Rip Off
I sent Cash For Electronic Scrap USA well over 25 lbs of motherboards, telecomm boards, etc. and all I got was a check for a little over $5. Even after factoring in prepaid shipping, I still should have received more.
I made a YouTube video concerning my grievances and after receiving a few hundred views, C.F.E.S.USA forced YouTube to remove my video.
AVOID THESE CON ARTISTS AT ALL COST!
Suspicious company with busy agents
I wanted to sell my computer to the company Cash For Electronic Scrap USA, but after several days I changed my mind, because the agent behaved really strange. I contacted them and asked to provide info about them, but all agents were suddenly busy. I tried later and asked how and when they would pick up the computer, but the agents again refused to speak...

while it is frustrating to go through, if i recall they [electronic recycling centers that extract useful parts from scraps like metals and such] base the monetary value of what is sent in and what can be salvaged. So for example if you send in $500 worth of stuff and they find some is not salvageable they deduct that from the value. so lets say in this scenario they find that 25% is not salvageable so you will get only $375 for that $500 worth of stuff.
though this is for the whole field not specifically CFES. they would need to provide their formula for me to accurately say if it is a scam or not.
ALSO don't forget we are currently in a pandemic [when this went up the start of it] and all companies are working skeleton crews. slow responses are expected from any company and they might make a mistake which happens.
Same happened to me, sent them two boxes in October 2021. No payments at all, no answer to any emails I sent them.
Hello, well I wish I hd seen the comments on this place before I sent in 808 lbs! they picked it up on feb 20 2018 and as of yet I have not recieved anything. I have constantly sent Emails left way to many messages and not a word. I've asked everybody that I have talked to for an update and I get thesame responsefrom them all, " well we are a little behind so it is going to take alittle bit longer than normal, and i will go out bsck and see what the hold upis and try to get your order pushed to the front so I'llget back with you in a day or two" and NOTHING. I hvent got not one reply from them regarding my material. The material I sent was some of the sweetest assortment of boards, all came out of gaming, slots. Everything was mid grade and up. no trash, tele com boards mothers, back planes servers, gfc's up the [censored], over 26 lbsof gold ram, i960 cpu's 18lbs control boards the list gors on, So when I call them and actually talk to someone they say they have it but thats all . I've never been able to track it from day one which should have been a red flag, but i figured that they have been in buisness alot of years so thought i could trust them. we sat ( me and two others) for four hours unpacking brand new boards in anti static bags to remove batteries to send out thats the kind of stuff we sent, only to get shafted like this, makes a person want to go postal, we spent alot of energy to get that load together, and was really counting on that cash, its really sucks [censored] that they are pulling this kind of punk move on decent hard working people. well all that can be said is karma will get em for sure, and what is stupid on their part is that when we first got in touch with them I sent pics of the four different storage sheds we have which wuyld have gone to them if they had'nt got greedy! that 808 lbs is nothing compared to what else we have ready to go! so if you are looking for a plAce to get rid of your stuff STAY AWAY FROM CFES. boardsort is a place that you get paid, no hassels, just that you have to pay shipping, thats the only con about them. they tell you up front what you are getting and thats what you get, no scams with them, but as far as CFES IS CONCERNED they are thieves plain and simple, so dont frustrate your self with them, and like i said KARMA WILL COME THEIR WAY FOR SURE it always does.
Same here happen to me with 550 pounds ONE CHECK $81.00 this company is ripping everyone off.
