Horrible service
I had my truck towed to Omeara Ford in Northglen, Colorado to have my alarm fixed which was stopping my 2005 Ford F250 from starting. I called two days later, and was told that my radiator would need to be replaced due to it being broken due to fixing some factory recalled items. I never signed a work order, and I never authorized them to fix this factory recalled item, nor asked them to fix it. They stated that there was a line off of the radiator that had been repaired before, and it broke while they were installing new parts. If they felt it had been repaired before then they should have stopped their work and advised me of the situation. They then told me my wife gave them "verbal permission' to work on the factory recalls. My wife knows nothing of automotive repairs and never authorized. Brian Beardon the service manager stated that I would have to pay $750.00 for a new radiator. New radiators for my truck go for $250.00 in this area, so they are doubling the actual price so I cover the whole cost of their mistake. I am suing this dealer and reporting them to the Consumer Fraud Division of Denver, and the Better Business Bureau as well. They were agressive in making more work on a simple alarm job. This dealership has a horrible reputaion online, and I wish I had known this earlier. The fight has just begun.
Bad customer service/discrimination
I am a first time car buyer. I went to purchase a car from a dealership and did not get the car of my choice but was offered a different car in which I was told I qualified for with the down payment I was able to afford. I had my car for a week when I was notified by the dealership that I was not fully financed and needed another $3200 down or I had to return the car. When we got there, we could hear all the sales people whispering about who was going to help the Chinese family. That was the first issue I had with them. The next thing was that the whole time we were going through the discussion of the financing. They refused to listen to me and continued to pressure me into buying different cars. When I would not give them anymore money or agree to buy a different car, they called me unflexible and said was I not interested in the cars they had because they were not Asian made cars. When I asked about getting some of down payment back since it was not my decision to return the car, they started coming up with all these excuses as to why they can't refund my money. When the car was purchased, there were dents and scratches all over the car, and my uncle can vouch for that, but they said I was the one who made those dents and scratches. They said they had proof of the car being in perfect condition before I bought it but when I asked them to see the pictures, they would not let me see them saying that even if I saw them, it would not help get my money back. After much arguing back and forth they finally agreed to pay back 1/4 of my down payment back. When I asked to get copies of the breakdown of all the charges they were charging me with and the return paperwork, they refused saying that it was property of the dealership and would only write on a sticking note that they were going to return the $241 dollars back to me. Before we were even done, he got up and said he was none and walked off leaving me with just a sticky note.
