Still thinking how nasty the food looked and tasted last sunday
I been going to the olive garden since I was 21 years old. The olive garden has always been my favorite restaurant and now I am 55. I know exactly what the food should look like …. And taste like ….. Why the manager didn’t I have no clue….. Went last sunday and the weekend before that also…. Now this is why i’m complaining …the food sunday was awful. It was thick. It wasn’t even hot. It looked as though the cook took a piece of cheese and laid it on top of the lasagna. An a piece of cheese over the chicken parmesan. The alfredo noodles were dry and brown and there wasn’t even enough sauce on the noodles. It was awful I took my fork and stuck it in the middle of the lasagna and held it up in the air…. It was terrible experience not acceptable @ all…. Very very disappointed in that meal and the manager. Re-cooked my food and it still looked the same. Simply amazing…. I didn’t feel like arguing ….. For I just left church an we had an awesome service an I didn’t want to lose the religion that I just encountered …. But i’ll tell you my meal is still in the refrigerator to this day and the week before last when I went, my food was gone the next day, so it still disturbs me …when I have thought of eating my leftovers this week…. Just couldn’t cause it turned my stomach every time…. Remind you I didn’t get to eat much for time had been wasted by re ordering an had to leave for we had another engagement so you see I have to let you all …know for that looks bad on you all an it looks bad for me to for….. I have only ordered the tour of italy for all these years I never have …. Changed …. An with the [censored]ioll soup …. For this restaurant to be so classy an elegant I couldn’t let this bad experience go sorry but not sorry the olive garden cooks an management on duty should had never served that mess to anyone! So disgusting…. I had to ask for extra alfredo sauce to try to make the meal come together but it didn’t work. It was gross. An the black….
African-american woman/ manager that was on duty …. Didn’t even give me a discount for I paid for that mess…. To pay and sit there for her to re order my food an my niece had already finished her meal while i’m still waiting …. There were more complaints that sunday from other dine in guests I was the only brave one to report this for I believe this needs to be addressed … next time I want let this go unaddressed I will speak with out worrying about losing my religion

Olive Garden Review: Delicious Food and Cozy Atmosphere, But Does "Family" Slogan Apply to Takeout Orders?
The food at Olive Garden is always very good and I rarely have any issues. However, there is one small problem that I have noticed. Olive Garden's TV commercials state that "When you're here, you're family." But when my family and I dine in, the waiters and waitresses tap dance breadsticks to us non-stop and we don't even have to ask for any. It really makes us feel like we are part of the family.
But when we order five meals for takeout, we only get five breadsticks. It's like we are strangers when we take out. And if we ask for some extra breadsticks with our order for takeout, we get charged extra. It's a bit confusing and contradictory to their slogan.
Despite this small issue, I still enjoy dining at Olive Garden. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the food is always delicious. I especially love their unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks deal. It's a great value for the price.
One of my favorite dishes is the Chicken Alfredo. The creamy sauce is so flavorful and the chicken is always cooked to perfection. I also love their lasagna and breadsticks. They are always fresh and hot.
Overall, I would recommend Olive Garden to anyone who loves Italian food. Just be aware that the "family" slogan may not apply to takeout orders. But if you dine in, you will definitely feel like part of the family.
It's like that at any restaurant where bread is served complimentary. It is not just OG and it has absolutely NOTHING to do with lazy workers (ignorant comment). Company policy is being followed when you are given breadsticks with your takeout order. Eat inside if you don't like it.

Second Chance Success: A Delicious and Cozy Experience at Olive Garden
But, I decided to give Olive Garden another chance and I'm glad I did. The service was much better this time around. Our server was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was also delicious. I ordered the chicken alfredo and it was creamy and flavorful. The breadsticks were also a hit at our table.
One thing that stood out to me was the atmosphere. The restaurant was dimly lit and had a cozy feel to it. It was a nice change from the bright and loud restaurants I've been to in the past.
Overall, I had a great experience at Olive Garden and I would definitely go back. It's important to give restaurants a second chance because you never know when they might surprise you. So, if you've had a bad experience in the past, don't be afraid to try again.

Surprisingly Delicious Mushroom Pasta at Olive Garden - A Four Star Review
I gotta say, I ain't a big fan of them big ol' corporations and chains. But I gotta give credit where credit's due - Olive Garden surprised me in a good way not once, but twice in the last few months.
Now, I heard some folks sayin' that all their food is frozen and whatnot. But I don't really care about that - their mushroom pasta was downright delicious.
Maybe it's just that one location that's got it goin' on. I reckon I'll have to try out another one when I'm on the road.
But for now, I'm givin' 'em four stars. I gotta say though, it was a bit chilly in there and some of the other folks dinin' weren't exactly easy on the eyes. But hey, I can overlook that for some good grub.
Amazing Service and Delicious Food: Celebrating Our Anniversary at Olive Garden
Olive Garden is a great place to celebrate special occasions. My husband and I went there for our 51st anniversary and we were blown away by the amazing service and delicious food. The staff at Olive Garden are true professionals and they know how to take care of their customers.
Our server, Makyha H, was so polite and courteous. She made sure that all of our requests were taken care of and her timing was perfect. We started off with a delicious salad, appetizers, and cocktails. Everything was so well prepared and tasted amazing. We then moved on to our entrees, which were perfectly prepared by the chef.
To top off our amazing meal, the General Manager, Dianna Armenta, treated us to a tasty Black Tie Mousse Cake for dessert. It was the perfect way to honor our anniversary and we were so grateful for the kind gesture.
Overall, we would highly recommend Olive Garden to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. The food is amazing, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is perfect for any occasion. Thank you Olive Garden for making our anniversary so special!
Unlimited Soup and Salad: My Go-To at Olive Garden
Olive Garden used to be a cute little spot for a date night, but now it's more of a lunch depot for me. We used to go there for dinner all the time when they had the Tuscan T-bone steak, but since they changed their menu, the only thing that stayed the same was the soup and salad.
I usually get the chicken gnocchi, which is a creamy-based soup that's similar to clam chowder. I'll eat two to three bowls while enjoying breadsticks and salad on the side. The soup is unlimited, so I'll take one or two bowls home as well. It's really comforting, especially when you want a meal with the same taste and flavor every time.
I've combined my soup with dessert before, but I've also gone to Olive Garden just for the dessert alone. The tiramisu, Italian donuts, and cappuccino are all delicious.
Depending on where I'm going, my menu selections won't change once I find something that I like. While the staff is nice, the ambiance overall isn't the same. But that doesn't stop me from going back for the soup and salad. It's just too good to pass up!

Olive Garden Review: Jazz the Server Made Our Night!
Hey, so I went to Olive Garden with my girl a few weeks ago and it was pretty dope. Our server was named Jasmine, but she let us call her Jazz. She was super cool and made sure we had everything we needed. Jazz even recommended this bomb ravioli dish that we both ended up getting. The food came out on time and it was hella good.
Jazz was funny too, she had us laughing the whole time. I didn't wanna be a bother and ask her to box up my leftover breadstick, but she did it without even trippin'.
I know some people be hatin' on chain restaurants, but I gotta say, Olive Garden is legit. I've worked in a bunch of restaurants and eaten at even more, but our night at Olive Garden was up there with the best of them. Jazz and the rest of the crew were on point. We'll definitely be back soon.
Disappointing Service at Olive Garden for Daughter's Birthday Celebration
Me and my crew of 10 went to Olive Garden on October 14th to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We were greeted by two servers, but it felt like only one was doing the work. One of them took our orders while the other one brought the food to our table. The whole experience started off on the wrong foot with the seating arrangements.
We knew that we would have to wait for a table since we were a large group, but they didn't tell us that half of the party had to arrive before they would seat us. We only found out about this after they seated a party of 7, 20 minutes after we arrived. The waitresses took our drink order, but they got it wrong. They also wrote down my food order incorrectly, but instead of fixing it, they showed me what they wrote down. I didn't want to make a fuss, so I left it alone.
After they served our food, I wanted a second bowl of unlimited pasta, but my drink never got refilled, and they never came back to our table. We had to ask other servers for to-go boxes, and then we had to ask other servers to split our bill correctly. It was a very disappointing experience. I have had questionable service before, but I have never felt like an annoyance or a nuisance at the restaurant that my daughter insists on going to at least once a month.
I will seriously reconsider going to Olive Garden anytime in the near future. I get better service from our fast food places. It's a shame because I used to enjoy going there, but the service has gone downhill. I hope they can improve their service because I know a lot of people who used to love going there.

I used to go to Olive Garden a lot between 2010 and 2012. I always ordered the chicken marsala with mashed potatoes. It was a lot of food, enough to fill me up and still have leftovers for another meal. However, the last time I went, the chicken marsala was rubbery. I was really hungry, so I ate it anyway. My 12-year-old son ordered the chicken alfredo, but he only took two bites because the noodles were undercooked and the sauce was watery.
We were given three breadsticks, and the waitress tried to upsell us on a $4.00 dipping sauce. I wasn't happy with the amount of food I got that day. It wasn't enough to fill me up, and I knew there wouldn't be any leftovers. We were waiting for more breadsticks, but the waitress came back and told us they were out for the rest of the day. This was on a Saturday at 2pm! We complained about the food, but the service was fine. The restaurant gave us a gift card to make up for it.
A couple of weeks later, we went back to Olive Garden. This time, there weren't any problems with the breadsticks, but the chicken marsala was still rubbery. The portion size was still too small, and it didn't fill me up. My son ordered a steak, but he said it was the worst he'd ever had. He asked me never to take him to Olive Garden again. I agreed with him. The food was substandard, and the prices were too high. I should have gone to a locally owned restaurant. I would have paid less, gotten more food, and it would have tasted better.

From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were an inconvenience to the staff. The waitress was nowhere to be found, and we had to flag down other servers just to get basic things like water and breadsticks. When we finally did see our waitress, she had no smile or welcoming vibe. It was like we were bothering her by being there.
To make matters worse, the table was cluttered with dishes from previous courses, and there was no room for the entrees. When we complained to the manager, she didn't seem to care and just continued to put the food down. It was uncomfortable and made it hard to enjoy our meal.
The male manager and take-out guy were no better. They didn't seem to care that we were unhappy with the service. It's frustrating to come to a restaurant and not receive good service, especially when you're paying for it.
Overall, the Abercorn Street Olive Garden in Savannah, GA needs to step up their game. The staff needs to be trained in customer service and basic manners. It's not enough to just serve food, you need to make your customers feel welcome and appreciated. Until they make some changes, I won't be returning.
Terrible Phone System and Customer Service at Olive Garden: A Frustrating Experience
I gotta say, I haven't been to Olive Garden in ages, but I've been ordering their food for pickup lately. Specifically, their Zuppa Toscana. I mean, I can make it myself, but sometimes I'm just too lazy, you know? Anyway, the phone system they have is just terrible. I don't know when they changed it, but it's just a nightmare to try and place an order over the phone. I mean, seriously, how do they expect to keep customers with such a stupid system? They keep trying to push their online ordering system, but it's not like that's any better. At least, it wasn't in the past. They didn't even have an option for a gallon or two of soup! So, if you want to order a lot of soup, you have to go through this whole long message about ordering online. It's just ridiculous.
And don't even get me started on their delivery. They technically have catering, but you can't order it for delivery to your home. Why? Because they can't "set it up" for you. What does that even mean? It's not like I'm asking them to come in and set the table for me. I just want my food delivered to my house. Is that too much to ask?
Anyway, I recently ordered some soup from the Houston Willowbrook location and when I got home, I noticed there was hardly any sausage in it. I mean, we had to dig around just to find a few tiny pieces. I called to ask about it and the manager was just rude. She acted like we were lying or something. I mean, why would we make that up? We've been ordering from them for years. It's just frustrating.
Honestly, I don't know how Olive Garden stays in business with such terrible customer service. It's like they don't even care about their customers. I want to give my money to a company that actually values my business.
They do not follow food safety procedures. Food is left in danger temp—zones for much longer than they are supposed to allowing bacteria to form. There is mold on the cooking devices used for their soups. There is mold in the walk-in storages. It is not clean and they are serving you food from those...do not eat at the olive garden on 40 McIntyre Square Pittsburgh PA. There is mold in the kitchen, and they are serving you food from those moldy places, they do not clean the kitchen and are serving food on dirty dishes. The prep cooks do not even wash the food before using it. You are eating moldy food with dirt and bugs here. If they drop something on the floor, they just pick it up and use it. It is so gross. AND, they allow their male workers to sexually harass female workers, and when you bring it to a manager's attention you are told that it is a part of the job. They also actively discriminate against you based on your sex. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS OLIVE GARDEN UNTIL THEY FIX THESE ISSUES.

I visited Olive Garden in Danville, Virginia four times in the last two months. The dates are 11/6,12/8,12/15, and 12/29/2023. I was told today when I called that this location still offers complimentary wine. I was not offered wine on any of the visits. I went 12/29 and I left before I ordered because the waitress couldn't wait for me and my guest to place our order, because she was too busy trying to take the order of people who can in after us. The manager offered me a complimentary tea and told me he would speak with her. He should have me told me to stay and seated me somewhere else for another waitress to take my order. He didn't. Food poisoning
I went to dine at the Olive garden in Fort Myers Florida on Tamiami Trail ( 41 ) on December 6th 2023 about 9 pm and ordered the Chicken with broccoli then left and after about 2 hours began vomiting the entire meal for a day and a half I was in pain from head to toe and as a senior DO NOT appreciate getting bacteria poisoning from improperly cooked food or poor sanitary procedures followed.

This place is becoming a very sad joke. Twice we have been there and both times the dust around, and even worse dusty planters near the table, where the dust was thick enough to write your name in it.
In addition, we were seated near a table with small children. We asked to be moved due to the noise factor and were seated in a nearby section. After we were seated there within minutes a new family with noisy kids was seated right near us.
Our server was clearly overwhelmed with the 5 or six tables he was working. Our salad had very little dressing. He asked if we wanted additional breadsticks and we said no. Right before we left he brought them anyway. That costs you money.
The busser cleaning the table near us had plenty of room to keep the cart away from our table but that must not have been good enough. The cart was pushed within disgusting eyeshot of where we were eating.
Finally, tattooed staff, and I am shocked that I even have to mention this, need to cover those tats. I have a tattoo myself and worked on television, with the ink ALWAYS covered. McDonalds - visible tats OK - - same with B.K. Chick-fil-a and any other Fast Food Joint. Sit down restaurants - no way. I know it's hard to get good help, but visible ink makes you a candidate for Micky D's and not Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Mimi's or any other family sit down eatery.
New waiter & food on jun 28, 2023 @ frisco tx preston rd store
Three of us had lunch at Frisco Preston Rd on Jun 28 @ 1230pm. Apparently, Dylan is a new waiter & possibly, had more tables to service than he could handle. Mgr Walter came by & asked how everything was; my 2 gentlemen companions said "Fine". They were treating me to lunch.
The entire meal was a BIG FAILURE! I spoke with Mgr Walter. Explained the situation: We ordered Calamari appetizer, 2 Soup & Salad lunches, 1 Chicken Parm & 3 ice teas. Dylan forgot to put in Calamari order. I asked for another bowl of soup, which never arrived. Iceberg lettuce looked old. Asked for additional napkins; never arrived. Asked for 2 new ice teas with extra ice in both; received 2 Ice Teas w/very LITTLE ICE! Ordered 2 desserts & 2 coffees. Brought desserts, Strawberries on cheesecake & Cream cake were OLD. Had to REMIND Dylan about our COFFEE!
I asked Mgr Walter to COMP our meal. Apparently, Mgr went back to our table & again asked the 2 gentlemen, again, how everything was. They said fine, I'm sure. I was in the restrm. When I got back to the table, I told my friends that the MGR will comp our meals. My friend had already paid the tab, on the monitor on the table. Service was SO SLOW that we were there for 2 hrs.
When we left, my friends went out first. I stayed behind & asked the gal at ToGO desk if I could speak with Walter. She paged him, no response. Mgr Johnny said he could help me. I preferred to speak with Walter, if he was available and he knew the story with our waiter, Dylan.
Both Walter & Johnny said my companions were satisfied & could give me a gift card for MY SOUP & SALAD MEAL! I said no thanks, I want a $100 gift card & we'll give Olive Garden another chance. They said NO, trying to argue with me! I had to leave as it was 103 degrees outside & my party was waiting.
I've worked in Public Contact for 57 yrs. My gentlemen friends are a retired Dentist and a retired Army Major (I told Walter in my 1st conversation with him that we're trying to have a nice lunch, as "Major" has cancer, uses a walker & unfortunately looks pale, like a chemo patient).
It starts with management, as [censored] rolls down hill. Incorporate some Dale Carnegie "How to Win Friends & Influence People" written in 1936 and still a best seller!
Desired outcome: There is NOTHING that can UNDO the rudeness, being ignored & humiliated,
A health inspection, so that they can be forced to ensure the safety of their food. I do not see it happening by their management alone.
They do not follow food safety procedures. Food is left in danger temp — zones for much longer than they are supposed to, allowing bacteria to form. There is mold on the cooking devices used for their soups. There is mold in the walk-in storages. It is not clean and they are serving you food from those... do not eat at the olive garden on 40 McIntyre...

The breadsticks are pretty good too, but they can be a bit dry sometimes. The salad is alright, nothing special. The service is hit or miss, sometimes you get a really nice waiter or waitress and other times they seem like they don't want to be there. My last visit to Olive Garden was just that: my last visit. That was 9 years ago. Marsala chicken was so rubbery, it would have bounced off the walls. My party of 2 were brought 3 breadsticks and after we had consumed them, we got the marinara dipping sauce at an additional charge of $4. Except, the server announced they were completely out of breadsticks, no more for the day, none left. Major disappointment as prices as greatly increased and everyone loves those breadsticks.
