ATV Discounters I've been had

Bought a 50 cc scooter in July. Of course Eric Pierce the salesperson stated cash only. Should have known better. Paid for the bike $750 including TTL. Of course, it is now the end of August, the paper plates are expired and I have no title, mso or anything. I went by the showroom because they will never return a call after a sale, Eric offered to make me another paper plate with a new expiration date on it which is probably illegal in itself. I asked him to show me the original title paperwork he said he sent to the state and guess what, they do not have a copy, he said he sent everything to the state. Anyway, I have been had I am afraid, wish I would have checked this before I bought it. I have the scooter but doubt I will ever get a title to regiter it. The BBB and AG do not seem to have much luck so I believe I may take a different angle and file a theft (fraud) incident report with Fort Worth PD against Eric since he is the one who recieved payment for something that hasn't been delivered.. SO like many of you I have a bike with no plates that cannot be ridden on a texas road, shame on me. Maybe the plates are misplaced at the state level, but this is not likely.

Not very likely that everyone that is having this problem getting the papers to get
their tags, that it is all on the state level. This company will not return calls return
e-mails and further they will not fix what you are having a problem with. Do not
under any circumstance buy from ATV Discounters.

ATV Discounters Everything

I actually have a few complaints, first I purchased the 90 cc gocart on April 4th, 2009 ( Paid In Full that day) with the promise it would be delivered within 10 to 14 days from the date of purchase ( April 4 th 2009 )I payed the extra money to get it ready to ride ( Put t0gether) and the delivery fee, I finally had to go pick it up in Dallas TX. on May 20, 2009 and carry it to Ripley Tn myself.The gocart quit running 3 weeks ago, today is July 16, 2009 and still cannot get it running and cannot get any coperation with ATV Discounters so basically I paid $ 1, 100 for something my kids got to ride for a little over a month.A call was made to ATV Discounters and was told that the Gocart had a 90 day warranty which was supposed to have a 1 year warranty, So my opinion of ATV Discounters ( well I better not type thosewords)JUST DONT BUY FROM THEM unless you want yourself and your kids dissapointed and screwed out of your time and money !

I bought a scooter through them off if eBay and they claim it is 49 cc instead of 50cc so it's not covered by eBay guarantee. The speedometer doesn't work and the parts don't fit together because of manufactures defect.

ATV Discounters do not buy from them

i purchased a utv paid for it up front $2100.00 and never received it. ordered it in april and he kept telling me it is coming mid may i called my credit card co. and thank god they disputed the charge for free. today the letter came that i was refunded my money and that is why i am writing. if it sounds to good to be true it probley is . DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Do not buy from this rip-off of a company!. They have no problems making promises, taking your money and then disappearing.

Lets all join Barbara in the fight against ATV Discounters. We have all been took
by this company. Lets all go after them together. There is power in numbers. They want return a call, they want answer an e-mail, they want fix anything you purchased, all they do is keep your money. When are we all going to wise up and stop buying it if it
is not made in America. I even saw on the news the other day where home owners
are having Insurance Companies dropping their insurance because some home
builders are using sheet rock that is from China in homes they are building and it
is causing all kind of problems. How many times over the last few years have we
heard of recalls from many items that were made over seas somewhere. But we just
keep on buying them because they are cheeper but what good is cheeper if you never
get to use what you purchased because it want work or worse if it has all kinds of
health risk involved. If it ain't American do not buy it. If it is made overseas and you
have problems with it and they want do anything about it guess what, you are up
a creek without a paddle unless you get together in large groups to fight against them.

ATV Discounters Non payment of invoice for services rendered

July 17, 2008 we received a call from Charles at ATV Discounters stating that their air conditioning was not working and they were burning up in their offices. They had a very pregnant woman in the office who was extremely uncomfortable. We sent a technician over the same day as their call for help. We found a bad blower wheel and contactor on the unit. We advised the customer of the repairs that needed to be made and they authorized us to take care of them.
Our technician replaced the blower wheel and contactor and made sure both of their units were operating and cooling properly when he left.
We invoiced them promptly and have been waiting for payment ever since. Multiple calls to Charles at the Dallas store promised he would follow up with their accounting department and find out why we hadn't been paid. He would never call us back or let us know what was going on. After several months of the run around we searched on the internet and found their home office information in Ft. Worth, TExas.
October 14th, 2008 we called to advise them of the situation. They stated they were not aware of the invoices as the Dallas store never sent anything over or called them about this. They asked us to fax the invoices over, which we did immediately, and they would get them paid right away.
It is now November 20th and despite leaving voice mail messages and speaking with their accounts payable department we are still getting the run around. They are non responsive and unprofessional in my opinion.

ATV Discounters no parts, company bad

Purchased scooter 4 months ago won't charge, damaged in freight, no parts to fix it and no restitution for damage e mails unanswered and phones no longer used.Still trying to get a refund or parts nobody will help. this is a company to stay away from at all cost... to you not them...

ATV D is a pure rip-off.. They got me for a $900 yard decoration. Watch the silver tounge they have.

i ordered a sl150-13 moped an i havnt had it a week an its already not running it seems that the engine has locked up wtf i dont really know whats wrong this company has some screws loose

I came into this store about 2 months ago. Literally stayed there for 2 hours trying to get someone to help me. Bad feeling about this place...line of customer waiting in line to complain...all while Mr. joe blow was raking in the sales on the internet, and wouldn't pull away from it to take care of folks in front of him. Poor folks...After reading above...will not go back! Thanks for posting above!

You're so right! This place is the pitts...DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ATVDISCOUNTER.COM! They shipped us a damaged unit with several missing parts, no title, no manual, etc. You can't believe how bad this company is. It's taken them a month to answer our e-mails (because they don't answer the phone), and now they're telling us that they'll sell us the missing parts for 50% off the retail price! Are you kidding me?! We already paid a lot of money for a Kazuma Mammoth and now they want us to pay for the parts that were supposed to be on the unit in the first place! Whatever you do, don't buy anything from these people!

ATV Discounters Lack of help or parts non responsive

Can't get parts for a brand new scooter had it for 4 months and still can't use it. Won't charge since recieved. Damaged in freight when delivered and no retitution or repairs either. It's in parts and pieces at another shop and Sunl can't seem to get a magneto that fits it.ATV discounters won't talk to me and won't refund for the piece of crap they sold. They are not responding to any of my requests and I suggest anyone thinking of dealing with them find another company and product not Sunl.

I guess I must have been the last person to have purchased a Roketa moped scooter from ATV Discounters and am pleased with my purchase. The only problem I encountered was the worthless Chinese battery that came with it which I replaced. After that it starts every time. My suggestion is for those just looking at whatever they purchased because it wont run is for them to bite the bullet and pay a shop to fix it. The repair needed may be surprisingly cheap.

Lets all join the list and go after them (ATV Discounters) no matter how long it takes. I
have been trying to get something done about a SUNL Scooter that has not run since
I purchased it over two years ago and they do not care. I am sick and tired of looking
at a scooter setting in my garage taking up space when I can't ride it because it will
not run and has not since I got it. I have also had the same problem with trying to
get it registered. Two years and it is not registered yet. Anyone that is reading this
do not under any circumstance buy anything from ATV Discounters.

They took my money and never sent me the atv i ordered..RIP OFF company..If anyone has info to help me get money back let me know.They knew my grandson saved his money to buy this ATV but they did not care...My foolish mistake ordering on line from them..

Same here. they are a bunch of crooks and liers. Try stopping the payment on your credit card and filing complaint with the TX Better Business Bureu. maybe if they get enough complaints, things change.

ATV Discounters Bad service

I ordered 2 110 cc atv's for my children. Pink camo and yellow camo were the colors I ordered. They asked for alternate colors and I chose yellow and blue. These machines come with matching youth sized helmets. Upon receiving the atv's via Estes truck freight we realized that we had in fact received a blue one and a red one. My son fell in love with the red one so no harm there. The problem is they shipped the pink camo helmet w/ the blue atv. Upon seeing how cool the pink camo was I became a tad irritated and my daughter wanted the pink camo atv. We called atv discounter to tell them of the problem and they pretty much told us "oh well, you chose alternate colors". They want us to pay for shipping to send the pink helmet back so they can send us the blue one. Yeah right! I am writing this to inform parents that if you order from this company you will probably not get the color you choose so don't get your kids hopes up. The freight company they use do not have lift ramps on the back of the trucks so unless you have a shipping dock on your garage, good luck. The boxes the atv's come in are over 200 lbs so be sure you have help when the truck shows up. My issue could have been easily solved. They should pay to ship the blue one back and back order a pink one for me. Simple. I have a feeling the shipping and receiving dept. is incompetent.

After picking up my shabbily assembled gokart i tried to call marcus about why the battery charger caught fire when i plugged it in. The first time he returned my call, but acted totally ignorant of the working of the products he sells. He said he would transfer my call to " andy ". I got andy's voice mail, and thats as far as i got. He never contacted me. I tried a number of times to call marcus and get him to get andy to call me but no luck. I now have questions that i can't even get answered by the maker of the kart.

Don't get screwed !... Don't do business with atvdiscounters either on line or at their warehouse outlets in dallas and fort worth... Also steer clear of products distributed by the ''' kandi'' company in irving texas. The owners manual is so vague you have to guess at most of it, and there is no customer service!

I too have fallen victim to this company that is nothing but a bunch of scam artists. My nightmare began On 8-4-08 whenI ordered an atv from them and was told I would recieve a confirmation email within 24hours. The email would have my order number which would connect me to a checkout site where I could get my invoice. Within 7 to 10 days a tracking number would be posted and I could track the delivery.
I did get an order number but I was unable to access the website. I sent an email and the next day recieved a generic email back saying that shipping takes 7 to 10 days, they never answered my question. The next day still with no success, I sent another email and recieved one back from customer service sayin again it it takes 7 to 10 days and they are aware of the problem with the website.
Another week goes by with still no tracking number. I call and get the salesman who sold me th unit and was now told it takes 10 to 14 days. When I confronted regarding him saying 7 to 10 he just denied it. I informed him of the email I recieved saying 7 to 10 I heard nothing but crickets chirping on the other end. I was told to "hang in there you're close".
The following week I call again and was told a tracking number was assigned on 8-18 and it should be loaded to the website by the 21st. That day ( still no number) I send another email and in return get a totally different number than the first and a message saying my atv was shipped to a different state.
Again I call this time yelling, screaming and threatening to stop payment. I asked to speak with a manager and was denied the opportunity after being lied to about where he/she was. Only then was I able to get someone's attention. I recieved a call back from someone claiming to be the customer service manager who assured me she would have it rectified by the end of the week.
As of today 8-28-08 I still have no atv and they have no idea where it is. In there defense they did send me a free helmet for my trouble Whoopee! The only problem is I have no atv so the helmet is worthless.
Please, Please do not do business with this company. They are a bunch of liars and scam artists. Iv'e never seen anything like it in my life.

If you need parts for your ATV call Barco at [protected] ask for Will. They took over the parts department when ATV discounters went out of business. Thank God!

Well the only good thing is now they are out of business. Gee I wonder why?
I bought a 150cc Eagle XY-150T scooter from them. First there was more to put together than what they told me. Fenders, speedometer, front tire and the disk brakes, battery, mirrors, the cover of the dash and the front "hood" that contained the headlights. My seat was torn, which they "DID" replace I will grant them that. The bike was pretty sharp looking (blue/black) but come August the bike needed serviced which included, ignition coil, Valves had to be redone and the rear ball bearings were bad. The bike was only 5 months old. I am about to begin bike season #2. It starts fine but stalls instantly when you turn the throttle. So I am buying another. Do your research people before you buy!

Lets just all get together an go after this company. We need to picket their store carrying
signs or what ever we need to do to warn not just who reads these blogs but everyone
out there that is considering buy a scooter or atv to please do not set foot in ATV Discounter to buy anything unless they want to make a huge donation to this
company because they sure will not get anything for what they spent. Lets not stop
until we get our money back ever how long it takes. Lets at least be a thorn in there
side when it come to them selling something to anyone else. We need to warn all the
people we can about this company. Send out e-mails to everyone on your e-mail list
warning them about this company and ask them to send it to everyone they know
and keep doing this until it travels all over the internet time and time again. I want
to be a thorn in their side and hurt their sales as much as I can even if I never get a
dime back from them. We need to get together and plan on picketing their store even
if we have to have a few at a time do it so we can have someone picketing every week
end or as much as we can. They can't do anything about it as long as we tell the
truth. They are trash and we can prove it.

ATV Discounters is a RIPOFF. I purchased one of those cheap Chinese scooters from them last July. It did not run worth a crap until I tuned it myself around January of this year. It quit running aroun the middle of April. Doug said that it was most likely the belt. I ordered another belt from them about the first of July and here it is August and still no belt. I called all over southern California trying to find someone who services these things and nothing. No shops or dealers in the area who can service these things because they can't get the parts. So... Now I'm just like the other guy "Swampwood" I have a $900 yard decoration. Oh yeah...I alomost forgot... My dad fell off of the thing and dislocated his shoulder real bad because it never would throttle right. It had no pickup until I adjusted the carburator. Then it picked up a little and got almost to top speed like it was supposed to. It was too late then. My dad was already in the hospital and it took about 3 and a 1/2 months for him to get anywhere near back to normal. I'm so pissed off behind this ripoff.

I'm going to join the Class Action Suit,
