Eye Glass World eye glasses

I was having trouble with my vision went there they did an eye exam ! Then ask do you want glasses ? I ask is what the problem is !here comment yes ! I spent $400 on two pair got all the extras ! Got my glasses still could not see at work . Called them they said you have to get used to them ! I head on the radio 20/20 had a free eye exam went there ! The doctor took a look at my eyes and said "If I can't see in you can't see out ! " He wrote cataracts on the sheet told me to find a doctor that does cataracts ! Took the glasses to eye glass world they through them in the trash ! never got a dime back !

Eye Glass World Bait and Switch

Bait and switch says it all. I went to the Savanna, Ga store because my wife saw the sign that says 2 pair for $78. We drove an hour to get there, an hour home. My glasses suck, now I have to drive 2 more hours to take them back. It'll take 7 day to make the lenses that I want, and then I have to drive 2 more hours to pick them up, so now I have 6 hours & $276 in a pair of glasses that I hate.

I said that I did not want progressive lenses, the sales person said that it's all they have in stock and he would switch them out if I did not like them, so Monday morning I will switch them out. Then wait 7 days to have them made and then drive back over to Savannah to pick them up. When I went back to pick them up they were just handed to me and not even fitted to my head.
I should of just gone to the local eyeglass place and spent the extra money (and not really that much more) and gotten what I wanted instead of what was pushed on me by the sales person. I would of had personalized local service that I can take them to be fixed when bent, lose or broken instead of having to drive 2 hours round trip to have them repaired at Eye Glass World.

I wish I had listened to my inerself and not bought them at Eye Glass World.

Eye Glass World Refusal to issue refund of overpayment

Husband purchased a pair of glass at Eye Glass World in Evansville, IN in December, 2017. Paid for the glasses before leaving and filed a claim with our insurance. Our insurance company paid Eye Glass World instead of us. I called the day they received the check and they claimed they had to forward it to their home office where they would issue a refund. After calling their home office (Vision Care Holdings) every week since then, I have been transferred to 4 different numbers. They have been bought out by National Vision and they are about as consumer friendly as Vision Care Holding. Two months of frustration and still no check.

I received eye glasses on 12/12/08. They charged me for bifocals, which was incorrect, therefore they remade my glasses for single vision, but they charged to my credit card the amount for bifocals. Therefore they were supposed to refund me $30.00. I kept calling store because they never refunded me, so about 3 weeks ago, the store said they did everything on there part, for me to call customer service at [protected] which I did and left message but no one ever called me back.

Report them to the insurance company. That is insurance fraud and a federal felony offense.
