Terrible Service
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered an atv for my son's birthday from this company before reading any reviews on them. Had I saw this website before, I would not have ordered. I placed my order on Nov. 8th thinking a month was plenty of time for them to get the atv shipped to me for my son's birthday. They called me that afternoon to get my check by phone payment (that should have been red flag #1). After about 2 weeks with no further emails or tracking info, I sent them a few emails. I did not receive a reply to any of those. So I started calling, always got voicemails, left messages, never had a phone call returned. Of course they already had my money so what did they care. I finally got ahold of someone 3 weeks into the ordeal. He said my order was being shipped out the next day and he would email tracking info. I explained this was for my son't birthday and that I really needed it here by Dec. 2nd. He assured me it was going out the next day. Well of course that didn't happen. So I called back next day and was told the same thing. Once again, no tracking info was emailed. So I got online & started finding all the reviews of this company. My heart sunk! I was out $800 and was left with no present for my son. So my boyfriend called & spoke with a man from there. He gave every excuse in the book as to why it hadnt gone out, said it was going out today, same old story. My boyfriend explained that he was coming to Texas for business the following week, and that if we didn't have the atv in our hands, he was coming to his address with the police. He explained to him that we knew what kind of scam he was running since we saw all these postings and we weren't going to lay down & be one of his victims. In the meantime, I was at the bank cancelling out my checking account so he couldn't have any access to my money should he decide to gte mad over the situation. Well, after a few choice words by both my boyfriend and the Olson guy and him hanging up on my boyfriend, that night we received an email with a tracking number. So apparently you have to hassle & threaten the man to get him to come through. It still took 3 days before the package even shipped after we received thetracking number. Luckily I received the atv a few days before the birthday party. We were skeptical until we got it put together and started up since others have said how they received wrong models, broken pieces and vehicles that just don't work. Luckily ours works fine. Never again will I buy from this company though. And I will always check for complaints before making a large purchase like that again. This was a completely stressful & unnerving situation I hope no one else has to go through. These people should be shut down in my opinion!

FRAUD
Please please please do not attempt to contact or purchase from these crooks. I ordered my son's atv 12/2/10 and thank god I called to check on my order on 12/9/10. Once no one answered the phone and the answering machine couldn't take any more messages--my curiosity was aroused. Why would this ATV dealer not be answering the phone with just 16 days left until Christmas? Upon looking them up on the BBB website I learned not only do they have an "F" rating, but the Texas Attorney General froze their assets as of 12/6/10. Extremely disheartening to learn this after I had been thru so much to get my son one of these atv's for Christmas this year. I have since re-ordered my atv from superiorpowersports.com. So far they seem to be legit and have a "B" rating with the BBB. They also actually stock their merchandise, unlike olson and many others who merely are drop ship distributors. I have called and emailed olson for 5 days now with no one answering or responding. Please learn from my mistake--check out anyone you're thinking of buying from at www.bbb.org
Brandon Olson is a flat out crook. Anyone who will screw up my 4yr old son's Christmas with the intent of not shipping me anything is a piece of s hit.

Sweet Dirt Bike
I love these guys. My parents first bought from them 8 years ago. They buught me a Little 125cc dirt bike. I was 13. Now im 21 and im really into motocross, but not on a Suzuki budget. I got a 250cc Pro quality Dirt bike from them, and I can Hang with my rich buddies on the track. Usually I blow them away. (I put on an aftermarket sprocket and exhaust for about $100 more)

Olson is a BAD GUY and appears to like it. He ripped me off just like the others he rips off. We have been paying bi-weekly payments to this thief since November and now when it comes time to ship he is NOWHERE TO BE FOUND! No replies to email. No return phone calls. Many attempts. Nothing.
$690 down the drain.

I completely agree, and wonder if there is anything that we can do to get them shut down. I ordered my daughter's ATV by money order and tracked it to make sure that they received it, which they did on 9/1/10, I also paid extra for rush delivery and it is still not here. Before I placed the order Luis called me at least 6 times and emailed me 3 times to check in and make sure that I was going to order from them, great costumer service, and now after I placed the order... NOTHING! My husband and I have left them at least a dozen messages and emailed them numerous times, including their "order tracking" email... NOTHING! I am getting ready to contact a lawyer and the BBB and the local Texas law enforcement, any ideas from anyone that has actually received their order, on the best way to go about it?!
was wondering if anyone has got there order yet because im going through the same deal now ordered my atv aug 2nd here it is sept 4th and no atv they said it was shipped and that they were waiting for there tracking dept to contact them so they could tell us were it is emailed them numerous times called numerous times nothing back from them yet i even tried to call and act like i wanted to buy another one just so they would call me
Wired funds of $4k to Olson on 6/3/10...received email from them that they received funds in their bank (Chase Bank)on 6/4/10 and that UTV would be shipped in a few days. It is now 7/20/10...have sent numerous emails to two different addresses for this business, NO REPLY...have left numerous messages on two different phone numbers for Olson...NO REPLY. Contacted Chase Bank where they have their accounts and was told their accounts are FROZEN and they have an investigator working this at Chase Bank. Contacted my bank and filed a $25 fee to have the wire refunded. Chase Bank contacted Olson and Olson refused to refund monies because they say the utility vehicle was shipped. We have not been contacted by email, mail, nor phone that the vehicle was shipped nor have we been contacted by a carrier to deliver the vehicle. Can't reach Olson by phone or email to get shipping info...we know the vehicle has not been shipped and they are doing to us what they have done to other customers. I have contacted the Attorney General of Texas and have been assigned a case number. I have also contacted the police department of New Braunfels and they have an investigator assigned to the Olson account. I also contacted the BBB and filed a complaint against Olson. Please, please, please don't let this business fraud another customer. I just wish we had researched this business more carefully before we wired out money. It's a shame they are allowed to continue to scam innocent people and despict the fact everyone is filing papers like crazy, their websites are still up and running and people are still falling for this scam. This is not justice at work!
Ordered this ATV From Olson Powersports on November 2009 and never got it until 7 months later.This was to be a X-mas gift for a 8year old boy, he even saved his $ to buy half of it.I called and called emailed and emailed the olsonPowersports Company they returned my call once.When I first put the order in for the ATV they told me the order would take 2-12 business days that they had it there and would be glad to sell it and ship it.So 7 months later after millions of calls and emails they finally got back to me the only reason they got back to me was because I was in the process of getting a layer and they figured woah--- better contact her.They told mer they were shipping the ATV out and I would be getting a phone call that mornig to be told what time the delivery was coming but it would definately be to my home that day so I had 2 take work off to ge tthe ATV from the trucking company, No one ever called nor showe dup, I called them back left mesgs upon mesgs, no response til 3 days later, then they tell me the bike was being shipped in 2 weeks so I finally got the ATV and when they called the ATV was to be delivered to my home, well the day of delivery I had to drive and meet the truck and get the package because they said the truck could not make it to my home, I ge tthe order and they are trying to give me broken pallets that Olson Powersports told them to give me. The trucking company was very nice they were no part of Olson Powersports they were Landair Express and they were very very nice.The driver was so shocked when I told him it had taken 7 months to get this order.Now I got the ATV, the family puts it all together the 8 year old boy rides it hadn't even rode it 2 miles and boom the ATV breaks down the Front Drive Sprocket broke and another part.So now its still broke down waiting for a part we ordered but not from Olson P.Sports.
My comment is to anyone who wants to order from Olson Powersports please have a second look at a different company, this company was out of Texas.I will NEVER buy anything from this company ever again, and I will be sure and am sure to spread the word on to every site I see about ATVs Olson P.Sports you guys ruined it yourself, u guys are a bunch of liars, money gimmick people, u tell ur customers lies lies lies so tey will order from you.Would u want to be treated that way?
Rip off
Ordered a 150cc ATV from Matthew at Olson Powersports via telephone. Paid check by phone since they did not accept credit cards (should have been a red flag right there). Matthew told me I would receive an e-mail with tracking info. within a few days and ATV would be received by 12/22/09. Never received that e-mail or the merchandise. Called many, many times - they don't answer the phones now. E-mailed them several times - no response. Filing complaints with anyone that will let me post or will listen. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM - THEY ARE A SCAM!

ATV purchase for Christmas
I sent a money order for $699.00 for a 125cc ATV for my son for this Christmas and my money order reached there on December 10 and I have yet to receive an e-mail confirmation of shipment. The first time I called on Monday, December 14 I spoke with Matt and asked him about my order and if it was going to reach us by Christmas and he stated it should be delivered by this Friday, December 18. Since this time I still have not received an e-mail confirmation of shipment and I have called numerous times daily since Monday, December 14 and keep getting a voice recording, leave a message, and never get a return call or e-mail. I am livid to say the least and I am going to have a broken hearted 6 year old son on Christmas morning. I do have the money order receipt as well as certified mail receipt and I will get a working 4-wheeler or my money back.

i ordered two avt''s for my 5 year old and 7 year old on November 27, 2010. My check cleared on December 1, 2010. I called on the 3rd and they told me that my atv's will be at my house in 5-7 days and that the company delivering then would call me. I attempted to call a few times and sent numerous emails on where my atvs are. Still awaiting response. I read all these complaints, so I went through another online company that guarrenteed the atv's by christmas, so my girls have an atv by christmas. Hopefully i will get my money back or the atv's and I will sell them. If not, I will take a trip to Texas to deal with Brian!
i ordered a motor cycle for my son on nov 30 paid by check it is now the dec 7 and still no answer no tracking info nothing i am ready to take the next plane to texas and go get my money if this man doesnt give me the motorcycl i will be there that s alot of money 640.00 ... my son will be dissapointed on christmas
I AGREE, THIS COMPANY OLSON POWERSPORTS AND FAMILY EXCHANGE ALL IN 1 LOCATION ARE BAD BUSINESS. DONT DEAL WITH THEM CAUSE THEY WILL GET YOU IN SHIPPING YOUR UNIT PLUS DONT HONOR THIER WARRANTY ON THE UNITS. I agree they are a rip-off. I sent an order and a check for a 110cc ATV, got the same response from Matt and now no one will answer the telephone nor will they respond to an E-mail.
I noticed on their website that they are licensed by the Texas Department of Transportation. I called the Texas DOT and found out that they are in fact licensed under the name The Family Exchange. I am filing a complaint with the Texas DOT against The Family Exchange/Olson Powersports. I may not get my money back, but maybe I can get their license taken away so that no one else gets hosed by these crooks.
I have been dealing with very much the same problem except that I paid with a check (info given over the phone) on Dec. 4th. The check cleared our bank on the 9th and so far, no e-mail confirmation of tracking etc. and no 4-wheeler. No return phone calls or e-mails and/or voice mail box is Full. I was informed that I would have shipment to my home by Dec. 18th. We reside in MI and I was told that it would be coming to us from Indiana so, shipping would be quick. Plain and simple... I am going to have a disappointed 8 y/o son on Christmas morning and/or do more shopping in additin to the money we spent on this 4 wheeler that is yet to be received. I
want my money back and want to be done dealing with this guy and his disreputable business. I''m planning on calling the local police dept there today as the way I see it, he stole our money!
Bad service
They sell these Chinese Made ATV's and offer no service centers to take care of the warranty. They expect you the owner of the ATV to figure out what is wrong. if you have a problem with the ATV and send in the part and they will replace it. That is a joke. You will wear yourseft down trying to get something done. They have no repair centers to take care of the warranty problems. If you want a refund they want to offer you a 25% restocking charge and you pay all the freight. Once they receive the ATV they will tell you it is in bad shape and take more off the refund price. They will turn around and fix and sell the ATV and make another profit. I call this fraud. The FTC should look into this company and the manufacture from China. This is wrong and they need to be stopped from selling these Chinese ATV without a place to take them and get them repaired. They never answer their phone or email. I think the FBI should look into this practice. I filed a complaint with the Oklahoma Consumer Protection and the Texas Consumer Protection. I have talked to my attorney and he is looking into going after the Dealer and the Manufacture. I plan on keeping up the heat until I get mey full refund what I paid or get damages from the Dealer for what they have put us through. Look at [redacted]s and you will find many complaints filed againist Olson Powersports.

Robbed by Texas an olsen powerpowersports aka the family exchange. bought two 4-wheelers on line $1365 dollars. Texas seized his account of $16, 000 dollars and i receiving from settlement $250 dollars. I say what a waist of time you should of kept my money and paid for his jail sentence. he is still profiting from his online business do not buy anything from this thief .you Will receive nothing but heart ache
I too ordered an ATV for my sons birthday back on August 10th and have had the same exact experience with this company. Will not return a call. The only thing I get is an email back giving me a different time of arival, which I will never belive untill I see it. It is now the end of Oct. and still no ATV. My aunt lives in New Braunfels Tx. where this place is, and she has been by a number of times to talk to them for me, but nobody is ever there. From what I have read about all the complaints, I would definately not recomend buying from this company. I just wish I would have checked them out sooner.
I have ordered a scooter from them on Sept 2. 2010. and their "tracking department" said I will receive it no later than September 30. On September 30 I called them and emailed them, and as usual was unable to get in touch with anybody who works there. These guys introduced themselves as "Brandon" and "Louis". I am surprised to see some of you guys actually received your order, because this has all the makings of a scam, even the over-the-phone check was cashed in a name of some company "Family Exchange", not Olsen Powers sports. I have contacted the police in Texas and was told that they are under investigation. Don't buy from them- in fact from what I understand now buying a scooter on the internet, not in person is a shortest way to get yourself scammed out of whatever money you are paying for it. If I had to do it over again I would go to a dealership.
At last! I recieved my kids 4-wheeler...but I had to file a complaint with the attorney general. I ordered it on april 23, 2010, I recieved it June 15, 2010. I never recieved a call-back or an e-mail from this company even after leaving numerous messages and e-mails. I couldn't reccomend buying from here just for the simple fact that they will not communicate with you. Not a pleasant experience at all. Shop elsewhere.
Here is a live, up-to-date experiment on Big Time Power Sports: I ordered an ATA-135D 4-wheeler on friday for my daughter on April 23rd, 2010. She is driving me crazy, asking me when it is coming. I paid by check over the phone in the amount of $900.00. This is a lot of money to me because I got hurt at work & am on disability. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and did not check for complaints against this company until today and so far what I have found has concerned me. I understand that things happen & will give everybody a chance. When I first called to place the order, the phone was answered immediately. On monday, I had some questions that I forgot to ask, so I called back on monday. No answer. The check has been cashed. I called again today(tuesday 4-27-10). No answer. I left a message for him to please call me back within 24 hours. I will post & let all of you know how this transaction plays out.

I ordered a pit bike in November 2009. Have made all 8 payments as of March 1st, totaling $690. Now there is NO ANSWER, NO REPLY, NO NOTHING. I am prepared to take legal action and prefer to do that together with others.

I also purchased an ATV from Olson Powersports with a promise of delivery which has not happened. The will not return phone calls or email inquires about the status of the order.
We too have been taken by Olsen. They have cashed the check not taking credit cards so we have no recourse. They promised we would have the unit by Christmas assuring my husband several times you will have it several days before Christmas, no unit, no return call, no return e-mail. We are also on board for a full blown investigation, charges and law suit. This man has taken a check and this has crossed state lines. This may very well be federal. We are awaiting information from attorneys. If we do not receive a refund within 10 days we will proceed.
