Cheap Owners
If you are looking for a place to rent where you do your own yard work and if you cant stand the long grass you try to cut it yourself or you want to leave for work when its raining and your gutters are flooding over your front door! Or if you want to lose your car in a pothole in the parking lot.Or you could get a discount on your rent for an apartment with no carpet. Or in the winter you can skate out to your car on 5 inches of ice, and then shovel your car out. And your rent goes up every year. Sound good to you. Go to any property owned by Empirian Property Management.

Sexual Perdator
I have lived at this complex for a while now. One of the first things I noticed was the creepy old bald guy that always came out of nowhere whenever I left my apartment. At first I thought it was just me...but after talking to a few of my neighbors I realized it wasn't. It has gotten to the point where I don't even want to use my patio for fear of the creep lurking. There have been complaints about him but nothing seems to be getting done about it. If this company is ok with a sexual predator living on it's property and doesn't care about the other residents saftey then I want nothing else to do with them! When my lease is up if he is still here I can guarantee I won't be! So to any women out there...single or not...thinking of renting here- I would make sure to ask if the creep still lives here before signing a lease!

This is the problem. They can't just throw someone out. If these residents would have filed a complaint with the police department that would have given the management team a way to evict him. When no one speaks up it helps no one.
I would agree with the first comment. I recently moved away partly because I was sick of being followed around the property by him. 95 percent of the ladies I have talked to there are creeped out by him. And most of the men I talked to while I lived there think he's gay. If any of you single ladies are thinking about moving in the watch out for Mr short shorts!
How do you know he's a sexual predator? U should have ur information straight as this could harm someone badly
Horrible customer service
The usual leasing manager is out on maternity leave. The 2 they have running the office while she is out have no idea how to relate to people and are extremely rude and not helpful. Not to mention that you can never get a hold of anyone in the office-if they even bother to show up during scheduled hours they are too busy talking on their cell phones to even notice you walked in the door. Whomever hired these 2 clearly had no idea what to look for in an employee. If you are looking to rent here wait until the usual leasing manager is back or contact the maintenance crew-you'll have better luck with them. At least they are friendly and know what's going on.

This is by far the worst apartment managememt I have ever lived in! The women in front michelle couldnt tell the truth if her life depended on it and is the most unprofessional property manager ever I mean come on a f ing 2 year old could do a better job! Not to mention if u need something fixed dont hold your breath! I resently went out and got renters insurence due to the fact that my hall light fixture popping and blue sparks flying out of it! I removed all screens from my windows awaiting a fire while sleeping so as I will have a quick escape. I also wonder why my r re nt continues to increase but maintainence and yard care decrease?! Maybe when this place finally burns down and it wont be long it will get fat michelle and the rest of these primates to get off of their hind ends and do something. Tell everyone spread the word dont let anyone get stuck in a lease with this slimeball crooked company!
Having used to work there, well not at your community, I knew all too well of the 'secrets'... I was asked & expected to do unethical things, somehow try to make $100 in repairs with a $5.00 bill, and then do it all over again at 3 other communities.
You said it right though with the "Cardinal Modular"... A hotel Heater/AC that's "make-shifted" to blow into the bedrooms? Nice old wallpaper/windows... Were you lucky and got Plush carpet or did you get stuck with the berber? OH let us not forget the old gray piping running through most units that has more fittings to repair leaks than actual "pipe". As for those "walls of mold" - that's that GREAT wallpaper for ya! Or any other number of things that have likely been left to rot away for a decade. Electrical nightmares, appliances older than me, just overall years of neglect. Add all that up & then put it up against a FAR from realistic budget to get it all done (AND DONE RIGHT)? That is asking WAYYYYYYYY too much! Much cheaper to throw a tarp over a leaking roof or better yet, just put a bucket in the attic - no one will go up there!
Never understood how they expected to have a champagne lifestyle on a draft-beer budget! Get it done, get it done quick, get it done cheap. As for those who already live there? Well - they come last; gotta ensure occupancy is as high as it can be before taking care of those ALREADY PAYING!
Boy this sure hit me the wrong way... Obviously some things DO NOT change.

the company owes me 8000.00 from 2009 and don't return emails or pay they have reall screwed me my family my business they treat peole like dirt

My rent increased by 5% every year! This was not discussed when signing the lease orginally. After I signed my second year to the apartment they told me that my rent had increased and I was unable to reject the lease the same day i signed it so I was stuck paying another year with an increase in rent.
I also had to have maintance fix my shower, garbage disposal, fans and fill holes in order to keep mice out.
This company is not forcoming with how they do buisness, be very careful.

IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO STAR RATING I WOULD...MY CAR HAS BEEN BROKEN INTO 3 TIMES IN 5 MONTHS (costing me over an extra 1000 dollars to live here)...DOG ### EVERYWHERE...COLD AND DRAFTY...AND MANAGEMENT DOES CARE ABOUT YOU AS LONG AS THEY GET PAID...DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE AND MOVE HERE LIKE I DID...LEASE IS UP THE END OF MARCH AND I'M OUT!

This company owes me money that was due 10-21 business days and it been 2 months do you any management telephone numbers or names that I could complain to.

To say that the parent company is not at all involved in management is an understatement. The property manager is horrible - to the point that she was looking in my windows. The rent is ridiculous - the highest in the area for comparable units. There are NO amenities - thus no reason for the higher rent. Maintenance is a joke - an older man by himself who does "patch" jobs. The entrance road is in horrible condition - if you check the place out be VERY careful driving in.
