SENT A BOGUS BILL FOR TONER
Apparently, this vendor is collecting toner information from
Rj young... (as well as your business name / address).. (a large copier/printer seller) then trying to submit invoices to your business for toner supplies even including a shipping charge.
Speak to your it dept and they will tell you it's a fraudulent charge
Rj young pays for all of our toner supplies... Duhhhhhhh!

Invoices for products not ordered
We were invoiced $485.09 for a toner cartridge that we did not order but that they shipped to us. We have talked to Carlos twice and each time we have been told that an RMA would be faxed to us. We have also been told that the invoice was canceled. Today I received a copy of it which says states on the back side of the invoice that I have 3 days to contact them to cancel it. This was not included on the copy encolsed with the toner. These people appear to be nothing more than scam artist.
Now that I have received the invoice that has the legal terms of the sale on it. I will be faxing them a cancellation notice, sending one via the USPS as registered mail. If they do not come clean, then I will have our California Attorneys go after them in court.
Toner
I see that there are quite a few complaints against IDC. Don't worry about them. We have +/-2500 locations, and here's how we handle them. Our retail locations are not authorized to purchase anything that is not on a national contract. If by chance they do get suckered in, I call IDC and tell them to issue a call tag (IDC pays the return freight) to have the product picked up, because they are not an authorized vendor. They claim they have a signed order from someone at the location (and they usually do). I still tell them to send a call tag, as we will not pay for it. They usually threaten, want to speak to the CFO, etc., but I stick to my request for a call tag. They then try to charge a "restocking" charge, which I refuse to pay. At that point, I tell them that they can issue the call tag, have the product picked up, and issue a full credit, because we will NEVER pay for it. They can be a good way to blow off a little steam when you're having a bad day.
Billing for unauthorized orders
I am the CIO here at our marketing firm and was alarmed when I saw a package on my desk containing 4 toner cartridges for $350 a piece plus $160 for shipping. What's more alarming about this is we don't even own this type of device.
I immediately called the company on the top of the invoice - IDCSERVCO. They seem legitimate enough and explained that they were only performing the billing portion of the order and that it was distributed by West Coast Distribution. So it seems that they are only half guilty... it seems.
Going back a bit, I am the new CIO here. I see that we have paid them well over $5000 in the last year and half for goods that we never ordered, but no one here knew the wiser as there we very lax ordering policies in the IT department until I got here. According to the secretary, she tried to cancel these ordered previously and was denied an told "We HAVE to take these orders because we entered into a contract". A contract that no one can find, including IDCSERVCO.
I have been on the phone with IDCSERVECO for a good amount of the day and every time they will "get back to me". They did let me in the mean time call West Coast Distribution and the number they provided for me seemed to be someone's cell phone number. Really? I mean, even laundromats have an answering machine.
That message on the cell phone was later returned with a call from Rhonda whom completely contradicted what our secretary said and said that was not possible. However we will "get this matter cleared up tomorrow". I am actually excited to come in the office tomorrow and here this one - will keep you updated!
Well, I cant get a credit for everything that the company has already purchased since I wasn't here when it happened. But my persistent phone calls prevailed and the current invoice was canceled, the unauthorized shipment was sent back to them on their dime, and I did inform them that the next time this happens that I wont be calling them first, I'll be calling the police. Unauthorized invoicing is illegal (not the exact legal term for it, but you get the gist)
Funny - I haven't heard back from them since!
Everyone raise your glasses up high - people that WORK FOR A LIVING have won one!

Help! I am going through the same thing, what is going on with the situation now?
Thanks!
fraud
Company sent my clinic one HP laser jet cartridge that I did not order. Included was an invoice for $557.76. (Normally priced $67.00) Obviously this is a total scam and there are multiple previous complaints. Does anyone know who to contact on an official level?

The company/companies that use IDCSERVO move around a lot. After a brief search I found multiple addresses and company names. All with same common toner scam. Here's the latest I received yesterday... "Quality Supply Center" 13428 Maxella Ave. #485, Marina del Rey, CA 90292. A search of the strip-mall/shopping center at this address shows no "Quality Supply Center" there... maybe it's just not listed.. fraudulent business aren't always listed with legit ones.
This company is a total scam charging 600 dollars for a toner and
pretend that they are xerox company. Consumers Beware. These
people are trying to scam a non profit organization.
Fraudulent billing
They billed us $804 for a $100 toner cartridge that we never ordered and never even received! I spoke to "Alice" who cliamed that we did fax them the order, and that she would fax me the proof. She never did. Alice's mother would be ashamed if she knew what her daughter did for a living.

A few months ago a woman claiming she was from Konica Minolta called to tell me that our toner prices were going up, and that they failed to send a notice in the mail. She said she could supply me with toner to last into the new year at the same price we're paying now. I believed her, and she had some guy fax over a confirmation. I got the fax, and at the...

I was at one of our clinic when Janice called from SUPERIOR OFFICE PRODUCTS (IDCSERVCO) telling our clinic manager that she was shipping the order of the year supply of toner for our copier that we had ordered back in Feb. of 2007 by a person that hadn't worked for our company for the past 2 years. I caught wind of the conversation and interrupted the call and talked to this Janice who said that we had placed the order and that if we canceled it that we be have to pay the full amount of the year supply of toner instead of the discounted price that we were offered now. Janice then said that this person that had approved the order had signed the contract back in Feb. of 2007 which I informed Janice that was impossible since that person hadn't work for the company at that time. She then informed me that I would have to write cancel on the faxed sheet and fax it back to her. I faxed the canceled fax immediately.

Shame on these people. They are truly outrageous. A company I work for has also dealt with their toner scam. It makes me sick that they can get away with this. They have also called and asked for the number on our copier. When I start to question them, they hang up. This happens twice a month, at least. We need to bring them down!
Wow, I should have done some research. This just happened to me about an hour ago. I was getting some weird phone calls about our copier, and at first I didn't think too much of it because we are getting ours replaced soon. But all of a sudden I get a phone call from "rachel" talking to me about toner ordering. At first she told me that I was an "order on demand" scheduled client so if I ever needed ink, to call. I said okay. Days later I get a phone call from "bob" in the warehouse waiting for my confirmation on a toner order. I told him no, I didn't want any. That same day I get a box in the mail with the toner and an invoice for $493! I've purchased these for a previous company I worked for and they were anywhere between $50-125, just like someone previously had said. This is a total scam. I called IDSERV at first and the "operator" told me they were busy and someone would call me back. I called back myself about a half hour later and was told by the "operator", who sounded like she was cooking by a stove, that "Stephanie" would assist me. "Stephanie" was nice enough when I told her I don't recall ordering this and want it canceled and shipped back. She told me should would have a UPS person pick it up with a label. We shall see. I kept a copy of the invoice and left the original with "cancel" and "return" on it in the box. I'm going to keep an eye on this very closely and call every day until they pick this up.
Do NOT let even one person in your company talk to these people. Just know that if you haven't ordered toner, than it is probably a lie. Ask for a call back number and say that you already have a company that you do business with. They will tell you that a person from your company ordered it a year or so ago and you are now required to complete to avoid being backcharged. Don't believe them, this is a lie. Oh, by the way, they have a BBB rating of an F.
IDC is not a scam you just have dumb ppl in your offices that don't know what they're doing and order the ink with out knowing they're under a contract get smarter ppl in your office and stop complaining
I, unfortunately, fell for this scam and signed the fax that was sent to me. After receiving a fishy looking invoice, however, I checked into these guys and found out what a scam they are! So I filed a complaint with the BBB and the Attorney General of California. NOW both IDCSERVco and Turner Supplies are harassing me with follow up phone calls saying that "Well - you signed the form! It clearly states on it..." blah blah blah. I've returned the toner and the unpaid invoice via registered mail and will now start screening their calls. What pisses me off the most now is that these follow-up calls are wasting my time, and I absolutely DO NOT believe they have any REAL intent on changing their fraudelent business practices. How can these guys still be in business!?! Seriously - complete lack of any moral character - I wonder what these people are like in real life...
These people contacted me about 5 times last week, and finally emailed me a form to fill out and fax back. I didn't think anything was up because they asked for me by name when they called (I'm the contact with our current provider), and they knew my address, first and last name, email address, and the toner model. Unless someone else had spoken to them before they called and got me, I have no idea how they obtained this information. I didn't even question any of this until I got a call from another company trying to claim the same sort of thing. I am a little upset with myself for falling for the scam, but have yet to receive my product. I have instructed the other office workers to refuse the package if/when it comes. I did not issue a PO# for the toner, and we are a rather large company, so I know they will not get paid. Once I do receive the cartridge, I do plan on reporting them to the FTC and I will fax them a letter to inform them of this. Thank you all for your information. I really should have known better, but it was very convincing :(
I've been working at my current job for about 5 months. IDC has sent us toner that would last us for 3 years. When I asked my manager about all of this overpriced toner we were receiving, he said a receptionist from a long time ago entered into a contract (this was when I first started working here) and that the contract should be ending soon. Fast forward to today, the contact from IDC kept on trying to get a hold of my manager for weeks. I would try and take a message and he wouldn’t leave one, saying that he doesn’t have a contact number. I thought this was weird. We got the shipment today and the total for 10 cartridges came out to $4, 000. I finally googled them and here they are on this site. We’re sending the shipment back without contacting them and we’ll deal with them when we have to. This is robbery and I can’t believe my manager has been letting this go on for years.
I used to work for Superior Office Products in Clearlake, CA from 03/07-06/07. I did not know what I was getting myself into! You all have been scamed not because you are on a "Calling List" it is because you are in a telephone book! They get your number out of the phone book and call small, non-frachise companies and tell you phony stories about being from customer service of your copier. It is all scripted and all the so called prices are fake! They have model numbers on the computer and once you give them the model number it gives fake high prices to tell you. I do apoligize if I have gotten any of you to buy their products. Like I said I DID NOT KNOW what I was getting into. In fact, I can't find the company in Clearlake anymore, they must have renamed it again and moved. I am deeply sorry. I didn't relize what they were up to until I quit and started reading all these complaints. I hope you find this information useful. Good Luck!
Toner Scam! Beware! A representatives from IDC ServCo called our company and acted like we've been doing business with them for years. "This is a courtesy call. Just wanted to let you know that your toner is going up in price, but if you order now we can still give you the discount rate of $349 a cartridge." Our receptionist assumed this was a deal and took him up on the offer. Next week, she received a call stating that she needed to purchase two more cartridges in order to get the "discount." These low-life thieves called a third time to claim that we were locked in for 6 CARTRIDGES at $349 each! This time, I intercepted the call from "Brad Richardson." We went round and round until I finally told him to take us to court because they weren't going to receive another cent from us! Plus, we didn't have any written or verbal contracts with them so they didn't have a leg to stand on. Also, I told "Brad" that we don't do business with companies who have an "F" rating with the BBB. "Brad" didn't like this very much. But, we haven't heard from him since! Fortunately, we only got stuck with one cartridge and we were able to put a stop pay on the check for the other cartridges. We then sent all the cartridges back to them. FYI I looked online at tonermax.com and the same brand new toner cartridge was only $53.00.
I should have checked this site before speaking with these crooks! I received a call a few months ago from somone stating that we hae always purchased ink from them. Since we were taken over by a different company I did not think it was strange. They said that since they failed to inform us of the rise in toner prices they would ALLOW us to purchase one more at the OLD discounted price. We have now received more toner than we can possibly use this year and an invoice for over $1200! We sent the toner back and luckily found this site before it went any further. Upon calling IDCSERVCO, they claimed to only be a shipping company and gave us a number to CENTRAL SUPPLY WAREHOUSE. These people are scam artists hope they don't claim anymore victims.
