixed Feelings on Purchasing Steelcase Leap Chair from Officechairatwork.com: A Review
I recently made a purchase of the Steelcase Leap from officechairatwork.com and I have mixed feelings about my experience. On one hand, I was excited to receive my new office chair, but on the other hand, it was delayed by over a month due to high demand. I was frustrated with the delay, but I understood that it was a busy time for the company.
When the package finally arrived, I was disappointed to find that there were no instructions included. I decided to try and put the chair together myself, but I ran into a problem with the cylinder. It ended up being too low to the ground, even when I adjusted the seat to its maximum height. I was unsure of what to do, so I reached out to customer care for assistance.
At first, I was pleased with the quick reply I received from the team. However, when I followed their link to some instructional videos, I found that they were poorly articulated and did not really help me with my issue. I decided to ask if I could speak with someone directly, but I was disappointed to find that I was just referred back to the videos.
Overall, I was left with a negative impression of the company and their customer service. However, I do appreciate the quality of the Steelcase Leap chair itself, once it was properly assembled. My advice to anyone considering purchasing from officechairatwork.com would be to make sure that you are comfortable with potentially not receiving clear instructions or helpful customer support.
Office Chair @ Work Review: A Shady Business You Need to Avoid
Oh boy, let me tell you about my experience with Office Chair @ Work (officechairatwork.com). I was excited to find this website, which boasts about shopping with "confidence" and offers free returns within 30 days. However, what happened next completely shattered any confidence I had in this company.
After placing an order for a chair, I waited with bated breath for any updates on when it would arrive. But, to my dismay, I received no communication at all about the shipping process. Two weeks went by and I decided to cancel my order. I mean, who wants to wait around for something with no end in sight, right?
Well, imagine my surprise when the chair showed up at my doorstep, a good 10 days after I had cancelled the order. At this point, I had had enough and immediately contacted customer service for a return label and refund. But, guess what? They told me that my order had not been cancelled and that I would have to pay for shipping and a 35% restocking fee for returning the chair.
Talk about a scam! I can't believe this company would treat their customers this way. My advice to you all is to stay far, far away from this website. Don't waste your time and money dealing with their shady business practices. Do yourselves a favor and order from a reputable manufacturer instead.
Disappointing Experience with Office Chair @ Work: Unpleasant Communication and Delayed Delivery
I recently purchased an office chair from Office Chair @ Work and had a less than desirable experience. After waiting for over two weeks to receive my order, I decided to reach out to the company to check on the status of my purchase. Unfortunately, my experience was not smooth sailing from this point on.
Upon calling the company, I was directed to their email address to receive further assistance. Despite sending them an email and leaving a message, I did not receive any follow up. It wasn't until I contacted them again that I received a response at 3 am, stating that my order would take an additional 30-45 days to process and 14 days for delivery. This information was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase.
To make matters worse, the communication with the company was incredibly unpleasant as they were unapologetic and made sarcastic remarks. They defended their delays by suggesting I should be more understanding during the COVID pandemic while also boasting about their non-basement work environment. It wasn't the greatest first impression, especially considering the considerable amount I had spent on my purchase.
Moreover, the company's refusal to inform me of the status of my order made me even more frustrated, and I was then told I would have to wait for seven days for the refund. Although Office Chair @ Work offers drop shipment services, my experience has left me with no desire to recommend them. Save yourself from similar trouble and browse around for a more reliable company.
