FRAUD, CREDIT CARD FRAUD, THEFT
Hi, First time on this Board. But im going to get right down to the point, DIRECT SHOPPING NETWORK or should I say "ARTS GARABEDIAN's DSN." is a Fraud!Beware, do not associate with them for any reason. They will sell you some awsome pieces but after they charge your c.c. at the same exact moment you say sold, kiss your money goodbye! I have been dealing...

I have purchased several rings, pendants and earrings, off this TV station many of which were supposed to be one of a kind items and with the understanding the there was a 30 day satisfaction, money back guarantee if you did not like the item. On more than one occasion, I would purchase a "One of a Kind ring" only to see it offered again later the same...

I bought 2 loose diamonds, that according to the DSN rep, were .25 carats and G-H color. Guess what ! Took them to one of the best jewelers in town. Carat weight on one was .20 and the other .21 and color? a whopping O-P color. The appraiser told me that these were poor quality stones. Total value for both stones? $450. When I called DSN, rep's rude...
Read full review of Direct Shopping Networknever received product, on hold 4/ever
Ordered 4 items, never received. Was told by rep that back up or problems in warehouse. REALLY, I mean REALLY.
Asked for refund, , , never received.
On hold 4/EVER as you will find with customer service if you dare to to try to talk to customer service about your order...
My opinion, , , , ? do they really sell the items or just take peoples money and work off that until next customer money, then they can afford for all the charge backs. Working off others money and not giving product? does that remind anyone of something else?
Don't pay with anything else than CC so you can get instant satisfaction...

did not receive items (3)
I placed 3 orders on Sept 8, 2011. As I today (Nov 12, 2011) they have not arrived. I have repeatedly called the customer service number, yet only get placed directly on hold. I have yet to speak to a live person. I have sent 2 emails this month with no response. I called the order line today... only to be told "good luck next time you call them" and they hung up on me. On Oct 24 2011 DSN is gone from Directv so perhaps they are going out of business. I have nearly $2000 out of pocket and no merchandise. I will send a certified letter and will contact the credit card company to see about a refund. DO NOT DO Business with DSN! This is theft!

did not receive merchanise
I have in the past purchased several items of jewelry and have received them. In May, I purchased at a DSN auction an Alexandrite ring for over 700.00. I have yet to recieve the item. I have tried to call, in August I was told they were behind and I would receive my item in a few weeks. It is now November and I have tried contacting them but all I get is a hold on the phone for 30 minutes at a stretch when i finally give up. I have called at least 6 times now and nothing. I emailed them and no response. They of course charged my credit card as soon as they took the order, but nothing now. I am going to contact my bank and see if I can get anything done there with the fraud department. Good luck to me.
I still haven't received my order from May 2011. I get no response from them at all, just on hold with music in the background forever. They shouldn't be allowed on TV. I have direct TV and they are no longe ron Direct TV, but I don't know if they are on other networks.
I ordered a ring on 7/1/11 and never received. I did the whole customer service hours of waiting on hold only to get the same runaround every time. Finally I contacted my credit card company and they gave me a temporary credit ($918) and did an inquiry to DSN. Of course, DSN would not respond to them either so I automatically won my dispute with the Credit Card company. Apparently if the merchant doesn't respond to their requests then you automatically win the dispute so I have not been given permanent credit back to my account. I am very pleased with my credit card company but I can't believe the way DSN thinks they can keep your money and give you nothing. They really need to be put out of business.
I'm still trying to get my issues resolved and no such luck. This company owes me over eleven- hundred dollars and no one will do anything to help me. I have sent several registered letters to Art & Blue and nothing is happening. Contacted the Attorney General of California and its as big of a black hole as DSN. Its now been almost six months of banging my head and spending useless hours on hold to get the same bs and no results. Never do business with this company!
refund never issued and will never be
Direct Shopping Network withdrew from my account $103.95 for 9 pieces of diamond 0.03 CT on June 1. I called after 4 weeks and after being on hold for over 2 hours the customer service rep. answered in a very rude way saying that they are trying to collect the 9 pieces because the quantity is not available, I told them to cancel the order and refund the money to my account and of course after waiting long enough for the refund I called again on July 20 to see why I wasn't refunded yet, I spoke with Jose and he told me that there is not any notice in the system regarding a refund and they will try to send the order soon, I said to him I cancelled the order and I want my account to be refunded, He promised me that he will do that. I called again on Jul 27 I spoke with Ashley she introduced her self as a manager and as usual there was no notes in the system regarding a refund and she assured me that she will issue the refund, I told her that I will give her a week to do so if I still didn't get the refund I'll take a legal action. I went to a lawyer on Aug 4 he asked me to give Direct Shopping Network a chance until Aug 20 if I'm not refunded by then I send them a certified letter asking for the refund of the total amount plus the interest based on my state and after that I'll go back to his office and bring in a copy of the letter with the registered certified receipt from the post office proofing that they received the letter and signed for it so we can start pursuing the case.THE INVITATION IS OPEN FOR ANYONE WHO HAS ANY TYPE OF EVIDENCE AGAINST DIRECT SHOPPING NETWORK TO JOIN IN THE LAWSUIT WITHOUT ANY EXPENSE.

I ordered an item from DSN on 07/04/11 in the amount of $131.95. The order never arrived. I cancelled the order on 08/15/11 after having been given so many lame excuses and requested a FULL REFUND.
I have spent many hours holding on the phone for Customer "NO" Service and sent so many emails, none of which were answered.
It now 09/29/11 and I still have NO REFUND.
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!
I ordered opal earings . After 2 months and 14 days I have not received them I have been told so many falsehood by their customer service dept. I cancelled my order on Sept. 1st. On Sept. 13 I called again still no refund. All I was told was they would check into i. I will never order anyting else from them.
Took yellow sapphires in for appraisal and found out they are beryrillium treated. They are worthless.
I bought some stones and had them tested 9 of 11 came back fake. I contacted them and was told to send them back and they would retest them because they knew they weren't fake. I returned the stones in February 2012 plus a different order of stones for them to check. DSN told me it would take a couple of months, I started calling in May to see when I would get them back. I have been put off with promises up till I last contacted them in October 2012 when I last spoke with someone they said " you will receive them in 2 weeks" that would have been the 3rd week of Oct. 2012, Here I sit with no stones worth over $300.00 and DSN in involuntary bankruptcy.
I have same problems with Direct Shopping Network. I got sucked in just like everyone else. I purchased, what was suppose to be Burma Ruby 2.5 cr when I finally got it in mail, it was a joke. I not sure what it was so I returned it and never got my money back or credit or anything. Tried and tried to contact but never got anywhere just put on hold for hours and hours. I just got fed up. That was just one of many stones I returned and never got credit or my money back. I not even sure how much they owe me must be in the thousands. It was so frustrating you get to a point and you just have let it go. I am so happy to see that finally going to get what they diserve, we trusted them and they just stole or hard earned monies. I work in construction and earn every dollar I have I just can not believe what they did to so many people. The hammer really need to come down hard on DSN

I'm all for a class action against DSN! I have alot of strong evidence against them. Believe me the ball is rolling. It's just a matter of time, Uncle Artie is shaking in his boots.
they take your money and never send anything, dont answer there phone, wont do refunds ect, just shop with gems bond great show and great guy to deal with, comes on direct tv on sundays mondays and wed, will get what you pay for.
I am having the same issues you were. It is simply a ploy to steal your money. I would love to see a Class Action Lawsuit against them. I think it would put them out of business and keep them from stealing from anyone else. I can't believe that the state of CA. allows a company like DSN to continue to defraud consumers like us and thousands of others.
no dsn scam and rip off me not my bank so i have to stop that not makes scom and rip off easy for them .that way iam in the great usa away from my home i hope you get my point thanks for your comment
items never received refund never issuesd
I ordered 10 pieces Spinel on 5/27/11, I called customer service after 4 weeks they apologized because they are short handed, since I was suspicious, I told the Rep. as stated on you policy "order takes no more than 20 days" which means I have the right to cancel the order and get a refund, and I told him to refund my account, which didn't happen until now. I have a lot of evidence from phone calls and emails and DVDS that Direct shopping network intentionally scam, fraud, and false advertise . If anyone have evidence against Direct shopping network please contact me to join me in a legal action at no coast. I'll post four more complaints for 4 different orders proofing DSN doing this intentionally, watch for my postings, and anyone wants to join me please contact me no later than 8/20/11 before I start my action. Thank you

I have won the bid on a sapphire and diamond ring, that was in July and the 1st of December I still haven`t received it.In that 4 months i called lots of times... Sometimes it took 2 hours to get a answer! I always took notes on everything that was said . I always got the run around...So we called our credit card company and told them the problem we were having ...They gave us the amount that was charged on our credit card.Thank Goodness...Been there and back... Good luck to all that fall for this company.
agree.. I cannot get them to answer phone and when you call then when they are on the air they tell you customer service is not there and to call back.. they are taking orders..then you call back and they just put you on hold for hours... and I left my phone on for an hour.. to see..they never picked up and I still am waiting after they charged my card.. will refuse charge tomorrow.. they are awful./ will ask DISH to remove them from my TV
All I can say is I will never buy from them again
I ordered a ring in Sept 2017. It took about 5 weeks to get it. The 14k gold mounting was very thin, the 1.15 of diamonds was more like maybe 50 points. When I returned it Nov 11th, that is when I found out it would be 45 days to get my money back. They also take 10 percent of the purchase price. I shouldn't get docked money because there product was inferior. On the air they do not tell you any of this. Other shopping channels get your product out in a week and you have your money back if your not satisfied with in a week of mailing it back with their shipping label. So I paid $700 plus shipping to get it. Then I paid more to send it back and insured it. Then I lost $70 for their restocking fee. It is Dec 14th and haven't gotten my refund. All I can say is I will never buy from them again. I spend alot of money on line, espcially on jewelry. Direct shoppings loss.
I ordered a pair of tanzanite earrings, block D, from DSN. I was charged the next day. I called repeatedly as I had not received the earrings. After two months, I called to cancel the order. They apologized and said they had not been shipped out yet and I would be credited. Five days later, I received the earrings, but no credit. While waiting for the earrings, I ordered a ring. I called the next day to cancel the ring. I got my credit card bill the next month and the charge for the ring was on there. I called them and told them if the charge was NOT off my account in five days I would contact the State Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. They are a poor ran company. Late on deliveries if you ever get them at all, but quick on charging you.
I ordered four items from DSN and after waiting 6 weeks, I cancelled all four of them. When I received the first cancelled order, I called and recancelled the other 3 items. When I received the next cancelled item, I called again and complained (and cancelled the last two for the third time). Today I got another already-cancelled item, and I feel like Alice falling down the rabbit hole. I never dealt with a company that a) charged you right off the bat and kept your money for at least a month before you see the product and b) doesn't listen AT ALL. I will not spend one more cent with them again (and I considered myself to be a good customer). Their fiscal practices are abominable.
I placed two orders, one the last of May, 2017 and another in August. Total of both, $586.90 were charged to my VISA. Never received either orders. After two e-mails, I spoke to custormer service three times, and on Oct. 11, 2017, I sent a registered letter, which they received, signed, and I got the green card back as proof that they received it. Still no response. This borders on THEFT. I'm wondering what to do next. I'm not going to let it ride.
Since April 17, I have ordered several auctioned items from Direct Shopping Network, totaling more than $5, 000 and have called customer service only to be told that they would be shipped out by next week, to date, I still have not received any of the jewelry items only promises. Every time I try to contact customer service now, the phones don’t get answered. I have videoed taped the jewelry items auctioned when they were purchased. It's upsetting to see them on the air selling merchansise but never delivering your items, and taking your money.
I ordered on New Years Eve 12/31/2017 an item that "ART" didn't have to show, but "trust me" it will be something wonderful. I do not drink, so I was in my right mind. I have ordered from other Jewelry tv shows and things went well. Today is 2/21/2017, I have called them 3 times to ask where the item is, they always say it is on it's way, we were overwhelmed with the orders and it is just taking extra time. They had no problem applying order to credit card within minutes. I called yesterday, and again was told the same thing. I told them I was beginning to worry about this company. He assured me that they could not be in business for 10 yrs if people were unhappy. I told him maybe they stayed in business because of "stupid people" like me that placed orders, and I had been checking them on the internet and found that their reputation was not very good. I was then informed that maybe I should not ever do business with them again and he hung up on me. GOOD BUSINESS? I think NOT! Who besides sounding off on here can do something about this?
Purchased ring on January 10, 2017 my account was charged on January 11, 2017 was told at the time of ordering it should take two weeks after the third week passed I called and was told that it usually takes 3-4 weeks however, mine was being shipped on Friday and should have it no later than Tuesday. I waited another week then called again only to be told they didn't know what happened but they would gladly cancel the order and refund my money. As of today March 1, 2017 I am still waiting! I have called numerous times and getting the same lies! Do not purchase from DSN!
For Becky76: If You can for the sake of time please send a certified letter to Direct Shopping Network simply asking for a refund for the total amount plus the interest based on your state also if possible please fax them a copy of that letter and keep a copy for your records. If you would like to help me and help yourself, I hope if you can watch Direct Shopping Network specially on Tuesday and Friday late at night and I hope if you have a DVR or any recording device and I'm sure you will catch a lot of false advertising and scamming and sheeting . I have several things to give you an example, I have a recording for the host Blue Sheppard repeating over hundred times that he is selling the item under 50% of the whole sale price while showing a bag with the price on it claiming that this is the whole sale price, but if you look on the bag beside the price is written clearly "SALES PRICE". I had asked my relatives to buy few pieces on purpose and they appraised it and instead of appraising 700 to 800 %more like it should if he was honest it appraised almost for the same price they bought it for. Also I would like to thank You for emailing me and I'll email you after my next meeting with the lawyer on Sep 5 so we can exchange phone numbers and I think it's also good to wait until Sep 5 to give an opportunity to others to join with us against Direct Shopping Network.
I purchased many items From DSN in their early years and got some very nice items, but they were inconsistent in quality so some were sent back with no problems. Based on these positive experiences I sent my great grandmother's platinum bar pin to them asking them to source some replacement stones for some that were missing from the pin. The replacement stones needed were unusual cuts so they needed the pin to get correct sized/cut stones. DSN promised to source the stones for me and would contact me when they had pricing information. They said it might take a while. After not hearing from them I started emailing and writing them. Finally I started sending registered letters, and calling them every week or so. They have not responded to me. At this point I just want my pin back as well as my grandmother's ring also sent to have two diamonds sourced. Even though the executive management of DSN is aware of this issue, no one from DSN has responded to my requests for communication. The last time I telephoned the customer service representative stated something about me having abandoned my property because I didn't contact them timely. They always knew where I was and how to contact me and I have consistently tried to contact them. I DID NOT abandon my property. Apparently they stole it. Beside the irreplaceable sentimental value to me as a family heirloom, the pin was valued at over $5, 000.
Call your CC co now may be able to still dispute this.
that has to be the worst customer service in the world, let alone the items when you finally receive it does not look anything like the one they show. also they will say they only have 1 and i myself have purchased it and will call them from another phone in about an hour and they say yes they still have the item shown they will tell you the other persons credit card did not go through when you KNOW IT DID BECAUSE IT WAS YOURS. false advertising i hope they get caught and have to pay. or go to jail

I purchased a couple of jewelry items from DSN last year or thereabouts. The items took about a month to arrive but were good values for the money and it's unusual to be able to order custom items in rose gold. Unfortunately, the service and quality took a nose dive this year. I have ordered single gemstones and for whatever reason the transactions are slow...

Direct Shopping Network is carried by local cable companies also Direct TV and sattle light dish. I have bought jewelry from them for about 7 months and have found them to be intermittently bad about sending you the item you have bought. They subsitute item of lesser value. Twice I have had earring tags on rings. I have called and complained but get no satisfaction. It takes them weeks to send an item that you have paid for. At times I have waited up to six weeks and then got an inferior product. I am not doing business with this company again. I hope when this complaint is read people take my advice and do business with this company. They are located in Las Angeles California.

DSNTV.COM is an absolute rip-off. What they show is not what you receive. I purchased a ring that took almost two months to receive. When it arrived the stone had a crack in it. Returns are difficult with them. If you return an item and want your money back, they charge a 15% "restocking fee". If you don't want to lose 15%, you must leave your money with them and use it for another purchase. I trusted them on a final sale item and received the above mentioned cracked stone. At a final sale, there is no recourse with DSNTV.COM. They are free to send any junk they please.
i have had a ring on order for 30 days and still have not recieved it. also i had ordered 2 - 1.20ct imperial topaz gemstones and when i recieved them they were not as ordered ! returned! gave my track and confirm # showing that it had been recieved by DSNTV to my cc co. They keep giving me the run around and will not let me talk to somebody in charge ! please do not shop with this company !
sincerely,
mary
I wish I had looked at your web site before I order my ring. I paid for it in May and just a few days it will be July. It has been a joke. I will go talk to my bank and they will hopefully get the money credited on my credit card. I will never order anything elese from these people.
Has anyone thought to contact the networks themselves to let them know what's going on with DSN? They almost sound like Jewelry Television, as I tend to get a little suspicious when you don't have any 'on-air' "live" testamonials. Maybe if viewers banded together and signed petitions shows like this could go off the air and stay off. Lastly, one more time, I've found if none of these places accepts money orders, "I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM". Why give you my credit card info for you to use it over and over and over again?
i used to buy from them but after returning several items because they weren't what they claimed to be they cancelled my account.
i had been very sick on night and decided to turn on the TV and watch DSN. they had an Alexandrite ring for auction that was quoted by ART to be the "MOST AWSOME GEMSTONE". Art claimed it would turn from Green to deep red. i bid on it and when the bid got to 2900.00 i said i didn't want to bid anymore and they rep told me to hold on that the other person's credit card wouldn't go thru and did i want the ring i said yes. it took a while to get the ring and when i got it, it didn't turn like that at all. i called and they said that the stone must have gotten switched and they would make it right. i finally got it back 2 months later. i had thought that in the candle lite it turned red and it did but not like they said it would. i called again and they said that is how a real Alexandrite is, so i believed them. it has been a couple of years since then and i have never taken the ring to have it checked to see if it is real or not although i have a "certificate".
anyway i would never buy anything from them again nor would i trust a word they tell you.
i think they rip people off all the time. i would love to have a classaction suit against them.
Michele
I have also had really bad experiences with these folks. Weeks to send an item, weeks of being told it is on "back order", and weeks more to get a refund. I don't get it. I had ordered items that had to be made to size and they arrived in about 4 weeks in perfect condition. I ordered a gemstone this summer and it was a bloody nightmare. Now I'm waiting to get a refund on an item I'd rather just have sent to me but I don't even trust them to finish the transaction.
They really must be in financial trouble to be so horrible, or they have friends in the California Attorney General's office. Otherwise I can't imagine why they haven't been snatched off the air...
I got ripped off both times I ordered from them, once they sent my $700
ring to the wrong city and once they never sent anything at all.
The only way I got my money back was to do a charge back with my cc company.

I purchased an item on 7/4/2011 and have yet to receive the item. My card was charged and I have emailed and called numerous times and the times that I did get through they stated that my item should be shipping soon or within the next two weeks. If anyone has any info please info me at efabian85@gmail.com
I also can contribute to the array of complains. Unfortunately I was the victim of the company like many others. Multiple e mails and almost every day telephone calls didn't yield any positive results. After six months I again contacted my credit company and filed a dispute. A month later the money was credited to my account. As far as company is concerned, I am surprised that no criminal charges have been made against this company.
A couple of years ago I ordered a diamond semi mount which was very uncomfortable so I returned it. Another more expensive diamond semi mount that was shown on the week end. I called and purchased it. The problem came with the billing. I asked how that was going to be done. Would the price of the returned ring be credited on my card toward this purchase.? I would receive credit for the first ring and be billed for the second I was told. When I did not receive credit for the first ring and was billed for both, I called customer service and was told that I had credit for the price of the first ring to purchase something else from them. They would not remove the charge from my credit card. I had to threaten legal action with the State of California to get this transaction straightened out. It is a shame that this company has declined. I have purchased several attractive pieces of jewelry at good prices. I wonder if some of the jewelry is "seconds". My semi mount had an off center stem to mount the stone. The jeweler worked it out. Too bad Lauren left.
I also ordered a ring last Sept 2011 and have still not received a thing. many many phone calls and when we did get through they could not give us any more answers. Art and Jessica stop taking our phone calls. our credit card company states we waited too long so please call yours within 3 months and do not believe their promises to ship any longer. we have been a great customer of theirs for many years until now.
I too have been used and abused by DSN. Orders as far back as August 2011 were never filled and yes, my credit card was charged at the time of order. I have been a customer of DSN for 8 years and while I had to wait sometimes 6 weeks for my items, I was always satisfied with my purchase. But what the hey is going on now? After contacting customer service several times and Art Garabedian, the owner, refusing to talk to me about my orders, I called my credit card company and they got my charges reversed. Even if they do get their act together I doubt that I will give them another chance. I got out while the getting was good!
I also filed a complaint with the FTC and contacted my credit card company and they are processing my complaints. I have ordered several things since July of this year that have never shipped. I have cancelled all my orders and called until I blue in the face. The deserve everything that they get for not conducting business ethically.
I purchased a ring for over 1300.00 on sept, 28th. I sent 3 emails and made 4 calls with no response, After 1st email with no response I got on the net to research this company, I was horrified at the feed back on this company, I promptly called my cc company and filed a billing dispute with them, I also filed a complaint with the FTC. This company is in direct violation of the FTC laws. I am happy to say that my credit card company has taken the charge off my statement, they charged my cc on sept 29th, my card was wiped clean on oct. 28th. Don't waste anytime with this company, file a dispute right away if you get no response from them, and file a complaint with the FTC, maybe someone will step in and straighten this company out, or shut them down.
I cancelled order for a blue sapphire which was 2 mos. old usually get gemstones in 3-4 wks.But got a .30 diamond band ring in 18k in 10 days so fast it made my head spin.Still waiting for other jewelry items well over a month.I believe they float on our payments .Was told by service rep they are short handed when I called in Aug.Have been a customer for 4 yrs
I am also waitng on diamond stones to arrive, two of my three orders arrived a month and one and a haft months later and are not the same stones promised.
I agree that DSN is a rip-off and should be shut down.
Fortuniately, I ordered items that were not too expensive.
Don S.
On 6/15/11 my card was charged $400.00 plus tx and s&h for a pair of earrings. On 6/27/11 my card was charged $1600.00 plus for a ring. They didn't and never do send email confirmations which is stated on the customer service page that they always do. You CAN'T get a hold of anyone that could possibly help. THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. It is now 8/21/11. Im still waiting and don't know what to do. If anyone can help, my email is kkatt@inbox.com.
DSN states info incorrectly
Not to mention that their phone reps are rude and not of any help, I have also talked to some who were stoned. The hosts are always talking about parties on the parking lot and all the operators are outside. They also take forever for delivery. They say all their stones are natural and that is so untrue. See following article...

Unfortunately I did not check them out before spending over $6000 on 13 orders from 12/22/06 to 4/01/07 under the impression that false, misleading and misrepresentation is not allowed by the FCC. All of the orders were wrong and I sent back for refunds and/or corrections. It took me making 40+ calls(with 100's of minutes on hold)15 unfulfilled promises to call me back and sending 5 faxes over the period of 12/30/06 to 5/23/07 to get some response. I did get a store credit for shipping only to use it on another order that came wrong. It took my undying persistance to get that and to get any credits that took 2 to 4 months and repairs took just as long. I never recieved the promised certificates of authenticity and received a couple certificates for products I did not receive. I gave up on that. I would not have gotten my money credited at all or the repairs if I had not been so persistant. The repairs were no good either. I believe that they try to win by wearing you out. Their promises of customer service are totally bogus and they lie, deceive and blatenly misrepresent on the air. I have everything documented but do not know where to go. It takes them nearly a month or longer to actually ship items ordered even though they charge your card immediately(I heard that this was a FCC violation)they state this is their policy to charge you for the item and not ship it for 3 weeks or so-using our money to operate-and thus it takes so long for you to get an order that you don't know the problems you are getting yourself into if you do some shopping over a few days. I have watched the 2 female hosts do the most bogus so called actions, they put up so called final clocks 2 or 3 times, one time one of them even bought off the auction winner because it was too low, they cheat at the auctions. Why do they get away with this. I have tried to contact the owners via phone, letters, faxes and email- they do not publish their email-no response whatsoever. Do not shop there! Beware- I am stuck with suppossedly repaired jewelry that I cannot wear because they fall apart-and if I try to return them again I may never see them or my money. Will have to pay a jeweler to repair. Stupid me actually gave them another chance this November - took nearly a month for them to ship the item, even though I paid for it the day of order (when I called and asked about where it was thats when they told me that it is their policy to not ship for 3 wks, but charge upon ordering)The piece I received was pretty and a good value but again the settings are bad and cannot wear-will have repaired locally and NEVER shop with them again.

Dear Greg,
Here's another tip off, if they don't accept 'money orders' (because some of them can keep charging your cards), I don't shop with them. Once the money order is used, you can't 're-use' it. What a terrible shame. It's past time for DSN to be put out to pasture.
I resell gems and have $15, 000 of red and green andesine that I am going to take a beating on. I'm just glad my husband loves me for my body LOL. I hope the economy improves some year and I can get a little out of them. A little is all I could get right now. They also owe us several certs. and I am pretty sure why they didn't send them. When all this mess started, we had two rings appraised and they were not what we paid for. One was $5, 000 the other $5, 500. Those I bought for my self and I guess it is a good thing. They are pretty, but they did a real CHEAP bait and switch on me. I still have six more to have appraised, no cert. No telling what they are. I should have known when they would not send the certs. Thanks for letting me vent all this.
Thanks

Never buy from them. They keep your mony and you never receive merchandise
I took the rubies in for appraisal and found out they were glass filled.
I have shopped with DSN for years (5 yrs-jewelry and loose stones), rarely do I not get the quality I ordered or inferior quality. I usually get what I expect. Most of the jewelry is made to order so dah-it will take awhile to get it. AND DOUBLE DAH-all auctions are FINAL-just saying.
I have had a few dogs, but my local jeweler is ALWAYS amazed at the quality and price. I have yet to find ANYWHERE that can meet their price/quality.
Love Art-he is hilarious.

drizzle dazzle drizzle dumb time for this one to come home. Buyer beware as they say. Don't be dumb do your homework. the real question is : What happened to Blue Shepherd One of their long standing gem hosts. contact me if you know? I got the 7 yr. itch with DSN.Also my shona is gone after over 6 yrs. By the way Sonia is the gal in charge of customer service. Tell her Dr. Phil sent ya and the buck stops here! joe.buck@yahoo.com p.s. if this helpful contact me for more in the DSN saga.
I also order merchandise from DSN approximately nineteen days ago. When I placed the order I was told that it would take fifteen days for the merchandise to arrive to my house. After two weeks of waiting, I called DSN and was told that they actually said twenty days before merchandise will arrive. Well tomorrow will make twenty days and I have not see hide nor hare of my merchandise and what is even more frightening, I cannot access the website on my computer.
regarding that CBS report. It turned out to be a disgruntled employee who was let go (female show host) and she was bitter (according to DSN attorney...) This was also on the cbs report, but some people just like to read the bad stuff for whatever reason. Forget about the rebuttles and getting the story straight in the end. They are still on the air anyway... (and hope the economy is kind in the end too, for their troubles with that false report!)
I read follow up on that CBS report and evidently it was a disgruntled employee.. go figure... anyone can claim anything, but forget about rebuttles or making the stories straight... These reports don't get out there. Bummer for DSN. Glad they are still on the air. I like the GUY hosts better than the girls though. Though Marlene is OK.
There may be justice after all when it comes to DSN. They are being investigated the Attorney General of California. Former and present employees claim: "fake auction bids", "lie about one of a kind items" and "fake phone calls to generate excitement". The first two are illegal my friends. Check out cbs2.com "Investigation into DSN" and "TV Shopping Network Employees Come Forward". DSN scammed me out of nearly $10, 000 because I could not return auction items that were pieces of garbage.
I hope the other jewelry network take this very seriously because there are several who are doing the very same thing.
I've had the opposite experience. I've also bought over 13 times, and only ONCE was disappointed because I did not order MORE of a particular stone! What's up with the first person on this blog who is so disappointed but yet has ordered 13 times, LOL... Well, I'll keep shopping and "investing" in the rubies, etc, esp. now that my stock is not worth squat!
