stops working
The Swivel Sweeper works for a little while then stops. Not the battery. Does the same on power supply. It's a little yellow circuit breaker inside the switch housing. Bypassed it, & everything's fine. I repeat...not the battery or the charger.

I purchased this product with my debet card. They advertise the product as follow: "One Swivel Sweeper G2 and a FREE Second Swivel Sweeper G2 for two payments of just $19.99 plus $14.99 P&H for each Swivel Sweeper G2, includes 2 Free Mini Sweepers & FREE Rush Shipping!"
I'd recieved only one unit. My Debt Card was charged $57.69; not once, not twice, not three times, but 11 times! That's is $634.59. I have contacted the company, they refused to talk to me. I sent them a dozen emails and they do not reply. My state's attorney general cannot help because it is an interstate commerce fraud, and FBI does not care because it is too small of a crime.
Do not buy from this company! They are fraud. They are conarts! You will be ripped off!
I agree! They are crook!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Do not recommend to buy anything from this company!
My complaint is that the plastic glides on the bottom of the Swivel Sweeper has badly marred the finish on our hickory floor! It will not even buff out!
Another problem is, after ordering from their toll free number, they misspelled my last name, which really came in handy. It identified them as the people that sold my information to to advertisers. We have been flooded with junk mail and phone calls all asking for Mr. Olsef, which was the misspelled name (Olsen) on my order.
Also, I was told the final charge for the sweeper with shipping was $14.95 less than I was actually charged. They led me to believe the shipping and handling was $14.95 for both units. I was actually charged twice that amount. I don't recommend purchasing anything from this company.
I went online to order and did not complete the final page for payment or finalize order. Their own add says that you pay 2 payments of 19.99 with 14.99 p/h per sweeper shiped. My total for shipping should have been (rounded off) 30.00, instead they tried to charge me 67.98. And to boot, I received and email in 1 minute that they would charge my CC. I did not even complete the info. I had to call back 4 times to only hear, "Oh its to late now we have shipped." I told them I was refusing the shipment and they said that would be fine and I would see a credit on my card. We will see. How can they charge you if you do not complete the form?
I feel your pain! I also have 2 swivel sweepers that are gathering dust. The telemarketers should be punished somehow for having bogus demonstrations.
I also ordered the swivel sweeper which came with a free mini sweeper for $39.98. I was to also get a free swivel sweeper and mini sweeper. I ordered a extra battery for $14.99. Boy was I surprised when my order arrived and my billing statement was for $54.97 plus $35.97 S/H for a total of $90.94. The sad part was that the sweeper didn't clean as advertised on TV and the batteries never held up long enough to even clean one room. Now I have 2 swivel sweepers, 2 chargers and 3 batteries and none of them work.
My neighbor ordered BOGO deal for $39.98 and was charged $39.98 for SHIPPING! Then they sent her another two, which she didn't order, and billed her another $39.98 x 2. She now has an outstanding bill of $202 for these pieces of crap. The batteries die quickly, and they can't be repaired. They lose power and efficiency even faster, she complains. They are threatening her, although she has tried to reason with them. DDDOOO NNNOOOTTT BBBUUUYYY!
I didn't have the ordering problems others here had, but I thought the product was inferior. I bought the Swivel Sweeper because the informercial showed that it cleaned both hard and carpeted surfaces. It does okay on the carpets, but I had hoped for something that could pick up dust bunnies (we have two cats and a dog) and it doesn't do that well at all.
Silly me, I trusted them and bought two. Don't do this! I might as well have started a bonfire with my money.
I was flim flammed by this conn job set up too. They need to be sued. You would think lawyers would have people cruising these complaint forums looking for stuations like this. I for one will keep my online transactions to a minimum. As long as these scamsites are aloud to flourish even the good sites will suffer.
You are lucky. They ripped me off for $634.59!
My mom ordered the swivel sweeper (buy one, get one free for $19.95). When she received her order, she was taken aback by the charges and additional items listed on the invoice that she did not order, batteries, filters, gliders, etc. They charged her credit card $212. for merchandise shipped and an additional $98. shipping & handling for a box that weighed about 5lbs. The box had a total of 13 pcs shipped; when we questioned why the s/h was so high for a package that was shipped regular by the US postal service, the representive told us that it is the company's policy to charge shipping and handling on each of the individual items in that one package, mind you, she only received one package but was charged shipping and handling on every item in that package. That is absurd! Then the rep said she would be willing to take $10.00 off the order if that would make us feel better. Talk about adding fuel to a fire...how can company's get away with this crap? We didn't get a chance to actually try the item out because we couldn't get past the bill. We are returning everything.
I agree. I actually found mine here http://offerstuff.net/offers/Other_Offers/Swivel_Sweeper.html and then ordered it. I got it home and used it and within a week it scratched my floor too. What am I supposed to do?

I bought this and was sent two gray color ones and the free handheld lint brushes, the website states that it was g2 and it was supposed to be red but yet they sent me a gray one and the lint brushes are not as advertise either. they need to send what they advertise on their website, and the sweeper does not pick up well either. i contacted customer service and they said it was an upgrade and it was the elite sweeper that they sent me, i paid for g2 sweeper and i expect what i paid for.
The max is the best of all of them. Has lots of pick up power, if kept hair free on the brushes. Cleans so easy too tried the g2, liked the max much bettet
Have a confirmation of ordering on [protected]. They tell me they have no record. Spoke to credit card company and they have charge on my card on [protected]. Who knows what is going to happen from here? I would not order from this company again.
I urge you not to buy from this website or through this offer. If you want a swivel sweeper- just go to Target Kohls or Walmart and get one on sale! They cost about $30.00 and then if it doesnt work or you dont like it- you can take it back- or the most you're "out" is the $30.00.
Here is my horror story with a phone order. My mom doesn't drive so instead of asking for us to pick one up for her, she ordered online through a TV add. (This is totally out of character because she is so thrifty and hates to have anything on her charge bill and ALWAYS pays it the day she gets it in the mail. ) She told me when she called it was for the 2 sweepers for the two easy payments of 19.99 and 14.99 S & H for each sweeper...(which is in itself a joke because it comes in one box anyway- Havent they heard about the one size/cost boxes thru USPS! )
Anyway- that agreement would total $68.96. She said the lady kept asking her if she wanted to "add on" this and that - and she explicitly said NO NO NO ! She was so upset about what she thought would be an easy order- and with all the hassle and questions...she said she would never do that again- AND THAT WAS BEFORE SHE FOUND OUT ABOUT GETTING RIPPED OFF WITH HUNDREDS MORE IN CHARGES!
The charge from Ontel in NJ was $405.64! I called for her because she was in the hospital and this is what they told me all the charges were for.
The original $68.96 for the 2 sweepers including shipping
PLUS: 8 extra batteries at about 14.99 each PLUS about 5.99 S/H for EACH battery (Totaling $167.00)
PLUS: 8 extra sliders at about $ 7.99 each PLUS $ 3.99 S/H for EACH slider package (Totaling $95.84)
Now of course who in their right mind would spend over $400.00 for a swivel sweeper and what kind of low-life agent would agree to sell this to an elderly lady! I asked how long a battery would last - and he said about a year- So I told him that with the 8 years of batteries- it was probably longer than my mom- who is 78- would last. Same for the sliders. I mean unless you were using this sweeper daily for a 5, 000 sq. ft. house... you couldnt go through all these add-ons! I told him you could get a Dyson Ball for that price- which I am quite confident- works much better than a cheapo swivel sweeper that is basically for small areas in the kitchen or bath!
We are now in the process of waiting for the "medium sized box" that is coming- and returning to sender without accepting it- so we can get our credit and NOT have to pay for return shipping! BTW- Ontels shipping charges totalled about $120.00 for ONE box . If I returned it I would pay the one sized/price USPS box for 9.99 or so! BUT of course we are NOT paying one penny for this rip-off.
The other funny thing is - is that after being told I cant cancel it because it already shipped (day after the order- my that was fast!) After 8 days she STILL hasn't gotten the box- so I can return it and get credit! Geez $120.00 in shipping doesn't get you much these days! They must do it pony express! What a joke! My family all had some good laughs about the 8 years of batteries and sliders. ( Like who could "suck up" to her so she would leave the extra batteries to them in her will!) Duh.. for the extra $200.00 why not just buy a bunch more swivel sweepers!
So.. after this long [censor] session - you see the point of boycotting this company!
I also heard that BOGO offer is not good. I just bought my on CVS, & another on eBay. Both work great, & eBay takes care if any returns, better & faster than Walmart. So does pay pal. It's better to just go buy one, or two. Cheaper than that special, eBay is mostly free shipping already, just have to look
I can't believe they sold her 8 batteries? I've had mine 4+ yrs, battery is still good. Just have to charge all the way, when u first get it, like 7-8 hrs., then after that, . When you need it, or hear it slowing down. As for the company ripping off your mom, I would call free legal help for elderly, or my local news, see how fast they fix your problem
I have to say the product works quite well. But customer service stinks. From day one my unit had a short in it. I thought it was were the contacts met the battery and kept pulling them up a bit. But the short contiuned. It turned out to be where the handle meets the sweeper head which I found out when I called them. I finally called the "service department". I told them my situation and they told be the unit was 2 1/2 months out of warranty. I told them that was not fair since I have been having trouble since day one. I then talked with the manager. Told her the same story. They were very cold hearted and not listening to reason. All black or white. No gray. Basically her comment was "I have told you the warranty is 90 days. Now do you want to buy the new handle or not. So I had no choice but to buy the new handle. I think the product is good, but don't expect anything out of customer service. Call them at the first moment of something being wrong. Heaven forbid it be over 90 days. You are out of luck. It must have been a long cold winter in NJ.
Iust have lucked out, because my customer service lady, just took care of mine, with a free replacement & parts..
I called the company to inquire about the battery life for the G2 Swivel Sweeper. I had to call the company directly [protected]) at a number not posted on its advertisement. They told me the battery life is only 6 months. In my opinion that is a terrible battery life and it costs over $20 to get a new one ($14.99 for battery + $5-$7 S&H...can't remember exact S&H cost). So expect to spend over $40 per year to keep this product working. In my opinion it is not worth the cost and hassle.
Not true, I've had my swivel nax for 4 yes now, works great. Used to clean my bar with it, even pucks up bottle caps.. I have emphysema, & this sweeper is just what I need.if you don't keep it clean, then it will stop working properly. Strings, hair, too much dirt, will stop.it from working. It's a safety feature.whenmy slider came off the bottom, I called the company, they sent me a whole replacement, but not the max.i told them they sent the wrong one, I just needed the glider, they sent me that too. Didn't charge me a penny? My sweeper is now back working great, because one slider came off, due to a teenager using it, roughly, it has been thru a lot, & still going. I love my sweeper
