I ordered a package from Amazon with specific instruction to buzz on an apartment building. Driver never buzzed, but instead left package for me to pick up at a nearest shipping Center the next day. I never got any pickup slip to know where to pick up. This is horrendous service by lazy purolator drivers. It has happened many times in the past. This has to be better. I understand there is time limits for deliveries.

Company updates not frequent enough
Yesterday, Tuesday, I had to leave the house and left a note saying back in an hour.
Normally the Purolator driver comes between 7 am and 7.30 am. Yesterday it said it was out for delivery but at 7.40, it had not arrived and I had to leave for an hour. When I got back, I got a note saying couldn't deliver...you need to drive 80 miles to pick it up at warehouse. I called the number and asked for a redelivery for today. Chatbot said. You're set for delivery tomorrow, Wednesday.
Today, Wednesday at 7.00 am, the website stated, still updating the status of your delivery. At 7.15 am, the driver drove by. At 9.00 am, the website said...item undeliverable, pick up at this location (80 miles from where I live).
In a community of 80,000 people why can't Purolator find a place for people to pickup missed deliveries? They advertise they have more locations than any other company, yet in my community, we have pickups for UPS, FEDEX and Canada Post.
Desired outcome: I would like Purolator to live up to their claims, and arrange for a pickup station in our community, whether it be like Amazon, and create drop boxes.

Purolator delivery service
I live rural residential, just east of edmonton alberta canada.
We get deliveries regularly from all carriers... except purolator, they always take packages to a rural depot instead of attempting delivery.
The packages always go to "wyes guys" a depot they have chosen. the guy there is a complete dick, zero people skills with the personality of an eggplant.
This location is highly inconvenient and costs me about 10 bucks in fuel to pick up a package, whereas if it went to one of the depots in town, I could go by when i'm there (plus it's closer to me than the rural depot).
I complain everytime this happens and they always give the same bs story that "no one must have been there (at home) to get it", when in fact there is always someone here and no other courier has a problem... ever...
of course the guy is a dick, it's an excuse... and no one cares. near as I can tell, purolater does not have a customer relations team to attempt to improve their service.

Aug 4 2022 my package was supposed to be delivered on Aug. 3, but if it had arrived today Aug.4 that would not be a big deal. What is a big deal is that today Aug.4 tracking says it was delivered to my door,but its not there.I have cancer so rarely leave my home it says was delivered at 10:30,nobody knocked or rang my door bell . I decided to check the status of my parcel at 11 am ,it says delivered to front door ,but it says it was delivered in Edmonton , i dont live in Edmonton.
I have checked with all my neighbours,and called the purolator outlet in Whitecourt,nobody has my package. The package contained a bottle of pills for my sick dog so it is time sensitive and would like my package today.

Delivery time
Purolator is by far the most unreliable delivery service provider in Canada. Why am I still waiting on a very important package that was mailed via express, with a "guaranteed" next-day delivery? Contacted customer service, and spoke with a manager to no avail. I've only received excuses. Now, I'm being penalized for their lackadaisical services. I should be compensated in some sort of way.
Purolator, please STOP offering services that you're not able to deliver! I would rather walk than use your services again!

Late delivery
I applied for india s visa on June 15 through purolaor . The Indian counsel takes 2 to 3 weeks to issue visa. We purchased 2 india s tickets costing almost $ 6000.00 but to my surprise they didn’t submit my parcel till July 15 and our 2 tickets were for July 22 and we are still awaiting the visas . I purchased my package with Bestbuy, they sent it to Purolator perform the deliver. From Vancouver - BC to Victoria - BC
Purolator sent it to a 3rd party agent.
The order was performed on July 03, 2022.
On July 5, 2022 Purolator missed connection due 'Delayed in transit due to missed connection'. Fine.
On Tue. July 5, 2022 - 11:17 p.m, they update it with "Unable to deliver - Heavyweight. Customer will be contacted to arrange delivery"
On Thu. July 7, 2022 - 10:15 a.m. they transferred it to an authorized agent, and since it, no news update.
I open a trace investigation, now is completing 24h and no one contacted me.
I am contacting Purolator through the Chat cannel, they always say the same thing, "This was assigned to a third party delivery agent to complete the delivery for us. It has not yet been scanned returned to our delivery depot."
Today I contacted Purolator again, and surprise, the Purolator is asking why is it urgent to me, what is the content of the package, and in which event I will use it?

Medication delivery
I am supposed to have medication delivered every 8 weeks via Purolator. Without fail, the shipment doesn't arrive on the scheduled day. Today is July 5 and my medication is not here. I called my pharmacy and the current excuse is weather. Today has been partly cloudy with minimal winds. Purolator is the absolute worst. I hate that now my medication is sitting somewhere because no one could be bothered to deliver it. Hopefully they've at least put it in a fridge, so it doesn't spoil. Thanks for endangering my life, Purolator.
I'd like an explanation as to why my medication wasn't even put on a truck yesterday.
Delivery/Pick up
On Thursday, I find a delivery notice in front of my door saying that they were unable to deliver my parcel because I wasn’t home. I was home all day. The new pick up day is July 4 because of the long weekend. I was in contact with customer service to see if they can try to deliver it again. Answer was no and that I can go to the store on Saturday to check. So I check my online tracking which said that my parcel is available for pick up so I rush to the store before work. The lady told me it’s not at the store yet and that there’s nothing they can do. 13 min later I can a text saying that it’s ready for pick up. It feels like they are mocking me. I’m upset and really mad. I’m working until 7pm so I am unable to pick up. I ordered my stuff so it would arrive before the weekend and now they are making me wait until Monday when I needed my stuff urgently. This is a literal joke.

Lost Expensive Item
June 3, 2022, Wednesday, around 6:30 PM, my husband just simply drop off the box to purolator hamilton airport road which is supposed to be returned to amazon. However, he just drop it like that without checking the correct drop off details. The box has a name, address and phone number. Purolator must have contacted us and inform that we drop the item to them by mistake. Unfortunately, they did not even tried to reach us and now the box is missing. We have already contacted the purolator and said they will open the case to their tracing department, however, according to them they have finished the search and they did not find the package. The box contain gaming laptop and it costs us $1800. We even asked the staff in that branch if they have a CCTV camera to check but they said they don't have. So how we can get back our item?
Desired outcome: I want our item to be returned to us.

Purolator International does not give out complaint reference numbers
Why when i call Purolator international, i do not receive a tracking number for my call? I called in today, everything was good, i explained my situation and the representative on the phone was fantastic. he said i would get a call from someone that could help me further because my issue was being escalated. I know the rep was typing info about the issue because the rep advised that me of that. I was happy, until i got a call from the 2nd person, who when i asked for a reference number for my call the rep advised they can only give reference numbers when my package crosses the boarder. what does my package crossing a boarder have anything to do with my call and my complaint? My complaint is the package has not changed status in 7 days. the reply i received is, "they must of not noticed it was not scanned". she gave me the timeline for my package to get over the boarder. When i advised that my packaged fits in her timeline plus all she said is the status should change maybe tomorrow and if it doesn't to call back. How am i suppose to call back without a reference number is my call not being and complaint not being logged? the 2nd rep advised i could just ask for her by name. I guess this rep must only get 1 call a day, i highly doubt she is going to even remember my call. At the end of the day, none of my questions did not get answered because apparently there is nothing i can do till my package passes the border. I felt like a very ignored customer.
Desired outcome: i would have liked a referenced number for my call so if i have to called back i do not have to explain again and so i as a customer can feel heard. the 2nd rep did not make me feel confident in Purolator International.

After 15–20-minute desiccation, their final answer is delivering Monday, June 20, 2022 and hang-up. An after same time I call again long time after answer and hang up. Two to three time hang up, finally one rep. Answer and on my request she put me thru to supervisor. Explain to her every thing, she promised to call back before go home at 8.30 pm. She calls back and said she tries her best, see if thy deliver tomorrow sat. June 18, 2022. On June 18, 2022 call back because nothing is change on web and final answer, we deliver Monday 20, 2022.
In this situation, where is my fault. Monday 20, 2022 I will have my stafe If not then I don’t know what to do I can’t lift 50 lbs. otherwise I can pick up myself.

The item shipped by EBay to Canada arrived weighing under 1/2 a pound when the shipping label clearly states it weighed 3 pounds, why? Because your duche bag employees think they own all the parcels that you trust them with. As it turns out they opened the parcel, removed the laptop and charger then re-sealed the box with clear tape and sent an empty box to me. This is theft and someone should be put in jail for a very long time. Fix this or I will spend the rest of my life letting the world know about your companies continuous unethical behaviour.

Well, I took the day off work on June 9 to receive a new phone purolator states I must be home to sign for it delivery from 8 am to 9 pm, well at 7:30 pm I get a notice rescheduled for the next day. Delivery Time
Saturday 04 June I dropped a package off in Barrie to be delivered to my brother in Nova Scotia. Purolator advertises overnight anywhere in Canada and it was important this package was received quickly. I was told it would not arrive until Tuesday, certainly not overnight, and then on Tuesday was advised it would not arrive until Wednesday. My brother was moving locations and would no longer be at that location Wednesday as it was taking so long to get there. I called customer service who advised that if I changed the address it would not arrive until Thursday. This is really poor service.
Desired outcome: I am going to have to rely on Fox Harbour to forward to my brother and get it to him before he moves again, whatever that costs me, so I should be reimbursed for the $73.20 for this shipment

Package delivery
Package was allegedly delivered today. Checked the mail room for package slip/package. Nothing. Called Purolator who told me the driver was in the neighborhood at 1:31 PM. There is a camera in the mail room and no image of anyone dropping off a parcel or mail slip. I believe the delivery person stole the package and pretended to deliver it. When I called Purolator they claimed someone would call me before the end of the day. No call period.
Desired outcome: I want my parcel obviously.

Parcel Delivery
Requested a supplier ship a parcel on my Purolator account, 31x31x33" by 94 lbs, from Edmonton, AB to Nelson, BC.
Received the shipment several days later.
Received invoice a week after delivery for $1131.93. Purolator elected to send it express and weighed it at 242 lbs.
Called them and told them I expect an accurate weight and a reduction of Express fee to Regular service fee.
They say that their invoice weight is a "volume weight". Umm, aside from the obvious trickery and stupidity of the term "volume weight", the last time I added dimensions to lbs and generated an ambiguous weight like that, I slept on the trampoline for a week. Give it up Purolator, I'm not asking for a freebie, just be honest with your invoices and don't send Express without consent.

The worst delivering company ever! They did not deliver my package on scheduled time. It was told that an incorrect address was provided, even though it was the right address and phone number. The courier did not even call me to confirm the delivery. Don’t recommend!
Driver
We have a driver on our route that is a inappropriate at times. He is generally a very friendly person, but crosses lines with staff at our front desk.
He has made a few sexual references and has tried repeatedly to set up our staff with a "friend".
The final straw was when he mad a rude comment about staff not wearing makeup and how unattractive they are.
Our staff is now uncomfortable with this driver and has crossed into sexual harassments.
Desired outcome: Please have delivery driver on our route changed
