Our home has been covered by Platinum Home Warranty company since June. We have been impressed with the organization from the start. We've had issues with our refrigerator, cooktop and washer. Each time the technician sent to fix the problem was professional, competent and respectful of our COVID-safety.

Platinum Home Warranty is definitely the coverage you should consider. They are courteous, prompt and professional. Fortunately I have not needed to call them a lot in the last four years, but when I do I am always satisfied with their response.

Our AC went out the hottest week so far of the summer. I felt the rep scheduling really cared and did everything she could to get us scheduled right away and stayed in contact with me. The tech was professional, stayed distant and explained everything being done. Had it fixed in less time than expected. I really appreciate the follow up call as well. Great service!

We have owned our first home for 2 years now
We have owned our first home for 2 years now. We have had Platinum since the beginning. I am happy to say we haven't had to use them but for a couple times. In each situation, they have been quite responsive and informative. Most recently, my pool filter leaked all over the backyard in the middle of summer. They sent a team to assess and immediately had me taken care of. We decided to renew our relationship with them again this year.
I'm a first time home buyer and felt like everyone was throwing advice at me. I was wary of warranties and what I had heard, but this company made it easy, efficient and didn't make me feel like an idiot! My problem was solved and I was updated along the way.

After several horrible experiences with other companies, I was told by a co-worker about Platinum Home Warranty. She raved about them, and to say I was skeptical is an understatement. I happened to be purchasing a new home and thought, it can't be worse right? They have been excellent! I called for new locks and they came out the next day. Logan was fantastic. It was so refreshing to get good, excellent and customer care and service techs that were professional and courteous. Impressed so far!

Not only are the online and in-person representatives and techs super knowledgable but also friendly and responsive. Having a follow-up call after services is invaluable as they really do want to know how the service was, if all items were resolved, and more. I highly recommend having a home warranty, and I definitely recommend Platinum in ***.

Just had our air conditioning check up and in this unfortunate time I was beyond pleased. I was happy they still came out to do non essential work that I had scheduled. And they did send an email letting their customers know they are open and will be there for all essential repairs. Made me feel so relieved to know if we had any issues they were there for us. The techs were so courteous and respectful. We hope all their employees stay safe so they can be available if we and others need them. Best home warranty company out there. Thank you!
I bought a house for about 8 months and comes with the laundry set
I bought a house for about 8 months and comes with the laundry set. A couple of weeks ago I have a problem with my washer, a couple of error codes appeared, and loud noise during the last spin.. The Platinum rep Shelby Mallory helped me out with this issue and scheduled a technician to look it up. Found out from the technician that the bearing and drum is not in place anymore.. 2 days after, they called me and said they will replace the washer with the new one! I am really happy with their service especially with Shelby's knowledge and expertise for what being covered and what not.

I was incredibly please with Platinum Home Warranty. I had always been suspicious of home warranties and heard they tried everything to deny a claim, but Platinum proved that wrong.I have had trouble with an ac unit on our rental home out of town. Each time I have called they were not only polite and professional, but had someone out promptly. Other that the low service fee ($75.00 for AC) I did not have to pay for any parts and labor. I am now going to have them cover my primary residence. I am sure not all the warranty companies are the same, so I can only judge this one, but they rock!

I've had a warranty for a little over a year now, and Platinum has yet to disappoint. I recently had a major A/C problem and they came through big-time, even supplying me without even being asked with a portable A/C unit to get me through unit my central A/C unit was fixed, which they did yesterday. Two guys, Alfredo and Chase, came over and spent nearly three hours doing a major part install, and it's now working perfectly and I don't have to worry about any hot, sleepless nights. I'm very impressed with this company and would unhesitatingly recommend it to anyone in the market for a home warranty. I'm so glad I have that coverage and resulting peace of mind.

Recently purchased my first home and included a platinum home warranty
Recently purchased my first home and included a platinum home warranty. As part of the warranty I was able to get 5 door locks changed with their locksmith, who also swapped the hardware on one door so that I could have a single key for the whole property! In addition, as part of their a/c warranty, I had a free pre-summer check scheduled and the technician came out and tested the system. Both visits were by friendly and professional associates. Anytime I've called platinum on the phone they've always been courteous and helpful so far. No complaints! I did notice some of the negative reviews for platinum on here and other platforms, and it appears that it really stems from customers not reading the fine print in their warranty agreements. If people would read the agreement, they would better understand why certain aspects of a heater, a/c, appliance replacement are not covered 100% by the warranty.

I had issues with my air conditioner during the summer (compressor bad) so I placed a call to their 24 hour hotline. The person took my information and informed me that they would be reaching out the next day (Monday). Received a call in the morning on Monday and schedule a tech to come out in two days. They explained that demand was high since it was summer and assured me I would be taken care of. Technician came out, super friendly and professional. He diagnosed the issue within 30 mins and told me the compressor broke and would need to be replaced. The part took about a week to come in and within 2 days from that the tech came out to replace the compressor. The job took about an hour and our AC worked great afterwards. My fee was marginal compared to the actual cost of the service call. Each and every time I have had to call them they have been professional and inform me of what exactly need to happen as well as time frame expectancy. I would high recommend Platinum Home Warranty! They are inexpensive in my opinion and professional. Super easy to work with and I love that they have a 24 hour hotline. Thank you!

We bought our first house two years ago and Platinum Home Warranty was suggested by our mortgage broker and our realtor. Lucky us! We have nothing but great things to say about this company. The service is swift and courteous, the service people, in house or third party, have all been very qualified. We have saved a tremendous amount of money using this company. On our previous plan a complimentary A/C check was offered. We had to reschedule a few times due to the pandemic but they honored their commitment even though we were already on the new plan. During the inspection a problem was found in the attic space. I was contacted within days and an appointment was set up and the problem was solved in a few hours. Our pool timer stopped working and our regular pool service guy couldn't figure it out. He quoted a ridiculous amount to change it (I had obviously looked up how much a new timer costs). The neighbor's pool guy came over and same thing. I called Platinum who sent a third party consultant who quickly changed the timer and now it works perfectly again. All for the price of a service call. I cannot say enough good things, we will keep Platinum Home Warranty for many years.
I don't recommend Platinum Home Warranty
I don't recommend Platinum Home Warranty. I paid the $75 service fee, because I had a leaking toilet. They sent out 2 plumbers (12/23) and the plumbers told me my toilet was installed incorrectly, and I would have to go through my home insurance, because they would have to demolish my whole bathroom to fix the toilet, and it was going to be expensive. I immediately sensed I was being conned. The plumbers unmasked even tried to get me to come to face to face with him to look at the hole in the ground, and try to lecture me about my toilet. Not very safe during COVID. Platinum Home Warranty called me and stated they wouldn't cover the claim, because there wasn't a wax ring. This is very different then what the plumber stated to me. I told the representative what they told me, and Platinum Home offered to send another plumber for another $75 fee for a second opinion. Not at all helpful. I ended up calling a plumbing company I worked with in the past at my previous property, and it ended up the toilet flange needed to be replaced. My plumber also stated there had to be a wax ring at some point or the toilet would have leaked years ago (the toilet is almost 10 years old). It was only a $300 fix! Be very careful if you are going to file a claim with this home warranty company. I've worked with other warranty companies in the past and I never had to deal with a situation like this one. The plumbers were completely unprofessional, provided false information, and were trying to con me out of a lot of money.
