Disappointing Experience with PSSL After Solotech Merger
PSSL used to be a real cool company, but now it's not so great anymore. Ever since they merged with Solotech in 2019, things have gone downhill. The website is harder to navigate and the customer service ain't what it used to be. I tried to order some gear and it took forever to get to me. Plus, when it finally did arrive, some of the stuff was damaged. I had to go through a whole rigmarole to get it replaced. It was a real pain in the butt. I don't think I'll be ordering from PSSL again anytime soon.
Sketchy Music Gear Company with Unfair Return Policies and Fraud Allegations
This company ain't good, I've been in the music biz for like 14 years and I ain't never seen a more sketchy operation. They make up their own return rules and don't care about making their customers happy. If you need to buy music gear, go somewhere else. UPS even suspended them for fraud and they won't even tell you about it.

I ordered from PSSL.com about 7 months ago and I gotta say, I'm not too happy with how things turned out. I got a partial refund for some of my order, but not for the case I ordered. I've been trying to get in touch with them about it, but every time I call, they tell me they're waiting for payment because they don't have any records of my old purchases. They say their records got moved to a new system, but that's not my problem. I have my bank records to prove that I paid for that case, but no one seems to care. It's like they're committing theft or something.
I used to think PSSL was a pretty good company, but now I'm not so sure. I don't think I'll be buying from them again in the future. It's just not worth the hassle. I've been shopping at PSSL.com for years and have always been a happy customer. However, my recent experience with their customer service was not up to par. I took advantage of an online special deal on April 3rd, 2017 and PSSL charged my PayPal account right away. However, the very next day, on April 4th, PSSL canceled my order. They claimed that there was an issue with my PayPal account, but I checked on my end and PayPal had already paid them.
To make matters worse, PSSL now says that the item I purchased is out of stock and they won't provide me with a replacement item at the already paid price. Instead, the agent tried to up-sell me. This is not what I expected from PSSL and it's definitely not the level of service I've received in the past.
I'm disappointed with this transaction and I hope PSSL can improve their customer service in the future. For those who are interested, my order number is A.
Disappointed with PSSL.com's Poor Communication and Faulty Product
So, I recently made an order on PSSL.com for a microphone that was advertised as "touring gear" which is just a fancy way of saying it was used. I was pretty excited to get my hands on it, but after waiting for 5 days without any updates, I decided to shoot them an email to see what was going on. To my surprise, they told me that the microphone wouldn't be shipped until the end of August! I mean, come on, it was only mid-July and I even paid extra for priority shipping.
After some back and forth, I agreed to the late shipping date, but then two days later, I received an email saying that the microphone was faulty and they had to cancel my order. I was so disappointed because this was supposed to be a gift for someone special to me.
I'm not sure what went wrong here. Maybe they never had the microphone in the first place, or maybe the company that drop-ships for them messed up. Either way, I'm not a happy customer. It's frustrating to have to wait so long for an order, only to have it cancelled in the end.

PSSL.com Review: Unprofessional and Incompetent - Don't Order from Them!
I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with PSSL.com. I wouldn't recommend ordering from them, no matter what. They're just not professional at all. I made the mistake of ordering from them through Amazon, and boy was that a mistake. I ordered a black light for a show I was putting on, and when it arrived, it was broken. I tried to get them to send me a replacement part, but they just kept making promises they couldn't keep. Finally, I asked if they could just send me a whole new unit, but they said I'd have to pay another $200 for that. Can you believe it? I was so frustrated.
In the end, I had to file a claim with Amazon and order a replacement directly from them. It was a hassle, but at least Amazon stands behind their sales. I gotta say, my experience with PSSL.com was not the best. It took them a whole two weeks of going back and forth to finally tell me that my business credit card wasn't gonna work for them. Apparently, my info wasn't matching up or something. So, I had to use my personal credit card instead. No biggie, I thought. But then, when I saw that they were offering free shipping, I was like, "Sweet! Maybe it'll get here super fast!" Boy, was I wrong.
I live in Hawaii, so I was expecting to pay a little extra for shipping. But when I saw that it was gonna be over $100, I was like, "What the heck?!" I figured that maybe it meant that my order would be expedited or something. Nope. I placed my order and the money was taken out of my account right away. I got an email saying that my order had been shipped on June 23rd, but when I tried to track it, the number didn't work. I contacted customer service a couple of times and finally got two USPS tracking numbers. One of them clearly hadn't even been brought to USPS yet, and the other one showed no movement for four days after it was supposedly shipped to me.
It's now July 1st and I still haven't received my order. I haven't gotten any updates on tracking, and I haven't received any messages from PSSL.com telling me what's going on. At this point, I just want my money back. I definitely won't be doing business with these guys again. I can find way better prices elsewhere, and for $100 shipping, I expect to be treated a lot better. So, if you're thinking about ordering from PSSL.com, be warned. It might not be worth it.
