Mixed Experience with PetFlow: Good Products, Poor Customer Service
I gotta say, I've used PetFlow before and it's been pretty good. But let me tell you, this time around, I had a bit of a run-in with their website. Now, I'm a real stickler for ingredients when it comes to my furry friends, so I made sure to read the label on the canned cat food I ordered a few times. And according to what I saw, it didn't have any of the ingredients I was trying to avoid. So I placed my order and waited for it to arrive.
When the package showed up a couple days later, I noticed that some of the cans were dented. But that wasn't the real problem. When I opened one of the cans, I saw that it did indeed contain one of the ingredients I was trying to avoid. I was pretty upset, so I tried texting PetFlow to see if I could get a refund or exchange. But I didn't get a response. So I emailed them and got an auto-reply saying they were trying to keep up with their emails and would get back to me soon. But I still didn't hear anything.
Finally, I decided to call them up and see what was going on. The representative I spoke to was really nice and polite, and we had a good conversation. She said she would send me an email with the information I needed to return the food and get a refund. I thanked her and hung up. But when I checked my email a few hours later, there was no message from PetFlow.
At that point, I was pretty frustrated. I didn't want to deal with all the hassle of trying to get a refund, so I decided to just give the food to the wild animals in my yard. I figured the possums and other critters could use a good meal, and at least I wouldn't have to worry about getting my money back.
Now, I've read some of the other reviews of PetFlow, and it seems like I'm not the only one who's had trouble with their customer service. But I have to say, I've had good experiences with them in the past, so I'm not sure what's going on. All I know is that this time around, things didn't go as smoothly as I would have liked.
Disappointing Experience with PetFlow: Delayed Delivery, Out of Stock Items, and Poor Customer Service
Ordered some stuff for our new poodle puppy from PetFlow (petflow.com) - food, kennel, and bed. Got an email with a FedEx tracking number saying it would be delivered on Monday, the same day we were picking up our new girl. But when we got back home, nothing was there. We waited until Tuesday afternoon and finally got the kennel, but no bed or food. PetFlow said the bed was out of stock and the food was still with FedEx, but it should be here on Wednesday. But guess what? It's Thursday and still no food! We cancelled the food order and are still waiting for the bed. We don't really need the kennel anymore, but they charge fees for returns, so we're stuck with it. What a waste of time! We'll stick with CHEWY - they've been great for 10 years, but they don't carry our new pup's food.
UPDATE: PetFlow sent us a replacement order of food at no cost and gave us a tracking number. So we changed our review to 3 stars. Now we're just waiting to see if it actually arrives.
PetFlow Review: Terrible Customer Service and Fraudulent Account Practices
I really wish I had read some reviews before I ordered from PetFlow. I was looking for flea and tick medication for my dog and decided to give them a try. When I placed my order, I received an email saying that it would take 2-3 days to ship. However, a whole month went by and I still hadn't received anything. I decided to give them a call to see what was going on.
To my surprise, they told me that my account was fraudulent but wouldn't give me any more information than that. I was confused and frustrated because I had received no notification that my order was not going to be fulfilled. Instead, I received over a dozen marketing emails and multiple text messages from them. None of these messages explained why I hadn't received my product.
I tried emailing and calling them multiple times, but I kept getting responses from different representatives. I finally asked to speak to a supervisor, but even then, they only emailed me instead of calling. They offered me a $25 discount, which I accepted, but I still needed the medication for my dog. I ended up having to go to the vet to get it, but when I tried to pay, my card was declined. It turns out that PetFlow had put a hold on my bank account for three separate transactions, totaling $416.77.
This left me with a negative balance and $105 in bank fees. PetFlow said they would fix the issue, but it took over 30 emails back and forth before I was told that they didn't even have the product I had ordered in stock! I was beyond frustrated and felt like I had been scammed.
Overall, I would not recommend using PetFlow. Their customer service was terrible, and I ended up spending way more money than I intended to. It was a frustrating experience, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same thing.
PetFlow Website is a Nightmare: Difficult to Cancel Orders, Report Issues, or Contact Customer Care
I recently switched from Chewy.com to PetFlow, and I gotta say, I was pretty excited to receive a 14% discount on my first order. I ordered two 40lb bags of dog food, and while one bag arrived on time, the other never showed up. I was charged for both bags, but only received one. I was pretty frustrated, but I figured I could just go to the order details page on my account and let them know of their mistake. Unfortunately, navigating their website was a total nightmare. It was like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
The PetFlow website is just terrible. They make it intentionally difficult to cancel orders, report issues, or contact customer care. If you try to cancel your future subscription deliveries, you get a pop up that says "sorry you want to go", but you have to call them to cancel. And if you have future scheduled subscription orders, you can't cancel them online. It's like they don't want you to cancel anything.
I also tried to close my account, but it was like trying to break into Fort Knox. I went into their help section and typed "close account" in the search bar, but three pages of unrelated results came up. Not one of them was what I asked for. What kind of company makes it so difficult to cancel future orders and worse, refuses to allow you to close your account easily?
Overall, this was my worst online purchase experience in years. I'm pretty disappointed with PetFlow, and I don't think I'll be using their services again.

I gotta say, I've been fostering dogs for a long time now, and I've seen it all. From tiny puppies to big ol' senior dogs, I've taken care of them all. And let me tell you, it ain't cheap. That's why I rely on online sources like PetFlow to get all the supplies I need to take care of these pups.
But let me tell you, my recent experience with PetFlow has been less than stellar. I ordered some Canine Caviar for one of my pups, a mom who came into rescue in pretty bad shape. I paid for it through PayPal on July 25th, and it still hasn't shipped. I mean, come on, PetFlow, what's the hold up?
I'm just glad that PetFlow isn't the go-to supplier for shelters across America. If they were, already starving dogs and cats would be even worse off. Luckily, I was able to find another source for the food, so my pup has been eating for a few days now.
I've tried to get in touch with PetFlow through their online chat, but all they keep telling me is that the warehouse is working on it. And then I started getting calls to verify my address, even though I already set up an account and paid through PayPal. Like, what gives?
Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed in PetFlow. I get asked for advice and sources all the time, and there's no way I would ever recommend them right now. Especially if you're dealing with animals who are already compromised. It's just not worth the risk. I'm even thinking about opening a case with PayPal, because I can't even get ahold of PetFlow through the phone to confirm my address.
So yeah, if you're thinking about using PetFlow, I'd say proceed with caution. There are plenty of other online sources out there that are more reliable and won't leave you hanging like this.

I been using PetFlow for a long time now, but I had to cancel my petfood delivery service recently. I was surprised to find out that I couldn't cancel my auto-ship program online. I had to make a phone call to do this simple thing, which I found very inconvenient. I mean, every other online retailer can do this, why can't PetFlow? It's not like they don't know that the most common reason for a long-time customer to cancel is because of the death of their pet. It's already a painful time, and we don't need any additional procedures to go through.
To make matters worse, the phone number listed on their website didn't work. I had to call their main helpline to cancel my subscription. When I spoke to customer service, I expressed my frustration about having to call to cancel, and they gave me a lame excuse that they were able to help more people this way. They said that some people accidentally cancel their orders when they're trying to do other things. Seriously? Are they saying that their customers are too dumb to know what the cancel order button does? I found this explanation very patronizing.
I used to be a loyal customer of PetFlow, but now I'm not so sure. Years of good service have been completely canceled out for me by seeing this company attempt to inconvenience customers into staying with their service. I don't appreciate their manipulation tactics, and I would never recommend a service with those kind of ethics.

However, I must admit that some parts of the service were satisfactory. They did what they were supposed to do - ship me dog food. But, let's be honest, shipping dog food isn't rocket science.
I only used PetFlow because I had to get special diet food that wasn't available locally except for a huge cost through our vet. Otherwise, I would have preferred to support local pet stores. PetFlow's prices on some things were lower than local prices and other online stores, but not always. So, I suggest shopping around a little bit.
If I were to sign up for another service or use the online tools from one of the big pet store chains, I would hope that they have better online account management options. It's frustrating to have to jump through hoops just to pause or cancel an order.

When I called, they told me that they needed authorization from my vet before they could process my order. I understood that, but unfortunately, my new vet doesn't give authorizations over the phone or fax. So, my husband had to pick up a written authorization from them, scan it, and email it to Petflow. I called back later that day to make sure they had received it and applied it to my account, and they confirmed that they had.
However, I had to call them every day to check on the status of my order. It wasn't until March 5th that I finally received an order confirmation email stating that it would be shipped on March 8th. I was a bit skeptical, so I called them on March 8th to confirm that it had shipped. Unfortunately, they told me that they were still waiting on authorization from my vet.
At this point, I was fed up with the delay and decided to cancel my order. I'm now waiting for them to refund my money to my credit card. It's frustrating that they charged me immediately, even before the order was approved for shipment. During all this delay, I had to feed my cat an alternate food that I knew would make her sick. She can only tolerate the veterinary formula that I ordered, but it was either that or starve her.
I'm disappointed with the service I received from Petflow.com. They really messed me around, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The good news is that Chewy.com now has the cat food in stock, and I was able to order from them. It shipped the same day, and I'm relieved that I can finally feed my cat the food she needs.
Terrible Experience with PetFlow: Unresponsive Customer Service and Inflexible Policies
I had a terrible experience with PetFlow. I ordered Royal Canin veterinarian diet dog food, but it was on back order. Unfortunately, while waiting for the order to confirm, my dog passed away. I reached out to PetFlow to see if my order had shipped yet, and they told me that it had not and that they were waiting to see if Royal Canin had any stock left in their warehouse.
I immediately asked them to cancel my order, explaining the situation. However, a day and a half later, they responded saying that they couldn't cancel my order because the purchase order was already sent to their warehouse. This was unacceptable to me. I know that purchase orders can be canceled, and it seemed like they waited until it was about to ship before replying to me.
As it is, I can barely afford anything right now, and after my dog passed away, this made things more stressful. They should have taken quick action and made more of an effort to help me instead of giving me standard replies. I complained to several service reps, but they all had the same answer.
To make matters worse, they charged me twice for $6.95, and I have no idea what that charge was for. Now, no one is responding to my emails. This has been a very upsetting time for me, between a deadly virus, losing my job, barely having any money, and now the passing of my dog. You would think that a big company like this would do the right thing by people, but I guess not.
I could have sent the unopened dog food back for a refund, but instead, they told me to donate it to charity. I would have done this if money wasn't an issue right now. I barely have enough money to put my dog down and pay for the cremation service. Now, I'm out over $100.00, which is a lot of money for me.
I will never use this service again. You can't cancel your order, and they lock you into your order even before it ships. This is not good business practice. It's very sad that a company like this would treat its customers this way.
Buyer Beware: My Terrible Experience with PetFlow
I gotta say, I don't usually write reviews, but I had to make an exception for PetFlow. They're just so bad, I couldn't keep quiet. I mean, all I ask from an online store is that they say what they mean and do what they say. But PetFlow has failed me twice now. The first time, my order took OVER 9 DAYS to arrive after they said it had shipped. And I never got a shipping confirmation, so I had to call and ask. Bre was so rude, I couldn't believe it. She acted like she didn't care if my dog ever got his food.
So, I decided to give them another chance and made a second order. I asked when it would ship and how long it would take to get to me, because I didn't want any surprises. They told me everything was "caught up" and running smoothly. My order would ship the next day and I'd get it in two days after that. Well, I did get a tracking number the next day, but my shipment didn't move for THREE DAYS. When I called PetFlow, they said FedEx just hadn't scanned it yet, but it would arrive as promised. And the rep was "really sorry," but there was nothing they could do to find my order. She even hung up on me before we were done talking!
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I won't be fooled a third time by these losers. I just wish I'd read the reviews before I ordered. Their site is a total copy of Chewy.com, but in my humble opinion, they can't hold a candle to Chewy. So, if you're thinking about buying from PetFlow, be careful. Buyer beware!

I've had 3 experiences with Petflow, two of them flawless. The third one involved the wrong product being shipped and received on a Saturday. I received a prompt email indicating someone would follow with me soon. When I had not received a response back by Monday afternoon, I followed again. This time I received a prompt response with the info that the correct product was being shipped asap and provided instructions for repackaging the wrong product for *** pick up the next day. Mistakes happen, but I can't give them 5 stars with a 33% failure rate, and slow response time to correct. I will continue to buy from them though and hope this service miscue was an anomaly.

Besides the great prices, terrific service, there is a touch of "human". I had canceled my Auto Ship because we had too much and I couldn't extend more than 16 weeks for the next shipment. I received a quick response, with a solution that works. Kudos to Pet Flow !

I requested to return it, but they accept no dog food returns, understandably. I told them I was giving the remainder of the last bag to a local shelter, and they said I could give the new bag to them also, and they'd refund my money for it. They did just that, and I felt sad, but good, that together PetFlow and I donated that dog food to the shelter. I appreciate the autoship service I've been using for years, and I easily change the food with each order. Thank you for your service.

I have ordered from Petflow many times. Occasionally, there have been issues with my orders, such as damaged or missing items. Contacting customer service has always been super easy and the representatives, including ***, are always extremely pleasant and helpful. The issues are corrected immediately with no hassles. I just wish the warehouse workers were more attentive.

The bag of food is large, and we don't need any at the moment, but I received an email today from PetFlow to Come *** 30%. I entered the promo code when I checked out but received the message the code did not exist. I chatted with *** and asked if the promo code would apply. She checked my account then said she would apply the code after I checked out and before I was billed. I was very thankful for her assistance. I am pleased with this company and will definitely use them again.

A Horrible Company to do business with and BAD business practices. I made a purchase using a coupon posted on their website that says NOTHING about a limited discount - it shows 30% off. No, see terms/conditions or restrictions apply. I use the coupon and didn't notice until after the order was placed the full 30% discount wasn't applied. I contact customer service the next day and they refuse to honor the advertised coupon and cancel my entire order saying only a certain amount can be used. I had asked in writing for only a portion of the order be removed. Be Wary of their improper and sketchy business practices. I have photos of the Coupons but are not able to upload them here.

At the end of the day, *** can make or break a business. I will not do business with any company, either online or in person that thinks *** means when they get around to you, or that the order is not important or a poor attitude. This company exemplifies ***. Had not used them before, but they were the only site that had the food my very picky cat will eat, so I took a chance on a previously unknown (to me) company. I have a recurring order with this dog food company. My dog was getting sick of the prescription stew, so I went to order to order the regular chicken instead. But, it wasn't on their website anymore. So, I called. The woman told me there was a shortage and that she could switch out the order for me to get the regular since I was an existing customer. Plus, I'd save $15. I anxiously waited for the package to arrive. Not only were the items damaged and I was charged the higher rate, she didn't switch my order to the regular version. I'm stuck with 4 cases of dog food my dog doesn't like and I'm out nearly $160. I will never use them again. I called to complain to see what happened and they had no explanation for why she lied to me. Unbelievable. They could just see I talked to her last month. Despicable. They aren't doing anything for me either.

Ive been using Petflow since 2018 and I cant say enough good things about this company. The customer service they provide is top notch. There was one time when a bag of dog food had come damaged most likely due to our *** delivery person but they didnt hesitate to make it right and send a new bag immediately. Recently, I cancelled an autoship and created a new one with different items. Someone from the company reached out to me to make sure everything was okay and if there was anything they could help with after seeing me cancel it. I had been purchasing that specific product on autoship for at least a year. I really appreciated the fact that they took the time to reach out to make sure I was happy and satisfied. Overall a great company with excellent costumer service and a big bonus because they are one of only 2 online distributors for ***. Thank you Petflow!

I don't why but when the price of the food I'd been buying I checked out Petflow again. I ordered a brand I'd never used before. I was nervous because my dog doesn't do well with many foods. 3 days on a very small amount of the new food mixed into her old food and I knew it wasn't going to work for us. Her gut was rumbling and she had terrible gas. I called customer service to find out what could be done for us because this was not cheap food. *** helped me and I am quite a satisfied customer. Not only did he credit the entire cost of the troublesome food but found us an additional coupon for the autoship program and the BEST PART... I can go back to the food that works for my girl because it's cheaper here at Petflow! YAY!

By far the worst petfood company Ive dealt with. Ive been rescuing cats and dogs for over 12 years. Ordered food from companies such as *** and *** for years. They happened to be out of a prescription dogfood , so I ordered through PetFlow. It took them days to obtain approval from my vet while they were on the lookout to send approval. I placed the order on august 8th. Its August 24 and I dont have the food yet. I called. Spoke to an agent named *** who was very short with me while I was asking about the order. She said part of the order was shipped and is on the way (after 16 days!) and other part is out of stock ! Of course that upset me as there was ZERO communication about the back order. She offers me refund. Good thing I called! I asked her to send me an email confirming refund for the back order. She responds: check your *** account for refund! Wow! Amazing customer service too! Lets hope she forwards my contact info to management who was not available at that time! I expect a call back.

Poor Customer Service and Miscommunication with PetFlow
So, I got this email from PetFlow this morning saying they didn't get the prescription approval from my vet. I needed some new food for my kitty who's been feeling sickly and is a picky eater, so I went straight to the vet to get it. But, guess what? The vet never heard from PetFlow to ask for the prescription. So, I called PetFlow less than 2 hours later to cancel my order since I already got the food from the vet. But, they wouldn't cancel it! They said it was too late and that they already got the vet approval, even though they just emailed me earlier in the day to say they didn't have it. Plus, my vet never heard from them. The representative kept interrupting me and wouldn't let me speak. I have 4 cats and I spend a lot of money on their food. I'm never going to order from PetFlow again after this first and last experience. Chewy is still the best option out there. They were out of stock, so I had to look somewhere else. I won't make that mistake again!
PetFlow Review: Disappointing Experience, Charged for Unordered Items
I gotta say, I've tried out PetFlow twice now and I was hoping it would be a real money saver since their prices are a bit lower than Chewy's. But let me tell ya, I ain't seeing any savings right now. They went ahead and sent me stuff I didn't even order and charged me for it! I had to go and put a stop on my credit card just to stop the payment. And get this, they promised me a call back from a manager but I never got one. I called back again and they told me the same thing, that someone would call me back, but who knows when that'll happen.
I talked to another person who used PetFlow and they had the exact same thing happen to them. It seems like if you don't do Auto Ship, there's always some kind of issue with your order. They say they have to handle it personally but then they can't do it until later when the system is fixed. And get this, it happened BOTH TIMES I ordered! So now they have my credit card details and it seems like they just add extra stuff to my order without my permission. And then there's no way to fix it because they never call me back.
Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with PetFlow. I was hoping for a better experience but it seems like they're just trying to take advantage of me and my wallet. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, unless you're okay with getting charged for stuff you didn't even order.
