Terrible company who I paid to destroy my property.
I am a business owner. Ship LOTS of packages. Never again with Purolator I've been burned too many times.
I shipped an item double box and inner box was the manufacturers own packaging and box and thr item showed up broken. The aluminum basket was destroyed. The amount of forced needed to break this would be insane. Luckily I had insured it. Opened a claim. Claim was denied.
You are criminals. Anyone reading thus... never ship with Purolator. They will either steal, loose or damaged your property and you are paying them to do it.
Shameful.
In Kamloops BC - worst service ever
It’s common that the packages just sit at the local terminal for days and days and they indicate a number of BS reasons why they cannot deliver. What a scam.
Recommendation: Use another courier or national post. Don’t waste your $$
They mess up, lose your package and lie to you about it.
I have dealt with Purolator twice in the last couple years. Not by my choice, I use a reliable company to ship my things. I am on oxygen 24/7. We went down to Florida for a girls week. I picked up a brand new oxygen concentrator on my way to airport. Left if on charge in car. Found out that it only worked when plugged in. I got a hold of my oxygen suppliers right away. They sent me a new one over night express with Purolator. I never got it, and all I got was lies. A different excuse from everyone I talked to. Ended up, they lost it, but never refunded the $300 to ship it. It ruined my holiday, as I could only go places where there was a plug. Now I am expecting a very important letter from a lawyer. They sent it Purolator over night express. I was supposed to get it 3 days ago, and once again, Purolator is full of lies. They can't find it. This is why I will never deal with this company. My husband worked for them for 10 years, so I know of lots of problems with them losing stuff.
Recommendation: If you want to get your stuff, or ship your stuff, Don't use Purolator. Any other company is much more reliable, and you won't get a refund for them losing things.

I noticed many bad reviews but my experience was great. There was trouble with accessing my building on delivery day, i received a call and got it sorted out and is now on its way!
I spoke with a girl named Krista on the phone and she was unbelievably nice, patient and thorough with information and got everything fixed up.

Returning a package to Amazon via Purolator was fast and easy. Got qr code from Amazon and went to Purolator and scanned the code and a label was printed. Done package read to ship.

The blame game
I don't generally complain about anything but I have to say my experience with purolator definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. I ordered a tv to replace my old one through Amazon and was informed it would arrive by the 20th of January. By the 25th of January it still hadn't arrived. Purolator kept telling me they had the incorrect address which I find difficult to believe because my other amazon deliveries arrived before and after without issue. I even updated my address with Purolator TWICE but they continued to tell me that they could not deliver due to a wrong address? I've come to the conclusion that they use this practice to cover delays on their end. I would not have written this negative review if they had just been honest from the get go and told me that they were back logged and wouldn't be able to make the delivery date.
Unacceptable service
I received an email stating a delivery was attempted and no one was home and a slip was left on my door. First of all, I was home and I have security footage to back this up and no driver came to my door. Secondly, I phoned Purolator right away and advised them the driver went to the wrong house and the representative said they sent a message to the driver stating for them to drop off my package for sure today at the pickup location here in town ( they did not even offer to redeliver it to my home). I then went to the house where the driver left the slip and it stated I could pick up my package after 3 pm. I went to the pickup location at 4 pm and no package, phoned purolator again and I was told the package was sent back to the warehouse because of a rail derailment in my town and I could pick it up Monday (not delivered to my home) and this is Friday! There was no derailment in my town so that's an out right lie! So now I have to wait till Monday to get my package, total bs. All because of this driver, should lose their job in my opinion! Unacceptable, wish I could leave a zero star.
Recommendation: Don't use this company for your shipping needs.

Amazon Canada sent a parcel to me from Vancouver to Vernon, BC. The parcel went through the Richmond sorting facility. It was then sent to Edmonton, Alberta. It should have been sent to Kelowna. I ordered the product on May 06, 2024, for delivery on May 07, 2024. Now it might be delivered on May 10, 2024.
Why would anyone send the parcel from Richmond, BC to another province in the first place? If Purolator cannot hire responsible workers, then they should not be in business. I have asked Amazon Canada not to use Purolator for any future shipments.

On May 06, 2024, I ordered a package from Amazon Canada and it was sent through Purolator Canada from Vancouver. It was sorted through the Richmond soring facility. The package was being sent to Vernon, BC. It was supposed to be delivered on May 07, 2024. Instead, the package was sent to Edmonton, Alberta. It now says that it is supposed to be delivered on May 10, 2024.
I would like to know why it was sent to Edmonton instead of Kelowna. If Purolator cannot hire people that know what they are doing, then I do not want this company delivering my items. I have asked Amazon Canada to use another carrier for all future shipments.

I would like to put a complaint in, I ordered a package back in January, 2024 and was told it would take about 2 - 3 weeks, on March 4 I began to inquiry about my item with the company, they indicated to me that they received notice from Purolator that the package was attempted delivery on February 8th, 2024.
What I am extremely upset at is that there was no delivery notice left on my door or anything like like, absolutely nothing. The said driver that attempted to delivery my package did not leave anything attached or stuck to my front door for me to no that it was attempted to be delivered.
I spent a whole day on March 4, 2024 trying to track my package.

On december 2023 we sold a table and legs supports to NY
and shipped items packaged in professionally custom plywood crates with Purolator ,
The first one with legs arrived in same condition when departed , but the top never made it in good shape to customer . Item was broken in various pieces beyond repair here .
Plywood had some dents on it , totally rough , bad handling probably dropped somewhere
Items can't be sorted using the belt system and are sorted by hand in teams.
Also Carrier charge you more ( 70.00) for Special Handling .

Multiple times now the Purolator driver is lying about trying to deliver to our address. Instead is saying attempted delivery and the package is to be picked up at the depot. There isn't an attempted delivery as we have camera's on the driveway and can prove the truck did not come to our property. We do not recieve an attempted delivery card, just a text to go to depot. The depot is a 40 minute drive each way for us and is inconvenient for us to go. We paid for delivery!

Purolator advertises and charges for deliveries to Sicamous B.C. but they have a driver who has told me personally that he is not paid enough to do that so he will not do it. For me to pick up orders where he drops them off in Salmon Arm is a 78 kilometer drive. I have multiple orders from different suppliers sitting in Salmon Arm that will be returned to sender and have to be shipped threw a different carrier.
Desired outcome: I would like Purolator to start making deliveries to Sicamous as they advertise or open a drop off location in Sicamous for shipping and deliveries.
Delivery
I was to receive my order from Best Buy via Purolator. I cancelled all my appointments to specifically stay at home to get my package. Eagerly awaiting my delivery I was tracking updates every 30 minutes and suddenly I was updated saying delivery attempt was made but nobody there to receive it. (28th November 23)
No attempt of delivery was made, nobody turned up at my door, nobody left any note requesting a pickup and then I am lied to about delivery attempt.
I was then asked to go pick it up from the hub 1.5 hrs away from my home and then they cannot guarantee the time for pickup asking me to wait indefinitely.
Being an expensive package, I am now at their mercy running around trying to contact customer service for a package.
Why run a courier company when you use such strategies to not bother delivering and simply asking people to pick up packages from your hub?
Desired outcome: No second attempt. I want to know a time for picking up my product from a delivery hub closer to my house ASAP.

I ask Purolator to redeliver my package and I wan't home on the day of delivery, November 2, 2023, and they said I signed it and got the package. The signature wasn't even mine and they got the wrong buzzer code. They delivered it to another apartment and said I got the package. First the package was labeled undeliverable due to weather... The package was showing 15 mins away at the depot and it was a beautiful day. I called and they switched it to address issue twice. I had another amazon parcel delivered the day earlier using the same address with no changes and it came fine. When I received the package I can see they took my name off the address sticker and changed it to the hotels name. The original sticker with my name and hotel and correct address were underneath. This looks like they were to lazy to deliver it so they make up an excuse why they can't deliver it. I can see the original sticker with all the correct address information on it under the new one when I pealed it up.
Desired outcome: If you cant deliver it just be honest. playing games and switching the reason isn't nice. Removing my name and putting the hotel name on it isn't nice either.

Delivery driver
Our company schedules parcel pick up and deliveries often, and we typically have the same driver. On multiple occasions, staff has reported this driver to me as rude, hot tempered and unprofessional.
Today my encounter with him was disturbing. Is there any way to request another driver to pick up parcels? A delivery of the package was supposedly attempted on Friday October 20 unsuccessfully.
That's not true because I was home all day.
Consequently no note was left.
On Amazon, I am instructed to wait till October 31.

Today at 11:00 am the driver came in and started yelling at me and he said there is other location her in embrun serving purolator for more than 5 years and now you opened to take their customers and their business.
He said i'm not allowing you to steal their customers

I was expecting a package from Purolator to be delivered to my office today. I tracked the package just now and found out there was an attempted delivery about 2 hours ago and result is showing "receiver unavailable". Everyone was in the office that time and the delivery person didn't even bother knock on my door. I want to contact Purolator via online Chat but that engine is NOT available at all.
