A Platform with Potential for Musicians
As someone deeply involved in the music industry, I understand the challenges artists face in gaining exposure. Baran Opus Music, operating through ReverbNation, offers a platform that can be both beneficial and frustrating. While some users have reported positive experiences with the opportunities network and radio play services, there are concerns about transparency and communication. It's clear that the platform has potential to connect artists with valuable opportunities, but improvements in customer support and billing practices are necessary to enhance the overall experience. As an expert in the field, I recommend approaching Baran Opus Music on ReverbNation with cautious optimism, leveraging its strengths while being mindful of its limitations.
Wonderful site, excellent opportunities
I've used their website for 3 years now and I am very impressed by it. I got many contacts with the music industry, A & R representatives, including licensing opportunities in London and Hollywood. I pay only 10 dollars a month, that's the price of 2 cups of coffee. To be honest, I was very skeptical at first.
Not a Scam what so ever!
If you know how to use the website and have great music and real talent, the sky is the limit with this website, the paid features are more than fair. I have built an opt in email list of over 25 thousand people from reverbnation alone and have met so many amazing connecctions in music, I have honestly lost count.

I love this site. It has alot of great tools for musicians so they can promote their music in a professional manner. If you`re a musician I would gladly recommend you to check out this site and it`s loads of opportunities. I`ve been using some of them myself, f. Ex mobileapps, the promotion sections, fanreach, and I`m very satisfied.
Reverbnation
Its legit... everybody is not meant for music stop complaining maybe your music isnt good have yall thought about that people on reverbnation listen to people who listen to their music spending money blindly is stupid... do your own promotion first then consider paying for a service of their i had my son on itunes spotify and a number of other spots from reverbnation and even sold copies on itunes and made money from streams from the other sites that reverbnation posted them to im satisfied with their service and will continue to use them
THE BEST INDEPENDENT MUSIC SITE ON THE PLANET
I have been on Reverbnation for a while now, I love it! I have been reading these reviews from artists whining about not getting recognition, you have to put a lot more work into your career than just upload your songs and expect someone to come knocking at your door, I don't care how good you are! It has to be your life, you must live and breathe it, if you aren't willing to work for success, you are in the wrong business! Reverbnation has done so much for my career, so stop $#*!ing and whining and pretending like you are entitled and roll your sleeves up and get to work! Have a great day!

Hello, I see that every month 19.95 is taking out of my bank account, I would really appreciate if you guys where to cancel my subscription, so I don't have to pay it every month, is it possible for you guys to cancel it? I probably signed up for it in the past which was a mistake, but being that I didn't really know what it was about, I would like you guys to cancel me from your subscribers list. Thank you

I am making a serious enquiry. For a number of years I subscribed to Reverbnation using credit card ending in xxxx xxxx xxxx 8752. This card expired in 2014, but somehow you have been taking money from my current account. Please can you explain how you managed to access my current debit account when I provided you with no such link.
These subscriptions were FAN REACH PRP and PRESSKITS.
I believed that when my card expired my payments would stop. My real confusion is how REVERBNATION managed to access my personal current account.
I would appreciate your explanation.
My thanks

still billing after cancellation
I tried the Reverbnation services which was the $79.50 Value for the entire year. Well I used the services for a few months and then decided that I would cancel the service which was about 6 months before the new billing cycle would have started to kick in. When I went to settings and clicked unsubscribe, I was prompted with a tab that stated "Your service is cancelled. You will no longer be charged, but you can still used the service up until the next bill date". I figured my part was done and over with only to be charged 6 months later which is $99.50 for the next years services. I had no idea they still had my Debit card on file when I took it off.
reverbnation stole 450 dollars!!
ReverbNation & how to skin small musicians
So let me state some facts here about my terrible experience with ReverbNation. Solely to raise awareness about these activities.
1. From the moment I had become a member, ReverbNation urged me to try to promote my music by using their tools and features. Naturally they only highlight the 3 day free trial and hide the small letters and conditions. A lot of companies do this, but still, there are limits to these shady ways of promoting. Let me explain:
2. At first I was cautious about using my credit card, but what the heck. Whats the worst that can happen? Its a LEGAL platform and surely theyll have the decency to ASK ME if I would like to continue with a paying premium plan and clearly mention how much I would be paying. One would think that, right?
3. Well, they dont! After the 3 day trial (I DID NOT GET ANY NOTIFICATIONS about payments) Reverberation started using my credit card details to take 70 DOLLARS EACH WEEK for something I presumably had signed up for. Fortunately I saw this when I received my bill from my MasterCard. Unfortunately, by then, ReverbNation had already taken 450 DOLLARS (!) of my bank account without my permission or without even giving me the option to continue or cancel, which is usually standard procedure with online payments. Even your laptop asks you if you are sure you want to continue or cancel every time you click on something (I mean, come on!)
4. When I addressed customer support with this misunderstanding, I was expecting some support (hence the name customer support) in this matter and hopefully some refunding, because I didnt even use these so called services I paid for. But no, over 3 times I received a standard reply referring to some small letters in a multi-paged agreement/disclaimer. Sorry, Im lying, I did get a refund offer of 19, 95 eur (of 450 dollars) for some reason.
5. Well there you go people. Thats whats wrong in todays society. Soul -and heartless companies that thrive on the backs of hard working people. Providing a dishonest service that highlights the join us! it's free!, under cover of legal loopholes to ensure they get their money, with or without your permission. I think this is the exact definition of RACKETEERING (which is illegal by the way).
ReverbNation, I hope you enjoy my money the way I would have enjoyed it.
rip off scam predatory practices terminated account
We are appalled at the rampant usury and bogus business practices of ReverbNation.
We disputed a charge the ReverbNation placed on our card erroneously, and were locked out of our account without ANY notice, or inquiry to us. Our band received a responding email message regarding our "suspended" and now "terminated" account, without even having the decency to contact and discuss the matter with us.
We had attempted numerous times since June 1st, 2017 to contact ReverbNation by phone, and talk to a real live human person to find out what was going on. The ReverbNation phone rings and rings, then a recorded message comes on the line saying repeatedly "a representative will be with you shortly". After a few rounds of that, the phone call is terminated on their end. We have tried leaving a series of messages on the "voice mail" to, which we have never been contacted back, from a representative or supervising agent. They have never even attempted to communicate with us regarding our account, or the charge on our credit card that we disputed. What kind of customer service treats a paying customer with such disrespect and disdain? I'll tell you who: CROOKS and thieving slime balls like ReverbNation. We have had our account with ReverbNation for several years and feel supremely disrespected and cheated by the actions they have taken with us. It is incredulous and highly unprofessional. Shame on them!
these scammers stole my money!
I am hiring a lawyer because I have no other idea how to get my money back! Reverbnation is an absolute scam and rip off, do not use them or else you will lose your money. I was signed up for their service and was supposed to be charged every month. I knew about that. But, for some reason they charged me every week. At the beginning I did not notice that and wasn't aware that they were stealing from me, but when I realized that something was wrong and found out what was going on I was shocked! I tried to deal with them about this matter in a peaceful way but it seems that they don't understand when you speak with them nicely. I will do everything to shut down their business and get my money back!

charges!
I was signed up for ReverbNation and used this website in the past.
Five months ago I contacted ReverbNation customer service and said that I would like to cancel my subscription and they said they'll get my account deleted.
One month later I received a bill from these guys! I immediately contacted them and found out that my account was never cancelled and that I remained a member of ReverbNation! I demanded my money back and told them to cancel my membership but they said that it wasn't possible and they were not able to do that! What? I want to delete all my personal information from ReverbNation and I want them to stop stealing my money!
unauthorized charges
I registered on the website www.reverbnation.com several weeks ago. And the agent from this company told me that the month fee would be $20 and the registration also was payable. After that the agent charged my account for completely different price, and I started to call him, but he already was unavailable. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Let’s share views about this website.
copyright infringement
Reverbnation hosts copyright infringers without checking the music for proper licensing and allows them to post stolen music. If you want to protect your music from being stolen and put up for free downloads stay away from Reverbnation. Reverbnation refuses to honor the DMCA Takedown requests. Mark McKinley -AKA Gonzovocalizm -has used many artists music without licensing for free down loads and has broken several federal laws in the course of his actions.

As social networking and blogging have become popular tools for Internet users to voice their opinion and get involved in discussions, online defamation cases have also been on the rise. While there are very few or no specific online defamation acts, libel lawsuits that cite the Communications Decency Act have been successfully been tried in courts around the world. Also, there are rumors that some countries around the world, especially the UK, are set to release specific online defamation laws that deal specifically with these laws.
I found copyrighted material hosted on Reverbnation.com and asked their customer support to get that material removed but they refused. I proved that those materials belong to me and that they have no right to host those materials without my consent but it didn’t do any good. Will probably have to sue them because such behaviour can’t be tolerated.
