loose diamonds
My husband gave me a Levian Chocolate diamond ring purchased at Macy's for Christmas 2012. Since then, there have been loose diamonds. I've had to take it in twice for repairs. They keep the ring for almost 2 months with each repair. Does anyone know where I can go to get a new ring. I feel this ring is defective. Macys won't give me a refund. They told me to just keep bringing it back to get it repaired.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Inferior Jewelry
I have beautiful LeVian diamond and Tanzanite Ring. 3 months after I got it I had to send it in for repairs on a loose setting. Since that repair I have had to send it in 4 more times because stones have fallen out. (The same ones!) June 04, 2010 Browsing the JB Robinson St. Charles Town Mall Waldorf Maryland a JB sale pregnant lady approach me and said hello; then she ask me if I need help I said no; my sale person is Eric then I ask for her store manager then she said; oh so sorry she no longer work here is been fired; then the following week I came back I have seen her store manager June 15, 2010 then I ask her store manager; oh I thought you were fired then her store manager said what? Then I told her; her pregnant sale lady said she was fired. Then I ask the store manager if she could help me to pick up a ring as my budget only $1800.00 and told her I will be back this weekend with my husband. Came back the JB store manager is off talk to the pregnant sale lady again; and told her I want the ring sale ring up to her store manager since Eric no longer working and the pregnant sale lady said okay but then the following week I came back to the store the sale person number for commission was listed on her number not the store manager then this pregnant sale lady bullying her coworker in front of me. Then she start arguing saying that no one knows how to ring there own sale and then she went on saying no wonder why our company is been cleaning up firing everyone. Then she start talking bad about her store manager which I think is in bad taste to tell all customer about how their store is changing employees and how Eric and other workers are fired. The pregnant sale lady continue bad mouthing her store manager which I feel bad as that is very un-ethical. This pregnant sale lady need help if she does not like her store manager she need to move and transfer to another store or quit as the store manager is very nice and professional. I think this pregnant sale lady is burnt out; she is harassing all her coworker and bullying and stealing sale. I do not believe that she has a bad store manager I think she is as she did not rung up the sale credit to her store manager. Then she said; Jared, Kays, Shaws, JB Robinson is one company so do not worry will get you anything and even get e me a un- used merry coupon money for next purchase if I buy from her. What a bad representation of the company.

Yeah, the JB here in vernon hills I'LL is'nt very professional either. The employees are often seen outside the mall smoking and behaving poorly to people who walk in.

I have been a Macy's customer for many years, but have never experienced such bad Customer Service.I was 2 days late paying my Macys credit card bill, and since then they have lowered my credit line, and they have not credited the 2 additional payments I made online after the one late one. Now, I get a collection letter in the mail threatening to turn my account over to collections if I don't take care of this outstanding, supposedly unpaid balance. Not only have I made my payments, the checks have all cleared the bank. I called Customer Service to see if I could straighten this out, but no luck. The woman I talked to is telling my even though I only have 1 credit account at Macys, theres 3 separate accounts and I am behind on 2 of them. So, I explained to her, I make my payment every month, and I trust Macys to distribute the payment as they see fit. Apparently thats my problem. To make a long story short, she can't/won't help me so she gives me another phone number so Macys can research my payments. Of course, I called that number, theres no one there to take calls, its a recording. I have left 3 messages now and they don't return phone calls. Bottom line is Macys just does not give a ### about there customers. They are not interested in helping you in any way to solve a problem that they obviously caused. They just don't care. I guarantee I won't be shopping there anymore. This doesn't happen at Nordstroms. Macys would be well served to use Nprdstrom business plan.
