Disappointing Experience with Omnimap: No Shipping Confirmation or Response to Inquiry
I ordered a map from Omnimap (omnimap.com) and was pretty excited to receive it. However, four days later and still no shipping confirmation. I decided to reach out to them via email to inquire about the shipping date, but unfortunately, I didn't receive a reply. I must say, I was pretty disappointed with this experience and I don't think I'll be returning to Omnimap again. I mean, come on, four days and still no shipping? That's just ridiculous. I was really hoping to have my map by now, but it seems like that's not going to happen anytime soon. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Omnimap based on my experience.
Omnimap Delivers: Fast Shipping and Quality Products!
I gotta say, I ordered this map from Omnimap and it was outta print. But, get this, the site said it was still in stock! I was skeptical, but I went ahead and ordered it anyways. And you know what? It arrived in less than a week! Can you believe that? And it was packed real good, too. The map itself was a raised relief map, and it was just what I needed. I'm definitely gonna do business with them again. I don't usually write reviews, but I had to do it this time to counter all them negative ones out there. Omnimap is the real deal, folks.
Double Charged for Survey Marker: My Experience with Omnimap
So, I bought this survey marker from Omnimap in November of last year, and I gotta say, I was pretty excited to get it. I mean, who wouldn't be, right? But then, come January of this year, I noticed that I had been charged twice for the same purchase. Now, I'm no math whiz, but I'm pretty sure that's not how it's supposed to work.
I tried calling the phone number listed on the website, but no one ever got back to me. I mean, come on, guys, what's the deal? I was starting to get pretty frustrated, to be honest. I mean, I just wanted to get this sorted out and move on with my life.
In the end, I had to contact my bank and report the issue. It was a hassle, to be sure, but at least I got my money back. And hey, I did end up getting my survey marker, so I guess that's something.
All in all, though, I have to say that the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I mean, the charges were just so sketchy, you know? I'm not sure I'd be willing to take the risk of buying from Omnimap again in the future.
Terrible Customer Service and Disrespectful Emails from Omnimap - Not Recommended
So, I was trying to buy some maps from Omnimap, and let me tell you, it was not a pleasant experience. I spent over $100 on these maps, and the emails I got back from them were just plain rude. They talked down to me, made fun of things I said, and were just downright disrespectful.
I tried to report the representative who was sending me these emails, but guess what? He was the manager! Can you believe that? The person in charge of the whole operation was treating me like garbage.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend buying anything from Omnimap. They clearly don't care about their customers, and they're not afraid to show it. If I could give them a zero rating, I would. Save yourself the trouble and find a different place to buy your maps.
Omnimap Review: Unfulfilled Orders and Unresponsive Customer Service
So, I gotta say, I had a bit of a rough experience with Omnimap. A while back, I was lookin' for a map of Sweden that wasn't exactly easy to find. I found it on their website, but when I tried to order it, I got an email sayin' it wasn't in stock. No big deal, right? But then, weeks turned into months, and that dang map was still listed as "out of stock" on their site. What gives, Omnimap?
Fast forward to this year, and I decided to give 'em another shot. I ordered two copies of a wine map of California, and got an email sayin' they got my order. But then...nothing. No maps arrived, and none of my emails got a response, even when I tried to reach out to the big boss himself. I mean, come on, Omnimap, what kind of business doesn't fulfill orders or respond to customers?
Honestly, at this point, I'm not sure what to think. They've got my credit card info, but I ain't got no maps. It's makin' me wonder if they're even a legit company or just some kinda scammer. I mean, I ain't no expert, but I know when somethin' smells fishy.
Mixed Review: Good Map, Poor Customer Service from Omnimap.com
So, I went ahead and kept the map. The first map I received was pretty good quality and helped me navigate my way through some tricky terrain. However, I was disappointed with the lack of communication from Omnimap.com. It's frustrating when you're trying to plan a trip and you don't know if you're going to receive the necessary materials in time. And then, when you try to cancel or return something, you don't get any response. It's just not good customer service.
But, like I said, the map itself was good. It had a lot of detail and was easy to read. I was able to find my way around without too much trouble. I just wish the customer service was better. It's important to be able to communicate with your customers and respond to their needs. I don't think I'll be ordering from Omnimap.com again, but if you're willing to take a chance on their customer service, the maps themselves are decent.
Unbeatable Selection of Raised Relief Maps from Around the World
This company is really something else. They got all the raised relief maps you could ever want in one place. I mean, they got all them USGS 1:250,000 quads, even the hard-to-find ones. And that ain't all, they got maps from other countries, states, the whole world, and more. The website is easy to figure out and they do a good job telling you about what they got. Only thing is, their index map for them 1:250,000 quads ain't up-to-date on what's available. But other than that, it's all good!
Unreliable and Unprofessional: My Experience with Omnimap
I ordered a bunch of maps from Omnimap, which I had to get from overseas. They said it would take 3 weeks to get to me, but I ended up waiting for 3 whole months! I finally gave up and cancelled my order. The only good thing is that they don't charge your credit card until they actually send the stuff out.
Honestly, I don't think Omnimap is very professional. They act like they know what they're doing, but really they're just trying to trick you. Their parent company, Eastview, is the same way. They say they have lots of maps and atlases, but then they can't actually get them for you. It's a real bummer.
Omnimap Review: Slow Delivery, Better to Buy Maps Online
I bought two maps from Omnimap, a state map and a city map. I was really excited to get them so I could send them to my family overseas. They were planning a trip to come visit me in my state and I thought it would be really helpful for them to have these maps. I was hoping to get them delivered to my place so I could personally ship them out to my family. However, it took a really long time for the maps to arrive.
I waited for two whole months for the maps to arrive. I was getting really impatient and frustrated. I wanted to send the maps to my family as soon as possible, but I couldn't do that until I received them. So, I decided to order the same or similar maps from Amazon. I didn't choose any special shipping option, just the cheapest one. To my surprise, the maps arrived in just three days! I was really happy to receive them so quickly.
I immediately sent the maps to my family overseas. I was worried that it would take a long time for them to receive the shipment, but it only took two weeks. The shipment was sent by SEA, which is usually slower than air mail. I was really surprised that it took less time for the maps to get to my family from Amazon than it did for me to receive them from Omnimap.
I think that Omnimap may eventually deliver the maps, but it takes a really long time. If you want to receive your maps in a timely fashion, I suggest that you search for them online or go to Amazon. You'll have better luck finding what you need and getting it quickly.

Omnimap is a website that sells maps and other related items. They are based in Burlington, NC and have a wide range of maps available for purchase. If you are looking for detailed and hard-to-find maps of various places in the USA and other countries, then Omnimap is the place to go. However, be careful not to confuse them with Omni Resources, a tech-project consulting group, as their websites are quite similar.
One of the unique offerings of Omnimap is their bicycle guides. If you are planning to travel by bike and want more detailed information on the places you will be seeing en route, then Omnimap has got you covered. They also offer historical maps, relief maps, topographical maps, flags, pins, globes, postcards, and more.
The website design is not the best, and I found the search feature difficult to work with. However, with a little trial-and-error effort, it can be managed. The order process is fairly straightforward, and communication with the company can be done via mail, phone, or email.
I did have one issue with Omnimap, which caused me to mark my review down a point. The company failed to respond to my email requesting a status update on my order. I was getting close to the departure time for my trip and wanted to know if my maps had shipped or not. As it turned out, they arrived in time, and I was able to use them on my trip. Despite this issue, I found the service satisfactory overall.
In conclusion, if you are looking for detailed and hard-to-find maps, then Omnimap is a great place to start. They have a wide range of maps available, including bicycle guides, historical maps, relief maps, topographical maps, flags, pins, globes, postcards, and more. While their website design could use some improvement, the order process is straightforward, and their customer service is satisfactory.
