Subscription to gq magazine
I called GQ who referred to "Priority One Clearing Services" who referred me to "Publications Unlimited USA" and this company does not answer their phone and does not return messages.
I would never knowingly subscribe to this putrid rag magazine. It has covers glorifying Allen Iverson, a violent racist, and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, another racist, sexist bigot. This vile bigotry came into my house.
Would they also subscribe black people to the KKK magazine?
Desired outcome: Refund
Magazines
I am sending this email/message to whoever it my concern.
I am trying to be as nice as possible. I am sick and tired of your company sending your magazines to my mom's address. My mom is a senior citizen and she doesn't want to be bothered with your magazines. So read this very carefully: Stop sending your trash to my mom's mailing address. She didn't order nor do she want any of your magazines. So stop sending them to her address.
Desired outcome: Here's the account numbers ELM2446650737/5 and [protected]/8 cancel every account permanently and indefinitely and never ever again in as long as this company is send or mail anymore
Subscription to the week magazine
They charged me twice the going rate and will not answer the phone ever or answer email message sent to their site. They are scamming me.
Online purchase of two subscriptions to The Week Magazine ordered on November 4, 2022. They charged me double what they should have.
Order numbers: 5584164 and [protected].
Desired outcome: I want a refund.

Canceling account
October 10, 2022
I want to cancel my HGTV Magazine. When I went to the HGTV site, it said the magazine had been ordered through Publuiishers Unlimited. I'm not sure how this happened because I have never heard of this company.
Also, I have been receiving two other magazines which I never ordered.
Please help!
My HGTV account number is [protected]
My current subscription began on 7/14/2021
Desired outcome: You will get me to the HGTV Magazine account so I can cancel it before it comes up for automatic renewal. I'm not sure about the unrequested magazines.
renewal of new yorker subscription
I am a regular subscriber to the New Yorker and my subscription is renewed annually and automatically through them. We have received two copies of the last two issues of the magazine. I called the New Yorker and I was told that Publications Unlimited had submitted a subscription order on my behalf on or about April 17th. That order was not authorized, should be canceled by you, and any proceeds charged to my account remitted. Also can you please let me know the details of how and why the order was placed. The number of the address label of your subscription is NYR1072748922/0#. I called and left a message but the call has not been returned. If you would like to reach me to discuss please call my law office at [protected].

MAGAZINE ORDER# OUM0070157474/9# I contacted the magazine company & was told I needed to contact Publications Unlimited to cancel the unauthorized subscription & charge for $18.00 that was withdrawn from my bank account without my approval The customer service website does not work. I want this canceled and a full refund for $18.00 I hope I do not have to get the Better Business Bureau involved . Thank you
believed it was cancelled but received 2 more issues recently
I had been receiving Discover magazine, which we enjoyed. Then in April 2017, I decided we needed to save money and called Discover to cancel. I learned the info about Publications Unlimited and called them. It took a lot of pressure on our part to get satisfaction. The woman couldn't find my name at first. Then she located the account. It's too late to cancel the account because the renewal had been in December. Then under pressure, she said they'll cancel it, but not send a refund check. Further pressure in that same phone call got her to say she'll send out a check next month (May). So this last magazine issue would be the final one. Now I have received my second issue along with a bill. I called Discover and took down notes, along with the name of the representative. I then called Publications Unlimited, but got a recording that it was past their hours.
need to cancel publications arriving without my knowledge
Few months ago, I started getting few magazines that I did not subscribe. Magazine companies could not cancel as it was requested by Publications Unlimited. I called Publications Unlimited and they said they will cancel the order, but will take 4-6 weeks. Several weeks later, I got a call from some one claiming to help us cancel, by reducing number of magazines to 2 instead of 6. I told her that this was supposed to be cancelled long ago and I wanted to confirm I do not owe any money, I was told that owed them $695. They can adjust it for $195.
I called up Publications Unlimited after getting their number magazie (one of the magazines I was getting), I was promised that they will cancell it right away and I do not owe them any money. But, again, they will need 4 - 6 weeks to close this completely.
I think this is a scam that need to be fixed before more people are cheated.

unsolicited magazines
My husband started receiving unsolicited magazines and I contacted the magazines themselves and was told that Publications Unlimited was behind it. When I googled them, I found that they have so many complaints against them, it's ridiculous. I just called them, and as soon as she verified our name and address, she asked if I was calling to cancel the magazines. I said, "Yes. Surprise, Surprise!" I went on to say that if this ever happened again, we would pursue whatever action was available to us. I told her I saw upon googling them, that they had a less than stellar reputation. She was talking over me and making no apologies. She tried to say people have them confused with someone else. OK. I finally hung up on her. It's horrible that you don't get to choose to have a relationship with this "company". It just happens without you signing off on it.

subscribed me to magazines I didn't order
I recently started receiving magazines from Fitness and Women's Health- two subscriptions I never signed up for. I contacted the magazines directly and they told me that I had been signed up through Publications Unlimited and that I couldn't cancel my subscription- only the agency could. They provided me with an 800# to call Publications Unlimited and it was an invalid number. i called it and a recording came on telling me that "A message could not be recorded for this number. Goodbye." I then turned to Google to try and find any contact information- their website has nothing!
I'm VERY irritated! How am I supposed to cancel these fraudulent subscriptions if I cannot get ahold of the company?! I have gone over my bank statements and do not see any charges on my accounts, however I am worried that they may be billing an old credit card or something and I do not want my credit ruined because they are running some kind of scam.
Thanks Brenda! I did file a complaint with the BBB. Hopefully something will be done.
So I followed the link to submit a contact form. As soon as I hit submit, it said the page could not be displayed. I don't know if it's the computer I'm on, or if that page just doesn't work. Anyone else have this issue?
Thanks Brenda. That's the number I called previously and it basically hangs up on you.
People think just because you file a complaint with the BBB it will help. You should Yahoo everything.
Definately THE WORST DEPARTMENT STORE, in The C.S.R.A., The manager is a racist, evil woman, and she keeps hiring & employed -degenerate, ghetto-fied employees, who are lousy at customer service and keeping the store organized or clean! They were nearly shutdown numerous times for being a bad retail business; selling cheap-lousy knockoff/poor quality clothes, at unreasonable prices.. Plus they treat loyal black customers badly, even pulling some of the racist business policies as WAL-MART, framing, setting up & harassing black men who shop or try to get a job working there. Lousy businesses like these, love Aiken County, because this corrupt city; enforces discrimination laws; like "segregation", often unfairly putting black men on trespass noticies, for doing business with racist companies.. That's what Roses Stores in Aiken, SC, stands behind & support: Racism, and lousy retail management!

unwanted & unordered magazines
Many of us have been receiving unwanted magazines that are extremely offensive and embarrasing to us. I began receiving Maxim, which was one of four unwanted magazines, for no apparant reason. I contacted Maxim and they gave me the [protected] number to call publications unlimited. I called it just to find out it is a bogus number. No one will answer you call. I then decided to call my local Better Business Bureau (BBB) office to get this handled. they refered me to the BBB of Southeast Florida and the Caribbean. I went online an filed a complaint and was told that it could take up to 30 days for a response from publications unlimited. It took about 5 days and I had a response from Publications Unlimited. As I expected, they shifted blame to Direct Clearing [protected]) and stated that they are the ones that made the order. Publications Unlimited assured me that the magazines would stop. I was given a representatives email address from Publications Unlimited ([protected]@publicationsunlimited.com) if the problem persisted. Hopefully this information will be helpful to those of you who are in the same boat. Good luck.

unwanted magazines and being charged
I unknowingly signed up to get 5 different magazines from Publications Unlimited, which include Marie Claire, Star, Glamour, Shape, and Self. On top of these I have been getting People, Cosmo, Automobile, ESPN, Golf Digest, and Parent. I would be fine if I didn't have to PAY for the 6 extra magazines they are sending me that I DIDN'T sign up for! I tried to just cancel my whole order of the original 5 but they said that I had a contract with the magazines that I couldn't cancel. I didn't sign anything and never talked to the magazines so there isn't even a chance of a verbal contract. I don't want magazines I won't use and don't want to pay for them to just be thrown away! And everytime I try to call, I have to call about 5 or 6 times before I get someone because I didn't call during "business hours of 9-5 of EST" which, in fact, I did.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
What number did you find to contact them? I cannot find any means of contacting the company- their website is useless.
This complaint is 'right on.' Publications Unlimited' was able to access our checking account with a fraudulent check and deduct $49. for a supposed magazine renewal that we knew nothing about - and have yet to even receive. Supposedly Publications Unlimited is now in Texas. I suspect they jump around from place to place to avoid detection. We must contact more than the Better Business Bureau. This is sophisticated fraud violating many laws. This must be shut down immediately.
sending xxx mag did not order
WOW, im not the only one who has experienced trouble with this company. I was ready to end my marriage over this. I didnt confront my husband cuz i know he is not like that. But people do change, so it worried me. I decided to hide these magazines and investigate (bank statements, phone records etc..) Something needs to be done with this company! Can you imagine the hurt and marriage trust issues this has caused for our fellow Americans?! I feel horrible because i sent my 11 year old son to check the mail! And those magizines were there. It gets even worse, my son who checked the mail has the same name as my hunsband! Legally, I should find out what i can do. I can afford to do so. The # they left on my e-mail was [protected] amd received same message to call back at normal hours! I feel horrible for treating my husband so badly and he does'nt even know why. I have some explaining to do. Please if anyone need support in getting this company to pay for their errors let me know. Hope this never happens to anyone of you. Thanks, Nadine

Same here, we just received Maxim and ESPN without subscribing. I did get in contact with Maxim and they gave me te name and number to Publications Unlimited Agency, [protected]. I'm not sure how this company is legally allowed to charge a person for something that they DID NOT ORDER! When I called ESPN, they cancelled the magazine and provided us with a refund. Too bad Maxim can't do the same thing. We are in contact with an attorney regarding this matter, hopefully others will read this and become educated about this scam.

I just received a Maxim magazine in the mail, that says my Blender magazine was canceled. I do not want either magazine, nor did I ever. I want my full refund of these magazine, I never ordered, or I will call the Better Business Beaure! And I want verification of the amount that is refunded.
