Relogulf were recommended to me by a friend in the UAE who had used their services to relocate within the Middle East. Normally I would pay extra for a household name. I asked 3 agents to quote my move from Abu Dhabi back to Melbourne, the Relogulf salesman, Tyron Farrell, came to my house, and as an Australian was easy to deal with, friendly & pleasant. He gave me a great quote, responded promptly to my questions, and even suggested that I ship my airfreight directly with Etihad rather than using their service as it would be cheaper. On moving day, despite being an hour late, the packers were pretty efficient and friendly, so far so good. When I returned to Australia, it took less than a month to receive notification from Relogulf's Australian shipping agent, Hellas Europe, to contact me advising the ship carrying my belongings had docked in Sydney, and could I complete the necessary paperwork. I did so that day, and was really impressed I wouldn't have to wait long for my furniture and clothes. How wrong I was. It took no less than 6 months of waiting, weekly phone calls to both Relogulf and Hellas Europe, legal letters, even a visit to the Relogulf office in Dubai by a friend. The staff at Relogulf, from Tyron Farrell, Kathy Ashbey, Neil Price and Phil Davies, are all a pack of liars, and could not care less about you or your possessions. How they have remained in operation is beyond me. They repeatedly tried to blame Hellas Europe for the hold up, refusing to take my calls or respond to my emails. Hellas Europe were only mildly better, blaming Relogulf for the delay because they hadn't paid them to release my belongings from storage. The moral of the story is, DO NOT use Relogulf and DO NOT trust your valued belongings to a company who does not belong to an international governing body such as FIDI.
Good luck - quite honestly this issue was the bane of my life - I was at my wits end on how to deal with the problem, and no amount of phone calls, emails, etc got me anywhere. The MD of Hellas told me to back off my efforts in harrassing them as it will only make it worse, to be patient, and that my issue wasn't as bad as most of the others - unfortunately this didn't do anything to appease the situation! I hope you get your items quickly.
Wow. I am in Australia now and was expecting relogulf to ship my items two weeks ago. From reading these complaints it seems that I will be in trouble. Is there any advice on dealing with them to ensure the delivery of my goods?
I agree with all the complaints WRT Relogulf, just been held to ransom by them for unpacking my container which arrived in Dubai, no communication, bad attitude, damaged goods, poor service quality, the list goes on and on and on, avoid at all costs.
Our experience with Relogulf and 2 key members of their staff has been the same as the other complainants. Tyrone Farrell is a very plausible consultant, however, once we gave him our business, there was no willingness to respond to our emails or provide us with a true update of the state of affairs. One issue that was definitely understated was the point that it may take a LITTLE longer to fill a container leaving Dubai and heading for Fremantle, W.A.
Kathy Ashby also failed to respond to our queries and emails about the progress of our goods. We were lucky that we had a friend in Dubai who could start ringing and demanding answers regarding the status of our shipment. Our goods were picked up and taken to Dubai on the 10th July and MAYBE left Dubai just recently (end of Nov) Or perhaps late Oct, as 1 email suggested. We are unsure whether to trust this latest assurance. Having read the comments on this site we have yet to deal with the problems associated with the company that receives the goods in Fremantle and is supposed to deliver to our door.
I think it is essential that anyone thinking of using this company re-evaluates their decision.
Relogulf and Hellas both need to go..I have had nothing but trouble with both of them. I had Tyron come out to my place in Al Ain and assess the cost of shipping my goods back to Melbourne. He seemed friendly, told me his wife was working at a law firm in Abu Dhabi..so I used that company. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE THAT WAS...My goods have been in the country since August, it is now December and there is still no sign of it. Neil Price emailed me to say they have paid Hellas, Hellas say they haven't been paid by Relogulf. I have the consumer affairs onto this now. I am finding the whole experience depressing can any body tell me how long did it take to get their goods from these companies..I blame both Relogulf and Hellas..Hellas are rude, don't answer calls, or even talk to you.
DON"T USE BOTH OF THESE SHIPPING AGENTS, don't go through what I have gone through
I can't second this more. Waiting for more than four months being ping ponged back and fourth between ReloGulf and Hellas Europe. Both are absolute disaster. I don't know what to do. I'm planning to take legal action against them.
I have the same problem, they do not answer anymore to my emails, boxes missing and goods not yet delivered! Thinking of leagal action as well. I sent the stuff last summer and received only part of it.
Has anyone had any success in retrieving their goods?
I Used Relogulf to ship my stuff to Brisbane... What a HUGE mistake that was. They Actually sent my container to Sydney! its now been 5 months and I still dont have my stuff. Relogulf has not paid their Australian partners "Australian Vanlines" which based in Auburn. I have paid for GST, customes clearance and everything else but Australian Vanlines is refusing to release my container as they have not been paid yet by Relogul. They are ALL ### companies with a bunch of liars and running them. Phil Davies of Relogulf has got it coming to him. Australian Vanlines is equally as F***ed up and careless. My question is, how are they allowed to hold peoples containers in storage because THEY have not been paid by THEIR business partners? How the F**K does this concern me? I never asked or signed an agreement with AUSTRALIAN VANLINES to ship my goods. If they agreed to clear my container and deliver it to me with their Business partners Relogulf, then thats EXACTLY what they should do. It should not concern me they are not getting paid by RELOGULF. If anyone wants to take legal action against these companies please count me in.
Test..
Ok this works.. Hi all I am also in the same situation and it's getting me frustrated and stressed! I arranged my goods to be shipped from Dubai to Perth back in June 2012 with Relogulf. I got an email from Vanlines in Sydney giving me the good news that my goods have arrived along with a $200 customs invoice and a form to fill out with requesting delivery information ie. address for delivery. I was so happy to hear my things could be arriving any day... 3 months later I am still waiting! I was told by Vanlines that the bill hasn't been paid by Relogulf therefore the container has been put on hold and there are 9 of us sharing this container! Is anyone else one of the 9 people? Shld we get some kind of group together and demand payment? Or lets broadcast this on 60 minutes and show the whole of Australia that Relogulf are incompetent and are a scam! Any advice would be much appreciated? I can just sit back and let this problem persist! I got in touch with Tyron, who no longer works with Relogulf.. Phil Davis and Neil Price are the Directors who we need to be onto!
Please note under international law and Australian Law an agent can not hold your goods due to non payment by their partner - if you have paid your local charges that were not included in the origin agents quote then by law the shipment should be delivered - I would suggest that you take this up with Department of Fair Trade and include in your costs any cost incurred for hiring items, buying clothes etc
All are members of the http://www.iamovers.org/ and Van Lines is a member of AFRA in Australia you should lodge complaints to these bodies - the scarey think is Van Lines is actually also the IAM Ethics Officer
If youi have goods outstanding also lodge complaints with Australian Customs and Australian Quarantine - two separate bodies - explain your situation and give as much details as possible on what has happened in Australia and details of Relogulf so they are aware of what is happening - if you are insurred also follow up the insurance company - do not sit quietly raise your voice as these are your goods and you paid good money to get them moved - ex UAE lodge a compaint with the authorities there as well as bad movers should be dealt with to get your own goods and protect others - look for areas on the web where you can compalin and do so - do not be scared by threats from shoddy companies.

They are still operating in the UAE, and are about to 'rip off' numerous amounts of client's as the busy season is around the corner. They must be stopped. They are going to make as much money of the next few months, then leave the UAE forever, leaving ALL debts unpaid.
Most of you will never see your shipments again if you do not act now. Goods CAN be auctioned off, and I know this for a fact.
Pleasde contact UAE authorities, and have these CROOKS imprisoned ASAP.
This comapny is also operating in the UK, Europe and other areas - they did operate in Asia but that operation was taken over by Writers and now seems to be operating well - it is best to use agents that do not have complaints against them as ultimately it is toi easy for companies to cut and run leaving lives shattered - in the UAE there are many good movng companies - look for accreditation by FIDI, OMNI, IAM, PAIMA - even with goor reviews on a companies web site these are often fake and posted by the company itself to make it look good.
If in doubt go to the embassy or consulate of the country you are moving to and ask them for a list of accredited agents and not only talk to an agent at the origin but also at the destination - a little bit of homework can save you a lot of heart ache.
If moving to Australia contact AFRA as they can advise on decent agents in Australia.
Also look at www.truelocal.com.au
Research who the agent will use at destination and aks them questions as well - but remember agents are always looking for work so will sometimes not answer fully as they still want the opportunity to make money so will support an agent that maybe is not so good.
Please Please Please do your research on who you are dealing with as these are your goods.
I relocated from Dubai to UK beg. of April and I am now waiting for my goods to be released from their Southampton warehouse. They own the company in the uk - ReloUK where my goods are but have not paid their staff so they will not release my shipment. I have just contacted Action Fraud - they have advised as many people as possible affected by this to contact them in order for the police to get involved. They are UK Action Fraud - tel: UK [protected]. I am also contacting Police direct. Neil Price and Phil Davis have so many excuses 'missing documentation' is the one I am now getting. My shipment is in a consolidated container - I have just found out another client using the same container who has been waiting since beg. of January.
In the UK you could contact BAR to see if they can assist you and also report their actions to the IAM in USA which they are members of.

Please help to propagate this link on google. People need to be warned before hiring this company.
Thanks!
Dear AndresFines, we would like to discuss your particular issue with Relogulf, i would email you directly but you have chosen to use a alias to post your content. Please contact us on enquiries@relogulf.com so that we can discuss further.
Hello there,
I am also in a constant battle with Relogul in Dubai. I moved from Qatar to Bahrain LAST September and the goods left last June!
They arrived here no worries. However, in my shipment there were two breakages and so as soon as I saw this I started the insurance proceedings. I filled out forms sent to me by the Dubai branch, took pictures etc...
It is now May(almost 7 months later) and I am still waiting to get the insurance money back?! There was a 4 month gap of inactivity from them, so I naively thought that they were processing everything so I emailed to find out what was going (as you do). The Operations Manager Rosa Menezes still hasnt replied to my emails(she was the one I was dealing with). Everytime I contact them by email or phone, they are out at the port, on lunch etc etc... Even Phil Davis cannot be bothered to write more than a few sentences in an email. Marcus Maguire left the company a few months ago and he was fantastic! I wonder whether his leaving coincides with the company doing so badly?
I am comtemplating legal proceedings against the company; I have nothing to lose and ALL to gain! If anyone wishes to get in touch about having a joint case please do so.
All you guys, thank you for bothering to post your woes. I am in the process of considering Relogulf for my shipment.. Haven't paid yet. Thought it would be nice to do a bit of a research on credentials online. Had all of you not bothered to post, I would've been another victim. Thank you. Saved.
Unfortunately my Wife and I fell victim to these cowboys when we moved from the UAE to South Africa.
All went well until they had our money then the trouble began. It took them six months to send our shipment and after promising us they DO NOT USE 3RD PARTIES, we had to deal with a 3rd party company to clear and deliver our goods here in SA, costing us more money, even after the extra cash Relogulf asked for on top of our initial bill as early on in the process we changed our destination from the UK to SA, and had to pay extra for it.
Emails went unanswered for weeks at a time, we were lied to on the phone, being told that our shipment had grown miraculously from 15.7 cubic meters to 20 cubic meters. Once our shipment finally arrived we had one broken item (luckily), a marble topped table which was all but smashed with the frame twisted so much it wont stand on four legs. Now we are arguing with Neil Price (after Relogulf botched the insurance claim), who seems to think that climate change is responsible for the damage, as opposed to some idiot's misjudging the weight and dropping it. There have been so many more issues with them I can't even count, everything blends into one big mess after almost a year of dealing with their BS.
They should be jailed for the confidence tricksters they are.
I am also a victim of these ruthless criminals! PLEASE ADVISE! I desperately need some advice from anyone else who has been through this and actually successfully retrieved their goods, even after a long time. I moved from Dubai to Sydney last August... my goods arrived in Sydney in October, 2 months later - all good so far. I was contacted straight away by Hellas Europe to inform me. However, that was 8 months ago! My goods are STILL stuck in Hellas's warehouse and they will not give them back to me because they say that Neil Price (aka compulsive liar and utterly without a conscience) at Relogulf 1) has not paid them and 2) will not send the final documentation to release the goods. I have been living out of a suitcase now for 9 months! It is making my life a misery as everything I own in the world is in those boxes. I have made constant phone calls to both Relogulf and Hellas and have been sending constant emails. Both parties blame each other and Hellas are now saying that Relogulf are not even in touch with them and owe them a considerable amount of debt, of which they haven't paid. I have lodged a complaint with the Fair Trading but they called me today saying that there is nothing much they can do, even though they want to, as I have my original contract with Relogulf and not Hellas Europe. But surely I can do something? Hellas are the ones holding my stuff without my consent! The Fair Trading dept told me all I can do is report to the similar authorities in Dubai which may do something, although may not. I am visiting Dubai soon - maybe I should get the police? Please, if anyone has already been through this and got their goods back please can you advise of what steps I can take, I feel so helpless and this is all so upsetting. Thanks in advance.
And also, has anyone from Dubai got the police involved yet? I am going down this route next but just wondered if anyone had done the same and what happened? These guys need to be locked away behind bars for a long long time...
Yes I know of someone - will find out what the Police said. Hopefully no one else will suffer like all of us!
I have used them also and apparently my goods are in the uk but according to relouk they are not part of the same company and are a third party and I can't get my good released as they have not payed for the laying fees I am sharing a container to be delivered to Scotland the fortunate thing is my husband is still in Dubai so i am hoping he can get this solved
I engaged ReloGulf nine months ago and my stuff are still with Hellas as their hostage. Won't repeat all of this as I sound like a broken record and everyone have also explained. I believe we should file a class action in Dubai and also take a police report to lock both Neil and Phil up. Their employees told me thru haven't been paid since January' and they are still hiring more people and getting new customers. Fools! They call it high season! Good time to steal from more people.
Sooner or later they will be behind bars. I have no doubt. What they've done to us will chase them to their graves.
Please let me know if you wish to be part if a class action.
With so many complaints against Relogulf why are the authorities here not doing anything about it. Good hardworking people are losing money because of this underhand company. We are looking to relocate but will NOT be using Relogulf. Thanks for posting in this site to keep me and others aware of what is happening in Dubai. I hope you all get this issue resolved soon, before the owners of this company does a runner.
We used Relogulf for our move from Abu Dhabi to Ireland in January 2013. The website and testimonials were good, the initial meeting went well with professional service and quote process. The quote was AED14, 000 - this was competitive so we accepted. The removal staff were good packing all our goods professionally.
The first warning of a problem came after we arrived in Ireland, we received an email from Neil Price saying that the volume of our goods was greater than the quoted amount and that the new price was AED20, 000. I argued that they had visited the house and given a quote and that I had not added any other items after the quote. Neil basically said that my goods would not be shipped unless I paid the extra amount. We were already in Ireland, I had no choice, so paid the extra amount.
The container was expected to arrive within 6 weeks. After 6 weeks there was no sign of our container and Neil said there had been a delay. After a few more weeks he said there was a problem with the paperwork. Few months later he said it wasn't our paperwork, there was a problem with the paperwork of the other person sharing our container. Each time I contacted him it took weeks and multiple emails to get a reply. I realise now this was all just delaying tactics.
I had been speaking with Paul Hunter at ReloUK as he was the local contractor doing the local delivery. He was initially vague, but once we realised we were being scammed, I asked Paul if the delays had anything to do with paperwork and he admitted that it did not. I asked if he had been paid and he said that he hadn't been paid and neither had UK customs or the other shippers so our container was on hold pending payment. Paul was extremely sympathetic and advised legal action against Relogulf. Dubai Police were not helpful. Dubai Economic Development Consumer Rights Division were equally useless. I am not sure what happened, but after 5 months of waiting I received an email from Paul saying that the problem was resolved and my goods would be delivered in the next week. If I had to guess I would say that ReloUK were concerned that their company name was being harmed by the criminal activities of ReloGulf and put pressure on them to fix the problem.
Many other families tell almost identical stories to this, we were all scammed to pay extra money and then to wait 5 months (or longer) for delivery. I am just thankful to ReloUK for whatever they did to ensure our container was delivered and that we now have all our furniture and possessions again.
The Dubai Depament of Economic Development are looking at Relogulf as they have a number of outstanding complaints. If you have had problems with Relogulf, perhaps you could contact the DED staff below, and with enough information they may be able to take action against this disgraceful company.

I visited the warehouse last week with a friend who had to fly back to Dubai to check on his stuff that never arrived to the new destination... they are still there, and this miserable Neil character comes up with lame excuses sitting behind his desk fat as a pig in flip flops doing absolutely nothing and the warehouse is staked with people’s boxes & belongings
Already contacted a lawyer and we're filing a suit against them.
I sent several items, 36 boxes plus 2 motorcylces, 1 Honda CRF 450 and 1
CRF 250 both brand new, from Dubai to Italy, it was June 2012 and paid
regularly the shipping plus the insurance for the bikes at Relogulf.
The boxes arrive in Italy in October, 1 missing, the best one full of expensive books... never saw it again!
The motorcycles never arrived, the wanted 1200 UK Sterlings to bring
them to Italy because the clause of the contract was to collect the bike
"at the warehouse"... I knew that and expected to be somwhere in Italy,
no, it is in a never heard rathole in UK.
The bikes have been both stolen there, it is my fault, they said, and
the insurance does not cover that becuuse I did not collect in times the
bikes...
I contacted the insurance company in Hong Kong, the one I tought I had, they never heard my name!
I hired AL BAHAR & ASSOCIATES in Dubai, they cannot do nothing...
after 1 year they haven't done much, or at least if they have done
something, no results.
I lost 12.000 euros thanks to the ReloGulf/ReloUK, I should have known
as there is a book of insults complains about those guys on the web.
sadly I got to know that way too late.
I should know as well that Dubai still keep the heritage of being a
pirate place, especially after dealing with the guys at relogulf... I
wonder why the authorities, if there is any, allow those things to
happen still!
I will built a blog very soon making sure it will pop out on searches
telling all the story, all the documents and all the emails... better
everybody know about how ### can some people be, it wil be very
nice meaningful URL!
Hi
Does any one know where Phil Davis or Price L Neil are please? Should you have any contact details for them would you please email them to; hamillarch@gmail.com. Thank you, Christopher
You probably need a Detective to find these two rats!
I wish I'd have done some research and would see all complains against Relogulf before using their service. However, too late for me to regret, as I cant find all my belongings, and don't know what is right to do in this case.
I had been stored my (1 bed room) household goods with Relogulf in Dubai since 2013, past two years had been paying to the bank account of the company called Marine Registra for the storage services, being introduced by Phillip Davis that Relogulf and Marine Registra are sister companies... However, currently I need to get my belongings back and with the assistance of DED discovering that Relogulf is not existing, one of the managing partner (Nail) run away from UAE, about another one (Phillip) was not provided any information by DED. The only suggestion from DED is to open a case in Dubai courts.
I'm guessing that earlier there could be legal cases opened against this company by other customers. If anyone who is reading my text and who is aware of any outcome after court case could share with me his/her thoughts and experience I'd very much appreciate. I'd never thought that any storage company would not contact its customers to inform them on collecting their goods as the company is shutting down. Well, then I cant understand where my goods gone, what did they do with them? Now who is responsible for this if the company owners cant be found in UAE? Who is to compensate for the lost goods?
Can anyone suggest if there is a meaning in opening legal case in Dubai court? Maybe all victims shall join to open a group case?
