E-Tobaccos.com Non-delivery of order

I have ordered tobacco products from e-Tobaccos twice before. The first time went without a hitch, the second I had a bit of a scare when I was given a defunct tracking number, but nevertheless the product was delivered. This time, however, I ordered my usual 20 bags of Golden Virginia, costing £231, was told the product was in stock, the payment was confirmed on the 20th of February and... nothing.
I emailed them to ask what the delay was and was told "there were difficulties being experienced in processing orders". 48 hours later the website went down with the note that all pending orders would be shipped or refunded. Well, I can tell you that NEITHER has happened. My emails have gone unanswered and while I can forgive a delay for them to sort their business out, it has been over a month since I last heard from them.

This is NOT a reliable business. I wouldn't go so far as to say it was a scam because I have successfully (albeit eventually) bought tobacco from them before, but this time they have taken my money - money which I can hardly afford to pay for such a luxury as tobacco, let alone give it away to undeserving con artists - and would not trust them again with any amount of money. I've now had to quit smoking because I can't afford it anymore. I am immensely disappointed and will tell everyone to steer clear.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are not a scam, but they might just as well be. You won't see your money again. Buying tobacco locally might seem more expensive, but believe me, when you've shelled out £230 and have nothing to show for it, e-Tobaccos becomes a lot more expensive. AVOID.

If e-Tobaccos read these complaints like they've done in the past and wish to settle then my order reference is #935957.

Hello,
I ordered, in december 2013, over 80 EUR in value of rolling tobacco. It's been almost 4 months and never received it. They had no problem taking my money and ignoring my emails. e-Tobaccos.com ripped me off and will do that to you also if you order from them.

So far, at the end of FEB, I have not received any delivery and product from them, In addition, they have neither physical address nor contact phone number except [protected]@e-Tobaccos.com email. Once they received your money, they almost ignored all my emails regarding to the order. So frustration. This is obviously one of the on line scams. The e-tobaccos is located in SPAIN.

I Have made multiple orders with E-Tobacco.com and every time i got my goods, they are a bit slow with processing their orders for being a Spanish company this the why they trade over there, at first i thought they were a scamming company but i was wrong, just be patient and hopefully you will receive your goods,

I've ordered over 250 USD value of cigarette and have never been received the products from them. I emailed but they ignore it... The only contact they listed is email. There are no phone or physical address shown in their site http://www.e-tobaccos.com/

I am a victim of on line scam. On Feb 8, 2010, I ordered $277.69 cigarettes from https://e-tobaccos.com/ and the transaction were charged under the name “ICI”. For almost 2 months, I have not received any delivery and product from them; In addition, they have no physical adderess or phone contacts except email sales@e-Tobaccos.com. Once they got my money, they almost ignored my emails. So frustration, I also demand to refund my money if they can’t deliver the product. Today, they respond that they just refund the money to the card listed above. Well, I called the credit card company and verified that there were no money refunded into my account. This is obviously one of the on line scams. The e-tobaccos is located in SPAIN. I can't do anything but to report this scam to the international authority. I am a victim of a theft in SPAIN and I this report is to warn you about e-tobaccos. DONT BELIEVE ANY THING THEY SAID IN THEIR WEB PAGE !

it would be nice if they took the time to respond to a simple email to allay fears, my first order and to be honest not at all confident, did not get a tracking reference for fedex with set off the alarm bells. I hope you are right, and thanks for the response.

I ordered two weeks ago and I have not received my tobacco, they never reply to emails, the update says it shipped with fedex but no fedex tracking number was given and no reply when I requested it. customer service is brutal and as its my first order I am fairly wary about how genuine this company is.

We would like to report that we were never contacted back by "San Diego" or "Sandiegan" so we could fix the issue he reports. We assume that he is no longer interested in fixing it or that he is not a real customer (we do not know yet the order number) but the competition trying to make us a bad name.
WE SUSPECT THAT THIS IS A FALSE SCAM REPORT.

We shipped your order 926212 on the 10th of April 2013, we have just resent an email with the tracking. If you do not see the email in your inbox please check your spam folder just in case it was sent there by mistake. We are sorry for the delay shipping your order but we had to obtain the stock from the importer, the product you ordered is not usually requested by other customers.

You can track the package on www.correos.es (they have english version also) and most probably in your local mail system also.

Please, once resolved the issue we would appreciate if you update this thread so others know that we are not a scam.

If you do not hear from us by Monday please change to an alternative product by placing a new order and indicating in the comment field that it replaces order 923006 so we transfer the funds to the new order. I placed an order with e-tobaccos.com at the beginning of April. I spent over 300€ including 2-3 day shipping. After not receiving my order I tried contacting customer service via email because they do not provide a phone. They never responded until I threatened contacting my bank and cancelling the payment. Finally after more then a month of not receiving my order a customer service rep contacted me saying he would process my order, and that it was their fault it had taken so long because an "employee had made a mistake". I received my order mid May - a month and a half after placing the order. When I opened the box only 10 of the 30 tins of tobacco were delivered! I have since tried to contact them to receive the rest of my order but have gotten no response.

I am furious that the company has stolen 200 € from me and are now not contacting me. I will be forced to contact the fraud department and contact my bank if I do not received any response in the next few days.

Maybe everyone should realize that it's not e-tobaccos fault hat our Governments Customs and Border protection departments are TO BLAME, I've used e-tobacco for years and it takes a few weeks but my tobacco arrived each time. Now/Today I try to log onto the site and my Government have blocked it... Now I have to suffer with the same rubbish that Japan Tobacco have been substituting for Old Holborn since the Aus Gov brought in Plain Packaging laws..

Blame the Governments for stealing your Tobacco at the Border.

re - non delivery of cigars by E-Tobaccos
At last my complaint has been resolved! I have received my full order, in excellent condition.

I finally tried emailing in Spanish (probably gave them all a good laugh) - thinking that I would be more likely to have my email catch their eye if it was in their own language. Don't know if it was that that did the trick, but the nex day I received notification that my 2nd part of the order had been shipped. Also, I received nice note in Spanish, to explain that the size of the order had meant it had to be shipped in 2 parts. Whether this was true or not, I don't care!

I've now dealt with them 3 times, and only had problems at all this last time (Sept2012). So will I use them again? The jury's out!

E-Tobaccos.com Unreliable or Scam

I have ordered tobacco from e-tobaccos and am deeply disappointed. I have made a bank transfer which has been debited from my account on the 18th of June 2012. I ordered a product which according to e-tobaccos "Availability Very high. Usually ships in 24 hours" After long delays, my order status never changing from bank transfer pending and a total of 18 ignored emails i searched the net and have found literally hundreds of complaints on forums, boards etc... It appears that the only way that you can actually get what you have paid for is by complaining on-line before they actually do anything. I have had 108.98euro stolen from me by e-tobaccos. Don't buy anything from them.

E-Tobaccos.com Took my money - no goods. Four weeks!

I visited e-tobaccos.com around christmas time and decided to place an order due to their promises of "2-3 days delivery guaranteed" and "all orders confirmed within 2 days", so I put the order through around 26th/27th of december and was delighted not to get an Out-Of-Office or a Christmas Holidays notice, I naturally assumed that this business was so dedicated that they were sending their wares off within the christmas holidays.

I waited a few days and saw that the order was still "pending" so decided to purchase my tobaccos elsewhere, after three or four days I sent them an email stating I was no longer interested in the business and requesting that they do not follow my order through.

Around the 9th of January, at least two full weeks after I placed the order, I recieved an email stating "payment recieved", to which I emailled asking why they have charged me after my request to cancel the order, several days later I recieved another note from them, ignoring my requests to cancel the order and stating that they were out of "Mynheer" tobacco, the reason why I chose to use e-tobaccos aside from their stated timeframes and accolades as displayed on their website.

On emailling them back, having a third request to cancel the order, I stand over £100GBP out of pocket and it has been a full four weeks since I placed the intial order.

To think that they not only displayed the stock on their website as available and purchasable, but that they cashed my order, not only after repeated requests for them not to, and with them not even having the stock in or checked as available is absolutely insane.

It has it displayed on their website that "any complaints have to be taken up at a Spanish court of law". As ridiculous as this seems, a flight to Spain costs less than what i've spent on this order and I can bring it up in the small claims court that my travel fees will have to be paid by e-tobaccos, which makes sense. These proceedings are the ones I will take if my order is not cancelled and full and my money returned to me.

For bank fees, since I cancelled my order, spent my money to buy tobacco elsewhere, and you charged me for the order. Then the bank charged me £80 for going overdrawn.

You guys are absolute rip off merchants and if you were a UK company I would have reported you to trading standards by now.

I do not want a 10% discount. I hope this message warns other people off ever using rip off merchants such as yourselves.

I was refunded after a further four weeks, but had some severe bank fees and am now £80 out of pocket. Really not a good resolution whatsoever. If you could compensate me it would be nice...

This site is a scam, £395.00 pounds taken out of my account, no delivery, they return your emails with no results, checked on the web, many more have been caught. thier site looks very professional.why do we forget to check sites out before hand.

E-Tobaccos.com stolen money

I ordered tobacco for 113.- EUR in December 2010, and transferred the amount to the owners bank, Mr. J.M.Galet, Open Bank Santander Consumer S.a. in Madrid December the 14th. The company did not send the goods, and it seems to be a policy not to answer e-mail requests. Instead of answers, the companys e-mail system generates "troble tickets" stating that they will deal with the question within 48 hours. However, no answer are forwarded. After I threatened to file complaints against Mr. J.M.Galet and against e-tobaccos.com, I actually received an answer from Mr. Felipe Fernandez the 1st of February 2011, stating that they are unable to deliver a part of my order and that they would like to have instructions on how to proceed. This is very interesting, because it shows that the mails are read, but the company simply do not answer them, at least not until someone threatens with official complaints against their owner! I instructed the company to send the goods and to exchange the undeliverable goods with another product. And guess what? They again refuse to answer my mails! Even if they ask me for instructions, which Mr. Fernandez also does in this forum, THEY NEVER ANSWER which makes in impossible to communicate with the company. I have now asked for the delivery several times without any reaction from e-tobaccos.com. I have also discovered that Mr. J.M.Galet operates a wine export company, AporVino, which has a home page with exactly the same design as e-tobaccos.com. I would not trust any of these two companys, and I want to warn all readers for Mr. J.M.Galets scam business! And just in case Mr. Fernandez would surface in this forum again, asking for information: My order number is 913467. Please send the goods, just exchange the undeliverables with a comparable product! 2 days after filing this complaint report, Mr. J.M.Galet sent me an e-mail and apologized for my inconvenience. My order was immediately put together and shipped and I received my goods today!

E-Tobaccos.com Money taken, but goods not received

I have traded with this company on three occassions, twice last year and had no problem in receiving the goods I ordered, but unfortunately the goods I ordered in July 2017 have not been not been delivered although the money has been taken from my account.

They are completely ignoring my e-mails. So I am going to contact my bank with a view of hopefully getting my money back, but unfortunately I don't know how successful I will be, as I paid by my debit card, whereas if I had paid by a credit card, I know I would have had a chance.

Personal experience, I know I never learn.

I bought tobacco in e-tobacco.com and I feel absolutely disgusted as a customer.

I made a €173.83 order on 27/02/2017 (Order #931830) and made the payment in the same day. They accused that the payment was received on 04/03/2017.

Since then, I have sent several e-mails to them and none of them were answered. The order status was changed on 12/03/2017 to "Waiting for Stock Soon", which pissed me off so bad, because when I bought the tobacco, the website was showing it as "item available in stock". Since then, no one answers my e-mails, no updates whatsoever.

It's been 22 days already since I placed the order and it was supposed to be delivered between 2-3 days after the payment was received, according to the shipping section in their website.

I feel absolutely disgusted by this situation, I don't know if I am ever going to receive the items. This guy Felipe Fernandez was extremely helpful when I asked for some information regarding the payments, but after the payment was received, he simply ignores my e-mails. So typical.

I'm afraid it seems to be a SCAM, made by people who should not be considered a serious company.

I ordered on 31 July tobacco (value 130, -- EUR). I recieved the confermation mail with the information that https://e-tobaccos.com will withdraw part of the total value 50, --) from the given CC T he transaction were charged under the name “ICI” on my VISA card - i replyed to https://e-tobaccos.com with all the requested details.. So far (mid of September)I have not received any delivery
since mid of August i wrote several e-mails to https://e-tobaccos.com and did not yet received any reply. Last email sent a week ago.
I do not recommened this site at all.

i paid over 350.00 for a box of cigars from e-tobaccos.com and never got them. they don't answer any e-mail no matter how many you send. they sent a usps tracking number and all the number states is that they are getting ready to ship the item. this has gone on for over a month and no answers from any of my e-mails to them. the funny thing is when i used them back in 2017 they were ok. i guess all this fraud started a couple years ago with them. i wish i would have read all the complaints about them first before i placed and paid for my recent order. beware of this company i hope somebody stops them real soon before more people get burned.

As many others who have done business with this internet company, they promise and promise and then lie. They are very slow to answer emails and then the information they give you is false. After a threatening email to write about them on sites like this, i received an email that my order was shipped out via fedex. When i checked the tracking number the order had been cancelled for shipment by the seller. If I had read these postings prior to making my order, I would have never done business with this company. By reading the complaints against e-tobaccos.com on this and many other complaint sites i don't think this repetitive behavior can be chalked up to poor service. I have placed successful orders with e-Tobaccos (Order #915722 (Delivered UPS) (Order #916579 (Delivered UPS) and (Order #917258 (Delivered UPS). Unfortunately Order #917258 delivered on the 20th July was 100 cigars short.
Ever though you get an automated email back from their customer service stating they will deal with you in 48hr this is hardly ever the case. So far I have waited one week and still no reply.
This is an area that they need to improve as it will put people off from placing future orders.

E-Tobaccos.com Big scam

I am a victim of the on line scam e-tobaccos.com. I ordered more than $250 cigarettes from https://e-tobaccos.com / and the transaction were charged under the name & ldquo;ici” on my visa card. So far, at the end of mar, I have not received any delivery and product from them, in addition, they have neither physical address nor contact phone number except [protected]@e-tobaccos.com email. Once they received your money, they almost ignored all my emails regarding to the order. So frustration, I also demand to refund my money if they can’t deliver the product. Today, they respond that they just refund the money to mu visa card, guess what, I called credit card card customer service and verified that there were no money refunded into my account. This is obviously one of the on line scams. The e-tobaccos is located in spain. I already report to international authorities they will come knocking on e-tobaccos.com door someday. Please do not ne a victim like I am and please do not believe anything they said on their web page

I have used e-tobaccos for some years and although their customer service is dreadful they have always delivered my order, until now. Order placed 27th June, money drawn on the 2nd. August, no goods. Two e-mails to customer service ( ? ) elicites automatic response e-mails with a ticket number but no information. Maybe their computer decides who to rip off and when. As previously noted it is impossible to find an address or a telephone number.

E-tobaccos is the worst company to deal with for online purchasing.
UPDATE 2015

They don't have the products in stock. My first order took 8 weeks to arrive - after paying 20 euro fast shipping. That's the first con!
My second order - again, not in stock despite telling me it was. Wait for 9 weeks for them to get it in stock - which they claim they get deliveries 2 time a week - still my order isn't in stock.
So i change my order for something THEY SAID was in stock.
The i am told for 3 weeks - they are 'processing' my order...yeah right.
How long does it take to put items in a box and send out to the purchaser?

I then ask for a refund - they say they will refund me - when i ask when it was refunded as nothing has shown in my account for 2 weeks - NOW they IGNORE ALL MY EMAILS.

I will sue the ### off of this company, and they'll have to pay my legal expenses when i win, which i will, i've had to do this before with online thieves, this is an open and shut case of trade fraud.
I don't care if it was for 1 euro they stole from me.
They are going down...and i'll do it single-handedly.
It is an open and shut case of online FRAUD, THEFT, and MONEY-LAUNDERING, (all those orders that are paid for - the money sitting in a high interest account for a couple of months while they fob people off that their order is processing)

E-TOBACCOS - YOU HAVE A LEGAL DUTY TO OPERATE IN A LEGAL MANNER - YOU ARE THIEVES AND CON-ARTISTS AND DELAY ORDERS TO REAP INTEREST ON PAYMENTS RECEIVED.
YOU WILL BE HEARING FROM THE AUTHORITIES.

I have used e-tobaccoes. Numerous time and although they are slow they have never let me done. Remember they are a company and not a scam. I live in Australia. If it gets stopped at customs. I just pay the customs charge. It works out the same as buying nice tobbacco at the same price as if I bought the nasty horrible tobacco here in Australia. All you lot do is complain when they have a few delay or stock problems. But I don't see you putting anything good for all the times that the you get what you wanted. Abit of positive feedback goes a long way. Not just negative. I have an order in at the moment. And I know the site is down at the moment. My order will be shipped when they get the chance but as they have said they are having staff and supply problems. So get off there backs. And support the only company that is not a scam for cheaper tobacco than you can buy in the shops. RANT OVER. ian_minney@hotmail.com

I placed an order at E-Tobaccos.com a month ago (40 bags of 25gr tobacco). The first response to my order was that it was "out of stock". I decided to research the trustworthiness of this e-company. When I read all this complains I was thinking that I lost my money...
When I started sending e-mails to the company, they answered immediately, and finally, I received the correct order, perfectly packed, at my address in Greece.
Although it took about a month to receive my order, e-tobaccos.com delivered the products perfectly and thus, I believe that it is a legit and trustworthy company.
Therefore, care should be taken to the validity of all the complains (found on various blogs).
Finally, I thought it was my obligation to post my experience and when I tried to do so, some blogs (eg. scam.com) did not allow me to, even after my registration.

I got an email from then saying that they were out of stock with the items I previously ordered: order number 934101, so I asked them to change my order to #934544 instead and cancel the previous one. I have been waiting far too long for those... I have already paid and therefore asked them to please give my order a high priority.

Also for some reason Order #934544 has been duplicated I only ordered 9 x Villiger Premium Whisky Filter 10 x 5 Mini Cigars not 9 Villiger Premium Sumatra Class 10 x 5 Mini Cigars not sure how or why those got added to my order, rubbish website…

I then got emails for Order #934544 saying: 17/10/201 Waiting for Payment transferwise.com/pay/…

They have done nothing and I’m not able to change anything on their site! I have already sent payment to cover 9 x Villiger Premium Whisky Filter 10 x 5 Mini Cigars and I have emailed the sales team to please send them now!

I have been waiting a month for an order which should have been delivered in five days but I just get more requests for money for the new order. When I looked on CC statement, I noticed that they are listed as e-commerce training! If they are legitimate, as they claim to be, then why do they claim to be a trainer? I’m having them investigated by Barclay Card and have asked Barclay Card to cancel my order and return my money.

I came across this website over a month ago, it looks/feels legit but trust me its anything but! I was impressed with the product range & prices so I went ahead and made a purchase. Having received an automated email informing me my order was in stock and had shipped I assumed i could expect delivery within the 4 working days. 6 working days pass so I decide to email them as there is no other point of contact or address (which is strange). No response after 2 days so countless emails later and still no response I realise I've been scammed. I did a bit of digging online and there are tonnes of people out there who have been duped by this crowd, in some cases people have lost over €1000! If you've been conned by E-Tobaccos please share you experiences and spread the word.

Likewise, after 6 weeks of waiting for a 200 Euro delivery of cigars for my wedding, nothing has arrived. Escalation to customer service is fruitless and ignored. I believe this website to be a scam and recommend anyone to stay clear. Chris M

I used to think e-tobaccos was fantastic, but like other people I too have been scammed out of my money. Their website said guaranteed delivery and I never received my product. There was a tracking number and it appeared to make it part way here but was sent back without explanation.

At first they tried to help but they have now ignored my last four e-mails.

Whatever happened, I didn't receive my order however they have my money - over $200.00

It's a cowards way to ignore people, and I wouldn't advise ANYONE to ever use this company.

Ordered tobacco but they couldn't supply the brand I required so they asked if I would order a different brand, which I did. I then got an email saying they couldn't supply this brand either and did I want a refund. This is over two months ago, no tobacco and no refund. I have sent hundreds of emails and faxes but they never answer. Help please.
