I leased a Lexus via Lexus Financial Services (LFS). I went out-of-state for work. Being unfamiliar with the area I was driving, it was dark and as there were no toll booths I didn't realize I'd gone through a toll. Lexus Financial repossesion

We have been customers of Lexus a dealership in for over 17 yrs. Always leased our vehicles and had two cars for most of the yrs until we retired. We then went down to one vehicle but always were in a new vehicle every three years..During the last three yrs our daughters were married and we have had one wedding per year for the past three.Needless to say money was tight and we fell behind in our payments. We went to trade the vehicle in which would have paid off the vehicle and purchase a new one and everything back to normal.No more weddings and no problems with the payments.We were told no on the financing. Even after being loyal customers for all those years and not having any late payments we were still told no.I just needed two weeks until our monies were deposited into our account and I would be able to bring the account up to date and that would have also been a remedy.Toyota told me that I had to turn the vehicle in and that was that. I then recieved a letter from Toyota that the car was in PA and that it was going to be auctioned off and if I wanted the car back I had to pay all the fees and any storage charges. I then recieved a voucher from the dealership that we used stating that they would be interested in buying th car either towards a trade in or just buy the car. It would have been nice if I was told that I had that option prior and could have alleviated a repossessions. After all these yrs the best they could do was tell me no and that it was buisness.At one time they owed us more and we had to wait for that money for over two months.Just does not seem fair..Now what?

If money was tight, why didn't you set your daughter's expectations?

You thinking is flawed!

You screwed up your credit! Factory financing only goes to people with stellar credit. The dealership has no discretion!

Lexus Financial Car

My husband works in Iraq and was sent an alert that 3 men have hacked into several ATM accounts for every person to check with their bank. My husband was not aware that I pay our bills automatically through online billing every month. He thought that he was a victim and immediately reported it to the bank, so the bank fraud department reverses all the money to to Lexus financial, our mortgage payments, all other payments I had set up automatic every month. At this time I'm out of town and when I return that night I am waken by a knock at the door (11:00pm). Two people with a clip board are summoned to take my Lexus RX 350 away. I was so shocked and himiliated.
That next morning I contacted Lexus Financial to explain what had happen to my husband and that he was not aware of the way I pay my bills here and also my husband wrote a letter explaining what happen that it was a honest mistake and misunderstanding. I sent all my bank statements to show that the payments were made up until the accident happen and the money was taken. We had provided documention that we can return the money to be back into good standing. Lexus never contacted me or replied back until I called several times to bring the situation to a close. They refused to consider the accident and said to bad. Now I'm facing a bad report to the credit bureau and no car. All I wanted to do was fix everything and get my car back. I was so happy was Lexus and their customer service until I was treated so poorly and disrespect that all I was left was a broken heart that people can be so mean.
