I take care of an elderly gentleman with multiple health conditions. His QLink cellphone went dead on April 16, 2021; it's now June 10, 2021 & this man's cell service still down.
NUMEROUS email messages to the company only resulted in several computer generated messages saying that they received my email, and 2 emails arrived saying that your new cellphone is in the mail.
Of course no phone ever arrives.
Phone calls to the company are useless.
If you should happen to actually get a live person (happened only once), they read from a script, and say nothing
If you call and the QLink line is busy (which it always is), promises are made to call you back in 3-4 days.
However, it's now over a week, and QLink has NEVER returned my call.
The man who receives this Lifeline Cellphone Service Service is elderly, going blind and has numerous health conditions that require he have a working phone in order to contact doctors and hospitals.
This is a terrible company with a non existent customer service, totally useless.
My advice is to NEVER receive a cell service from them!
Desired outcome: RESTORE SERVICE NOW, REFUND MY MONEY FOR A NEW PHONE NEVER RECEIVED
These other reviewers are absolutely correct. This company gets paid by taxpayers to provide cellular service to disadvantaged people yet gives nothing that works reliably and customer service is essentially non-existent. My QLink phone rarely has signal and the unreliability has caused me to miss doctor appointments and other important calls. The optics make it appear that they might be fleecing the taxpayers by charging for reliable cellular service but not actually providing it.
