Disappointed with Rugs.com: Misleading Advertising and Poor Quality Rug
So, I just got this rug from Rugs.com, and I was pretty stoked about it. It looked real nice when it got here, and me and my wife laid it down in our living room right away. We chucked our old rug, thinking we were getting an upgrade. But a couple weeks later, we noticed some weird stuff goin' on. We lifted up the rug to clean underneath, and we found this big ol' cut about 2 and a half inches long along the edge. And get this, it was held together with some packing tape! What the heck, man? And to top it off, there were these big, heavy-duty staples in the corners of the rug, like they were tryin' to hold the thing together or something. They didn't seem to be doing anything useful, but if we tried to take 'em out, it might wreck the threads. So now we're left with a rug that's got problems we didn't know about when we bought it.
We reached out to rugs.com to try to get this sorted out, but we were super unsatisfied with the options they gave us. They said we could either return the rug for a refund, which would leave us with no rug at all, or they'd give us a measly 10% refund, which wouldn't come close to covering the costs of fixing up this mess. When we brought up that the rug was advertised as "brand new" with no imperfections, they tried to tell us that it was, in fact, "brand new" despite being 30-50 years old and having to be cleaned up after previous use. Come on, man! That's not what "brand new" means! We feel like rugs.com was straight-up lyin' to us about what we were buying, and we're pretty darn disappointed with the whole experience.
Overall, I'd say stay away from these guys. They don't seem to care much about their customers or the quality of their products.
Warning: Poor Customer Service and Shipping Experience with Rugs.com
I gotta say, I ordered through Amazon and Rugs.com shipped it out via ol’ reliable Fedex. And let me tell you, it was an absolute ride. I was expecting my rug to show up in no time thanks to my sweet Amazon Prime membership, but boy was I wrong. Fedex and Rugs.com were havin’ themselves a grand ol’ time messin’ with me and my package. They kept tellin’ me it was on its way and to just wait tight, like I hadn’t been checkin’ the darn tracking info myself!
But let me tell you, that ain’t even the kicker. Other companies I’ve ordered from before have had the decency to offer me a full refund AND replacement when stuff goes haywire with shipping. But not Rugs.com! They basically told me tough luck and to just deal with it. Can you believe that? They don’t seem to care ‘bout their customers as much as they should.
So let this be a warning to all y’all out there thinkin’ ‘bout buyin’ from Rugs.com. Don’t waste your time or money ‘cause they ain’t gonna do anything to make it right if something goes wrong. And if you’re like me and ya still ain’t got your package, might be time to take some action with your bank ‘cause Rugs.com and Fedex ain’t helpin’!
Disappointing Experience with Rugs.com: Unmatched Fringe, Missing Review, and Difficult Return Process
So, I wanted to share my experience with Rugs.com. I was really excited since I had heard some good things about them, so I decided to order a rug that had some amazing reviews on their website. When the rug finally arrived (and it was on time, I gotta give them that), I was quite disappointed to see that the fringe on both sides of the rug were all different lengths (you can see some pics, it is ridiculous).
I kept getting emails asking me to review Rugs.com, so I finally did, expressing my surprise at all of the good reviews and wondering how I could be the only one this happened to. I received an email saying that my review was received and reviewed, yet my review can be found nowhere on their site. INTERESTING. Now it's all starting to make sense to me.
I reached out to their customer service, which I gotta say, was quite difficult to get a hold of through email. But, when I finally did manage to contact them, they were polite and professional. They sent me a shipping label to return the rug, but also ensured that it was not the quality of the rug and that it was unlikely for me to see such a thing in another rug if I repurchased (HA - definitely not gonna repurchase anything from them anymore).
The problem was, it cost me an extra $12 just to get a tarp to roll the rug with and there were so many demanding instructions for the return that I am getting really nervous. I did some digging and saw that others have also had problems with Rugs.com. It seems like this is not the end of my troubles with them... I'm still waiting on that refund.
Overall, I am really disappointed and feeling scammed. I hate that companies can get away with this BS. I wouldn't recommend Rugs.com to anyone based on my experience.
Terrible Customer Service and Poor Quality Rug from Rugs.com
I order a rug from Rugs.com and when I got it, I saw that it was all messed up. There are 2 places where the weaving is messed up and it look terrible (look at the photo I attach). So I talk to them and they ask for photos which is fine but then they send me some stupid email about how to get rid of wrinkles in the rug. They no even mention the messed up parts! I try calling them but the person talks weird and I think they were in some place with lots of noise so I could not hear. It was really frustrating.
So then I said forget it and try to return the whole thing, including a pad I order at the same time. But when I try to do it online, it no work. I try clicking the button and then it say there is an error and I have to comeback later.
I really never want to do business with Rugs.com again because of this. But I give the rug one star because it still look pretty good for how cheap it was.
Questionable Business Practices and Incompetence at Rugs.com: A Customer's Experience
I ain't surprised one bit about all the folks giving Rugs.com some serious side-eye. I went ahead and made an order for $169.00, and they approved it and took my money right away. Not long afterwards though, I get an email talking about my order is invalid and cancelled. They go on to say that any funds they took from me would be back in my account in a few days.
So, I hit them up and asked what's going on but they don't give me any real answers. They just tell me that they can't help me and that I have to respond to the email. So, I did that, and waited around for FIVE days before getting a response that boils down to "We don't really know what happened with your order, sorry 'bout it."
What's even worse is that I never got any kind of call or text or nothing to verify the order. Meanwhile, my bank's all good with it. And it took ELEVEN whole days before I finally got my refund. Look, if Rugs.com thinks it's cool to let some random third-party company treat their customers like thieves with no explanation or anything, that's some straight-up shady business and I ain't tryna be a part of it. Just saying, y'all should think carefully before doing business with these cats.
Disappointing Experience with Rugs.com: Delayed Return Process and Poor Quality Product
I just bought a rug runner from Rugs.com and I got it in no time. But when I opened the packaging, my heart was broken. The rug was in bad shape, like a cheap piece of garbage. It bubbled and rumpled all over; I couldn’t use it. I tried to fix it by putting some weights on it and leaving it for a week. But it didn't work. So I made up my mind to return the useless thing.
I went to their website and filled out the return form. But they didn't give me the return tag immediately. I had to wait for a few days to hear from them. After a couple of days, I called them to ask for the tag. Finally, they provided me with one. I packed the rug and sent it back to them. Then they asked me to take some pictures of the defective area. I did that too, and I sent the pictures to them. But I heard nothing back from them for a few more days. I called them again and asked them to process my return immediately. They said they would do it as soon as they finish their "examination" of the rug.
I felt frustrated and lost my patience. This was just a small stain in one area of the rug. What was taking so long? But when I talked to the customer service representative, they said they had to examine the rug to make sure it was really defective. Only then could they refund my money. They approved my return finally, but it took one whole week. Later, I had to deliver it to a FEDEX location by myself. And then I waited a few more days before I got my refund.
I was not satisfied with the whole experience. It was so much hassle and unnecessary delay for a small purchase of less than $100. I could not imagine what would be like to deal with them for any more significant issues. I definitely won't shop at Rugs.com again.
Rugs.com Review: Great Customer Service, Disappointing Product
Back in September of 2019, I was on the hunt for a new rug at a decent price. I have purchased from erugs.com in the past, but their prices seemed a bit high this time around. I came across rugs.com and was impressed by their lovely selection and affordable prices. At least, that's what the picture showed me. The rug I was interested in had a thick, gorgeous 2-1/2" high pile infinity shag that I couldn't resist. I checked out this rug on three different sites, and the picture was the same on each site. However, I couldn't find any reviews for this new item from Turkey.
After browsing through hundreds of area rugs on five different sites, I went back to rugs.com feeling confident that I had done my research and was making the right decision. They had a beautiful selection of rugs and many 4 and 5 star reviews. I received my rug, and quite honestly, I was disappointed. The rug weighed no more than 25 lbs., and when I opened it up, it looked nothing like the picture. It was laying down in every direction and looked like straggly, sparse witches hair. I could see each individual fiber where it was looped, and the entire carpet backing was visible. When I stepped on it, it was like walking on the floor because there wasn't enough carpet to give it any cushion. Maybe the machine ran out of carpet, or maybe all the rugs were like this. I don't know.
However, I must say that their customer service was fantastic. I emailed them about the issue, and they responded to me within three minutes, expressing their sincere apologies and providing me with printable return labels and instructions on how to wrap the rug for shipping. They even offered me fedex for $5.00 and returned payment the day they received the rug, notifying me of the transaction. They did inform me that this rug was a new item, which explained why there weren't any reviews.
Despite my disappointing first experience, I think it's essential to give credit where credit is due. Rugs.com has a good standing as an e-tailer and offers exceptional customer service. I would consider giving them a second chance if I saw something I liked. Has anyone else had experience with this company? Overall, I've learned that you can't always count on the pictures, and it's essential to read reviews before making any purchase.
My Satisfying Purchase from Rugs.com: Persian Rug and Pad for Small Bedroom
i just ordered a rug from Rugs.com and i was real satisfied with my purchase. i didnt read no reviews before ordering, which i usually do, but i was scrollin for hours tryin to find the right rug and when i found one i jumped on it. i got a Persian rug in 6' x 6' and it was just what i was lookin for. i also got a 6 x 6 pad for it too which was very nice. i'm using the rug in a small bedroom with a twin size murphy bed so i needed to be able to fold the bed up in the middle of the rug. the carpet fibers are short, full, and soft which is what i expected for a Persian rug. it's not a "thick" carpet but it's good quality and i'm happy with it. i know some people were disappointed with these rugs because they're not super heavy or thick, but if you know what to expect and use a good pad under it, it works great. i'd say you get what you pay for, but i feel like i got a good deal for what i spent. i know some folks had problems with customer service, but i didn't have to deal with that. i think it's important to research what you want and measure your space carefully before ordering. sometimes colors can be off or a rug just doesn't work out the way you thought it would, but that's life. overall, i would recommend Rugs.com if you're lookin for a good quality rug at a decent price. just be realistic about what you're gettin and manage your expectations.
Rugs.com Review: My Experience with Canceling & Ordering a Rug Online
Read this if you need some help deciding whether or not to buy from Rugs.com. I ordered a rug the other day and then found another one that I liked better, so I wanted to cancel the first one and get the second one instead. But then I saw some negative comments about Rugs.com and I got really anxious. I was worried that canceling one order and keeping the other would be a huge pain! But I called and was on hold for a while, but eventually I talked to Jalesia who was so nice and helpful. She answered all my questions and made sure I got an email confirming the cancellation. A week later, my rug arrived - it's SO pretty and looks great in our dining room! I was really happy because I'd been looking for the perfect rug for a long time. The one I cancelled never showed up, which was good, and I got the credit for it immediately. I took off one star for the long wait time, but that's just because of the pandemic. I would totally recommend Rugs.com. The prices are reasonable and they have lots of rugs to choose from. Next time, I'll make sure to order a pad though because this rug is a little thin. It's not a big deal in the dining room, but it might be in other rooms. Anyway, if you're thinking about ordering from Rugs.com, go for it! It's worth the wait!
Terrible Customer Service: My Experience with Rugs.com
So, I decided to buy an area rug for my living room from this company called rugs.com, and it turned out to be a huge mistake. I ordered an 8x10 rug in August, and when it arrived, it was rolled up and folded in half, which caused it to have wrinkles that wouldn't go away. I let the rug sit for a week, but the wrinkles remained, so I tried to call the company. However, when I called, I was put on hold for almost two hours before I gave up and tried emailing them instead.
It took them two whole weeks to reply to my email, and they told me that I needed to return the rug in its original packaging in order to get a refund. I explained to them that I was a senior citizen and couldn't carry the rug to a FedEx facility, but they didn't seem to care. They finally agreed to send someone to pick up the rug, but by then, my return time had expired, and they charged me a 25% restocking fee.
I thought I would finally get my refund after they picked up the rug, but it ended up taking over a month before I saw my money back. I even had to dispute the charge on my credit card twice before they finally agreed to give me a refund. However, even then, they still charged me a restocking fee, even though they told me I wouldn't be charged.
Overall, rugs.com has terrible customer service, and I wouldn't recommend doing business with them. It took me from August to December to get my refund, and I had to go through a lot of hassle to do it. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and the attorney general, and I suggest you stay far away from this company if you don't want to go through the same experience as me.

Chaotic and Disorganized: My Experience with Rugs.com
I recently visited Rugs.com to find a new rug for my living room. They have a huge selection of products available, which is great, but trying to find what I want among all the options became a real headache.
They offer filters to help narrow down the search results, but unfortunately, the filters don't seem to work very well. No matter how many filters I selected, I was still presented with countless options, requiring me to spend hours upon hours sifting through products to ensure I was getting what I wanted at the best price.
To make matters worse, some products were listed multiple times under different colors, even though they had multiple color options available to select by product. This made it incredibly confusing to navigate the website and find what I was looking for. If Rugs.com could fix their filters, they could easily address this issue and eliminate the additional clutter of multiple listings.
Unfortunately, I found the site overall to be quite chaotic and disorganized, which made it extremely difficult to find what I was looking for. It took me days to finally purchase a rug because I felt so overwhelmed by the task, and I almost gave up entirely.
In the end, I did manage to find a rug that I liked, but I can't say I was entirely happy with my experience on Rugs.com. In fact, I doubt I will ever use the site again if I can avoid it.
Rugs.com Review: Great Rug, Terrible Customer Service & Missing Certificate
So, I recently bought this really dope Moroccan rug from Rugs.com. It was pretty pricey, like $3000, but my grandma always said "you gotta spend money to make money" and this rug was gonna be a real investment. They promised me this certificate of authenticity to go along with it, but I still haven't seen anything. And let me tell you, that rug arrived way before Christmas, maybe even like right around Christmas, and I still ain't seen that certificate. I've been calling them pretty much everyday and it's always the same story, "it's been sent out," "it's in the mail," blah, blah, blah. But like, where is it?
Their customer service is honestly pretty bogus, too. They take forever to answer the phone and I swear they got like one person working there. One time I even asked to speak to the person who buys the rugs for the company, you know, maybe they could help me out or something. But nah, they said that person wasn't even available. What kind of mess is that?
Don't get me wrong though, the rug itself is actually pretty dope. It came in good condition like they said it would. But the thing is, these kinds of rugs, like Persian rugs, oriental rugs, and Moroccan rugs are super pricey and you need that certificate of authenticity if you ever plan on selling it. Everyone knows that. It's just good business.
At this point, I'm about to demand to talk to a manager or something. But honestly, I don't think it's gonna do me any good. Rugs.com ain't exactly the most reputable company out there, if you know what I'm saying. My advice, just don't even bother with them. It ain't worth the hassle.
Rugs.com Review: Canceled Order Woes
I ain't gonna lie folks, I've had some troubles with rugs.com. I've tried to buy something from them twice in the past few years and both times they done gone and canceled my order! Can you believe it? So, I reach out to 'em to see what's the deal and they come back at me with some sorry excuse about Merchant Services not giving them reasons why my order got the boot. They did say I should use PayPal if I still want my stuff though.
Now, let me tell you this - I use the same dang credit card, the same address, and the same name every time I try to buy from these guys. I don't got no debts on my card either. So why do they keep canceling my orders?! It's plain as day - they just want to save some cash. And let me tell you - that ain't no valid reason to cancel somebody's order! I mean, come on.
So you know what? I'm gonna let my credit card company know about this mess. Maybe they can straighten things out. I'll keep y'all updated.

Beware of False Guarantees: My Terrible Experience with Rugs.com Customer Service
So I decided to buy an 8x10 rug from Rugs.com because the price seemed pretty good and they say they guarantee their prices to be the lowest. I love a good deal, you know? But then I was looking for a runner to match and I found the same 8x10 rug somewhere else for $100 less! Can you believe it? I mean, what kind of guarantee is that if they can't even beat the competition? I decided to email them about it only an hour or two after I made my purchase, asking if they'd match the other price. You know what? I never got a response. And then I tried calling them, but I was on hold forever and no one picked up. Who has time for that? They say they have 24/7 customer service, but clearly that's not true. And don't even get me started on their excuse about Covid. Multiple people have complained about their lack of customer service even before the pandemic. Finally, I got fed up and demanded that they cancel my order - which hadn't even shipped yet - but guess what? Crickets. No response. They're either totally helpless or total crooks. If they actually ship the rug, I'm going to refuse it and dispute the charges. I even contacted the Better Business Bureau and the attorney general's consumer complaints office in South Carolina. This was a terrible experience and I would never, ever buy from this phony company again.
Mixed Experience with Rugs.com: Great Shipping and Returns Policy, Poor Customer Service and Communication
I found Rugs.com because they had a great deal: "free shipping and free returns". It's hard enough to pick out a rug that will match your decor, so I was relieved to see that I wouldn't have to worry about shipping costs or hassle if I needed to return it. Plus, with the pandemic, I've been doing more online shopping than ever before.
Unfortunately, I ordered a rug that didn't quite fit in my space. I tried calling customer service several times, but I was always put on hold for too long. So, I decided to email them instead.
To my surprise, the email I received back offered me two options: either keep the rug and get a $20 credit or get 25% off on another rug. I fully anticipated sending the rug back, so this was a nice surprise. I ended up choosing another rug and bought it right away. I emailed them again to let them know.
And that's when the trouble started.
Every email they sent me after that ignored the fact that I bought another rug. Even though I repeatedly included my order number. At first, I thought it was just a mistake. But after multiple attempts to get them to acknowledge my purchase and the 25% discount, I'm convinced that they're just trying to get out of giving me the discount.
I'm very disappointed in the way Rugs.com has handled this. I won't be recommending them to anyone, and I definitely won't be buying from them again.
If you're thinking of shopping on Rugs.com, I would advise you to be careful.
Beware of terrible customer service and inaccurate products from this rug company!
So, I purchased a rug from these folks at a wonderful cost. Nevertheless, when it arrived, it was the inaccurate rug. I reached out and they promised to dispatch a return label, but to my surprise, I had to repack and mail back a 10-foot long rug only because they made a fault, and guess what, the pickup costs extra. It took me like one hour and 45 minutes to reach them on the telephone, and that cause me a great deal of frustration. I got refunded after returning the rug and then decided to order for the correct one, but what I got was something quite different from what was advertised in the color description. The color was supposed to be white, but it was obviously gray, and I tried reaching out for another return label to send it back. This time, I waited for 45 minutes on hold, and that was way too long. With no response after sending an email, I had to send another one and another one until I finally got the return label, which nearly took a whole week, way too long for comfort. Eventually, I decided to place an order for another rug with excellent reviews, but the outcome was much worse than before. Instead of the 8-foot long coral rug I paid for, I received, seven days after the guaranteed delivery date, a small, round, black and white rug that couldn't fit into my living room adequately. This time I've sent three emails to the customer service team without any response yet. I'm getting so fed up and desperate that I will soon have no other choice than to involve Paypal and get the money back since I am running out of time. I have learned my lesson and wouldn't be caught dead ordering from them ever again, regardless of how good the deals seem. Instead, I went to my local Target and got myself a fantastic, inexpensive rug. Please do not fall for their "great deals."
Terrible Experience with Rugs.com; Package Mystery and Poor Customer Service
I got me a rug from Rugs.com. They told me that my package was dropped off by FedEx on my porch. I was waiting for it a few days. Didn't see no FedEx on the cameras for the whole week. I dumb reached out to Rugs.com and told 'em about the troubles I was having. They said I messed up the shipping address and the package went someplace else. The address they said I gave ain't even a real address. The "proof of delivery" they showed me didn't give no details about where the rug ended up. They said if I still wanted the rug I had to go get it my dang self at this mystery spot. That was all they could do. FedEx didn't know nothin' either. I decided to do a bit of research and looked up Rugs.com on the Better Business Bureau. Holy cow, they got a dang "F" rating due to over 200+ complaints against them. Lots of them ain't been fixed or replied to either. Ain't no way I'm shopping at Rugs.com again, y'all.
Poor quality and unhelpful customer service from Rugs.com
SO, I wanted some new rugs for my house and I decided to try out Rugs.com. I ordered five of them, hoping they would all match and look great in my space. When they arrived, I was pretty excited to see how they would look.
Unfortunately, when I unrolled them, two of the rugs had some printing errors in the pattern. I was a little disappointed but I didn't want to go through the trouble of returning them, especially since I had already thrown away the packaging.
However, I soon realized that the edges of all the rugs were rolled up and wouldn't flatten out. I thought that maybe over time they would start to flatten, but instead, they just started to fray. Pretty soon, the fraying got so bad that I knew I needed to contact customer service.
I got in touch with them about 5 days after the 30-day return window, which I know wasn't ideal, but I just wanted to let them know that their products were poor quality and defective. But guess what? They didn't want to help me out with this issue! They were charging me a restocking fee for rugs that were practically falling apart, and they were making me pay to return them too!
Honestly, I don't think this is fair. I understand if I had the rugs for months and had caused the damage myself, but I had only had them for 35 days and they were already a mess. My house doesn't even have any pets or young kids that could have caused the fraying- it was just a straight-up quality issue.
I tried to load some photos of the rugs so you could see how bad they looked, but they were too big. The thing is, once the fraying starts, it only gets worse. I mean, come on- these rugs shouldn't be falling apart after just four weeks on the floor!
I just wish that Rugs.com would have stood behind their product and helped me out with this issue. It's really frustrating to spend money on something and have it turn out to be terrible quality. Plus, the customer service was not helpful at all. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone looking for good quality rugs.
Disappointing Experience with Rugs.com: Late Delivery & Poor Customer Service
I got me two rugs from Rugs.com and I paid fer express delivery dun on the 24th of December '19 coz we was gonna have a party fer New Years Eve. But coz of the hollidays, ma shipment was late. I weren't mad at 'em coz hollidays are always cray cray. But then I only got one rug on the 26th and the tracking info dun say nuthin' 'bout when'z I would get the second one. I called 'em four times and each time the customer service folks 'spressed they would follow up with text messages or calls, but those never arrived in mah phone. Coz it dun look like I'll get the rugz fer ma party in time, I just had to ask fer a refind so I could just go and buy one somewhere else. As someone who's worked in customer service fer big corps, I kin sure unnerstand that things can get 'em held up. So I ain't rude nor disrespectfu to them reps none of them times. But lemme tell ya, besides Steve, them reps ain't courteous nor professional. They dun interrupt me and were rude, pushy and sarcastic, specially the young lady that dun the refind. Since then, I been lookin' at reviews all 'round der web and I'd have to tell y'all to find another place to buy yer rugs.
Rugs.com Review: Disappointment After Disappointment When Ordering a New Rug
I gotta say, I was real excited when I got my rug from rugs.com. I forked out over 400 bucks for it, so I had high hopes. But when I opened it up, I dang near had a heart attack. Huge cut right down the middle! I snapped a pic and sent it off to rugs.com, then called up to talk to Latoya, who was actually super nice. She got me a replacement, but I was pretty bummed that I had to pick a different rug cause they didn't have the one I ordered.
Anyways, I waited another week for the replacement rug. Got it opened it up, and I couldn't believe my eyes. Looked like it had been used before, with stains all over it and smashed up in parts. Not what I was expecting for a new rug, you know? So I took more photos and called up rugs.com. Told them everything that went down and got told that they had taken a photo of the rug at the warehouse and it was in perfect condition, brand spanking new.
But here's the thing, they only showed me where the rug wasn't stained. But if you looked real close, you could still see some of them stains. It made me feel like they thought I was lying about the replacement rug being ruined too. Not cool, man. Not cool.
So now, I gotta send back the rug and hope I get my refund. Honestly, if you're okay with spending big bucks for a pre-owned rug, then go ahead and give rugs.com a try. But if you're wanting a brand new one, I'd shop somewhere else. I've had enough disappointment for one day.
