DVD Donkey Judging Amy Box Set

I ordered the Judging Amy Box Set for Xmas, and was so disapointed that it was fraudulent to have paid for very poor copies. Hardly any disc played the entire way through, and some even had "Commercials" on them?
I contacted them and have it in writinf that they would replace the faulty discs or reimbirse me my money?
I emailed backto just give memy money back? but needless to say I have had no luck.
I have made a spreadsheet itemising all the disc and the faults, and I shall be sending it to my Credit Card people, don't know if I have any chance of getting my money back?

About dvddonkey if people see something too cheap to be true it is as if anyone actually read the add they would have noticed that it said the art work was extra so you were buying pirated copies from a russian country you would have realized this if anyone read the add.

Ye $65 for a complete set of 40 discs get real. And no one could see this as a problem.

I ordered the complete "Dennis The Menace" TV series and was told it was on back order. That was months ago. They did ask me if I wanted it credited or keep the charge until it was available. I've never received it or any further emails, but was charged for the item.

I ordered the DVD TV Series (years 1-4) of "The Paper Chase" in Dec 2008 for Christmas. I was told it would be delivered in two weeks. In Januray (after 4 weeks) I emailed them, no response. Their phone had been disconnected, finally an email was returned asking what I wanted, I have now waited 5 months. Please do NOT order from this company, read the numerous other complaints!

I purchased the Third Watch DVD series in January and have never received the goods nor response to emails regarding the failure to receive the DVDs. I have made multiple attempts to contact the company and have received advise from the Department of Fair Trading regarding how to claim my money back. This company was advertised on EBAY and made numerous false promises and guarantees. I hope noone else will fall victim to this company!

I had ordered the Murder She Wrote complete DVD collection for 88.18. I never received the dvds they had said it was on backorder. I called to get my refund and the number was disconnected. I emailed their live chat person and the sent me an email with a new phone number to call. I am still fighting with them to get my refund but if anyone wants the number its [protected]. You have to hold a long time before they answer though.

Ordered the "complete gunsmoke series" on Jan 1, 08. Phoned and left a message in mid-Feb, they replied with an e-mail that product would ship within 5-7 days. Still have not received. During searches of the web, have been able to confidently link this website with others in operation - I believe all operated by the same scamming people.

Ordered Full series Hawaii Five O. Took 3 months to get. It was a 7 year series. DVD's scratched, duplicate programs. series incomplete, numerous error messages on dvd. Failed mid show, no answer from them or the company Ultimate DVD who finally shipped programs. They would not return emails or phone messages. I tried over 100 times to both companies.

DVD Donkey Pirated DVDs, charged for full order and never received the rest of DVD's ordered!

I ordered 2 DVD sets from DVD Donkey on Dec 5, 2007. After about 2 months I finally did receive one set which was Carol Burnett show. These were copied from TV Land marithon weekend and sold as the real deal. Very poor quality and they show that it is copied from the TV Land network. I also had ordered the Laverne & Shirley DVD set in which I was charged 88.99 plus 28.79 shipping. I never received this set and never received a credit. Now DVD Donkey will not answer emails and their phone is not working.

DVD Donkey Scam!

My family ordered a DVD box set from DVD Donkey. The money was taken from our account the next day... The box set was NEVER received. The website doesn't give any direct company information (address). Before I made the purchase I searched for any negative reports on DVD Donkey and found none. Clearly by the previous person's report of TV Milk - the company name changes for a reason! On my printed receipt it gave a toll-free number... which is DISCONNECTED. The charge had a phone number on my bank statement 888.788.6455; which is for TV Milk. After going round and round... the mail box is full and I couldn't leave a message!

In looking for DVD Donkey or TV Milk information I found another person that was refered to TV MILK by the website of television network ABC. After reading reports here of people dealing with the run-around for as long as 9 months, I immediately called my credit union, and they are taking care of it from their end... looks like someone is snookering major companies into a ripoff scheme called 'DVDDonkey', 'TVMilk', etc. I just feel sorry for the people who find out the hard way under their next name. There is something to be said for brick-and-morter stores.

DVD Donkey They got my $, I got no product!

I ordered That 70's Show complete series on 12/5/07 for a Christmas gift. Not knowing this was coming from Canada and they were tv copies. I have called and on occation been able to talk to someone who keeps reassuring me to wait while they investigate the where abouts of the DVD's. I have had the most luck reaching someone on live chat. But they will not refund my money and keep telling me that my product is tied up in customs.

The tracking # I got is bogus, Canada post has no record of it.

I ordered a set of dvd's over 3 months ago, have tried to contact dvd donkey on several occasions and have received neither dvds or even an answer to messages left. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE A COMPLETE FRAUD AND SHOULD BE DEALT WITH BY AUTHORITIES. It makes me so angry that anyone can advertise and make huge claims, but not be made to adhere to them. Amazing how the money can be taken out so efficiently, but no other action can go according to plan. STAY AWAY FROM THEM OR YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF TOO! The DVD's were ordered for my mum who was going in to hospital and needed cheering up - she has since recovered, but I would have loved to give her this one simple gift that I knew she would have really enjoyed.

I placed an order today for the complete DVD set of Call to Glory using my credit card. After my order was processed and I received an order number I called the 800 number to check on shipping method. The number does not belong to this company. I tried the email contact and all my attempts bounced back. I then tried the Live Chat function and it also just bounces back. I then looked up the company on Google only to find it is a Sham and a Rip Off company.

I then called my credit card company and asked for guidance. I was told I have to wait for possible delivery and to monitor my card use. After 30 days I can then file Fraud which I intend to do.

BEWARE THIS BUNCH OF CROOKS!

DVD Donkey Scam and fraud!

Where do I start. I should have suspected something when I saw the character of Donkey from Shrek. That is a copyrighted character. Oh well. I ordered "Perfect Strangers", probably my favorite TV show. When I got the package (which arrived in a timely manner), I started watching the DVD's. Three of the episodes I watched froze in the middle of the episode. One of the DVD's, clearly marked "Perfect Strangers" contained episodes of "JAG". Another DVD was totally blank. Another episode was slightly out of sync.

To add insult to injury, I found that their "promise" to respond to e-mails within 24-48 hours was totally bogus. After I threatened to start legal proceedings, they responded. Gee, go figure. They told me that they would refund my money (which they did within 2 days) and send me a return envelope in which to return the videos. They also informed me that they would take the postage out of the refund money. I didn't much care, because I just wanted to get rid of the worthless DVDs.

So now it is two weeks later. I STILL don't have a return envelope. And as I have lost the invoice, I have NO idea of the return address ( except that it is in Canada). My google search of the company name led me to this site.

Thank you for allowing me to vent.

DVD Donkey Bad quality and incomplete DVDs!

I live overseas, and ordered the entire 6 seasons of "Judging Amy". I received the DVDs, and have found that NOT A SINGLE DVD works properly. Each DVD supposedly has 4 episodes. Not a single DVD has 4 viewable episodes. The DVDs are unable to negotiate properly, i.e., fastforward, fast backward, "next", etc. Several of the DVDs will not even read.

I don't know what good this letter will do, but just know that they took good money for a bad product.

Right here's some further information that may help you with your inquiry regarding DVD Donkey tracing and refund.

Ring Up Abbey National on [protected] and ask to see if they can track the number down on your Bank Statement for the order you made with DVD Donkey.

If they can't he/she will give you a number to ring for Online Deparment which is [protected].

Will sound like Abbey National again just keep on listening to the lady or man auto machine it will give you options to press which number on your Phone tone pad and press number 2.

That will take you through to Online Department it's self. They will deal with your inquiry regarding DVD Donkey about payment transaction.

If Online Department are unable to help they will give you anohter number to ring which will lead you to Visa Disbutes their Telephone Number is [protected].

Then someone from Visa Disbutes will be able to give you a refund first they say they need to know the situation before they can give you a refund then after they know which company you made payment to DVD Donkey.

They say they will look into it and investigate it and will write to you by post Visa Disbutes says this will take up to 4 weeks.

Another thing they found out is that DVD Donkey says sound like DVD Donkey will show up as DVD Best on your Bank Statement.

$187.98 is 97.51 in British Pounds.

After Visa Disbute telling you that they say you need to ask DVD Donkey for their contact details and try to get as much information from them as you can.

That explaines why it might not show up on your Bank Statement cause it shows up under a different name as DVD Best. I believe DVD Best is DVD Donkey.

I'll keep you all informed of progress with getting a refund back from DVD Donkey through Visa Disbute and if does work for me you'll hear about it here immedietly whether I get a refund this way here from Visa Disbute or not.

When you do make an order from DVD Donkey a confirmation is shown with order number how much you paid for a DVD and date at bottom right hand side print it out and keep it safe somewhere for referencies.

That is proof you have paid for it on DVD Donkey.

DVD Donkey might not even be an American company even though it's got $ that at left hand side of price you paid for cause there is a Website you can create your own Website called My Store even in the UK with $ on it.

DVD Donkey not with a company called My Store otherwise it would say so then DVD Donkey after name My Store.

Paid $187.12 not sure how much that is in Pounds Sterlin know it's lower equivlent to UK price you can check on PayPal to see how much American dollars is in British Pounds.

Been onto Complaints Department for Unfair Trading Online and nothing back from them yet.

You should too if you don't get your money back from DVD Donkey.

I'd received an Email from DVD Donkey on 7th Feb 2008 on same day I sent the Email saying (I Quote): "Your order has been refunded. Unfortunetly we had a bit of a back log on the series of Out Of This World, we are sorry about the delay - then they go onto sayng - but we can assure you that your order will be shipped out expeditiously as soon as we receive the new stock, which should be within the next week. Once again we are sorry for the delay.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for further question and comment at Toll Fee 1=877=7TV=SHOW, you can e-mail us at orders@tvaddicts.tv or click and chat with our Live Support Service Agent on-line".

I've not received a refund they say it's been refunded and have checked my Bank Statement no refund hasn't come back to me yet.

For all you know it could be the Police doing DVD Donkey cause there's no address no real live person it could even be a terrorist group on DVD Donkey side.

Vina D don't know who she is never heared of a name like Vina before. Might not even be her real name.

Or it could be a him pretending to be called Vina it is possible to change your name Online as anyone or a made up name whether you want to be male or female on it they do that to either protect themselves or scammers.

Just thought I better let you know what they said to me.

Don't forget to give your order number via Email either on their Website or normal Email on MSN Hotmail or Yahoo Mail or Google Mail.

Let you know if I get a refund back.

Ordered from dvd donkey, never received confirmation or tracking #, after investigating I saw all these complaints, and went through my bank. They are a completely fraudulent company. There 1800 # is even missing one digit so you can't contact them. They did take my money, and after speaking to my bank I am filing a police report, so the bank can review it and possibly return my money. Also you should close out your account because now that we know they are fraudulent there is a possible they will falsely charge other things to your account. Looks like they are the donkeys, but we are the as**s...

DVD Donkey Paid items never shipped/arrived!

I placed an order through DVD Donkey on October 13, 07. They state that items will be shipped within 2-4 weeks and that they would send me an e-mail confirmation of my purchase. Luckily I printed my invoice from their website at the time of ordering bc I never received an email confirmation. Second, I was quoted: $199.99 for a DVD box set + $31.99 shipping = $231.18. My credit card was charged $238.32 3 days later - that's $7 too much! Finally after four weeks of waiting for my items to arrive I tried calling their 1877# for answers - but every time I've waited on hold and in the end get only an answering machine. I tried sending them a personal e-mail and got no response. I tried sending them a message from their "Contact Us" page (which by the way loads wrong so you can not easily send them a message...coincidence...I dont think so) and got no reply. I also tried contacting them through their 24hr online chat support - and the woman Karen with whom I spoke was of no help whatsoever! I am going to file a complaint with the online Better Business Bureau www.bbbonline.org and anybody else who has had problems with this company should do the same!

Has anyone ever got money back from the DVD donkey website? I placed an order in October 07 for the full fresh Prince of Bel Air boxset . It all seemed really legit until they said they tried to deliver but the business was closed (hard when it was going to my home address ). I talked to someone on liveperson and they said they had the wrong address and they would re- deliver within 14 days . Still nothing. they sent an email saying they had refunded my account in full but they did not. Its now been nearly 4 months and nothing... You would think the name DVD donkey would have give us some kind of clues!

I am new to this and wanted to get Sailor Moon and another anime show for my daughters. This was on the 26th of Dec. and have received payment confirmation from paypal, and reciept from animefirst.com for 125.00.
I checked the tracking code and the USPS said they were contacted on the 28th by the seller and told to "expect" my package, but nothing yet. Then I went directly to the animefirst tracking service and they claim that the package shipped. I am so annoyed!
I have sent two e mails and did a little digging around with the e mail addy that was given to me as being the seller. It turns out that that person used to sell on e-bay and had 92% positive fededback, but they are no longer there (since 06). I tried to look up the profile on yahoo and couldn't.

I hope others do thier research. I also hope that if something is wrong - they get caught.

I placed an order with The DVD Planet also known as Universal Gift Ventures on 11/14. I was later sent an email stating that my order was shipped to an incorrect address . They said they re-shipped my order but that there was a problem with their shipping department and they were correcting the problem by sending the orders out manually. Furthermore, by shipping it manually it was impossible to give me a tracking number. I still haven't received my order, in over a month, and the promised delivery date from each update and come and gone. The last promised date was Dec 6-8.

Since other people are reporting the exact same identical problems, this company has me very worried. Has anyone been able to get their money back? What legal recourse do we have?

i wanted to get a gift for my mother, so i came up with a good one: surprising her with the entire series of Martin (the Martin Lawrence show) which she loves so much. i searched the web and came across thedvdplanet.org. the design of the site raised some suspicion, but the fact that it has the locked icon and the https makes u feel like its secure. so i placed my order and entered all my information. luckily b4 i placed the final order and enter my card infomation, i had a gut feeling that i should do a little research to see if there have been any problems with this site. so i did and viola! withing a few moments i found several complaints about the site, as mentioned in the posts above, poor quality, never receiving the item etc etc. The item was priced $51.00 plus free christmas shipping special! Thank you all for reporting these scammers and helping expose them and save the rest of us from falling into their scams. sooner or later the law will catch up with them. it doesn't take too long to find a complaint about a site if there is one. DVDPLanet and DVDCollections seem to be one in the same, and like Dana I too have not received the product and it's been a month. I was also told that it ahd to be re-shipped because of the wrong address. My gurarateed arrival date has passed twice as well. I am also going to pursur legal actions.

I paid $59.99 on my credit card for supposedly 67 episodes of the Boris Karloff series Thriller. This was one of the Christmas presents I bought for my boyfriend, so now I'm scrambling to find it through Ebay because it's a very hard to find item and really wanted him to have it for Christmas.

It's been a month waiting for a $60 box set of "Wings". They have my money. All I have is an email saying that it was reshipped because it was sent to the wrong address. They gave a "guaranteed" arrival date, but that has passed (twice now). Even though they say on the website that there is tracking, there is none. It is a scam. Beware. Don't buy anything online with a debit card, use only credit cards. The law will eventually catch up with them, if I have anything to say about it. I will not let this go. Do not purchase anything from this company or any company without completely researching it first for scams.

DVD Donkey Charged me $95.32, sent nothing!

DVD Donkey is a scam. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

On 9/16/07 I purchased Karloff's Thriller series for $68.99. DVD Donkey added $19.19 for shipping and then added a surprise fee of $7.14 as a "system charge for processing fee of card," total charge 95.32. They did respond when I asked them about the charges, but then as the weeks dragged on and I sent emails asking when I would receive shipment, they ignored me.

Today is 11/6/07 and I have received no replies to my messages and have received no merchandise. I am disputing the charge via my credit card company.

Ordered on 10/01/07. Never received merchandise. All attempts to rectify the matter was met with a run around. I was given a shipping tracking number fro canadapost.ca to track ship and it was invalid. I went several times to their "chatroom" and talked with a Karen, Jen and Maria. Said it was shipped 30 Oct and tho their website said it would take 12 -14 days they changed it to 12-14 days from "shipping date" not order date. Also customer service phone numbers were futile. Just saying "no one was available". I'm out $127 and want a refund or at least get these people off the websit.

I guess, I too, have been scammed. I purchased a TV series (relunctantly) and my bank account was immediately charded 110.98. I received an email about a week later saying the item is backordered. I sent 3 emails asking how long it would be backordered to which I have received no reply. I cannot seem to get anyone at the number provided. I am writing the BBB and disputing with my bank (debit/credit card), but I'm sure I will not be refunded as I used my debit card. I DO NOT LIKE the fact that such a frudulent and irreputable company has such private information on me regarding my bank account. Please do not just voice a complaint here... voice your complaint with the BBB, too.

I placed an order for the dvd box set of 5 seasons of Ed back on 11/11/07 and have yet to receive the product. I've tried calling the customer service number and emailing for status and have gotten nowhere. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They also charged me more than what I thought I was paying. My receipt was for $88.18 and they charged my credit card $95.32. I just finished filing a dispute with my credit card company.

I ordered the latest DVD of Los Panchos entitled "LOS ANOS DORADOS DEL TRIO LOS PANCHOS". Firstly, the contents are compilations from ancient movies in which Los Panchos appeared. The video is terrible, and the audio is also out of sync and out of tune. I would consider this the worst purchase which I have ever made.
