Someone opened a fake account with PatientFi in my name. Now I got an account with connexus credit union because of that fake account opened in PatientFi.
PatientFi is terrible; their communication is awful
PatientFi is terrible; their communication is awful. I still haven't gotten a response to my initial complaint. They called and left a voicemail for someone else, not me! They can't even address me correctly. And when I try to call them back, they never answer and I have to wait for a really long time. I really wish I had other choices, because I definitely won't be using them again in the future!

PatientFi loaned me money for a medical procedure in February 2022. I sent the payment in the first week of December 2022, taking advantage of a promotional balance that ended in the last week of January 2023. However, in the first week of January 2023, I noticed that the payment amount hadn't been updated. I reached out to them multiple times to inquire about this issue. They suggested that I cancel the previous check and make a new payment over the phone. I made the payment over a week ago, but it still hasn't been reflected in their records. I'm not sure what they're trying to achieve, but I plan to contact my doctor tomorrow since they trust and recommend PatientFi. It's disheartening to see that other people have also experienced poor service from PatientFi, as indicated by their ComplaintsBoard.com reviews.

On 12/7/2022, I paid off my loan and there was still $15,992.52 left on the account. I called today, 12/9/2022, to find out why the account is not closed yet. Patient Fi said there's an error, but they don't know what it is and it will take at least 60 days to figure it out. I'm complaining because my loan should be closed, but it will still show on my financial history because of Patient Fi's mistake. The remaining wrong amount is due in 10 days and I'm waiting for PatientFi to tell me how they will handle it. I'm worried that Patient Fi is purposely keeping the account active for secret reasons and not closing it.

I asked them to put it as a payment so I don't pay 3 times in 1 month, but they don't listen. Only on my 5th talk did they say any payment before the 2nd day of the month ain't for the actual payment. I don't get why they ignore me when I always pay on time. I'm gonna stop future ach payment in case they take more money from my account.

I got a loan from PatientFi for a procedure I had on 10/26. They said I wouldn't have to pay interest if I made my payments within 6 months after the procedure. My last payment was due on April 26. I called on April 29th to make my final payment and asked if it was okay even though I was 3 days late. I talked to a guy named *** and he said it was fine and would let IT know to update my account. I asked to be copied on the email. I never got anything. I followed up again on May 26th and talked to *** again. I even stayed on the phone while he emailed IT. He also wanted to charge me more interest, and I agreed and asked again to be copied on the email. I didn't receive anything. I called again on June 26th (or around the end of June) and talked to another guy. He listened to the recorded phone calls from my previous conversations and said they would fix it. Still nothing. This company is a bunch of scammers and doesn't care about their customers.

I never had so much trouble payin on an account as I have with this company. I set up recurrin payments - the first payment went through just fine. The second payment however, I was emailed a notice that my payment would be processed and it never was. Connexus, the lender for patient fi, told them to cancel my payments. They did not email, call or notify me in ANY way that my payment was gonna be cancelled. After watchin my financial account, I noticed the payment was never processed. I called them AFTER the due date when it did not auto draft and was told *** told them to cancel my recurrin payment. So I was forced to late pay. I tried to pay off my account after that, and was hung up on. This company is a scam so that you do not pay the balance in full in the 0% interest term. To not notify someone that you are cancellin a payment and allowin them to go past a due date is fraudulent so they can collect the larger interest rates they charge. Worst credit line/loan company I have ever delt with. All I wanna do is pay off my balance, and even that is a hassle and I still have not been able to do with them.

PatientFi has changed providers twice already. In June, they sent me an email saying that my PatientFi loan would be transferred to the Launch platform. Alright, no problem. Turns out, that didn't happen. Now they're saying that Launch was never part of the plan. But I have the email that clearly states otherwise. They never informed me where to make payments to my new provider, and I didn't hear from them until I received an email saying my payment would be taken the next day (August 1st, 2022). My original payment date, which we agreed upon, has always been the 18th of the month since I first signed up with them.
I called and was put on hold and transferred from one department to another for hours. Finally, I spoke to *** who told me, "we have your monthly payments and they should really come out on the 18th for your monthly payments." I have a recording of her saying this. But guess what? It didn't happen. They still charged me on the 1st.
Multiple employees have admitted that they're receiving a lot of angry calls because they messed up this transition so badly. They acknowledged it. I don't have the money for them to charge me early (right when rent is due!) without any notice or my consent. I'm now out $260 with no solution. I don't want to do business with them anymore. They need to fix their own problems before involving customers. They messed up, and we, the customers, are the ones paying for it while they sit back and enjoy our money.
