CHARE OF $60
THEY ARE VERY VAGUE IN THEIR AD THAT YOU CAN LOSE $60 RIGHT AWAY AND WALK AWAY WITH NOTHING
I THOUGHT THE $60 WAS FOR BACKUP WHEN I WON SOMETHING
THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN ANYTHING BUT THE MONEY
I HAVE COMPLAINED TO THEM 4 TIMES TO NO AVAIL!
Refund Refusal
QuiBids would not refund me after I decided to close my account with them. It was just 48 left but it was mine so in my book that is stealing. I will never deal with them again. I am very dissatisfied by this type of online business.

I clicked on to this site to just check it out and decided not to go furtherr with it and xed out and forgot about it until I got my discover bill with $60.00 on my bill? I never authorized this and I never bid on anything. I want my 60.00 taken off my discover bill or I will go to the wv atty gen. about this. This is not right, I have been scammed..
Took money and prevented bidding
QuiBids charged me for a bid package, the charges are $84.00. When I proceeded to attempt to enter active auctions and bid on them by clicking on viewing active auctions, their software put my computer into an immediate and hard shut-down. This potentially messes up my computer's software. After 4 attempts of trying to view active auctions in different ways, I encountered the same hard shut-down every time. I finally gave up trying to use their system. They still are charging me for the bid package purchased. Efforts are ongoing to retrieve the money they are charging me.
I used Quibids once, saw what a scam it was (apparent shill bidding, etc), and stopped. There was still some bidding credit. I received an email from a customer service rep after a few months stating that they were going to cancel my credits because they didn’t want to keep carrying an unprofitable customer. They even stated that I would need to spend a lot more if I wanted to win something because I couldn’t expect to win as often as I apparently (to them) expected.
Ok, I don’t really want to use their site, but neither do I want them to rip me off further for the value of the credits. That’s just plain not right. I objected, but they were firm: spend more money or lose it all. So I lost what was remaining just because they stole it from me. Stay away from these thieves.
I have just tried to recover the balance of my payment to these people and they claim I have bid 61 tunes therefore no refund. I know I did not do this but they arrogantly refuse to deal with it honestly. I know they have found a way to claim all these bids electronically.
My advise is to stay away from them altogether.
QUIBIDS online penny auction site, isn't a real auction! For weeks QUIBIDS pop-ups and television commercials advertised a warehouse of brand new overstock, so I went to site and I purchased the cheapest introductory package for $60.00 which is 100 bids. I read that I would lose a bid if I didn't win item, 20 seconds are added to time every time the "bid now" button is pressed and that unlike amazon and eBay, everything is new! I saw pictures of winners paying $2.50 for iPads and laptops. I immediately started bidding on a kerrig coffee maker, I think the bid started at .24 cents, I pressed bid now, then others out bid seconds later, now .28 cents, I keep bidding .50 cents, .51, .52, .53, 55 cents, so every time someone hits bid now it goes up a penny, BUT THIS ISN'T A PENNY! Each bidder is paying .60 cent per penny per bid and everyone loses big money, like myself $60.00, I didn't realize that loser paid. Other imaginary bidders are out bidding at micro speeds, every 2-4 seconds! Therefore, 10 seconds left on the clock can go on and on and on, so 100 bids is really nothing! I asked for a refund, which I was denied, because the rep said there very clear about rules on website and that it's not there fault that I wasn't educated on the auction process and that I was paying for a service that I might win the item ( imaginary number on screen) $1 on the screen is 100 bids which really cost $60.00! He said this is how their able to supply items, so what happened to all this overstocked in the warehouse? Oh...i could buy it for an additional $144.00 more! No thanks quibids! Anyway ...QUIBIDS is a rip - off! Stop and think, anything that sounds too good to be true, remember this lesson! Another scam, it's like playing a slot machine, keep dropping money in it, in hopes of winning the jackpot!
I canceled my account immediately after reading the entire terms for bidding. I have not received my refund to my credit card it has been almost a month now.
I am trying to do the same, recover my money. They are very misleading and dishonest. I can't even get a response from them for my emails and their phone is unreachable. They don't even seem to have an answering machine to take messages. I feel so ripped off!
Hello Carol,
My name is Blake Brown, and I am the Public Relations Coordinator for QuiBids. I am sorry to hear about your frustration. Bids from purchased bid packs that are unused are always fully refundable. Bids that have been used in an auction, however, are no longer refundable. You can request a refund for any unused bids here: http://www.quibids.com/help/support.php
You can also email your issue to our support team at support@QuiBids.com.

Buyer beware
Anyone considering to engage in an auction online please be very careful. I went to QuiBids.Com. I thought I was making bids for a penny only to find out each bid cost me 60 cents. I didn't realize this until I was over $300.00 in the hole. In order to cut my losses, I purchased the item. What I ended up buying cost me $630.99 when the same item would have cost me $499.00 at Wal-Mart.
This was my own stupidity, I repeat it was MY STUPIDITY...Please don't be duped in doing the same thing!
Any auction site is a scam; just look and see if it is https! If not then why would you give pertinant information on a site they cannot secure. They will change their name once they get too many complaints; and good luck to anyone who tries to get their money back.
I was scammed by this but under a different name; in my process of getting my refund, I relied on others who had the same experience (found at scamraiders) and my obsession with logging all information and keeping copies of all " live chats" after they lied on the phone. In the end I won and would never ever even take a look at an auction site for fear I would see others doing what I did, but I learned.
Good luck and were I you I would "bid" them a big goodbye.
its a scam wityh bots
Don't be sucked into buying bids from this site. Not only do the fees kill you but the bots are on almost every auction especially the large ticket items. Just today a $6000 Australian trip was won by someone that was bidding every minute for over 24 hours. He had not ONE previous win but somehow had 1263 real bids and 1593 voucher bids without winning anything before. How did he get the voucher bids? Dont start using site until they have some auditors monitor users and accounts.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
QuiBids is a total scam. The site rakes in $$ millions and misleads the public that they actually have a chance to win auctions. If you've bought enough bids (an auction site with a 'buy-in requirement'?, sounds like gambling to me), you can enable their bots to bid for you or you can choose to sit glued to your computer with Bid Now button presses every 10 secs for the next 24hrs. This is an illegal online gambling site where a buy-in is required and then used as bets against others. The more bets (bought bids) you have the better chance you have of winning, however your timezone also factors in and the West coast has the best possibility of winning (since higher desireable items are seldom posted after midnight pacific time) plus the automated 'bots' the QuiBids has running to simulate real users will interfere with a real bidders ability to get an item without paying a 'minimum' (which they say they don't require... but the bots will make sure it's met).
Don't fall for it like I did. $60 down the drain, with nothing to show for it. Show me a true auction site that $60 in lost bids would amount to losing $60. They don't exist.
Search "Quibids are Scammers" on facebook and like me please!
I completely agree. THEY USE BOTS ! I have observed it several times.
Rip off and time consuming scam
Better now than later. I spent sixty dollars and got absolutely nothing. They charge you to did and the bids increase buy one cent. A waste of time and money I can not believe I fell for this mess. I got a hundred bids for sixty dollars and everytime you bid you lose a bid. This is a joke they have created a penny-anny bidding war. This site is ridiculous and is ripping off hard-working people who just want to buy items at an affordable price. They invest money in the beginning to bid and end up with nothing at the end. Shame shame shame .
Non Delivery of Winnings
QuiBids.com is DEFINITELY a scam... I had the unfortunate cross with the site, and though it was a great opportunity to purchase a few thing's at a great price, being the recession and unemployment at it's all time high, I thought it was a good idea, and tried it. well, the bidding never stop's, it keep's going endlessly, making you place more bid's. I only won two 25 bid's voucher's, but never received it. and they deducted over $45.00 dollar's from my account. "FOR NOTHING IN RETURN".

your absolutely right!
product not as promised, or delivered
I purchased a product(jabra bluetooth) that showed up significantly later than expected, it was used, the package was opened, and it didnt work. (wouldn't link to my phone, which is probably why it was opened)
another puchase (calloway golfballs) never arrived.
they have slow service, lead you to believe tracking will be available, and fall short, not to mention products not arriving, or being used!
Definitely a very smart fool's trap
This site is not an auction: every bid costs a credit, which is money: who has ever seen an auction where the bidder has to pay for each bid increment?
This site is closer to a lottery, but not quite the same, since you need to buy several "tickets" for one raffle.
This site is really about gambling, since you have to increase your bid in order to stay in the race until it closes.
But it is twisted gambling, and of course in the site’s favor.
First twist: at poker, or in any gambling game, the gambler knows the odds. Here, the gambler does not: unknown and uncontrollable pool of bidders, unknown and uncontrollable gains (since you won't know the cost of purchase until the end). At Quibids, the house manipulates the odds, as they do anything they can to build the biggest possible gambler pool (the larger the pool, the less chance to win) with their interest at heart (maximising bidding) and not the bidders’ interest (understanding the odds of winning). Their system only pays lip service to informing the gambler, who basically makes betting decisions blind-folded (the site gives Motherhood and Applepie advice like wait the last 10 seconds to bid...yeaah, right, but does not show stats about when to bid, by category of product, for instance).
Second twist: it is a resource-exhausting gambling system. To win, you simply have to exhaust competition, and any bet you placed early is lost as long as it is not followed by another bet. In most gambling games, like roulette, every bet creates a chance to win, whether it is a small or a big bet, and the House cannot disqualify a gambler just because of lesser resources. Here, at Quibids, if you want to see the outcome of your bid, you just have to keep bidding ... and paying.
In fact, the QuiBits system is banking on irrational behavior in order to make money. The best auction scenario for QuiBits is one that attracts a lot of bidders for a trendy product and lots and lots of bidding happening in very small increments. In such a scenario, there are lots of fools, but the biggest fools are the ones bidding early. But they contribute to traffic and bidding, thank you very much. Clearly, BIDDING EARLY IS NOT A RATIONAL DECISION. Then, why would a bidder want to bid early and exhaust credit resources for impossible odds? Bad instincts, fueled by gambling fever and dreams of affordable luxury. But also, poor information made available by the site. QuiBids does not help the bidder strategize: But of course, this would not be in their interest, as it would discourage early bidding, which of course would be the kiss of death for the site.
In the QuiBids environment, late bidders are not much better off: as bid increments remain small, the gambler’s pool size is not likely to get smaller until people fall off the cliff and get resource-exhausted. QuiBids could have chosen a system fairer to the gamblers, like increasing the bid increment as the auction progresses: increasing the bid increment would create higher stakes for late bidders, thus reducing the bidders’ pool and increasing the odds of winning (which would partially compensate late bidders for investing more money on the auction). Instead, they maintain or even reduce the bid increment (I actually saw QuiBits reduce bid increments in the later stage of an auction for a $1300 MacBook Pro, from 15c down to 5c: I thought this was so unfair to bidders…): it is all about pushing traffic and bidding…
At the end of the day, to determine if a gambling system is fair, the test is simple: it is about how much money it returns to the gamblers. In Vegas, if you play the machines, the machine returns 90% or 95% or even 97% of the money. In the Quibids system, I would not be surprised if they return no more than about a third of the money. Plus they apply additional fees ("transaction fees"), plus when the site is popular, they will leverage the traffic and make money out of advertising revenue... The beauty of all of this is that they don't even need to buy the merchandise until it is sold through an auction: there is zero risk for them! they sell first, and then they buy the stuff before shipping it to the "winner". I betcha, soon, they will auction coupons for automobiles: you win the coupon and you go directly to the dealer, QuiBids will not even have to bother shipping you the car, you’ll do the legwork for them. What a system! Maybe I shall imitate them and build up my own QuiBids website...
The bottom-line? Definitely a very smart fool’s trap. No doubt about it!
Quibid has to be the biggest form of rib off site on the internet. It is set up to suck peoples money, most people do not realize that they are feeding a Monster with no end in sight. Example: if an item retails for $100.00, the company will collect more than $500.00 for the item, even if one person wins this item at 1 cent, the company would still collect a hughe amount of money. The company's tactic is very misleading. for every 60 cents a customer spends on one bid, the price of the item goes up by 1 penny. Most people will think, hay, I could buy an item for only pennies, but in reality they lose thier shirt trying. The process is absolutley stupid. I logged in to check it out for the first time, they obtained my credit card information and then charged my account $60.00 for 100 prepaid bids. I did not realize that every time you bid on an item, 60 cents is deducted from the account, in less than 10 minutes I lost $60.00 dollars and was asked to buy more bids if I wanted to stay in the game. I did not realize that I had just lost $60.00 for absoultely nothing. For any new custmer this will be a major trap. I complained to the company and told them that if I don't get my money back I will file a complaint with the state, they refunded my bids only. This site must be closed immediately and people should not log on into this account.
I want to be contacted directly, immediately AND I would like a phone number to contact quibids directly. I cannot find a phone number anywhere.
Does not give the ability to remove credit card info...was on for two minutes on the first of the month and am being charged $60 per day since?
95 % of Quibids'products are 10 to 30 % higher than actual retail selling price. Eg... a eos 7d 18mp pixle was priced at $1, 750. One can buy from some retail places for $1, 299.
First of all, real auctions do not take your money unless you win the bid and you receive property in return. Quibids is a lose lose situation. You pay to play. You lose the bids. You spend more on buying bids and bidding than you actually win. Why would bidding on an item equate to winning anything? You lose your money whether you win or lose a bid. How is that fair? They are only suppose to take the winners money. They are taking your money whether you win or not lol? This does not sound like an auction to me. This is worse than playing casino games. Sounds like a fraudulent casino to me. You waste $60.00 on items supposedly someone has won for less. I guess we can conclude that Quibids takes your money if you lose the bid and they take your money if you win the bid. Lose lose situation. I cancelled my card right away when I saw the unauthorized charge of 60.00. I had the bank number on my card changed and requested a new card. That instantly deactivates the the card.
Quibids Denver Craigslist scam. I have found over 20 fake selling ads on Craigslist from the Quibids scammers. Most of them Craigslist have taken down but many are still up. Not sure why I found them all but Craigslist havent. Craigslist should hire me because they still cant find all the ads and I did. Im sure its on Craigslist Nationwide.
Quibids Craigslist Denver Scam. Quibids have scammers pretending to sell phones. They are on Craigslist Nationwide Im sure.I have reported over 20 fake cell phone ads in the last 48 hours.pictures are attached of the email response and original Craigslist ad.
I have already sent one email to QuiBids requesting that I receive a full refund to my credit card account in the amount of $63.00. I have been waiting to hear back from QuiBids for several days now and I have been trying to reach them by phone with no success. I would like to hear back from them immediately.
Quibids is definitely an unethical company and in the end, a scam to
defraud you of your money. If you search the term "Is Quibids a Scam
Matt" on google you'll see many websites that have proof about Quibids
unethical tactics. Or just go straight to quibids-the-scam DOT Com
Best thing to do is go to OKC and shoot the scammers that run the site.

Hello!
My name is Blake Brown, and I am the Public Relations Coordinator for QuiBids. I am sorry to hear about your frustration. The $60 is indeed for purchasing those 100 bids (at $0.60 per bid). If you no longer wish to participate, we will be happy to refund any unused bids. QuiBids does have a refund policy which extends both to purchased bids and for items won through auctions. Follow this link to get more information about our refund policy http://www.quibids.com/help/faq.php?search=refund&x=0&y=0
Thank you for your time! If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact our support at support@quibids.com
Blake
Your $60.00 bought you 100 bids that cost you $0 .60 each.
These 60 bids are then used to bid on items. Each bid only shows up as a 1 cent increment when you bid.
When you bid 10 cents on an item, you actually spent $6.00.
Those I-phones that you see advertised for selling at $12.98 actually sold for $778.80.
The lucky or un-lucky winner gets an I-phone and Quibids makes a ton of money, pure profit.
You have to read the fine print to understand how it works. It is a legal rip-off. They will not refund anything to you.
Buyers beware. There are no I-phones for $12.98, only a lot of suckers.
Use Ebay. What you bid, is what youi pay.
