unprofessional mail delivery service
Packages that have been opened and delivered, broken. We hate to order anything that we have concerns the items can be broken. We videotaped one postman trying to drop the contents of an open package on the front walk, because he didn't want to come in the gate. We filed a complaint. Nothing was done.
Poking holes in our sealed medication bags to see if it is worth steeling. A package left behind the post office out in the rain on a Sunday, dripping wet when I picked it up at the post office.
Again our mail is going to the neighbors so the bills will be late and we will have to explain why. We are sure we will hear more complaints about the postal service here. We do not receive our mail for weeks. No paper sale ads. We know for a fact one of the deliverers can't read numbers and just sticks any mail she needs to dispose of in our box or neighbor's boxes no matter whom it belongs to. We've received mail from over 2 miles away.
When we had to go out of town last year, we put a stop on our mail. When we returned our locked box was crammed full of our mail and papers. At the post office they told us to have a neighbor pick up our mail. This was after we took pictures of neighbors in our mailbox, looking to steal our mail. We complained, nothing was done because there was no mail the day they came over and got into our mailbox.
There doesn't seem to be any responsibility or concern about the mail some of these postal workers employed here are responsible for delivering.
Obviously there is no such thing as professionalism with this postal service here. They believe the laws don't pertain to them: Stealing, destruction of property and the communist retaliation against those who use their freedom of speech to try and repair an unprofessional service.
Just ask anyone living in this area, and I am sure they will tell you about the crappy service the paid nonprofessionals that are employed to deliver our mail because we have no other choice to hire a professional, decent, moral, responsible service here.
We are sure there will be retaliation for this complaint. We hope to video tape, take pictures, whatever we have to do to get an investigation done here to stop this problem we have been forced to deal with for over 15 years.
We are again waiting for a response from a supervisor.
Lost packages
I have sent out many many packages over the years (35). I have an online store. Recently, my mail carrier (Larry) took two outgoing packages from me.
They both completely disappeared. They were not scanned, they never reached their destination.
I spoke to Jose. Never called me back. I called several times after that and also got nowhere.
I spoke to Richard who after a month of putting up with this crap, actually told me today that this was all my fault. How lovely.
The customer screwed up. Gee, not the mail carrier who stole the two packages? It wasn't just one package. It was both of them. Poof! Gone from the face of the Earth.
Apparently, I should give my mail carrier anything outgoing. Lol
I will be contacting the supervisor of Richard who was a complete idiot and could care less about the customer who have to go through this.
