Hidden Fees
My rental agreement is up at the end of the month June 30th. I just saw that I was billed for a phone/mail extension for three months that I did not agree to. I was a customer for four years and I actually had a good experience up until now. I paid always on time. I am requesting a refund for the extension service for the next three months. The latest update is that they said this was a required charge and it is not. It was optional and I opted not to be charged. I am having my mail forwarded via USPS and I changed my phone number. I moved in on July 1st 2014

rental office
Run as Fast as you can from Regus
I am so frustrated with this company.
They hide fees, misrepresent rental agreements, bill randomly to your accounts.
They are absolutely the worst company on earth.
Worst professional experience in over 18 years as business owner!.Spend your money elsewhere! In over 18 years as a business owner, this has been - by far- the worst professional experience I have ever had. The management is poorly trained and poorly equipped to handle their jobs. "Upper" management response does not exist - they don't answer phones, they don't answer emails, they will never provide their names or contact information. There is absolutely no concept or concern for customer service or satisfaction.

office services
We Renoir Consulting (India) are having virtual office at Regus Santacruz.
Due to your services are not proper and not provided the same in 3 months we (Nov. 17 to Jan 18) deducted amount from your bill Rs.5000 as services lapses and this after we asked for clarification but there is no reply in time.
Later on Regus stopped the services due to deduction but no one has taken initiative to ask client for such deduction. When we followed up for bills we Ms. Mamta Shetty and Mr. Nikhil promised me will check and get back in to the matter.
both of them accepted the lapses in services but no one is ready to accept the deduction. Inspite of follow up with them there is no result and Regus send third party collection email without invoices provided to us.
Ms . Mamta Shetty given assurance in last 1 month that she will provide invoices but there is no reply from her side.
Is it way Regus works or provide services to client. And charge for client where Regus have fault and they don't care to take proper action as well acceptance of deduction.
whey Ms. Mamta and Nikhil accepted the lapses in services then why deduction is not acceptable. We are not deducting full amount of three months services, it per month INR 1666.66 against Rs.14K bill.
Can I expect to resolved the matter.

Datta Joshi

problems with billing and accounting
I have a contract with the Puerto Rico office. I am on direct debit and I always paid timely. Lately I have been receiving letters from Regus Latin Services saying that I haven't paid, charging me again for what I paid and threatening to report me to the credit bureau. I have written Regus Puerto Rico and Regus Latin Services and haven't received an answer. I am going to have to cancel the contract and file a complaint with better business bureau.
The Complaint was against Regus, not Villares Señeriz Law Office. That is my office and I was the one that made the complaint. Regus said that will take care of it. I hope I don't have any problems anymore. However because of Complaint Board's mistake I am receiving emails about a "negative review". Therefore I want to remove the complaint.

fraud, ripoff. stay the hell away
I'm surprised this company is still operating in the US, they are everything that is wrong with bad business practices, fraud, ripoff and anything that is associated with bad business. From their illicit fees to hidden charges and the highest turnaround in incompetent, unprofessional and bad staff starting with the CEO Mark Dixon. He is never ever available to resolve any issues with tenants because he's based in the UK and his only concern is collecting money from tenants. They change their policies month to month, they sell enticing office spaces to get you into lease offering all sorts of promotions, however the moment you sign their agreement they start their fraud. I'm personally filing complaints on them with NYS Attorney Generals office, NYC Dept of Consumer Affairs, this is a fraudulent company and the Feds need to investigate and crackdown on them. I'm so frustrated with them that I'm doing everything in my power to report them to all Goverment oversight agencies! They have been using illicit business practices to defraud clients far too long! Outlined is just a few of their illegal and illicit business practices they employ! They have thousands of complaints lodged against them, and the only way to get their attention is by filing reports with Government Oversight Agencies within their operating States!
1-They charge a late fee if you are 1 day late with the rent whether the 1st falls on a weekend or holiday they will charge a late fee if you don't pay by the 1st.
a- charge expensive copying fees,
b- printing fees
c- use of the kitchen fees
d- monthly access keys fees
e- internet access fees whatever you can think of name it they charge for it!
2- by the 10th day of the month they suspend your service,
3- They hold on to your mail and most times destroys it
4- Theyre hidden fees will get you wrapped up in charges that you didn't even think is possible
5- They have no IT department to resolve any technical issues you may have
6- Theyre customer Service is horrific
7- Theyre Unprofessional, they yell cusses and blatantly lie to you or on you
8- They will try to lock you in to an agreement even when you don't sign a lease with them, you must cancel your lease at least 4 months prior to renewal otherwise they will automatically lock you in with more hidden fees
9- Theyre turnover on their employees/receptionist at are like a revolving door most cases their employees don't last 6 months.
10- They use illegal and bully tactics on every single tenant.
11- if you try to break your lease they harass you and threaten to sue you
12- Stay the hell away from this Ripoff of a company.

lease space
I would not recommend Regus as a provider of lease space. The staff on site are wonderful but the business accounting practice is a nightmare. They will put in the contract in fine print a Business Continuation fee of 867 that you will have to pay at end of the term. This is not the way I do business. I always exceed the expectation of my clients instead of hiding things in and say oh well. I started as a virtual office and then converted to a full-time office. I rarely used but thought I would give it a shot to see if the business could grow enough in one year to renew after a year. They screwed up the accounting for months with the conversion and it took multiple months before they could get all of the accounting straight after the upgrade to a full-time office. After deciding to not renew my final invoice included an 867 fee for Business Continuation that they had hidden in a contract. Not good business practice to do this. I have been trying to get this removed. After no success getting this removed or getting my deposit returned. Whatever you do make sure you consider all other options before getting a space from Regus.

physical office location — texas
In the beginning my Regus representatives were fantastic. They accommodated all of my needs and helped me make sure that I was taken care of. After my original reps left the company, I was being treated unfairly and with no concern for my experience as a customer.
I own a single person LLC, meaning I am not a big corporation or make a lot of money. In fact, I was depending on my day job to pay for everything until I lost it. I didn't realize I had to pay exit fees that totaled over $1, 000- something I simply cannot pay because I have to worry about my bills and putting food on the table. I tried asking Regus for a payment plan but instead was told I had to pay everything in full. I risk going to court because I simply cannot pay the exit fees and Regus isn't willing to work with me despite the fact I was a loyal customer for 3 years.
I asked customer service (again) about my balance and they told me my balance is now zero (0), which is very confusing.
I will never use Regus again. I will tell my colleagues in the industry to avoid Regus like the plague.

security deposit for rental space not returned
We leased two office rooms from Regus at 100 S Bedford in Mount Kisco for 6 months. A contract was signed, and in addition to the first month's rent, we paid them $4, 200 as a 'service retainer' to be returned at the end of the lease. We paid them on time, without fail, and provided a 3 month notice before the end of the lease as required that we will not be renewing the lease. We vacated the premises on Mar 28, and the lease ended on Mar 31. As of May 15th we still have not recd the retainer back even after we had agreed that they could deduct their office cleaning charges etc. When contacted them on May 3, they asked us to sign a form that would: 1. Give Regus a right to hold funds for 8-9 weeks. 2. Give Regus the authority to make electronic withdrawals from our account for unspecified debits if needed. 3. Regus wanted sole and absolute discretion to make debits from our account. I declined to sign this form as we already had a contract in place governing our relationship. Regus asked to give them our Bank info on their web site so that they could return account balance. I did that. Now 6 weeks since we vacated the premises we still have not recd the money back. When I contacted them today, they indicated that unless this 'paperwork' was done they will not make the refund. I cannot give them unfettered access to my bank account. So we have a problem.

anyone - regus auto review sucks - did anyone take this to court
I have been in contact with Regus for the last few months. They have resolved my issue. I sent an email requesting that my service to terminated. The office stated that I went into "Auto Renew". Really! I sent them an email well in advance. I did NOT even know that there was an auto-renew policy. It was fate that I canceled when I did. However, Regus is still forcing me to pay. They just sent my Company to Collections; while I still have a monthly service with them. Wow! I like the service, great staff buy the policies SUCK! Does anyone have a number where I can get HELP?

automatic renewal of lease
I'm very disappointed with Regus Automatic Renewal of Lease.
My current lease will be expired on 7/31. I got an email saying the last day to stop renew the next year's agreement is 5/1. I missed the date but went to the office site on 5/2 trying to cancel the automatic renewal of lease. Of course, a lady at the front desk declined my cancellation request. Surprisingly, she was very rude and seemed angry at me (although I think I'm the side who has been unfairly treated). I simply asked her to explain the terms and asked if I can cancel or terminate the renewal lease, she stood up and answered "you missed the date for the last notification so you cannot cancel it. You must pay the rent until 7/31/2019. You can try contacting the manager or the corporation but nothing you can do to cancel it", then she interrupted the conversation and started talking on a phone. I called the manager right away, and he promised to work on the case. Now a week after that, I've heard nothing from the manager. I sent follow-up emails but no respond at all. I tried to call the manager on his cellphone but he didn't even pick up the phone.
You mentioned "Once your agreement has renewed, we will confirm it but if anything isn’t to your satisfaction we will still offer additional options if we hear from you quickly after the event."
I've contacted both the local office and the customer service, they told me there is no other options, once the agreement has been renewed, the only option is to complete the whole term. There is even no early termination policy.
I understand why people say it sucks:
+ only email notification
+ 90-day notice to stop automatic renewal
+ auto renewal with increased price
+ no cancellation policy
+ no early termination policy
+ no downgrade option
+ no returned calls from the manager

face with victim made by regus as medizane a.s.- inc.
Dear Sir/Madam,
We would like to inform you on our disappointments with Regus company management in Turkey, after having worked for many years.
We have been a customer of Regus as Medizane A.S. - Inc. (Since our company was just start up) company and we used to have an ongoing relationship with Regus until this nasty experience.
Due to a wrong legal issue (that will be approved after our open court will finalize), the management of Regus took a decision to shut down all of our operations without providing us any information, notice or any comminication.
Our company telephones (the assigned numbers to our company by Regus) have not been answered and most importantly no information message have been delivered to our customers. We understood this issue after our customer complain about us through Instagram regarding our phones are not reachable.
As our business is mainly pursued by customer relationships, there has been a significant commercial loss on our companies financials and prestige.
Even, we tried to reach the management of Regus, it has not been possible for us to reach Mr. Ihsan Erol as the manager of Regus Turkey. As a feedback, we had also some bad experiences in the past with Mr. Ihsan Erol while trying to upgrade our Regus package and rejected to sign it (the contract conditions was completely different than we had agreed on words.).
We believe that there is an enormous mismanagement that contradicted with Regus International customer based approach worldwide.
In addition to that, every customer has a solid right to reach out to management and to discuss every possible solutions.
Unfortunately, this has not been provided to our company and this is not in line with the Professional approach of Regus International.
Especially for an office solutions company as Regus, it is very suprising to face with a lack of comminication as that should be its priority profession.
Considering our longterm relationship, we wanted to inform International management on this mismanagement issue.
Please be informed that we were one of the most important Regus Turkey customers and also supporters for encouraging all start up companies and searching outsource solutions companies in our environment to begin with Regus. With the personal approaches and the ethical understanding of current management of Regus Turkey; it seems to be opposite, from now on. We will be searching for compensation of our losses and try to explain in every field our victim made by Regus.
Looking forward to understanding international Regus ethical approach and vision regarding the issue above.
With our best regards.

unethical behaviour
All I did was to ask a general enquiry via email and I received 10 missed calls within an hour on the first day and another 12 the following day. I had to blacklist thr number on my phone.
Is Regus that desperate?
I went about to do business with another company because it was totally annoying to be called 10 times in an hour like I owe them something.

force tenant to pay for a wrong invoice
Yancoal Canada has notified to terminate the lease agreement one month earlier, but Regus still sent me a wrong invoice including one more month rental fee. I had talked to Regus and sent emails several times, but Regus refused to modify it, meanwhile force me to make a payment now and threatened to charge the late payment fee.
Our financial department never accepts a wrong invoice and make a payment.
I never found a company like Regus in Canada who refuses to modify the wrong invoice and still force the tenant to make a payment ignoring my several times of request.

lack of communication and abusive contract
April 12th 2018 - I've signed a contract for 1 year with Regus Canada, this contract will finish late april, at the begining of the month I've tried to see in the website how to finalize the contract, I clicked on the button but received an e-mail that I should send an e-mail 3 months before my contract finish (how I will know that!?), they told me, they sent an e-mail that I never got. How it's possible, the put this small detail in the middle of the contract, they don't the contract with you and know they want to charge me 12 months for a place that I will not use, it's make no sense at all.
Hi, I've sent yesterday an e-mail to customer.service@regus.com with all our informations and I'm waiting the response. On the other hand, I received an e-mail from the local team saying that even I didn't know about this clause about renewing or even I didn't receive any e-mail, I'll be forced to stay with regus for another year, I don't want this and at the end of day, I'll pay for another 12 months without using the service, on my point of view it's not fair and make no sense, it's sound dishonest and I don't believe that regus is a dishonest company that will force someone to continue to pay for a service that you will not provide. Thank you for your support, and I just want to be free from regus.

high pressure sales
I made a general inquiry of Regus and now they phone me at all times of day and night and 'associates' email me constantly. I have asked to be removed from their database, but they just keep coming. Someone called me today and didn't listen to anything I said then cut me off in mid sentence. This call was followed by another email and yet another call. How the hell do I remove myself from their contact list? I think they should be shut down and sued for harrassment.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
unfair terms and conditions
I have very bad experience with Regus, they cheekily insert 3 months renewal clause in their termination, now I have to just pay 3 months without using it. I signed up for monthly renewals but not 3 monthly. This is kind of imposed on me without my notice.
All I have been asking regus is that stick to the terms and conditions that are explained to me when I was signing up.
How can they change renewal terms without my authorisation?
Regus sucks. I am from Milton Keynes, UK

virtual office
I bought a subscription with Regus which was active from 1st of November 2017; The subscription amounted to INR 4, 118 per month, and I also paid a one-time retainer/deposit of INR 3, 490 which is refundable. The subscriptions include access to their lounge area and the internet facility at their Sector V center, Kolkata; The subscription also included access to their day office for two days per month which could be booked through their online app; I was never able to book that through their app which was an error at their end as the app didn't have an option to do so. I missed one crucial detail before buying this subscription that their center allows lounge access from 7 am to 6 pm, and I have a need mostly during evening time, so the subscription is of no value to me. I decided to use the location one day which was the first day of me using the bought subscription; I went to use their offerings, but couldn't enter the building as the parking was full so decided against it and went to a coffee shop instead. I also felt disappointed with their approach and service; they contacted me so many times before me buying their subscription and didn't even care to give a welcome call or something where they educate me about how I can use the offerings. The only thing they bothered about was me buying a monthly subscription and linking a credit card for auto-debit payments; I am glad now that I haven't linked my card to their website then.
In reference to the above-stated issues, I decided to cancel the subscription on 30th of November, 2017 which was the 30th day of my subscription activation date. I didn't use their offerings for even a single day and found their offerings useless. Here's the email I sent for the cancellation of the subscription with them.
"I purchased the subscription last month and it was active from 1st of November but unfortunately I never ever stepped there to use the facility even for one single day; I guess the working hours is a big constraint on back of my mind and me being an IT guy, we prefer working after 6 pm. Please cancel my subscription and let me know what I need to do about it. This was a bad purchase where I got 0 value in return."
They replied with the following two emails:
First one,
"We regret to inform that the request for termination of contract was not accepted as mid-term cancellations are not permitted ( refer to 1.4 CANCELLATION Clause in Terms and Conditions of your agreement with Regus). However be rest assured no further bills will generate on your account but the Outstanding bills needs to be cleared.
A total outstanding of INR 8, 237 is pending on your account. (pls refer to SOA and Invoices due attached herewith)
Net payable amount post deduction of Retainer Amount (INR 3, 490) is
INR 4, 747.
Below is your final O/s summary : (invoices attached for ref.)
Total O/s = INR 8, 237
(-) Retainer held = INR 3, 490
Total Net O/s = INR 4, 747
Net Total o/s payable = INR 4, 747
Sincerely request you to pay the net o/s charges of 4, 747 INR to avoid reporting to collections
We have forwarded your request for termination as per your tentative date 28th February 18."
Second one (I think this one is from collection),
"Dear Sir/Madam,
We repeatedly attempted to contact you but we were unable to reach you.
This is to confirm that You are in breach of its agreement with Regus and currently owes an outstanding balance of INR 45, 300.40.
We have initiated legal proceedings in respect of your breach of agreement and will report your total outstanding balance to a credit bureau if you do not get in touch with us without delay.
Invoice/Detail Amount
Unpaid invoices INR 8, 236.60
Unbilled used services INR 0.00
Remaining agreement value
Oct 2018 INR 37, 063.80
Total INR 45, 300.40
The funny part is that in the first email Regus employee wrote; Pay this invoice and we are good, and you will receive your retainer deposit in return. But in the second email they asked to pay for the future months as well which means "You don't use and not allowed to cancel, but need to keep on paying us."

unauthorized credit card charges
My credit card has been direct debited for the amount of $2, 973.13 on the 27th march without authorization. I have expressed interest in renting a office for the temporary period of july to september for this year. However no authorization was given to take out money so early. I would like to request a refund asap as this has left a bad taste in my mouth in dealing with such a large corporation. My name is mohamad zreika and email address is [protected]@hotmail.com
