Saw advertised price on contacts with a coupon for $15 a box . Went thru the whole process of ordering get ready to check out says total is $111 total. Then hit ship order and then that page said $247 .They added on a $89 processing fee and $19 shipping . OptiContacts Opticontacts Review: Unreliable Service and Long Wait Times for Back-Ordered Contacts

Opticontacts is not a good choice for those who need their contacts in a timely manner. I had a bad experience with this company and they were full of excuses. I placed my order on August 13th and received the back-ordered email the next day, which was expected based on other reviews. However, it took 13 days for me to receive a shipping notice with a tracking number on August 26th. When I checked the tracking number, the post office had no record of it. I waited for an update, but none came. Finally, on August 31st, the post office received the package, which was 13 business days after the back-ordered message.

It's now September 3rd, and I might receive my contacts on the 4th or 5th. Meanwhile, I ordered 6 pairs of glasses and 1 box of astigmatism contacts from other companies, and even though the contacts were back-ordered there too, I received them much faster than Opticontacts. This is unacceptable, and I would not recommend doing business with Opticontacts unless you have over a month to wait.

I understand that every company can experience backorders, but Opticontacts is much worse than others. Their service is not reliable, and they make excuses instead of taking responsibility for their mistakes. If you need your contacts quickly, I suggest looking elsewhere.

OptiContacts OptiContacts Review: A Dishonest Company That Cannot Be Trusted

This company, OptiContacts, is not to be trusted. They are a complete scam. I had a terrible experience with them when I ordered contacts from their website. They didn't indicate that the contacts were out of stock when I placed my order, but later told me that they were. I needed the contacts for my trip abroad, and they assured me that they would arrive on time. But they didn't.

When I called them to ask about my order, they didn't have any information and told me that the contacts would arrive within the next 10 days. I was frustrated, but I decided to wait. I thought that I could have a friend bring the contacts to me when he visited me in Brazil the following month. But the contacts never arrived.

I started emailing OptiContacts to ask about my order, but they didn't respond. When I finally got a response, they posed as me to the United States Postal Service and said that I was dissatisfied with the delivery job. But the shipping code they gave wasn't even in the Postal Service's system.

I asked for a refund, but they said that they weren't responsible. They blamed the Postal Service for the missing contacts. But I know that they stole my money and didn't send me the contacts that I ordered.

I would never recommend OptiContacts to anyone. They are a dishonest company that will take your money and blame others for their mistakes. Don't waste your time or money on this company.

OptiContacts Poor Customer Service and Communication from OptiContacts

I've been using contacts for a long time and I gotta say, my experience with OptiContacts was not the best. I was waiting for my contacts to arrive for a couple of weeks and I was starting to get worried. I didn't receive any emails from the company about any issues with my order, so I was confused. I checked my bank account and saw that my card was charged 4 days after I placed my order. I was using my last pair of contacts, so I was getting concerned after 2 weeks.

I decided to call the company and the representative told me that they couldn't process my order because my prescription had expired. I was shocked because no one ever notified me about it. I asked the representative why my card was charged 4 days later and he said that they sent me an email. I checked my email every single day and I never received anything from them. Who would ever wait for a delivery if they sent me an email? The representative didn't seem to care much and he didn't try to help me out. It was the worst customer service experience I've ever had.

I'm definitely going to let all my friends know about this experience so they don't use this company. It's frustrating to have to deal with a company that doesn't communicate with their customers properly. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.

OptiContacts OptiContacts Review: Hidden Fees and Deceptive Practices

This website, OptiContacts, is not a good place to buy contact lenses. They try to trick you by hiding fees until after you have already paid for your order. I ordered lenses that cost about $115, but then I found out that there was a processing fee of $24.41. That's almost 25% more than the price I thought I was paying!

The worst part is that they don't even tell you about the fee until after you have already paid for your order. They don't show it in the shopping cart or on the checkout screen. They don't even mention it in the confirmation email you get after you place your order. The only way to find out about the fee is to ask for a special receipt, which they don't send automatically.

I don't like it when companies try to hide fees like this. It's not fair to the customer. I won't be buying anything from OptiContacts again.

OptiContacts OptiContacts Review: Hidden Handling Fee Scam

I just bought a 90-day supply of contacts from OptiContacts and used a coupon that made the price seem really good at $40.48 per box. The shipping fee was $9.95, which I thought was fair enough considering the price of each box. However, when my contacts arrived, I was shocked to see that I was charged an additional $48.58 for "handling". This handling fee was not included in my purchase when I ordered, and there is no way I would have agreed to pay such a high amount for handling on top of a $90 order. I feel like I've been scammed.

I'm currently waiting for their customer service to open so I can get an RMA number and return instructions. I have a sneaking suspicion that the handling fee will not be refundable, but I hope I'm wrong. I would advise anyone to avoid this website as they are clearly scammers.

Update: I contacted customer service and was able to obtain a return label. When I specifically asked if the handling fee would also be refunded, I was told that the entire amount would be refunded. I asked for this in writing and received an email from the customer service representative. I'm not sure if this will mean anything, but I returned the contacts and now I'm waiting to see if I'll be refunded. My advice to anyone is to shop somewhere that is upfront about their prices. It would save you a lot of trouble and frustration.

OptiContacts Terrible Customer Service and Delayed Shipping from OptiContacts

I recently ordered contacts from OptiContacts on January 4th. I had to make a correction to my prescription, so I called customer service on January 8th. The guy who helped me was really nice and helpful. On January 13th, I received an email saying that my contacts were being shipped. However, the company waited until the last minute to ship my order, even though they promised a 3-day processing time. I understand that the USPS can be slow, but it was frustrating to wait so long for my contacts.

Finally, on January 20th, I was told that my contacts would be delivered the next day. I called customer service to express my frustration, but they didn't seem to care. They weren't willing to do anything to make up for the inconvenience I experienced. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told that there was no one else to talk to. I decided to cancel my order, but the supervisor didn't seem to care about that either. She told me that I would be refunded when the shipment was returned, but I would have to pay for shipping.

Overall, my experience with OptiContacts was terrible. If you want better customer service and faster delivery, I would recommend using a different company.

OptiContacts OptiContacts Rebate Scam? My Experience & Outcome

So, I gotta tell you guys about my experience with OptiContacts. I was pretty excited when I saw their website advertising a $120 rebate offer on Acuvue Oaysys contacts. I mean, who doesn't love a good deal, right? So, I went ahead and made a purchase of $325.51 on October 19, 2021.

Fast forward to a week later, I decided to email them to ask when I would receive the rebate. They told me that it would take 90 days from the purchase date. Okay, fair enough. But then, yesterday (January 4, 2022), I called them up to check on the status of my rebate. And guess what? They told me that I would receive an email by January 14, 2022 about a CREDIT with OptiContacts.com, not a REBATE!

Now, I don't know about you guys, but a rebate and a credit are not the same thing. A rebate is a partial refund for the purchase of an item, typically from the manufacturer. It's an incentive to buy. A credit, on the other hand, is just money that you can use to buy more stuff from the same business. And let's be real here, why would I want a credit with a business that runs rebate scams?!

I tried to explain the difference to the customer service representative I spoke to, but they just told me that the offer had been "pulled from their site" and promised to speak to billing and then call me back before 5 p.m. But, surprise surprise, I never received that phone call.

I was pretty upset about the whole thing, but then something unexpected happened. OptiContacts issued me a $120 refund! They explained that if you "mouse over" the rebate offer on their site, it explains that the rebate is actually a credit. I was pretty impressed with the professionalism of Sylvia, the CSR supervisor who called me.

So, while my initial experience with OptiContacts was pretty frustrating, I have to say that I'm satisfied with the outcome. I would still caution others to be careful when dealing with rebate offers on their site, but I'm glad that they were able to make things right in the end.

OptiContacts OptiContacts Review: Delayed Delivery and Poor Communication

I ordered contacts from OptiContacts two weeks ago and I still haven't received them. I called three times to check on the status of my order, but each time I got a different answer. The first person I spoke to said there was a delay because I ordered a full year's supply. I understand that things can get delayed, but they should have let me know instead of leaving me in the dark. The second person said my contacts were on their way out the door, and the third person said they were already out the door. But regardless of where they are, they're not at my doorstep.

I was promised email notifications, but I never received any. I had to do all the reaching out myself, and it was all in vain. I've been without contacts this whole time, which is really frustrating. The discount I got wasn't worth the wait, especially since I wasn't informed about the delay. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was nice, but that doesn't make up for the fact that I didn't get what I paid for. I hate wearing my glasses and I hate waiting on hold for agents to tell me they're sorry about my not getting what I paid for. It's been a miserable experience.

I should have just gone to my optometrist, who offered me a better discount that Acuvue only offers through doctors. I passed it up to search for a better deal online, but now I regret it. My doctor's office usually handles everything for me, and I would have had my Acuvue Oysas at my front door in days with a $200 discount. I was a fool to trust OptiContacts instead. I paid more for inconvenience, discomfort, and consternation. This company is not to be trusted. I recommend finding a trustworthy optometrist instead.

I recently had an experience with OptiContacts that left me feeling misled and frustrated. When I placed my order for contact lenses, I noticed a $7.95 shipping fee on my receipt, which seemed reasonable. When I complained about the charges, she suggested that she could send me a revised receipt with a one penny handling charge and raise the price of the contacts. I was shocked and had to end the call.

As an attorney who deals with consumer law, I have never encountered a company as manipulative and misleading as OptiContacts. It's clear that they prioritize their profits over their customers' satisfaction. While some people may be happy with their experience, it's unacceptable for a company to treat their customers this way.

In conclusion, I would not recommend OptiContacts to anyone. Their misleading practices and unhelpful customer service make them a company to avoid. I never thought I would consider suing someone over $45, but I believe that they need to be held accountable for their actions.

OptiContacts OptiContacts Review: Good Selection and Fast Shipping, but Prices Have Increased and Customer Service Could Improve

OptiContacts used to be cheaper, but now their prices have gone up. I used to be able to get my contacts for a much lower price, but now I have to pay more. It's frustrating because I don't want to spend more money than I have to, but I also need my contacts.

Despite the price increase, I still use OptiContacts because they have a good selection of contacts and they ship quickly. I've never had any issues with my orders and they always arrive on time.

One thing I wish they would improve on is their customer service. I've had a few questions in the past and it took a while to get a response. It would be nice if they had a faster response time or a live chat option.

Overall, I would recommend OptiContacts if you're looking for a reliable place to buy contacts. Just be aware that their prices have gone up and their customer service could be improved.

OptiContacts Opticontacts Review: Low Prices, Low Quality, Terrible Customer Service

I gotta say, I wasn't too impressed with Opticontacts. I mean, I was excited to try them out because of their low prices, but boy was I disappointed. I got my first order of lenses and I had to keep changing the left one every week because it seemed like the prescription was getting weaker by the day. It was so frustrating! I decided to try the last contact with the same prescription from discountcontacts.com and guess what? The strength lasted over my normal 30 day routine. I was so relieved!

But, I didn't want to give up on Opticontacts just yet. I thought maybe it was just a fluke, so about two weeks ago, I placed another order with them. And let me tell you, the customer service was just terrible. My order was placed on hold after the delivery date saying it was out of stock. I waited and waited for weeks, but I have yet to receive any kind of update on my order. It's like they don't even care about their customers.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Opticontacts to anyone. It's just not worth the hassle. I know the prices are tempting, but trust me, pay a little extra for your peace of mind and better quality contacts. You'll thank me later.

OptiContacts Opticontacts.com Review: Hidden Fees and Frustrating Website

I've been a customer of opticontacts.com for a few years now and I gotta say, they have what I need. But let me tell you, every time I order contacts, I end up feeling frustrated. I mean, who likes hidden fees? It's like they're trying to trick me or something. Just be upfront about it or add it to the original price, you know? It's not cool. You're going through the motions, adding items to your cart, and then bam! Insurance and handling fee. Not happy about that, not one bit.

And don't even get me started on the website. I'm pretty good with computers, but for some reason, I can never find what I'm looking for on this site. It's like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Simple things like adding contacts for multiple people shouldn't be so difficult. After adding one to the cart, it doesn't even give you the option to continue shopping. You have to go back and research your contact brand all over again. And don't even get me started on trying to use a code for a special they had. I searched high and low and couldn't figure it out.

But hey, at the end of the day, I do get what I need from opticontacts.com. I just wish they could make the process a little smoother and be more upfront about their fees.

OptiContacts OptiContacts Review: Communication Issues with Delivery and Refund Process

I had a bit of a problem with OptiContacts when they delivered my contacts to the wrong address. I had to call customer service four or five times to try and sort it out. They kept telling me that they delivered to my PayPal address, but that was different from the address I gave them when I placed my order. One of the reps kept repeating himself over and over, saying that they couldn't issue a refund until they received the contacts back. I just wanted to cancel and get my money back, but they wouldn't let me.

After a lot of back and forth, I finally figured out that the contacts had been delivered to the wrong address. I had to go to the post office and investigate myself. It was a real hassle, and I never got any notification or email about the return. It was frustrating, but I eventually got my money back.

Overall, I think OptiContacts could do a better job of communicating with their customers. It would have been nice to get an email or something letting me know that there was a problem with my order. But in the end, they did refund my money, so I can't complain too much.

I gotta say, I'm not a fan of the handling fee that OptiContacts charges. It feels like a sneaky way to make their prices seem lower than they actually are. But let me tell you, once you factor in that fee, their prices are actually pretty darn good. So why not just advertise the true price upfront? I'm not stupid - I'm gonna compare prices no matter what, and I'd be more likely to stick with OptiContacts if they were transparent about their pricing.

It's frustrating that every time I need to buy contacts, I have to go through the hassle of comparing prices from different vendors. And even when I find a good deal, there's no guarantee that the same vendor will have the best price next time. It's a real pain in the you-know-what. If OptiContacts could consistently offer the best or at least a comparably low price, I'd be more than happy to stick with them. OptiContacts Disappointing Experience: Inconsistent Prices and Confusing Policies

This website is not very good. I couldn't find any information about not being able to use a voucher and a coupon code together. I talked to a customer service person and they said it was because the system won't let you do it. But if that's the case, why can't you add both of them anyway? Also, I found different prices for the same thing online. I saw an ad on Google for the contacts I needed for $13.78 and I ordered them at that price. But if I just went to the website without the ad, the price was $29.99. That doesn't make any sense. Why would the price be different? I had a hard time with the website and the price not being right after I used my discount and voucher. If I hadn't found the $13.78 price on Google, I probably wouldn't have ordered from this company.

OptiContacts Disappointing Experience with OptiContacts: Delayed Shipping, Poor Communication, and Frustrating Cancellation Process

Ordered my contacts from OptiContacts after getting my new prescription. Waited for two weeks and still no shipping confirmation. I was getting worried and decided to reach out to them. Luckily, I received an email coupon from them so I responded to it and asked about my order. They responded and told me to wait for one more week. I was a bit disappointed but I decided to wait. A week later, I still haven't received any updates about my order. I decided to email them again and this time, they told me that it would take two more weeks. I was starting to get frustrated at this point.

I decided to cancel my order and called them. The customer service representative was polite and told me that I would receive an email confirmation shortly. However, six hours later, I still haven't received any confirmation. I called them back and asked about it. They told me that the cancellation email would be sent by the following morning. I was getting impatient and decided to call them for the third time. I threatened to get my bank involved and finally, the cancellation email showed up while I was on the phone with them.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with OptiContacts. It's better to pay a little more from a reputable site than have to be jerked around for a month and then, have to go somewhere else for contacts. I hope they improve their customer service in the future.

OptiContacts Deceptive Fees: My Disappointing Experience with OptiContacts

I used to get my contacts from OptiContacts, but I won't be doing that again! They say they have cheap prices, but be careful of their "insurance and processing fee". I put 2 boxes of regular price contacts in my cart and both the shipping fee and the insurance and processing fee were lower than when the SAME 2 BOXES of contacts were on sale price. This company will make their money by raising their insurance and processing fees and shipping fees on "sale" contacts so you are not getting the sale price at ALL! This is completely deceiving and I will never order from them again! I have included photos of how the insurance and processing fee changed for the same contacts lens based on whether you are paying regular price or "sale price" from $8.26 to $26.38. Also shipping changed from $9.95 to $12.95 for same 2 boxes. Absolutely ridiculous!

I mean, come on, OptiContacts! You can't just trick people like that! It's not fair to advertise a sale and then hike up the fees so much that you're not even saving any money. I thought I was getting a good deal, but it turns out I was just getting ripped off. And it's not like the fees were just a little bit higher, they were WAY higher. I don't know how they can justify charging so much for something that should be included in the price.

I'm really disappointed in OptiContacts. I used to recommend them to my friends, but now I wouldn't even tell them to bother. It's just not worth it. I don't want anyone else to get tricked like I did. So if you're thinking about ordering from OptiContacts, just be careful. Make sure you check the fees before you buy anything. And if you do end up getting ripped off, don't say I didn't warn you!

OptiContacts OptiContacts Review: Don't Be Fooled by Promotions, Hidden Fees Will Double Your Cost

So, I was on Google trying to find some Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism contacts, and I saw OptiContacts pop up on the shopping list. They had a box marked at $13.99, which seemed like a steal. I mean, who wouldn't want to save some money, right? But, boy was I wrong! The promotion was running, but it was too good to be true. I decided to order 10 boxes, 5 per eye, and at checkout, I was hit with a bunch of extra fees.

The subtotal was $489.90, which was already a lot more than I was expecting. But then, I saw the "Insurance and processing" fee of $146.20. What even is that? I thought it might be related to eye insurance, but nope. Apparently, it includes shipping insurance, processing, and handling fees. I mean, come on, shouldn't that be included in the product fee? And, to make matters worse, the free shipping on orders over $99 was a lie.

The total cost per box ended up being $29.357, which is double the promotional price. I was so disappointed and felt like I had been scammed. I mean, who wouldn't feel that way? I was expecting to save some money, but instead, I ended up spending more than I would have if I had gone to a different website.

So, my advice to you is to not buy from OptiContacts. They are not to be trusted, and their prices are not what they seem. I learned my lesson, and I hope you don't have to go through the same thing.

OptiContacts OptiContacts Review: Misleading Prices and Terrible Customer Service

So, I had an experience with OptiContacts and let me tell you, it was not a good one. I was all set to place an order on Friday after making sure that they didn't have any sneaky "processing" fees. I had even called them on Thursday and was told that "the price you see is what you will pay." But when I tried to fill out the order form, the prices and details kept changing so I had to keep filling it out multiple times. It was frustrating to say the least.

Finally, I decided to call them again and the same representative that I spoke with the day before answered. Unfortunately, things did not go well and I ended up requesting that they delete all of my information. Needless to say, I have no plans of ever becoming a new customer of theirs. And to make matters worse, I received an automated email from them on Sunday. Ugh.

Now, let's talk about the prices. The per box price listed as an Online Promo was just under $23, which seemed like a good deal. And somewhere on their website, it said that shipping is always free when you spend over $99. So, I was planning on buying 6 boxes, which was more than I originally intended to buy. But when I was about to check out, this dishonest company added surprise charges and the total amount was just under $300! That's when I called them and got a super runaround. Let me tell you, you should definitely avoid this company.

Overall, my experience with OptiContacts was a complete disaster. The prices were misleading and the customer service was terrible. I would not recommend them to anyone.

OptiContacts OptiContacts Review: Hidden Fees and Overcharging Customers

I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with OptiContacts. I decided to give them another chance, even though the last time I used their site, things didn't go so smoothly. And guess what? I was disappointed yet again.

First off, last time I used their site, they charged me more than what was listed in my cart. I didn't even notice until it was too late, and I ended up paying almost $40 more than I thought I would. Not cool, OptiContacts.

This time, I was trying to order four boxes of contacts at $24.95 each. Seemed like a good deal, right? Well, my cart total after the discount was $99.80, which was fine. But then I went to put in my shipping address, and the expedited shipping was $12.99. Okay, I can deal with that. But then my total shot up to almost $200! Why? Because they charged me $79.99 in "taxes and fees." What even are those fees for? I have no idea, and the website doesn't make it clear at all.

I mean, a $10 processing fee is one thing, but almost $80 in fees? That's just ridiculous. Needless to say, I didn't complete the purchase this time around. I caught the change in total before finishing checkout, thank goodness.

OptiContacts left eye contact

I've had three contacts tear and they are all from the same box! I am so frustrated! Now I'll have to purchase another box to use. I purchased these from Opti Contacts. They have not been helpful at all. They told me you have to call Accuvue if they are tearing. Did not give me a phone number or anything. Will not be using them again!
Please resolve this situation ASAP.

OptiContacts I ordered one box of soft contact lenses and received two invoices for the same contact lens order for a second order.

I ordered one box of contact lenses after I had a cornea transplant on my left eye (as a piggy back for my gas permeable lens). I checked the opticontacts website and noticed that there are two invoices from opticontacts website, both with different prices, the least invoice cost is in the amount of $41.48. The most expensive invoice is in the amount of $48.43. I only need one box for this year (2019). I need to return the 2nd box before the lens warranty expires 90 days after the order was placed.

OptiContacts expensive

I wanted to order from this website but changed my mind when I saw the prices. OptiContacts has to be kidding, no one with a common sense would order anything from OptiContacts! They have crazy shipping costs and they also have a order processing fee! What kind of fee is that, first time I ever see such a fee!
So, let's count together, your order + shipping + processing fee! That's way to expensive! And according to all the reviews I saw their products are poorly made. I would not recommend OptiContacts to anyone!

I found Opticontact pricing to be extremely misleading too. Who ever heard of a $73 processing and insurance fee on an $80 order! You don't see the $73 processing fee until you get to the last screen. It should be shown before you enter credit card information. I think their practice is very unethical.

OptiContacts a lot of hidden charges

People, be aware that the company www.opticontacts.com have too many hidden charges. I registered on the website and they immediately charged me for $80 for prescription. After that they charged me for the order. Another sum was taken from me was for the shipping. Seriously, they haven’t warned me about so many charges. If I knew about them, I wouldn’t order from them.

OptiContacts they have hidden fees

I found the website www.opticontacts.com and decided to order lenses from them. The prices were small and the delivery wasn’t expensive. But they took hidden fees and the seller hasn’t mentioned these charges before. They took higher sum for the delivery and some processing fee. I don’t know what it means. I was so upset that I believed them and tried to save money, but wasted larger sum.

OptiContacts no communication and delivery as well

I won’t recommend anyone to buy from the website www.opticontacts.com. I placed the order and the prices were really too high. As well as the seller promised free delivery, but in reality he charged me for it as well. Also he didn’t respond to my emails and still no delivery. I don’t know what to do now. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Can you provide any good piece of advice?
