Honda Marine stator
Shipped the first $300 stator in a box with no packing material. Flopped around inside until I received it broken. Called for a replacement took two weeks to ship out the new one. Got tracking information processed to it then it sat on the dock for another week. Apparently they forgot to give it to the ups guy. Took a month to get the part. What a joke, don't buy from these guys, they have really bad organization. Must be a cluster up their. Wonder if the owner knows his employees are this incompetent.
Parts Damaged from flimsy packaging, Cycle Parts Nation won't respond.
I ordered three carb boot gaskets for a Ski Doo snowmobile over the internet from Cycle Parts Nations in Kalamazoo. Cycle Parts Nation sent them in a soft sided bag. The gaskets are 1mm thick stiff cardboard. If bent they will crack rendering them useless. They were all broken when I received them. There was nothing on the packaging indicating "Do Not Bend", there was no stiff cardboard or anything to protect the gaskets. The least Cycle Parts Nation could have done is put them in a small box which would have ensured they arrived safe. These are not large gaskets, shipping costs would not have increased by using a box. Common sense should have told them the parts would never have a chance of arriving undamaged packaged this way. I have tried to phone and email them several times. I get a recorded message to leave a voice mail which I have several times and they don't respond. Same thing with email, no response. From the other guy above who has a similar complaint it looks like this is common practice for Cycle Parts Nation. Don't deal with these jerks, they will rip you off.
missing parts in shipment
Made an Internet order from Cycle Parts Nation, and received my shipment 5 days later with parts missing. I called and talked to them and they indicated they tried to contact me, and couldn't get me, so shipped the order and charged me for the whole order anyway, Duh. The shipping was real high, something like 22 bucks for what is .4 lbs, via UPS. They are crediting me for the part they didn't ship which was 65 bucks, and 8 bucks in shipping. BUT the 8 dollar part still cost me something like 14 bucks to send. I talked to these people on the phone and they are either really crooked, or completly stupid. Two phone numbers were provided, and they only tried one. The same e-mail that they send order confirmation with was never used to contact me that there was an issue. Yet, the credit for the missing part did trigger an e-mail that I'm getting some kind of refund. Steer clear of these guys, there are other resources that are credible.
I would go anywhere BUT cyclepartsnation.com for my parts. Their customer "service" is a joke!
missing parts high shipping
I ordered several Kawasaki parts via the internet I was thinking they would be Kawasaki parts but look to be off the shelf parts. They could not fill the intire order and left one gasket out of the order. Charged me 19.68 for shipping the parts that weighed less then the 5X5 box they were in UPS. Tryed to call got a recorder tryed email so far nothing.
