PokerStars.com I have just been conned and pokerstars are absolute experts at it

so from the beginning I place a 10 pound bet that has a bonus of two further 20 pound bets after being placed. lucky me my football team are winning after 70 minutes so I cash out as they are playing Liverpool. I am happy with my 70 pounds of winnings and I go to cash it out as I really need the money. I am then met with a message that if I withdraw now I will not qualify for my two free bets so I leave the money in there it is supposed to take a couple of days. two days later the bonus's have not appeared but there is a free 5 pound spin on the slot machines something I am not familiar with but its free right. the slot machine shows up and there is a little message down the bottom showing 5 pound bet so I click bet and wooosh one spin costs me 50 dollars of my winnings without warning. I am infuriated and complain straight away, I bet this is the first of a common trick employed by this despicable company. they would not reimburse me but gave me a free 50 pound of casino cash(impossible to do anything as you need to turn it into 1000 pound before you can withdraw it so useless. I then think well at least I have my free bets but no apparently because I cashed out early my bet did not qualify despite the message that stopped me withdrawing the money earlier and avoiding this whole sorry mess told me. I cant help but feel that these are all tactics employed by this company to screw as many people over as possible. there is no way this was all coincidence and I'm betting a similar sequence of events will happen to a lot of people like me.

PokerStars.com Rip off

I joined Pokerstars.com on Christmas day 2016 deposited £100 through PayPal and my account was not credited with the funds and I contacted Paypal. Who stated that the transaction was fine and it was ok to proceed. Yet Pokerstars have said there was a charge back by Paypal but have not retuned my funds so I am out of pocket by £100. I keep emailing them asking for its return but they just ignore my emails. Does this mean I have lost my £100 or can PayPal get it back?

It is clear and obvious that the staff at Pokerstars was avoiding me withdrawing my $5000 USD and giving excuse to drag out the time of withdrawal and on top of everything all you giving me is please accept our sincere apologies for the confusion? It is not sincere and not accepted!

I want my money back and I AM REFUSING to have lost any of those funds because of your incompetent staffs mistake and misconduct. It is very obvious what you are trying to do here and it is not accepted and very unethical.
I need this solved immediately by that I mean the correct amount to be refunded to my account prior the mistake from your staff! I have provided all documentation and that withdraw should not been dragged out for over 15 hours and then excused with

PokerStars.com Promotional challenges limited payout/reward

About a month ago I started playing the Pokerstars Challenges (eg. "Jacks or Better;" "Poker Challenge"). I am speaking specifically about any challenge that promises a cash reward (daily challenges are typically easier to complete, but only payout a ticket to a scheduled tournament, with hundreds of tables, and limited payout). These challenges promise a payout between $1 and $10, 000, but I have completed dozens of them and can confidently say they pay one dollar more often than not. I've received $2 and $5 dollars before, but these too hardly seem worth it for the work you have to go through to complete the challenge. And you don't know how much you're playing for until you have completed the challenge. Their Spin&Go games seem much more fairly paid, and you know what the pot is before you play the first hand. I think far fewer people would play the Snin&Gos if the pot were similar to the challenges. Until this disparity is addressed, I will not be playing any challenges and I will encourage others to avoid them.

PokerStars.com Freezing my account within minutes of a deposit?

I deposited 140.00$ Ca. a couple of weeks ago to play in some tounaments on a Sunday. I try to enter after depositing and the site won't allow me to register. I get an email 7 hours later saying my account is under investigation. After a few days of asking questions why my account is frozen, they ask me what my association is to another player. Which is my adult son in another city almost two hours from here. I tell them that is my sons account name but he hasn't played in 5 years. They have continued to freeze my account because they want to discuss something with my son about his old account. This has absolutely nothing to do with me, we never play poker together, or provide any moneys to each other. They continue to explain that my withdrawl request will not be honoured until they get his account straightened out. As I said he doesn't know why he'd have any reason to speak with them after 5 years away . I believe Pokerstars is now RANDOMLY selecting anyone they want to keep their money to pay for the old debt original owners of Pokerstars has incurred. Anyone have ideas on how to get my money back and NEVER play on their site again?

PokerStars.com Online random dealing

I have been playing online poker for the last 10 years and I have played in live games at the casinos all around the U.S. I have come to the conclusion that online dealing is anything but random like the websites proclaim their dealing system is purely random from a random generator of sorts. I have played with live dealing and the frequency of bad beats is no way near the frequency of bad beats as in online dealing. I have noticed that at least 80% of the hands dealt online seem to always have, by way of which cards are dealt, the latent possibility for a flush, straight, or full house capability. This would not be so bad, but this occurs way more than it should naturally. I have many times just marveled at how many 3 cards to a suit or a pair shows up on the flop. Again way more than it would if the dealing was done with a live dealer. I have also noticed that as the tournaments start to wind down to the final table, the chip leader seems to make virtually all his hands no mater what the chip leader is holding or what comes on the flop. I am convinced this is all in the software that the website is using as a random generated dealing. I believe this is a way for the poker website to eliminate as many people in a tournament setting as possible in the shortest period of time because the poker websites make their money on the entry fees to each tournament and if they can turn a tournament over quicker then they can collect the fees faster. I for one would never play online for real money no matter what the website claims were. The "random" dealing in the software could be too easily manipulated in a very deliberate manner so as to compromise the very honesty and integrity of the game itself making the results suspect at best.

PokerStars.com Freezing my money and won't release it to me.

I was playing a tournament that I paid cash for. All of a sudden I was disconnected and couldn't finish the game. I immediately sent an email to pokerstars and they told me that I was hacked and now I need to send them a picture of my identification that is clear and show all pertinent information. I gave them my phone number for they asked for it. They never have called me. I asked for a number that I could but still no response. They say they want to work with me but they don't. They have made me feel like a criminal and I have had this account for several years. They could ask me questions about my initial sign up. But they just keep sending back same email and I don't even know if its from they. I even asked them where I could go to make a complaint against them but they have ignored that. What can we do. My money is for less than $4). Canadian, but its the principle not the amoumt!

PokerStars.com Fraudulent actions

This poker site (play poker) is totally below standards for play money poker.I have lost (through THEIR internet connection) not my internet connection, as I have a very strong server...a few million play money chips. The end was today when I was all in for a million six and low and behold I could not play my last "in" for the pot, Server problems on my end? NOT. Of course I lost due to not being able to play. This site was and is still a sham. No more from me. Why are these situations not addressed? Who cares at this point - the site will never see me again.

PokerStars.com Fraud

I have played real poker for at least 2 decades and I have been playing Texas Hold'em for close to 15 years now. I used to play at pokerstars.com years ago and quit for obvious reasons and now people from America cannot play for real money, which is a great thing, but my belief is that ALL online poker games are fraudulent. My complaint about pokerstars.com now is that they may not let Americans play for real money, but now they have a way for you to buy PLAY CHIPS. Yes that's right fake chips and it even says you can't cash them in for money either.
The problem is they are still up to their fraud ways. I started playing there again about 3 weeks ago. It is the worst depiction of Texas Hold'em I have ever seen. Here is an example of what I keep seeing in the game. There will always be at least one person in the game that bets almost every hand no matter what their hand is. What will happen are players getting tired of waiting on a good and and call one of there bets. In doing so you are about to be set up.
Example and what actually happened in 90+% of my games. I have 9 7 off suit and the the same guy in the game is still betting every hand. I decided to call because I'm getting tired of folding hands the entire game. The flop is 10 2 6. Not a good hand, but it's the first hand that I actually have a shot, even though it's small, of making a straight. The guy bets, but it's a small fraction of what's in the pot so I call taking a chance. The turn comes and the card is an 8. At this time there is no chance anyone can get a flush and nothing showing that he can beat a straght. I try to trap him and check and then he bets somewhat big believing I have him trapped so I just call. The river comes and the card is a 10 and no flush possibilities. Now I know, or at least I thought I knew, I have him and check. He bets a third of the pot and I go all in and he calls. Now remember that what I'm telling you happens 90+% of the time in the game. He's holding pocket 6's which gives him a full house. This my friends is a setup hand. Yes it's for play chips, but my firm belief is that they are trying to get you to buy play chips with real money AND they are practicing their setup hands like this in the real money games, which is defrauding all those people in those other countries.
Why would every game have at least one person betting every hand regardless of what they have? I have seen at the end of a hand and they show their hand that they had bet at the start of the hand with 3 9 off suit and on the turn and river they make a hand that takes the pot because they either keep betting or they keep calling all the way to the end. It's always the person doing the constant betting in the game and they always get paid off regardless of their two starting cards. If this can happen in play chip games you can bet that it is happening in the real money games. When I play real life poker I never see what I see on any online poker game and if you are foolhardy enough to play for real money in those games you will lose and they will do it when they can get you for the most money they can. ALL online poker games are a fraud and I don't understand how any are allowed in the United States and that includes online poker games that offer you to buy play chips. That's just like setting your money on fire or melting it down do nothing. STAY AWAY FROM ALL ONLINE POKER GAMES!

PokerStars.com Account is blocked for nothing

Guys, My PS id is rajesh_asi
Could you please help us in getting my money back from pokerstars. They blocked my account for allegation of creating multiple ids...and I gave them my reply belo

I have created only rajesh_asi which is my id, rest of the ids are of my family members & friends and they created it to play Home Game, as you know home game can't be login through mobile as some of members plays through mobile because they don't have laptop, So they tell me to login to their account and register in home game after that they play from mobile. There is no illegal use of any of the ids. Also, sometime I do send them few money(like 1 or 2 dollars) to play for small games.

If you can analyze, i have been a regular player on pokerstars and invested more than $10K so far. So, why would I do such thing which can bar my account. However, I apologies and will make sure we don't login other accounts through my pc for family games.

Hope you understand my concern and open my account.

Moreover, I have attached my passport for your reference. Please let me know if you need any other information.

After this mail see the amazing reply from poker stars

We have determined that the documentation that you have provided to us upon our request, does not appear to be legitimate or genuine documentation. We respectfully ask you to please provide unedited documents as previously requested ensuring that all the details are clear, unobstructed and genuine.
If you fail to provide legitimate documentation your account may be terminated and all funds therein could be confiscated

This is an absolute ### - they have blocked my $2500 in to my account. How can I edit my scanned passport pdf file.

Please help me in recovering my money from this nonsense site.

PokerStars.com Theft of money

Here are the simple facts:

1. I have never played on PokerStars and wanted to give it a try, opened an account and deposited $600with my visa.

2. My account was immediately frozen, I didn't play a single hand of poker or even sit at a table.

3. They requested that I send documents that contain in my opinion very sensitive information and that could be used to steal my identity, so I said "No thanks, please refund my money."

4. They refused to refund my money, at best this is extortion, at worst blatant theft.

5. My advice, if you don't want to provide sensitive personal information or have your money stolen. Avoid PokerStars.

I agree 100% Pokerstars is rigged .I have played this site for 13 years . I had 2.4 billion in chips & in 3 months I now have 200 million & keep losing it . I have bought chips 2 or 3 times. I played 40 straight spin&gos & could not win 1 game . All 40 games all I ever got was pairs .I did not get 1 straight, flush or full house all 40 games . I play 25 more games the next day & its the same thing . I play another 20 games the next day & its the same thing . This site is doing wrong ! I see why this site has lost all these players & if you ask me I think Pokerstars should be shut down. Another thing I talked to one of the live chat operators and she told me she plays Pokerstars & I don't think that is right. One player called my little girl a biitch & Pokerstars did nothing to that player .So it made me mad & I cussed Pokerstars . They told me we are humans reading what you write & if you say it again then we will close your account . Then I said I am a human to Pokerstars . I was cussed by another player & you did nothing about it . But if someone says it to you then you are gonna close their account . I would like to know why & how this site keeps running after all the fines they have gotten & they are still doing wrong .

I believe that showdowns are biased somehow against players that pay for play money. They want you to buy more play money so they make sure you lose. The number of bad beats I have to put up with is utterly ridiculous! One night I had 19 losses at showdown out of 20 when I had the best hand. It is really starting to piss me off!

PokerStars.com Odds to win

well, I'm playing at pokerstars for few years. I have won few tournaments, but after 15k win I noticed one thing: if I have preflop 90-95% chance to win - I loose like 90-95% of playing hands. For example: I have AK, pushed all in, and other called with A9, he has 3 outs (that's smth like 6-8% to win), and guess what, he gets one on flop! It doesn't matter how I play, I have 99 call anything and loose to AK or AQ or AJ... I have AA I loose to 88 and so on and on...
I don't know what it is, but sometimes I think You have to pay lots of money to win again, or play lots of tournaments when pokerstars program lets You win...

My best guess is (and I placed 1st recently on PS for $811 ) is Money goes from lower strakes to higher stakes player on the average as these players enter bigger events , Expect to lose more often if you have cash in your account , as they need X many entries to fulfill the guarantees. So you will be the target , I deposited $33 played the $11 10 K , couldn't win a hand and always when you are in double or nothing territory , here's AK or KJ suited , and the big stack calls light and wouldn't you know it rivers the boat against your ... . It must be human supervised as in big fields for a start the card distribution seems random , but as they get down to the real money those hands show up . And to be honest why would they not have a method to cheat its software after all if it isnt PS management it could well be a gang of employees . Money gets the girls and the cars and the drugs . Reminds me of the coach of some team whom recruited able bodied athletes to represent a country and absolutely destroyed the other team . There are people willing to cheat for their 15 mins of fame .

that coach story was regarding paraplegic players , ie handicap sports event , so some people are willing to stoop that low for glory , why not PS or the software engineers ?

Not that it matters but this is the cycle you go through on donkeystars... i will never play again before i run myself into huge dept and anybody who ever mentions jokerstars and becoming a member i will be sure to do my best in putting them off tha idea! The people who win are losers with no jobs who have have the time, not to get better at poker... jus learning the software patterns... thats why its always such a bad beat. Rigged pirate site

My story is exactly the same, its so scary literllay have been a member over a year and i hqve the same sob story... i win or run deep in tournaments and win money... regardless of what i win if you do not cadh out you are just pkaying to give this site its money back ( sharing your winning money with worse pkayers who so luckily seem to suck out) its simple, you can win money but in the end you have to pay to play! Playing with won money isnt good enough, you have to be depositing money. Any won money that you play with is designed to be shared amongst the weaker players so they too can experience winning, think they are a good player and ultimatly invest alot more than you would win. I ran deep in big 5.50 25th and won $100 the next day i played spin and go (3 handed) thinking that i could increase profit. Surley playing 9 handed for 10 hours in a huge tournament and doing quite well qualifies me to play 3 handed and win hopefully i thought. WRONG! Win millions in minutes ahahaha dont make me laugh... its idiots like me that invest there money and get beat successivly by worse hands. Literally must have played 15, 20 $5 games in a row and all for $10 winning maybe 2 out of these games id lost half of the $100. Today was the same i find myself 2 days later playing $1 sit n go because i only have $10. If you ever manage to get lucky and win big on donkeystars cash out and never play again! If you do not it is the softwares objective to distribute your chips ( which you were so lucky to win in the first place) amongst the other amature players think about it KA will not always win but if you come off any real profit you are the guy who gets all the monster hands that lose! the only people who argue this are the online monkeys who sit there day after day shoving with muck. Literally ran deep in counless tourneys then situation like sit and go where you physically see the handicap put against you... 3 handed losing to flopped sets j3 flops thress, i call with AA 3 handed and lose to Q6 off and 4 card straight 2-6 call post flop shoves 1 after another with the best hand (usually top pair) and these monkeys shove with bottom pair 2, 3 whatever and river 2 pairs and sets. I mean this is how u lose your money that you win scaaaaaaaaam. Like i said feel lucky play tournaments ( only way of making any real money) cash iut never play again i play live nothing like online. bingo pkayers who could spend 2 hrs in a tourney just shoving... these are the momkeys who take your money gd players cannot win because the rest wiuld not play. Everybody has! To be a winner at some point

You've won 15k in profit and yet you think that AK is over a 9:1 favourite against A9?
AK vs A9 AI pre-flop is only a 3:1 favourite. So if you do the simple math, the remaining 25% of the time you win is actually by luck, because you are meant to lose 1 out of 4 times. So if you play the exact same hand 100x, you should expect to lose 25x.
Variance!

pokerstars are stealing money faster than they can count it
why, because it is rigged
we cannot see capitalists as the bad guys
we need a superhero, to bring back justice, before the commies will be seen as the good guys

PokerStars.com Banned for no reason

I play poker on pokerstars as does my wife and daughter. We only play the low cost games. Mainly 10 cent games. My daughters computer stopped working so when she asked I didn't hesitate to let her log on to her own pokerstars account on my computer so she could play a game. Next day I am banned from pokerstars, my account balance confiscated, and they accuse me of cheating?
This is because 2 different accounts from the same computer? Surly this must happen all the time. I have emailed them repeatedly and they wont respond about my account balance that they have stolen.
They seem to be unapproachable.

That is how collusion is flagged. Same IP (or close) and 2 or more accounts playing from it.
What is to stop you and family playing on the same table together and seeing what hands you have.
You have gained an unfair advantage and PS will ban you immediately. Don't be naive.
It's bad enough these days with all the Russians playing from their phones in the same room and on the same table.

PokerStars.com Fraud and money laundering

As of today April 15th, all three of th4ese sites are banning u.s. players from playing with real money. It's about damn time. The card programs are horrible, the game doesn't represent real poker at all, and everyone of these ### owners belong in jail. The poker pro's that helped advertise these sites should also be charged.

PokerStars.com I have never seen anything like what happens on pokerstars happen in live poker

I have played online poker for a solid year and a half now. When I play live I see lots of hands just like online, I have never seen anything like what happens on pokerstars happen in live poker. The shuffling is supposed to be random and is "proven" to be random in pokerstars...yet I can sit with JJ and say ok someone with a low Ace hand is going to call me and hit his ace somewhere...and lone behold..it happens...every single time I can sit and call the hands like that..but who is going to fold one of the 5th best hands pre flop?... This is outrageous in my opinion. When I ask pokerstars employees to tell me where I can go to report their rigging of their site they simply rub me off with a oh blah blah blah we have proven it is random and cigital has done reports on us and yada yada and never once telll me where to report it. They say oh we can give you a report of all your hand histories to prove it to you...well that would just help me prove my point...the fact that 90% of the time when I go in being the favorite I lose. Statistically incorrect dont you think? Well pokerstars doesn't think so...shifty?...dirty?...hell yes.

Yap You're right.
It happens all the time to me too and the funniest thing is that sometimes, when it's auto all in (after such idiotic loose) You win with crappy hand like 93 or 7K... I's just not possible to loose like more than half better hands before flop and win with weaker... And one more fun fact, If You loose with JJ, KK, QQ or AA or some other hand pair to 73, 82, A3 and such, you're tilted and push all in any two, and guess what? One player has pocket pair and You loose no matter what :)
once it was cool thing like I had pocket pair, let's say AA, other two both had AQ. Flop goes smth like Q 3 7 turn 9 (I don't remember actual cards but Q was on flop) so they both have 1 suitable card to win right? RIGHT. guess the river ;) yes, You're right it's a damn Q :)

So pokerstars became jokerstars. I see more countries there (Brazil, Kazakhstan, India and lots of others new countries), so to new players (witch are new not just in online poker but they're new to poker) they go play with hands like K3, A3, they do not see what's on table and fun fact they win a lot of such hands and they think they're good players. And player who thinks - looses. That's just not fair!

So If I have 90% to win, I loose such hands like 90% of time, so I think some thing's wrong with pokerstars software or people working there or millions they're making when people like me plays there...
