I am N F Garishe, [protected], have funeral policies with old Mutual since 2009, I have had no issues paying it, only occurred after I retired I had skipped not more than 3 months. They has not lapsed, I went to check last month others were active 1 was "Lapse Pending", and I was instructed by an Old Mutual customer service agent to pay the required difference in order to keep that account status active. I followed the instruction. I recently went to claim I was told to wait 10 days till my policy pays out because one of the family member I covered has passed on. We buried her without anything. The 2nd sms I've received is now addressed to the family member that is deceased, which is so strange because I was the one paying the account. We need this issue resolved immediately. We trusted Old Mutual to cover our family and we trust them to honour our claim so we can continue paying for the other policies that we have with the same institution. Please revert to this matter as soon as possible, please fix it.
Desired outcome: We'd like our claim to be processed and sent to the rightful policy benefitiary and the payer for this account.
