This is exactly what I was looking for in a percentage calculator! Didn't want all the bells and whistles of some calculators, just a simple calculator that gives me the correct calculation quickly so I don't have to waste time trying to figure the answer in my head. Thank you for this very handy app!

Yes, anyone with a calculator or spreadsheet can perform these calculations. But the beauty of this app is that it's so much simpler when all of the calculations are ready-to-go. Select the calculation that meets your needs and after plugging in a couple of numbers you'll have your answer. Simple and effective.

Finally, an app to give me quick solutions to every day algebraic problems, particularly when I am shopping! Sometimes I need to figure out what percentage of the original price a sales price offers to be able to compare apples to apples. Also helped me in converting a recipe to an odd amount. Thank you for creating this app!

I use this app at work so much because I have to calculate percentages of pay, time and numerous other areas related to Federal grants, distributed in some cases split between 11 ways. This allows me to find the % without a pause and considering the numerous different types of calculations I do, this has been a lifesaver! I love this app!

This app rocks! I mean really, this app has so many useful calculations. I originally intended on using it as part of my stock trading portfolio of apps but after playing around with it I see that I can use it for so much more. This is now installed on my iPhone and iPad to make sure I have it to use whenever and wherever. Good job on this.

I use this daily at work. My work consists of a large amount of vehicles and one of my duties is to have a readiness percentage for each of my different types of vehicles. It makes that particular duty easier by using this app than to have to work out the formula to get my answer. Thanks for making an attractive, functional, easy to use app.

I love this app you know every once in a while when you're doing something mathematical and you have to think of a percentage in a different way you can go into the snap and I keep it near my calculator app and it's so user-friendly you can select whatever percentage calculation you're interested in. Three cheers to the college student that develop this application!

The app works but it is totally counter-intuitive, and ugly, too. It is way too hard to figure out which template to use. And what's more, there are constant nags to rate the app, with a plea for sympathy because the dev is a student. This behavior is grossly irritating, and childish. Grow up, dev, and learn to earn your ratings by producing quality software. You pestered me to write a review, so there you have it.

The app ends up working for me more often than I thought it would. There are always those odd percentage calculations to do - whether it be for my line of work, finance, or one of my pro bono projects like running a soccer club and trying to figure out what percentage of an increase in membership has to occur in order to reach out club goals. High marks for simplicity and utility. I use this app almost as much as I do my calculator.

Needs a 'CLEAR' button...-1 star. Needs to have its own keyboard...-1 star. (I'll RATE you as being smart enough to know why you lost the third star). Seriously, you have the foundation for a FIVE STAR RATING. I suggest you read your most critical reviews and then build on that foundation. As soon as I see an update , I'll return to revisit this review and restore the stars which, regrettably, required removal to render the results of this rating thus rendered. Good luck! YOU CAN DO IT!

I downloaded this app as a GOTD and figured it might come in handy someday. Little did I know that the very next day my boss wanted to know how much our systems have grown over the last few fiscal years, and this app helped me generate the report a lot faster than I could have done by using a regular calculator. Great application! My only criticism is that the text size in the menu selections is a little too big. Also, adding a button on the calculator that clears both input fields would be nice.

Easily this app falls within my personal top ten list of all time greatest apps.

Equivalent in fabulousness to the functionality is how the different ways to utilize those functions are presented. There is no large or esoteric learning curve here- there is a side menu from the very beginning anchored to the left side of the screen that presents many different ways %'s are talked/asked about. You, the user, simply need choose the one that suits your application, it provides you with the calculation, you then fill in your own numbers and voila!

Percentages Calculator *almostgets it right. One should be able to just enter two numbers and see all of their percent-based relationships: A as a percentage of B; B as a percentage of A; A +/- X% = B; B +/- Y% = A; A% of B; B% of A; A is B% of X; etc. That's how these apps should work. Having to go to a different screen and reenter is not user friendly.

That said, the data is comprehensive and while it looks clunky, it gets the job done.

I start everyone at four (five is for above and beyond expectations). One star off for the clunky interface.

A quick word of gratitude for this excellent, easy-to-understand and intuitive app. Calculating with percentages in all (or most) of their permutations is a blessing. I'm decent at math, but percentages have always been a blind spot for me when performing calculations - whether in need of rough or accurate answers. So the app interface which poses the examples of percentage-based head-scratchers for which you need solutions, with an "enter A here and B there, and up pops C" is a brilliantly simple approach. I use it any time the words "percent" or "proportion" come up in discussion. A++

Just did the update. Hate it. Something that was soooo clean and simple, no longer is. Smh

The calculations can be done using a standard simple calculator. Nothing special about this app.

How am I supposed to tell if it is a good app in that amount of time?

Great app for those that are % conversion challenged like me! This has helped many many times on numerous projects!

The result remains hidden behind the keyboard. There does not appear to be anyway to see more than half of the answer. Poor design related to this issue.

Does not have the capability to create a exam results. Like 44 out of 815 points equals what percentage... you can work around but easier to do yourself. Wasted dollar.

I bought this app because I was looking for an app to convert ppm to %. I figured with all the conversations this was the one. I was wrong but maybe this can be added to the app?
