Nobelcom.com Fraud

I was just chatting a few minutes ago with one of their customer service representative. This morning I purchased a $20 phone card from them. After getting it I immediately used it to place a call in the Philippines. After two minutes of talking the line got cut off. I was used to it because I was calling a mobile phone and sometimes the signal there's not that good so I tried calling back. But when I dialed the local access number I couldn't get through anymore. After a few more times of dialing and not getting through, I tried logging in to their website to check out other numbers to call. But their website was down too! So I checked my email to see if they provided another number there and I called the toll-free number here in Canada. But what greeted me was a prerecorded message. I couldn't remember the exact words but the number was down at the moment. At that time I didn't think any of it. When I came home to use the phone card I was surprised to hear that I only have $11 left! That's when I thought that maybe it was a mistake. After using $9 of my remaining balance I decided to login and chat with them. I talked to this girl named Lani and she explained that according to their records I used most of my $20 purchase already calling the same number. When I asked the time when I called she said that I needed a subpoena or notarized letter and fax or email it to them for me to check my phone records. She said it's the law and a part of their terms and conditions. But what pissed me off was the fact that she kept denying that their system was down this morning. She made it look like I was lying. That's why I told her off and mentioned that I'm never going to use their service again. Good luck on the case. Someone should put an end to their scam!

Interesting...

My wife has been using Nobelcom for years to call home to Panama. She has always complained about having fewer minutes on her card than we have purchased. Tonight we bought a $20 card, which should have been good for about 140 minutes, after deducting all fees. When she called I had her put it on speaker and it said she had 96 minutes remaining.

I sent an email to their customer service asking for an explanation. If I don't hear from them I would be interested in being a party on this.

I can confirm to you that this is the exact practice of Nobelcom.com, enjoy prepaid and nobel talk. I know from the inside.

I can confirm to you as well that the call center is in Bucharest, Romania and they are telling the customer they are located in California...

There are LOTS of things they say to their customer and they lie like hell!

I wish you good luck with the lawsuit and I do hope you stop their business because they are acting with their young employees just like they act with their customers. The greedy Nobel brothers suck money from everybody just to satisfy their whims.

Nobelcom.com Access number not working, but problem solved

I purchased a nobelcom card to use from US to call Germany. the toll free no. they gave me didn't work: it was aither busy or got no answer.

I called them up to see what was going on, my call got connected fast enough: only about 5-10 seconds of waiting time. the lady on the other line explained to me that they were having some problems withe that particular access no, she did appologise a couple of times, and then gave me a local access number, told me it would even give me a lower rate (i did read about this on their site too, after the call). That number didn;t work the first 2 times I tried it - but after that it did. and I've been using it since.

So, nobelcom may have some problems occasionally, but to me they were fair and square. they solved my problem really fast, and now i have low rates and a good access no. I guess all's well that ends well.

They could use some improvements though, i hope they're working on that. I would definitely recommend this service to you people who make internat. calls. they're not perfect, but atleast they try.

Nobel I absolutly not a good service! Don't waste your money on this service. You will fill their pokets and they use VOIP and not Fiber Optik as they promise you.. .

Nobel.com is a rip off. I have been using it's Hello Pakistan card and it claims to charge 6.4cent/minute. I just timed my call to Pakistan and it was coming to 23.4 cents / minutes. I am sure their other cards do the same!
