Luzerne County Children and Youth reviews and complaints

I have been dealing with LCCAY for over a year now. The day the caseworker came he showed up with two police officers DEMANDING I go for a urine test. His whole demeanor, posture, and tone that he took with me instantly came off as aggressive. I was already guilty in his eyes and knew it. The allegations he leveled against me were that I was violent and on and sell drugs. Knowing my rights and just pissed off about the whole show he was putting on I told him to get a warrant if he wanted my urine. My daughter and her mother were there when they came and she was told to leave and go to her mothers and he would be in touch with her shortly.
After getting nowhere with me he proceeded to go to her mothers house and basically threatened her into taking a urine test. She did and she failed it and they immediately put a "safety plan" in place. The safety plan placed the baby with her grandmother who lost her own children including my daughters mother for drug use. I was not offered not even advised of that. I was told I was not to see my daughter AT ALL until I was willing to take the drug test. Eventually I relelnted and took one and passed it. I was then told I had a hearing the VERY NEXT MORNING for them to place my child fully un her mothers care. I told them my lawyer was not able to make it on such short notice and I was told they would provide me with one. I arrived the next day and was appointed one of their pretenders 4 minutes literally before the hearing. I told her I wanted a continuance and that was all she would be able to do for me on such short notice. We went in the room and I had to ask for the continuance which he quickly denied me. It took the pretender they gave me saying that she did not want to represent me due to the fact that she felt she could not properly defend me with only four minutes to prepare. It was granted reluctantly..
Then came the hearing date with my paid lawyer and guess what, all charges were ruled unfounded and they dropped all charges. They advised my kids mom to not allow me access to the child. And upon leaving that hearing I was FINALLY given the first piece of paperwork from them. To this very day they have harassed me with wanting more tests even though I passed the one before. They dismissed everything against my the very same day as mine even though she was to complete 16 weeks of outpatient rehab which she refused to attend. In total she failed two tests and refused treatment and STILL was granted the child. In the past 6 mos I have seen my daughter 3hours total. And they still want me to go for more tests. I relied with I am not allowed to see her so why should I take anything as her mom was advised to not allow me access to her. Now everything has been quiet I still havent seen her and for 3 MONTHS I have been trying to get a copy of my casefile. I've gotten the run around for the them since I asked for it. I've been told it's at legal and just not returned yet. They have not returned calls for weeks at a time though I called every day. Now I am being told it's a cps case and still have not gotten anything. MORAL OF THE STORY IS LCCAY IS A JOKE RUN BY PEOPLE WHO HAVE THEIR OWN AGENDA EITHER BASED ON MONEY OR FAVORS FOR FRIENDS. They are corrupt as hell and I'm looking for an attorney to represent me in a case suing them for a multitude of procedural violations. The only problem lies in the fact that alot of the lawyers including ones fighting g them are in bed with them so it's not been an easy road but j wknt give up and it makes me wonder how many people they have done this to. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
