Room issue/ payment
Hi I checked into the Caesars palace to celebrate my wedding anniversary on 20th July 2023. On arrival to my room the room was smelling of marijuana and cigarettes, the toilet had not been flushed and there was a smell from the sewerage in the toilet and shower… The cabinet doors in the room were all marked and the carpet was dirty who hair evident in it. First off the Concierge service was not helpful at all after carrying our luggage to the bellboy stand we stood and waited at least 5-7 minutes many bellboys walked by and a receptionist was at desk none offered services even after we asked! We stood there and eventually decided to carry it ourselves. Next we arrive to registration in which a customer service was rude after her line opened up and as I approached I greeted her and she simply said Wait. After checking in. We went to our room and expected grandeur, I hurried to shower in Octavius room 6280 and afterwards turned on lights I saw clumps of brunette hair around shower! I was beyond disgusted to see this. Considering this was my first time staying at Caesars Palace a major disappointed also cause for concern due to Covid19.

Unethical behavior
I have always wanted to stay at Ceaser's. I am a producer/hostess of two up and coming talk shows. I wanted to do a show there in Atlantic City and in Vegas. I was very disappointed and will probably never stay again.
It started with the first room my view was of a roof. I asked for a beach view and upgraded to one. When I got to the room, it was a city view. I called again to the rude manager and was told in a condescending manner, that the did not ask for an ocean view. My driver was there and can confirm this. I was tired so although I didn't like the room, I staid anyway. also because they would not give me a refund.
I am well traveled and have staid at really nice hotels and have been spoken to with respect. It saddens me that my white friends tell of a totally different experience. My much needed get away left me very disappointed and feeling more stress and unrest! I was booking a trip to Las Vegas and had planned to stay there but I have since decided not to.
I am 63 years old and have been a victim of racism many times before. This feels like that. I guess they assumed I didn't deserve the best! But I do!
