Frank showed up on time and waited for me to finish off my office meeting
Frank showed up on time and waited for me to finish off my office meeting. During this time he explained everything to my wife and once I was done he gave me a detailed presentation on the product. He was very friendly and my 3 year old kid loved talking to him. He was very patient and answered all our questions and what to expect.
I loved the presentation and *** professionalism is vey outstanding
I loved the presentation and *** professionalism is vey outstanding. We would love to utilize Quality First Home Improvement but unfortunately it is way out of my budget. Such a great experience thank you ***! She was so informative.
was great! He was very informative, thorough and was pleasant to be around. He broke down the cost of everything and was very respectful.

This company starts off with telling you that they offer quality work which is why you are paying a little more, then they give you crappy work. All the promises of no subcontractors and stuff were lies and they did a rush job. You must do your research before using a company like this and believe me it was a learning experience. Never again
We were very impressed with David S***
We were very impressed with David S. He provided a comprehensive estimate for a new roof for our home. He was able to answer all of our questions and provided exceptional service. David was very knowledgeable about his product. We are looking forward to working with Quality First Home Improvement going forward. We felt great about our decision and did not feel high preasured .
Great sales rep, ***. He was very helpful and knowledgeable of the services and company. Offered great advice and valuable information.
I think you've got me stuck in a $25,000+ contract and you keep giving me the run around about doing the work. Wish I had done more research on your company first, but I really trusted your sells rep. and felt he was sincere. I've read horrible Yelp reviews and realize I'm being treated the same way by your company. I'm afraid that when you finally do the work it won't be quality work. Trying to speak with your ***. Not getting any answers."
I have used them before. They do great work. Will continue to use them for future needs.
The Representative that came out went above and beyond my expectations. His knowledge of the companys products answered my questions on future projects.
Quality First did an excellent job installing a new front door, storm door, and side window in my home
Quality First did an excellent job installing a new front door, storm door, and side window in my home. Daniel T helped my wife & me with lots of design options..we chose a steel Provia door. The 2 man crew just completed installation...and we love it! The crew was on-time, had the right materials, and worked diligently to make sure it looked good. And they cleaned up afterwards as well. Highly recommend Quality First...--CharlieT Citrus Heights
They are very experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would highly recommend them.
Charles F from Quality First provided great customer service with my New Garage Door quotes and options. All my questions were answered promptly and he was very respectful of my time.
Ed, our sales rep, was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help solve problems! He called himself a solar evangelist so I think he believes in what he does!
The reps seemed wonderful, but they made so many promises they could not deliver. It started with the roof, they installed the wrong color then refused to respond to us for weeks. They finally brought out an open box of shingles as "proof" that they were the right colors. The next was the windows. They were the highest quote, but convinced us that no other company could handle our special windows since our home is older. They left broken glass everywhere, trampled our flowerbeds, and broke personal items inside then hide them. The installed the windows without screens since they didnt notice they were missing, then when the screens were finally installed they were loose and bent. They also promised to insulate the attack then backed out saying there was *** and tube (electrician confirmed there was not)We feel like they tricked us to get us to sign off on paperwork knowing they lied.
Quality First Home Improvement is aptly named "Quality First"!
Quality First Home Improvement is aptly named "Quality First"! Colin and Tom were very knowledgeable and informative in providing exemplary customer service from start to follow-up. The crew was early to begin our concrete project and very thorough in the execution and details; hard working people respectful of property. Final results were excellent! We will contact Quality First Home Improvement for any future projects that add value to our home. Their project line is wide ranging and their mission is second to none. Very highly recommended!
This company wowed us with the promise if an everything covered warranty
This company wowed us with the promise if an everything covered warranty. Promised that installers were personally trained by quality first for weeks and held to their highest standard. That was all a lie. The people who installed our windows said that it was their first week and the work was contracted to them. They broke one of the windows upon install, my toddlers window who's room is on the second floor. It's now been a year if trying to get it replaced and they have stopped returning our calls. We purchased from the greatness of a warranty but it's useless when they don't even fulfill their end of the warranty.
They came to my door looking for opportunities which I considered since who doesn't have home projects on their list to do
They came to my door looking for opportunities which I considered since who doesn't have home projects on their list to do. The sales rep Aaron seemed very genuine, but the rest of the company lacks communication and following through to finishing their job. I am still stuck with a backyard project which lacks "proper drainage" and I paid a substantial amount for approx. 840 sq. ft. of cement. I have made several attempts to reach the people in responsible for this job, but I may need to take actions to the next level as this has not only put off my other backyard projects but also ruins the quality of the work as it has not been sealed or colored and adequate drainage. If I could add photos to this review, I definitely would. I started this project in January and no one has yet to follow up.

They are no longer a quality company in my opinion
They are no longer a quality company in my opinion. It took months from signing a contract to getting part of the windows installed. Their excuse was COVID. Fine, but then they shouldn't be trying to sell a product that they cannot get from the manufacturer. The installers did a terrible job and when the first rains came a few weeks later the water started coming in through all of the windows that they installed. They came out to reinstall them, and they still leaked when the rains came again. They came out for a third time and finally got them sealed, but not before our baseboards were ruined due to the water. It took almost 6 more months to get the rest installed, and they were missing screens. I was told a couple of weeks, and it took almost 3 months of me calling and finally contacting the main office before I got a response. It took almost *** that it would be 6 weeks. My advice to anyone stuck in a contract with them: If you financed, don't release the funds before the work is completely and 100% finished. They seem to be more motivated to answer your calls then.
My sad house had been through 15 years of neglect due to health issues
My sad house had been through 15 years of neglect due to health issues. When Quality First entered the picture from the first gentlemen who knocked on my door representing the company, to the workmen who did the wonderful job to completion, these are people who really believe in their product and their company. It is evident in their demeanor and their knowledge. The gentlemen I met were, Colin, the representative who came to the house to present the company and its products to me; and Oleg, Max, Anotoli and Andre who actually did the work. Much of the back of the house needed the wood panels and underlying insulation replaced, there were patches of dry rot to be removed and replaced with new wood, and of course a whole new paint job to be done. What I noticed most for the 4 days this process took was that these men wasted no time. They all seemed to know what jobs they were to do, they worked cohesively together and talked very little! I was amazed and impressed by their focus and professionalism! When they completed the work and I did my walk around with Oleg I noticed a few places around the overhang where the flashing had separated from the wood which left tiny gaps. I pointed these out to Oleg (now mind you, the workmen had nearly finished packing everything up and were about ready to leave.) But Oleg stopped them and got out tiny nails and paint and ladders so they could address the issues I noticed...and they did it without complain or any indication that this was a bother to them! I would recommend these people and this company to anyone who is looking to have a job done by caring and trained professionals using quality products with a genuine concern that the final result is perfect!

Quality first installed solar panels on my home early ****
Quality first installed solar panels on my home early ***. I had a pool built by premier pools completed in may ***. I then asked quality first to do concrete work and patio cover. I was told we could get financing from greensky but needed a co-signer. My father agreed to co-sign. Initial estimate including insulated patio cover exceeded $55,000.00 limit on credit. I was offered additional loans but could not afford more loans. I was then pressured to do a non-insulated patio cover instead to make the price fit under the limit. I was NEVER given copies of paperwork or itemization. The work was completed and I signed a paper stating permission for my father to be on the loan. The company somehow illegally put the entire loan in my fathers name and maxed it out at the full $55,000.00 limit. I regret dealing with this company as they did not respond to me for over a year for other issues and now want to charge me even more money to upgrade the solar system and change the patio cover. I want an itemized receipt as I believe I was grossly overcharged and I want our patio cover replaced with an insulated model so I can install a solar heater for the pool.

We chose Quality First for our driveway and walkway based on initial recommendations
We chose Quality First for our new driveway and walkway based on initial recommendations. We understood we were paying a premium price for a premium product. However, the job was sub-contracted, and the concrete quality was poor once set. They promised a 4-inch thickness, but the walkway had thinner spots prone to cracking. A crack along the driveway's edge also appeared. We questioned the overall job quality. The company asked about additional jobs, but we wanted the current issues fixed. The Project Coordinator documented the issues but didn't follow up as promised. Our further attempts to get a resolution have been ignored.

The consultant showed up 1 hour late of scheduled time. After I refused to work with them, I have been harassed by phone calls several times a week for the past few months. They change numbers so there is no way to block them. I have been telling them every single time removing me from the call list but it has not been working. I need some one helps me to tell them stop calling me.
I had my roof replaced in the last quarter of 2015 with Quality First based out of ***, ***. The initial replacement involved a complete tear off, replacement of comp roofing. 3 years later the roof leaked in the back portion of the house. It took several months to get a response and then repaired with mismatched comp roofing. 3 years later the roof begins to leak again in the front portion of the house. I contacted the company in March and and was in contact with *** (project manger). He had someone come out and review the the issue. The person stated they will submit work order and go from there. Almost a year later I am still trying to get a response from this company. The company is not following up on the Workmanship Quality and *** that the warranty should cover. Not sure I would recommend as I cant seem to get this company to stand by their name Quality First.
Over the last tear I have had several inverters on a solar system Quality First installed need replacement
Over the last tear I have had several inverters on a solar system Quality First installed need replacement. The system is under warranty , Enphase provides the replacement parts and Quality First does the repair. Each time it takes several weeks for Quality First to get someone out to do the work. And a couple months later the system has problems again. The current issue started on 11/01. Another inverter failed, I called Enphase on 11/02 and the approved the warranty claim. The inverter arrived at my home on 11/15 and I called *** at Quality First. I have been promised that people would call me to arrange the repair, been given dates when no one showed, had to call several times to get someone to respond. I was told on 12/27 that someone would come out no later than 01/10/2022. No one showed today and I called to see what happened, no responce as of 4pm. This has been an on going issue with Quality First, it takes over 60 days to get something done. Enphase also told me they need to do a full system check before installing the new inverter as they should not been going out like this. I shouldn't have to make several calls, follow-up when no one shows, and then not be able to get a repair date.

In November last year I agreed to have a solar system installed by Quality First
In November last year I agreed to have a solar system installed by Quality First. The agreement was that I would take out loans to cover the cost of the installment and that my monthly SMUD bills would be eliminated month by month and there would an year end under/over amount based on usage throughout the year. My electric bills continue to accumulate The history of my bills that were (according to Quality First) going to be replaced with payments towards the solar system are summarized below: SMUD Bills November $140.45 December 162.81 January $153.67 February $106.85 March $56.71 Total of $620.49 The bills continue to accumulate. This situation is unacceptable. I am not getting any response from anyone I have spoken to. I handed over my network name and password so that the system could be setup and monitored online, after that conversation I have not heard from a single person regarding monitoring of the system. As far as I am concerned this system is completely non operational. This is not what I signed up for, I am now stuck in a situation where I am paying double my existing electric bills (more in some cases) and all I get from Quality First are platitudes about 'taking care of it', if they bother communicating at all.

In 2006 I had/have a contract with Quality First to apply a LIFETIME coating on my home [including trim]. Also, two windows installed [both of which leaked come the first rains]. This will be the 6th [or 7th] time I've had the coating peel, flake and crack. Plus, the caulking they used is of extremely poor quality [especially when using this, supposed, "highest quality", oil based coating. Plus, found out they use a very poor, water based, undercoat. Every previous contact with Q.F. has been an nightmare! Playing phone tag having to send snail mail letters threating them with Diamond Cert. Co., contractor licensing board and yourselves. The coating [in back of home] is not only peeling and flaking [like all previous times] but this time it's exposing the cheap caulking which is at the seams and gaps of the siding and trim. The post holding the overhang, in front, is now, also, starting to loose it's coating. In stead of causing my BP to soar-PLEASE HELP! They're may be a previous.
We signed a contract to convert our patio into a sunroom with Quality first on September , the job is finally completed July however throughout this process we have had continuous problems, we even agreed to stop the work for at least a month, we just didnt have any trust in the company that they would complete the job. We had problems with contacting no return calls and no shows. The sunroom finally passed inspection on 3rd time.In july when the job was completed, we called regarding the deadbolt on the French doors, having problems with it locking, they had one of their workers come out and he didnt bring any tools. we have email *** and *** and explained our problem, they said someone will be out the week of September 12, well we have not heard from anyone. The sunroom cost over $30,000 we are both elderly, took us a long time to save for this and I would at least hope that Im able to lock the French doors.Need to resolve.
Hired Quality First for windows and sliding door replacement. After initial visit, installers left the sliding door unsecured due to missing parts and hardware. We couldnt lock the doors as they didnt have the hardware do it: we had to cut 4x4s to block the doors so they couldnt be opened from outside. Could not get a call back or approximate return date. When they finally returned, they installed the missing parts incorrectly and had to come back to replace the part. Still left the other issues unresolved. They didnt hang the door frame correctly and blamed the framing of the house, but the original door had no issues other than age. Its been over 2 months and still not completed. Installer would call and say they would come but then never show up. Just want this job done and completed.
Date of transaction was August . We had our roof replaced and it cost us over $21,000.00. Shortly after the bathroom fan in the small bathroom quit working and then this October the room started leaking into our heater. We called Quality First and talked to *** at ***. She said she would get back to us. It has been (5) days and we have heard nothing. I do not know where to go from here.Wew could really use your help with this.
Tired of reaching out to Quality First (QF) Solar team multiple times over phone and email
Tired of reaching out to Quality First (QF) Solar team multiple times over phone and email. We haven't had any response/resolution since more than 6 months. Here are the support tickets opened with them - *** and 513254.Our Consumption for the past 2 yrs (before the Solar Installation in May ) was in the range of 5800kWh - 6000kWh. Hence, we were recommended this 8 count of 370 panels, which were supposed to generate *** kWh (370 kWh 8 panels5.5 hrs of sunlight per day on an average 365 days) as per our usage. However, based on the MyEnlighten (QF) report - the panels didn't produce *** kWh/year, they produced *** kWh/year (difference of 1101.16kWh, which is approximately 20% less). In the very first year itself, the panels haven't produced energy as per the expectation. I don't expect it to be any better in the subsequent years.Note: PG&E said during the activation/inspection that these panels are not going to produce ***kW/year and said it will produce only *** kWh/year. When I reached out to *** (from QF team) that time (May 22), I was told that QF team will reassess after 6 months and add/change additional panels free of cost, if needed. However there hasn't been any response from QF. Please help me in fixing the issue. I paid $15,000 for *** kWh of electricity per year and I am clearly not getting that.

11.05.21 got in contract for a new roof
11.05.21 got in contract for a new roof. The sales person, ***, was walked around the house and showed the areas of dry rot. A contract was signed and noted All Dry Rot Included. 11.08.21 the project manager came to complete a presite inspection. I reiterated regarding the dry rot under the soffits and the rafter tails. I walked him around the house so that he could see it for himself as I could not afford to pay a dollar over the quoted price.11.26.21 work started. After removing the soffits and gutters it was discovered that most all of the rafter tails and fascia board were rotted. At this point my roof is off, down to the slats. *** already had a change order drawn up which stated that another $1,800 was needed for unforeseen dry rot. I was told the company is taking a loss on this job and *** stated now that since they are taking a loss that he cannot afford to buy presents for his nephew now. I explained my contract states All Dry Rot Included and I had that added to protect myself. My husband asked since we are paying the additional $1,800 if they would replace all the old purple board, about 4 fascia board that were not dry rot, and we were told yes. The next day when the workers left I looked at the work that was being done. The rafter tails on whole right side of the house and the whole back of the house were cut off flush to the house and a new 12 inch 2x6 piece was butted to my rafter (which is 2x6) that was cut flush to the house and braced with a approx. 12 inch 2x4. It does not go 2/3s up my original raft, not even 1/3 up. On the left side of the house and the front of the house they married boards together. My rafters tails were cut down to 6 inches and another 6 inch board was married to it and then a 12 inch board was married to the side of it and there are gaps. I also called the building inspector and was told my permit did not state dry rot was being repaired it only stated a new roof.

Purchased roof in Nov 2020, fully paid in an undisclosed amount
Purchased roof in Nov 2020, fully paid in an undisclosed amount. Installation completed in a single day, initially appearing satisfactory. However, on Oct 24, 2021, amidst heavy rainfall totaling 5 inches, a significant leak emerged, causing the bedroom ceiling to partially collapse near the HVAC unit on the roof. The roofing company inspected the next day, attributing the leak to an improper HVAC base, a detail omitted from our contract and never communicated to us. Temporary flashing was applied, and we were advised to consult an HVAC specialist. On Oct 27th, the HVAC service identified improper sealing by the roofers as the source of the leak, contradicting the roofers' diagnosis. They also discovered additional leaks unaddressed by the roofers. Despite video evidence of the roofing fault, the roofing company, through various representatives, denied responsibility and declined further repairs, suggesting legal action instead. Faced with their unprofessionalism and blame-shifting, we are considering legal recourse to rectify their negligence.

In May I purchased a roof ($25,000) along with solar paneling ($10,500) both installed by Quality First Home Improvement (QFHI)
In May I purchased a roof ($25,000) along with solar paneling ($10,500) both installed by Quality First Home Improvement (QFHI). After the completion of the roof the solar panels were to be installed. The electrician/solar installer were contracted by QFHI. The roof was marked with chalk lines to indicate where the solar hardware should be installed. The installer missed the studs, "using the chalk lines" on the roof and drilled three holes in the roof. I noticed this a week later while in the garage, as sunlight came through the ceiling. Upon my inspection, I noticed the installer did miss the studs in the roof and drilled through the new roof and shingles. The installer tried to cover up his mistake by using clear silicone. It was over 100 degrees that week, so the heat from the sun just melted the silicone through and it barely held. This was in August . I reported what I found to the electrician/installer, the project manager, sales team QFHI etc. who inspected the roof, took photos and agreed that the shingles should be replaced, not repaired. Someone (I don't know who) attempted to correct the issue by "patching it up" with black silicone over the clear silicone-this is not acceptable in my opinion. It's been weeks, now months with very little cooperation or contact from anyone on how they will resolve this issue. Just a lot of "we're looking into it" or "someone will be contacting you and coming out"! QFHI claims they are aware of the issues and have reviewed my concerns. But still nothing! They've indicated that they need to coordinate with the roofing company and electrician in order to have them come on the same day to complete the job correctly. There is also an issue with one of new window locks that needs attention. Finally, I have some concerns on their billing practices, I purchased a roof, gutters, paint, windows and solar for $68,000, QFHI only reported to the finical company that I purchased solar equipment for some reason? contract #

My contract for my window installment was made on 4/3 and says it was supposed to be approximately from 6/1 to 6/30 to be completed
My contract for my window installment was made on 4/3 and says it was supposed to be approximately from 6/1 to 6/30 to be completed. I believe it was 6/14 or sooner that the demo/installment took place. After the demolition of my previous windows, the contractors brought in the new replacements windows to begin installing. At that point is when I noticed there was a crack in them. The contractor advised me that this happened on the route to my home and that his supervisor *** was aware, and the replacement will be here in a few days. The previous windows had been destroyed when taking them out so the cracked had to be installed at this point. When finished, the contractors asked for the remainder payment of ***. The down payment of *** had already been paid. I told him I needed to speak with his supervisor first. On 6/15 *** called me, and I let him know my concern for paying full price on damage merchandise. He understood and stated he needed to come back out and measure the broken windows for replacement. He never showed up. I contacted my salesman *** to let him know the issue shortly after. Months go by and i get a few calls from other salesman, Installers and *** about not getting my payment. Each time nobody seems to know about my cracked windows. After another month goes by and its now 09/22, *** sends me a text stating they are requesting final payment. I called him to see what the issue with my windows and he states he didn't know about this. I ask him if I may speak with his manager. I tell him my situation because he states he is new to the company but has heard about my situation. I send him pictures of the windows before they had been installed, showing him the cracks. he texts back that he has everything he needs at this point. 10/19 I get a text, "we are waiting on your Glass". 11/9 another text "Friday for install. Nobody shows up. On 11/16 a text comes in windows were cracked, reordering

To sum things up, The air filter purification system consisting of a filter & uv light was initially $2500
To sum things up, The air filter purification system consisting of a filter & uv light was initially $2500. A $100 deposit was required up front and the rest paid when they installed the whole thing. The UV light was installed a couple of days later. When the gentleman came and measured my AC register I asked him how much the filters would cost since they would have to be replaced periodically, he said $475. During our conversation He said the filters are on back order because of the demand for them, Also he verified I had a second smaller AC register in the master bedroom and measured it as well. after a few days, The gentleman that sold me the product stated that the additional filter cost would have to be added the contract so an additional charge of $400 was added as an amendment to the bill which I agreed to and signed. Over time they would stop by to check on the status of the install, I would tell them filters haven't been installed yet. fast forward a few months from July(the contract ammendment was a about a month from the initial contract purchase) My wife fields a call stating we have to pay now, in which she responded they didn't finish the install yet. We get a letter stating they put a lien on the house in which we have to pay an additional $500 to the $2800. When I called and complained I guess they figured out that they had not installed the filters. Because of this treatment I told them we no longer want the filters and to subtract the filters cost from the total I will pay that as I no longer want their business. When they called back, they said they can come again and measure my registers again for the filters or take off $100 off the amount for the filters. Naturally, I got very angry since I already knew that the filters cost about $400. They charged me an extra $400 for the second one and only to subtract $100 for both filters I told them no and I wanted them to remove the device they installed using my deposit as payment for the work and restocking fee. Today they show up at my door wanting to measure my registers again after I told them I no longer want them and to subtract the real cost of the filters to me from the total.

Roof Replacement Contract Amount $37,271.00 Date of contract 10/20 Sales presentation made at my home. Roof sheathing was to be smooth finish plywood imported from Canada, not OSB material. Oct. 27, 2020 9:16 AM Made contact with the salesman immediately upon seeing the OSB product on my roof. Made it clear to him that the material that was placed onto my roof was not what we agreed to. 9:57 AM Salesman stated in an email, that he was sorry for the inconvenience and was looking into it. 10:21 AM job foreman (***) called me to say that he ordered OSB material as stated in our contract. I explained to *** that our contract does have any such OSB wording anywhere on our contract. *** said that our contract does have OSB as our roofing material. Wed. Oct. 28, 2020. Meet with *** at my residence to go over the OSB material issue. It was decided to have a meeting with the sales rep. present to go over the OSB material issue. Meeting set for Thursday Oct. 29th at 10 AM. Thursday Oct. 29, 2020 10:20 AM. Meeting at my residence with the sales rep. ***, ***, job site foreman, *** Sales manager and one other sales rep. no business card available. Our sales rep. *** confirmed that he was under the impression that we were getting smooth plywood imported from Canada. *** indicated that he ordered OSB as stated on our contract. *** presented the original contract that we signed showing that we agreed to OSB as our roof decking material. I told *** that the contract that we signed did not have OSB listed anywhere on our contract. I presented my copy of the contract for all to view. It was plain for all to see that they had modified our contract after they left our house. Someone had added additional verbiage to the original contract without our knowledge. All four Quality First representatives present were embarrassed by this discovery that our signed contract was modified after it arrived at their office. The sales manager *** indicated that he must have written that on the original contract because most everyone gets OSB material as it is a little cheaper. I told *** that we did not agree to the cheaper material. Our contract calls for smooth grade plywood imported from Canada. *** said that he only ordered what was on his copy of the contract. *** said that we could opt for pulling off the material that has already been nailed down or write up a new contract at a lower price. I indicated that a fair price for the roof job using the current material would be in the neighborhood of $20,000. *** worked with his price sheet and did not come close to my suggested price. *** and *** agreed to go back to the office today and see what options are available to them from upper management. Option #1 Tear off the existing OSB that was nailed down yesterday and start over using the material that was written in our contract. Option #2 Write up a new contract with a lower the price that we can agree on. I was supposed to get a call back yesterday afternoon with a proposal to resolve this issue. To date I have not heard from anyone from the Quality first.

In July Quality First inspected my house for dry rot and from the sales pitch I was assured that they were a high quality company and highly rated with the Complaintsboard.com! He showed me certificates with all their awards. I told them I wanted all of the dry rot replaced because of HOA demands and because I was getting the house ready to sell. As they removed the siding *** told me the workers found even more dry rot on the back side of the house around the chimney and the price I was quoted went up by about $3,000 for a grand total of $23,000. I already felt I being overcharged and so I was not very happy about the additional charge. When I reread the contract I saw I had no choice but to pay the additional money. I licked my wounds by telling myself that it would all be taken care of and done well! I knew that I could have the house all fixed up and sold prior to the having to make payments on the loan, I chose the paint and had them repaint the entire house. My house was inspected on January 22, only about 6 months later, as a condition of its sale. The dry rot the pest inspector discovered is estimated at approximately $6,000 to repair. Some of the dry rot is exactly around the backside of the house around the chimney area where that additional dry rot was "found"! I was contacted by my realtor on Monday, January 25th with the news from the inspection. I immediately called *** at *** First with my frustration and concern about why I had so much dry rot in such a short period of time. He said that sometimes there is "hidden dry rot" and he would call the team which worked on my house right away. I called again later in the day to follow up. He said he had been trying to reach *** with no success. I called again the next morning on January 26th and again was told he was trying to reach ***. My realtor was getting frustrated because the realtor representing the buyer wanted to know if we had a deal. I called *** again and he gave me another song and dance about the weather and *** not returning his calls. I told Jim I understood the rain was a factor, but that I just wanted to have *** come to my house and meet with my realtor to show him the dry rot and see if it was fixable quickly if the sun came out so I could decide what to do. I asked *** for *** number so I could try calling him and he did give it to me. I called *** and he immediately answered his phone. I asked him if he had spoken to *** and he said he had called about an hour ago. I said that *** has tried to reach you for a couple of days. *** seemed confused by that. He said no, I just talked to him about an hour ago. I explained that I wanted him to come meet my realtor even if it meant with a raincoat and an umbrella and he said no problem, how about tomorrow morning at 9am? That was Tuesday. They met and my realtor said we were supposed to hear from *** about scheduling the work. I did not hear back from *** until Saturday morning January 30th at 11:43am. I told *** I wanted the contact information of the owners of the company. By this time I had decided it was too late because Escrow was to close on Tuesday, February 2. Based on what I observed this company do to the house next door I couldn't afford to take the chance that the house I am selling had anything happen like that. One of the reasons I signed with *** First is because my neighbor had the dry rot on their house fixed and repainted and it looked good, and I will admit my house looked great! However, when they had the patio cover put on later (which after my house was then completed) the patio cover crew said, we cannot complete our task because there is so my dry rot here. Wow! They would never have known. Thankfully, it was still under warranty because their house, like mine, had just been recently completed. I would never had known either if it weren't for the fact that it had to be inspected as a condition of its sale. As I was writing this, *** just called to say he could be at the house tomorrow to start working on the house. I told him it is too late. *** did not get back to me in time and the buyers wanted an answer this last week and I signed the paperwork with the notary yesterday. To appease the buyer I had to take off $6,000 off the selling price of the house so they could fix the dry rot. They can do it at their leisure and still rent the house out, which is their plan, It is a cash offer to buy the house and I cannot lose this deal because the work this last summer wasn't done correctly in the first place.

and *** are great! Very professionalism and knowledgeable. We were very impressed with their ability to identify our needs and provide recommendations. We look forward to doing business with Quality First Home Improvement!
