dog breeding/animal abuse
Sue Robson sells puppies from suspicious breeder, Paul Zeiset. I personally bought a dog from her and it has been almost non-stop medical issues and expenses. I love my dog and would do anything for her so obviously she's had expert care and medication but, they should be stopped so dogs won't have to suffer. Thank you.

Breeder takes advantage of uneducated buyers who are making an emotional purchase when buying a puppy buy only selling puppies on a Limited Registration. They do this because they want to control the breeding lines and to control what AKC events you can show your dog in.
They breed out of a house with a filthy backyard. They puppy I purchased was in good heath but was made more in an attempt to get this puppy out of that situation.
My dog is now 2 1/2 years old and when I asked the breeder to take off the limited registration they said they would not and even when as far as to say that I was raising my dog incorrectly.

Scammer
I purchased a Sheltie puppy from this breeder I found on line at Puppyfinder.com. I spoke to him on the phone several times. I saw a picture of the puppy and read about him. He was 4 months old when I got him. He is now seven months old, and since I received him, this breeder has been stalling on getting me his AKC papers. I was told he is a pure bred Sheltie, whose parents were both show dogs. I "over bid" for him, realizing now that the breeder told me that the puppy had already been promised to another person. When I offered an extra $100 over the asking price, suddenly he was mine. Although he came from Felton, CA, and I live in Las Vegas, the breeder offered to meet me in Bakersfield (half way). So far, I thought he was a trustworthy, considerate person.
Six weeks ago, after having the puppy since February 19th, I contacted him regarding the papers. He got angry, and said it takes a long time. He told me he would call the AKC. He "did" and blamed them for the delay, and said it would take six more weeks. So today (6 weeks later) I texted him regarding if he heard anything about the papers yet and that I was concerned about his bloodline because at seven months, he is unusually big. Professional and non-professional people both have commented on his size. I already have another Sheltie, and I know how big they are supposed to get. He ended up getting very angry, cursed me out in the text and said he was going to call me. He called me, screaming at me, and once again, used profanity and would not let me get a word in. He blamed me for the dog being big and said I must be feeding him "like a horse." I told him the dog is not fat, but very lanky, tall and long, and that I am feeding him according to the Vet's instructions. He wouldn't listen. He told me "he's tired of my ###", and used the F word several times. I hung up on him.
I spent $1000 on this dog, who I thought was a pure bred to be treated like this, and obviously lied to. I know from research, it takes only a few days to get the paperwork, and more importantly, I should have been given the papers at the time of sale. I have spoken to a dog trainer and law enforcement about this already. Apparently, there are a lot of dog breeders out there who are scammers, and this is their tactic. I should have put the pieces together when the dog was already 4 months old (he explained that away when he told me he was originally planning on keeping him, yet he came with no name and no training), when he drove 4 1/2 hours to unload him, when he told me there was another buyer to get a higher bid, and now treating me like this when all I'm asking for is what I was promised. Apparently, they think the buyer will eventually give up on asking and because I didn't, he acted like this. This person needs to be investigated and put out of business.
The important thing is that the puppy is great. Yes, I was scammed and paid way too much, but at least he is not sick or have any problems. That would be much worse. Thank you for the info. Yes, I was too trusting. But I still need to report him to the AKC, and I have.
Breeder who lies, misrepresents and does not fulfill her promises and contracts
I purchased a puppy from Sherrie Rouse on March 15, 2011. The puppy was supposed to be born on Dec. 25th of 2010. The puppy had a severe Urinary Tract infection when I arrived to pick her up (after a 3 hour drive). Sherrie knew this and never mentioned it. She insisted that the puppy was just fine, and insisted that I take her rather than make the trip...

These people are BAD and neglectful breeders. More like a puppy mill. I would even go as far as saying animal cruelty. Bought a 5 yr old miniature dachshund (female). She was sold because she was no longer "useful". This poor dogs teeth were rotted out. The worst I've ever seen. Called the woman (Lisa Findore) the next day to complain, her response wa...

I bought a black lab born on 3/10/10 to George and Katie (dogs). Was told no hip problems. My 9 month old dog has VERY BAD hip dysplasia, which will require hip replacements in a few years. I was told by breeder, Debbie, that there is nothing she can do about this. She states that she has never had a complaint about hip problems in the past from any of the pups she has sold. Vets recommend to STOP breeding if an offspring has hip dysplasia, a very painful and expensive problem. My 9 month old black lab walks like an 11 year old with bad arthritis. Don't buy from them.
Thanks for the comments. The first respondent must have ice in his veins. Either that or nothing to do with his time. There are no hip scores for the parents, an uneducated consumer is a breeders best customer when they want to cut corners. I have since learned that anyone can call themselves a breeder. The AKC cannot regulate them, however they recommend to stop breeding dogs that have produced a pup with hip dysplasia. The breeder is now trying to tell me that something must have happened since I've had the pup, like we did somthing to him to cause this. A board certified Orthopedic Veterinarian who specializes in Hip Dysplasia would not tell me his hips were bad if they weren't, It is quite obvious even to a lay person that his hips are bad - and the xrays confirm it. We are now providing this pup with physical therapy, underwater treadmill therapy and medication. Restricted activity, food intake, etc. Not an easy thing to do to a pup. I would just hate to see anyone else go through this if they don't have to.

Thanks! You made my day (Or night). I've been waiting for a dog since February, and was told not too long ago that the reservation was given to someone else. It completely crushed my heart to know I wasn't going to get a golden retriever... These people rarely kept in tabs with us, and weren't very nice. Knowing that these people were like this made me feel somewhat satisfied that I didn't actually give 2k to them...
