Patient Assist by New Choice Health Researching prices for my gall bladder surgery left me in a shambles

Researching prices for my gall bladder surgery left me in a shambles. I was underinsured and running out of options. I found Patient Assist online and it took mere minutes to apply and be connected to a member of their team. Kelsey reached out that same day and got me a fantastic surgeon and an all-in-one inclusive package that included the initial visit, doctor, facility, anesthesiology, and pathology for $5,000! I reached out to Patient Assist due to needing a colonoscopy and having a high deductible which I could not afford to pay. I was very skeptical at first and wasn't sure if Patient Assist was real. After a lot of research on the company to make sure they were legit, I scheduled my procedure. Patient Assist was very thorough and the physician practice they scheduled me at was great and very clean! I recommend reaching out to Patient Assist and to not delay your medical care due to the cost! I was able to have my procedure schedule within weeks, they even helped with this whole process!

Wonderful helped me so much and saved me money. I needed emergency gallbladder removal and had no insurance our hospital wanted 15,000 up front. I found Patient Assist and everything was done for 5800. I had a wonderful surgeon and surgery center in Las Vegas. Patient Assist was fantastic in helping me through the whole experience. Please if you need medical treatment and can't afford it I highly recommend Patient Assist

I don't usually do reviews, but when a service is as outstanding as what I experienced with Patient Assist, I can make an exception and add my voice to the voices of so many other satisfied patients. I was in need of hernia surgery. As a member of a Christian health-care sharing ministry *** and technically a "cash pay" patient, I did not relish haggling with the billing departments of hospitals and other medical providers over the procedure. I found the Patient Assist website through a resource called Health Care Bluebook provided by Samaritan Ministries to its members. Patient Assist is everything it says it is. It connected me with a surgeon at a surgical center in my area that was expert, professional, and clean. The surgical center provided a consultation, facility fee, physician fee, mesh, anesthesia fee, and follow-up appointment at a remarkably discounted price. The Patient Assist Care Coordinator, Kelsey, handled the process every step of the way with her "service with a smile" manner. After the surgery and follow-up appointment two weeks later, she provided me with a simple itemized bill that I could present to Samaritan Ministries. This is a great example of what a free-market healthcare system can accomplish. I will definitely call upon Patient Assist again when I have need of any future medical procedures.

Patient Assist by New Choice Health These folks were fabulous

These folks were fabulous. I had no insurance and needed a hernia repair surgery. I honestly expected tremendous expense but I needed help. I spoke with a representative from Patient Assist by New Choice Health and was really a bit surprised how reassuring and precise his procedure elaboration and cost assessment was. They organized an elite surgeon and facility and it all went great. I am truly thankful... the cost was very competitive and I did not have to pay anything in excess of what was quoted. Three weeks after surgery I am nearly 100% back. I will definitely reach out to them if any of my family members or friends needed a procedure. Thank you again. Great service!

Patient Assist was incredibly helpful. They found my procedure at half the price of all the ones I had researched. They handled everything, including when I ran into communication problems over scheduling with the provider. Also, they are providing all the itemized bills so that I can submit them to my health cost sharing group (Christian Healthcare Ministries.).

We found Patient Assist when checking internet prices for a surgery, as our local health care provider gave us a large quote, and we didn't have insurance. Patient Assist was able to find a provider in our state for half the price being offered at our local provider. They answered all our questions, and they took care of all the billing. The facility that we were referred to was a top of the line surgery center across the street from a hospital. We were very satisfied with our experience, and would recommend Patient Assist to others.

My name is John Smith. Patient Assist is providing health care related services that are very beneficial to me as a new patient and customer. I am happy and grateful for their professionalism, courtesy and prompt services to assist me with my health needs from the very beginning of matching my need with their affiliated health provider to the end. The whole process is clearly explained with steps and procedures, and costs and fees. Whenever my questions, concerns or issues are raised, they are satisfactorily explained, addressed, and resolved. I would strongly recommend their service and wish they could add more additional cost saving health services.

The screening process was smooth. The representatives kept me up-to-date throughout the entire process both via email and phone follow-up. Patient Assist explained the process to me every step of the way and kept me informed on what should happen next. They partnered with an excellent surgical group who were knowledgeable, courteous, compassionate and had a very clean surgical facility. Everything went as expected. Being a case manager myself, I will recommend Patient Assist to my clients who are without insurance and require additional resources.

This past November I started my search for health care provider since my husband was in need of hernia surgery. We don't have health insurance and few options that were available for us had about $8000 deductible and around $600 premium. We saved some money and started to look into option available to us without insurance, it was important that surgery takes place in January since my husband is a mason and needed time to recover before going back to work in a spring. Cook County health care system came out as overwhelming and highly incompetent, peddling 8 months of tests and about 16 different vaccinations until potential surgery could take place. It was most affordable but considering sacrifice of one's dignity after one visit we decided we would rather postpone surgery. We were lost and the hardest part was to get connected to an affordable and trustworthy clinic. I found Patient Assist online and it seemed too good to be true. After few hours of research I decided I have nothing to loose. Their response was quick and professional. After an e mail and a phone call we were ready to proceed. The whole experience was amazing! Kelsey and her team were kind and patient. They connected us to a professional and friendly clinic in Chicago suburbs. The whole process was transparent, and we had PA support every step of the way. Surgery took place within 2 weeks from contacting them and there was no hustle with additional health screenings ( since we would have to pay out of pocket), and even when final cost was bit higher than additional quote it was still on a lower side of what is a standard hernia surgery price in Chicago area. I'm happy to recommend Patient assist to everyone, but especially to people without health insurance. It will save you so much time, money and your dignity will be intact.

Patient Assist by New Choice Health I was referred to Victoria with Patient Assist and couldn't be happier

I was referred to Victoria with Patient Assist and couldn't be happier. They saved me almost $5,000 over the best price I could get in the marketplace. I am an insurance agent and know how to do my homework to check credentials and prices to make sure things are fair.
The credentials of my Surgeon and the Surgery center were awesome, the care was excellent and Patient Assist even offered a special 6 months same as cash financing option through a program they helped me find. I will always call them first before having any procedure done to see if they have a relationship established in my area.
Can't thank them enough for being so helpful, kind and professional.

Patient Assist by New Choice Health I needed a routine hernia surgery

I needed a routine hernia surgery. Not having insurance, I had no idea how to pull together the right team: a surgeon, an anesthesiologist, a hospital and support staff. But Patient Assist by New Choice Health popped up in a Google search for surgeons in the Dallas area. PA-NCH shows the power of the Internet to bring new and unexpected services. PA-NCH had a comprehensive package to provide the care I needed in my local area in an effective and affordable way. PA-NCH set me up with an excellent surgeon, Dr. Chad Carlton of Plano, Texas. He had a lot of experience, and he knew what he was doing. PA-NCH pulled this procedure together at Texas Health Resources, a leading hospital group here in North Texas. The whole process was surprisingly smooth. It worked the way PA-NCH said it would work. The PA-NCH staff kept in touch with me each step of the way.

Patient Assist by New Choice Health Finding Patient Assist was such an awesome thing for my life!

Finding Patient Assist was such an awesome thing for my life! I had gallbladder problems for a few years & they were getting much worse, because I had no insurance & couldn't afford a surgery. A nurse at my gynecologist's office mentioned this program, so I looked it up, signed up by the next day, got my labs done, & was scheduled for surgery within a week! I was able to get a 0% interest deal to cover the payment to Patient Assist up front & take 6 months to pay it off. All the bills went to them, not me, so there was no stress about all that after the surgery. It was glorious! I bill ended up coming because of the facility sending labs to the wrong place, but I emailed a picture to Patient Assist & they dealt with them to get it taken care of. I was able to email questions with good response time, & they even called to check on me before & after the procedure! Everyone was wonderfully nice & knew their job! I highly recommend this to those who can use it!

I had been suffering a very long time with my gallbladder, but I avoided having anything done due to not having insurance. the out of pocket cost from various doctors and hospitals was way too much for my finances. So I just did what most Americans without insurance do... live with the pain. Sadly, that's the reality of our country. BUT, after enough was enough and the pain was too sever I had to make a decision on my health. I don't more doctors and hospitals don't share this information with non-insured people rather then just sending us away, uneducated about all the options out there us?!? Long story short, I had THE BEST service from Kelsey, who was my direct contact. She was caring about my situation and more then willing to go above and beyond to help me figure out my next steps. She took every step and process slowly with me so I was clear on all the details. Even after the surgery, she contacted me for follow up. And I don't mean for paperwork follow up, but truly for simply asking how I was recovering. Above and Beyond. Very happy with this service and will be sharing this with all my uninsured friends and family!

Patient Assist by New Choice Health Had a torn medial meniscus

Had a torn medial meniscus. I went an had an MRI for $250 here in Houston, TX and and tried to see an orthopedist. They wanted $500 dollars for the consult and wouldn't give me a ballpark on pricing until I came in (I've been down that road where they "Hose" you once you sit down). That's scary especially when you don't have insurance and I didn't have time to play games or give away $500 cash for 5 minute consult.

So, I submitted MRI to Patient Assist by New Choice Health. She came back quickly with a price of $6,800 for everything. I was like... no one in America will give me a price, but she did!

I had been pricing out surgery in Mexico and they came in at $7,550 and $8,000 dollars, so needless to say, I had the procedure done here.

Dr. *** and his staff were great, too! His OR nurse was tops! The anesthesiologist was great as well.

Patient Assist by New Choice Health and staff were great! They were very helpful. It will have been one month tomorrow. I'm so much better and not in pain anymore. I'm still on the road to recovery, but I can't wait to get back on the basketball court and referee without pain.

I was very nervous, but this was as painless as possible (no pun intended). Give them a try whether you do or don't have insurance. You might be surprised!

In researching options for a colonoscopy for my husband, we were so fortunate to find New Choice Health in terms of cost and care. As self-employed people, we had originally thought to return to our usual gastroenterologist, whom we had used when we had company insurance. However, it was exceedingly difficult to find out what the actual cost of said procedure would be. After two weeks of calling a number of offices, we found that the cost was in the $5600.00 range. No clear prices were ever given. No one seemed to really care about answering our questions. We felt like a cog in a machine. Meanwhile, we had stumbled upon New Choice Health. Initially we were skeptical, but decided to leave no stone unturned. From the first phone call, there was an overwhelming difference. The friendly, professional quality of their customer service is outstanding. The all-inclusive price of $1180.00 was given up-front. Every question we had was answered. In fact, it was so polished, that after I hung up, I wondered if it could be a scam?! Could we really get a safe colonoscopy for a fraction of the price that we had paid before? Visions of witchdoctors with rusty tools flitted through my mind. HA! So I earnestly began examining reviews. Folks were consistently raving about New Choice Health. I checked out the different health providers that we had been offered. Everything consistently pointed to VERY high quality healthcare providers. The doctor that we ended working with is rated as one of the top three gastroenterologists in his large metropolitan area. To be fair, my husband liked him and his office staff much more than the gastroenterologist that we had used for the last seven years. We found a winner! In the meantime, New Choice Health provided what can only be described as amazing concierge service. Kelsey, was our customer representative. She walked us through the process in the best display of customer service that we have ever had...anywhere. Her meticulous, professional care journeyed us through everything, from that first phone call to a follow-up message after the procedure. WOW! Our local heath care system could definitely learn something from these folks!

We canceled a surgery because of safety reasons and the refund never got here for over 1 month and a half. The check bounced once it did get here. On February 6, we canceled the surgery for my fiance for her gallbladder because she is pregnant. We were told the refund would come in about 7 business days. It was a $3000 check and it never got to the address. We changed the address and they said they issued a second check. Once again it never got here. I called Wells Fargo and made a claim to get our money back. It was the end of March! MARCH! When the check finally arrived. We cashed it and told Wells Fargo to refund the money to them and to drop the claim so they wouldn't have that on their record. The check bounced a week later and now it's April 16 and we lost $3000 dollars as well as several hours of work for a surgery that never happened. With the virus and a pregnant fiance, it is crucial for me to get my money back asap. I can't afford to not have it at this time. Spoke with Brad and he says that Wells Fargo hasn't refunded them. I spoke with Wells Fargo and they said it can take up to 30 days for it to go back on their account. I can't sit around and wait 30 days for them to send me a check that will take another 2 months to get here like the original one. I was pleased with the service because they spoke very well and were helpful, but if they owe you money, they will take as long as it takes to keep it.
