Popeyes review: I wanted chicken and was not able to be served

I went to Popeyes in Clanton Alabama. I had gone to this Popeyes one other time and gotten food poisoning so I didn’t go back for a year. I was born and raised in New Orleans and raised on Popeyes so I really wanted the experience of Popeyes again so I tried them one more time. I wanted an AP so that I had leftovers for the next day but only like the wings and breasts. I asked for the special eight piece but they explained that that was only a mixed piece so I asked for an eight piece all white. And a large side. They quoted something like $40 and I was fine with paying whatever I needed to pay for what I wanted. When we got to the window, they stated that they could not do all white. I told them that the mixed was fine if they could do it in spicy then they stated that it would be about 20 minutes and would we mind waiting? We told them that we could not wait and left the restaurant. We drove a half an hour way to go to Popeyes came home another half an hour and now my husband is driving to the alabaster Popeyes to get our dinner, our total drive time is two hours to get a simple eight piece box of chicken. I don’t know what you could do about it. I just was hoping somebody do so maybe if I ever try that Popeyes again or any Popeyes outside of New Orleans, maybe the next time I can actually get the chicken that I order.
