Roseville Health & Wellness Center Ttraining Package

On March 9, 2022, at 2:30 pm, I met with Lisa Robinson, General Manager of Roseville Health & Wellness Center to discuss my options to choose a personal trainer to achieve my goals for better physical wellness. I explained to her that I did not want a full membership at the time. At first she was very aggressive about the important of having a full membership; however, I was only prepare to sign up for few sessions with a personal trainer at the time. Lisa stated to reserve a spot with PT I had to pay first and then she would schedule an appointment which I paid amount of $96.00 (was charged to my credit card) to meet with the trainer. This was basically a la carte of general membership.

On March 16 ,2022, at 12:00 pm, I met with Personal Trainer Heather Crivellone. She and I went over "Client Information Questionnaire" form that I had completed on March 9, 2022. We went over some of my medical history, lifestyle, exercise and nutrition related questions, and finally my goals for her (Heather) to determine my current fitness levels and to plan an exercise routines for me. We agreed on 2 sessions per week because Heather only had noon to 1 pm appointments available. After our appointment I went to the front desk and from the Fitness Menu, I purchase 10 session package training for amount of $785.00 (was charged to my credit card).

On March 21, 2022, at 1:00 pm, I had my first training session with Heather Crivellone. On April 11, 2022, we had an appointment at noon in which in early hours of the morning I sent her a text that I was not able to attend our session that day because I could not sleep due to having a lot of pain. Our next appointment was on April 18, 2022, I asked Heather when should we schedule an make up session. Heather stated," We will work it out." I brought it up again on April 25, 2022, and she stated;" We will manage it."

I could not understand why she was keep pushing the matter for later day. I wanted to make sure that she had an opening for the week of May 1st, since I was having other appointments that week. On April 26, 2022, I called and spoke to Owen in front desk. I asked to speak to Lisa Robinson and he stated that she was not available and if I like to leave her a message in which I did. I explained to him that I wanted to re-schedule one session and was hoping that Lisa can help since she is a manager. He stated that he will have her to contacted me or other staff who is able to reschedule appointments. I never received a call back from Lisa or anyone else.

On April 27, 2022, at the end of our last session I asked Heather when should we re-schedule make up session. She stated that we have completed our sessions and there is not more session left. I was taken back by her reply and I did not agree with her explanation. Then, I spend a few minutes explaining 3 times to her that I had purchased a package of 10 session, and I had one session left from April 11, 2022, in which I called in sick. Then, she stated that we had to talk to Lisa since she is a manager and a bookkeeper.

Once again, Lisa Robinson was not available. They assured me that she will call me to straight out this matter and I told them that she wasn't going to call me based on my experience with her. As of today, May 4, 2022, I have not received a call from Lisa Robinson to re-schedule one last session or to apologize.

Desired outcome: I want a refund for amount of $78.50 for one session.

Roseville Health & Wellness Center horrible service

This place is HORRIBLE. I joined their gym several years ago and paid all of my dues. A bookkeeper there recently called me and started screaming at me before I even hard a chance to speak. She was irrational, claiming I owed them money, and called me a 'deadbeat'. I offered to fax her copies of the checks I paid with but she would not accept that solution and hung up one me! I called the manager of the club and she was no better. Many members of that gym have had problems with this manager on many issues and she never responds in a professional manner and lies about everything. I have no idea why she is employed there. I am afraid they are going to harm my otherwise perfect credit for something I did not do. It seems I am going to have to go to court to stop them from doing so. Beware and stay away from Roseville Health and Wellness Center!

Roseville Health & Wellness Center bad manager

I've been a member for 2 1/2 years.

I have had a problem with the Aquatic Center (therapy pool). When I joined, I met the owner and he said the pool was heated to nearly 90* and was primarily a therapy pool.

For the first year and a half I went at different times and days including early mornings and late evenings.

Any time I went the pool was very comfortable for me. I have rheumatoid arthritis.

About a year ago, the water was all of a sudden much colder and I couldn't stay in the pool. I tried several times to talk to the manager but each time she said that "No one else has ever complained". but, I know at least 10 people who told me that they got the same story when they tried to talk to her.

I have seen her yell at members in the pool when they mentioned water temps., and have heard therapists being angry at how cold the water was.

The most frustrating part is not being able to get a straight answer from the manager. I AM SURE the owner told us that the pool would be warmer than it is now. If they've changed the policy, then they should say so! This manager is harming the goodwill of the facility and is known as a chronic liar.

So, if you are going to use the pool a lot and you need warmer water, be aware that you will now have to go to one of 4 Arthritis-type classes which are only in the mid afternoons, and which often fill up 30 minutes before class starts.

If you want to go to free swim time or morning classes, just know it's going to be cold!

I am reluctantly stopping my membership because the reality isn't what we were told when we joined.

Yes, the management there is extremely dishonest and completing lacking in ethics. I had the same experience. Here's another problem. They have classes with students who are with this gym because of health problems (i.e. hip replacements, etc.) and use the pool for therapy. Then the group x teachers teach classes geared for the most fit, offering no alternative exercises for these special needs members and encouraging them to work out at levels that will certainly harm them. It's ridiculous. High price, low quality.

Roseville Health & Wellness Center dishonest & bad customer service

I was doing a google search and saw the other recent complaint on this gym, the Roseville Health and Wellness Center in Roseville, CA and I had to respond. I wish I had seen the other one sooner. I was a member of this gym until last month. The best personal trainer there, Breann Zweck, was treated so badly and lied to by the manager that she was forced out. What they did to her was terrible and if they did it to one of their star trainers, they would do it to members. And they did. I tried to quit, because without Breann, it wasn't worth staying. They owed me for some personal training sessions that I paid for and had not received and I asked for a refund. The same manager gave me the run around and first denied I was owed. When I pressed the issue, she finally agreed to give me my refund. And I waited and waited. Every time I contacted her, it was the same "checks in the mail" sort of thing. Finally, after much frustration, they paid me. If I hadn't been so forceful, nothing would have happened.
I agree with the other poster. There are many other gyms in the Roseville area that can provide more honest customer service. Use them as I have joined another and am much happier and at ease.

I have been a ‘senior’ member of Roseville Health Center for more than 10 years and found out that my membership fee (first increase since I joined) had increased by 26% - where other members’ fee only increased 17%. A staff member told me that the discrepancy was due to a straight $10 across the board increase to all members.

I find this unfair business practice especially to someone like me who is a senior and a fixed retirement income. The discrepancy in percentage of increase is one thing but to do it with out notifying me of the increase indicates that his business does not care about their senior members. Due to the large increase in membership fee and lack of notification, I will cancel my membership with the Roseville Health Center. In fairness to all members the fee to all members should have increase by 26%.
