Price Right Home toddler bed and customer service

Will never be ordering from them again. Awful customer service. Next day delivery is supposed to mean the item is delivered the next day! Ordered my son a new bed yesterday. Waited in all day today with no communication from the company to where my order is. Had to contact them twice to be advised there was a problem at the sorting office this morning and my parcel won't be delivered today and they don't know when it will be delivered either. According to PRH it's not there fault it's the carriers. MY CONTRACT IS NOT WITH THE CARRIER ITS WITH PRH. After asking what I was supposed to do for my son tonight for sleeping I was advised for my 17th month old to sleep on the sofa! I am utterly disgusted with the customer service I have received and will be making sure I leave a review of my experience everywhere physically possible!

Price Right Home Failed Delivery

I ordered a bed for my son last week Wednesday for delivery on Friday, i paid extra for this service and only half of my order was received. I spoke to a girl called Becky and she assured me that the delivery would arrive the Friday but once again it never showed up.
I then spoke to her again on Saturday and she told me that the courier lost my item which isn't my problem. I then spoke with her again on Monday morning and she once again assured me that i would be getting my item at my work address today! It did not arrive and it has now cost me £15 as i don't usually drive into work due to the high parking charges. I decided to drive into work so i was able to transport my goods home.

I demand a refund of my delivery charge, parking fee and compensation otherwise i am within my rights to take this matter further.

Price Right Home Crazy Postage Costs and Rude Staff

England based Price Right Home, deals with bedding and bed products - but they HUGELY overcharged for postage and staff were v rude.

On December 2010, I bought some bedding under their trading name " discountwallcoveringsandborders " from eBay, to be sent to my China based address.

They charged me £6.99 which I thought was reasonable, to be shipped from the UK.

Instead the bed cover was shipped within China and cost only 37p to send.

I complained to the company, but they said even though the product was made in China, that the packaging, customs label, return addresses were there's too...that they didn't send it within China?!

I attach proof of the packaging sent by them, clearly showing the 37p amount.

It's not such a big deal for me to lose over £6 on this order, but it's the way I was treated, lack of professionalism from the staff who did nothing to investigate the problem or explain why Price Right Home sent it from within China (probably from source).

They have ok feedback on eBay, but I think the public should be aware of them overcharging.

I agree the attitude of staff is not at all helpfuli purchased a dismey plane bed for my grandson aug 3rd it arrived five days later and on the frid evening my husband and i with a friend stArted to build it . Not difficuilt but none if the sides or front lined up when screws went in it was awful i unwrapped the mattress as there was a smell from it it was the foam i thought it was a deluxe mattress bit its reslly foam woth coils in it because it was folded over when it arrived like a sandwich i dont think this helps it was a disgrace and wuote dangerous for toddlers you could feel the coil spring through the mattress when i phoned them on mon morning they were not very helpful and told me to unpack it again afyer i had parcelled them up and take pics for them as they wpuld need to get in touch with manufacturers i explained trafing standards had said i paid priceright the money not the manufacturers they arranged to have it picked ip following day i secured the parcel with brown tape as their sellotape was not sticking by this time i put a note in as well as one attached to mattress pointing out where it was faulty i would not let my grandson sleep init or any other toddler wuite dangerous the next thing is an e mail saying i would not get a refund as the parcel had brown tape on it instead of their original and the matress was split open all lies you have to open parcels to see if they are the right thing i told trading standards who thought them unreasonable so they have £153 pounds plus yhe goods they adked in email if i wanted the goods back il hVe to pay the £15 pounds to have them returned why would i want faulty items its a disgrace thznk goodnesd i took the pictures definately one for watch dog raw deal and the consumer prog on tv which i am getting in touch with staff could not care less i would never buy anything from them as they sre most unhelpful .linda

Hi,

I can 100% confirm that all our goods are shipped from our warehouse in Maidenhead, UK. We have emailed the customer, /name removed/, several times to explain this, but /name removed/ refuses to believe us. We did not make any profit from the shipping of this item (£6.99 to China). I therefore am surprised by /name removed/ comments about 'Crazy Postage Costs'.

I have also reviewed all emails to /name removed/ and can find no evidence of my staff being rude. This is an accusation that we take very seriously. I have emailed /name removed/ for an explanation, but so far heard nothing.

We are a small family-run business with over 300, 000 happy customers, ands we pride ourselves on having the largest selection of children's goods at the best prices, and having a customer service team that are second to none.
